[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]IN GAME NAME [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Valentine Carvel [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: Seventeen [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Sonia Nevermind, Danganronpa [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Toast [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Valentine is a young, beautiful girl that mirrors the beauty of a princess. She has a ashy blonde hair, on the verge of being white. She keeps her own unique hairstyle out in public, wearing her part of her hair in a braid across the top of her head, as though a hairband. The rest of her hair flows down her back, reaching all the way down her back. She accompanies this hairstyle with a large black ribbon on the left side of her head, which he is hardly ever seen without. She is seldom seen with her hair in a simple ponytail, with the black ribbon use to keep her hair in place. She has light blue eyes that are often mistaken for grey. Her eyes are rounded and large, often allowing one to easily know what emotion she is feeling with just a single glance. She often tries to stay positive, so her eyes gleam with hope. She keeps a slender figure for herself with decent sized breasts, standing at 5'6. Due to what her life was outside of Elder Tale, she got a tailor to make her clothes to mimic that of a high-class Japanese student, as she had a loving nature of Japanese culture. She refuses to wear anything that isn't a skirt, so even the armour she purchases will include one. In both public and private she presents herself with high class, wearing what she will and wear the most appropriate things depending on where she is going. She fits the stereotype of a princess or noble, as she refuses to stray from her high-class life in the United Kingdom. She looks almost identical in-game and in real life, preferring to keep her beauty in both real life and virtually. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Valentine acts as though she is a princess, thinking highly of all of her allies and easily intrigued by those around her. Although filled with good intentions, she is often stubborn and refuses to believe things she makes to not be true in her mind. It will often takes hours to convince her of something tragic, especially if she was put to the task to aid said thing. In Elder Tale, friends are her most prized possession. Her life in the real world was lacking in that factor, as she was part of a high-class noble family that only allowed her to do so much with the money and power her family had. Part of her loves the fact she was forced into Elder Tale, as her life prior was extremely lacking to her and was one year away to being forced to marry a boy she hardly even knew. Due to her background, she often speaks like a princess in extremely proper dialogue, almost never seen speaking casual or swearing. She is also known for being naive and gullible, often falling for the silliest of tricks and falling for the most obvious of scams. She simply sees this as another disability and trait obtained from her lifestyle before hand. Despite her hatred for the life she once held, she often portrays her life previous to have been perfect to others, not wanting them to worry about how she is feeling, since as a cleric, that is truly her job within the game. Because of this factor she has taken Animal Tamer as a subclass, always wanting to have run away into the woods and befriend the forest animals, but was always told it was dirty and thus declined the opportunities. She is a cleric, thus she leaves the job of healing and keeping her friends and companions healthy. This will always be her top priority, over anything else. If she is told to retreat whilst a member is being bombarded by enemies, she will not leave their side until either or both parties die. She holds her friends as her most dearest position, the next most important thing being her large black bow, for her own personal reasons. She wields a rapier because of, strangely enough, the fencing she was forced to practice in the real world. Despite her class she refuses to stray from this weapon of choice and switch to a staff or wand, only drawing it in the most dire of situations. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] She was born into the Carvel family on May 13, 1997. Her family had an extremely high status in the United Kingdom, having their own estates and plots of land that stretched further than the eye could see. There she was introduced to a life rivalled by that of a princess, treated with maids the best foods and spoiled to the bone. Spoiled in the way she get everything she wanted, not everything she needed. She longed for a 'childhood friend' or that 'boy next door' sort of feeling, but that void was only filled with more and more heart-aching loneliness. It was here that she learned to speak and act the way she did, which hardly changed as her life shifted into Elder Tale, her new reality. She often spent her free time practicing fencing with the rapier, as well as horseback riding. Both high end activities that took a lot of commitment and money. It wasn't that she hated doing either of these, they were a great way of distracting her. It was simply the fact she would rather be out in a forest playing hide and go seek and befriending wild deer, rather than a million dollar already tamed horse. Her mother was the only one to sympathises with her, knowing how she felt as she lived through a near identical experience through her own childhood. However, with the advances of technology now, her mother recalled a video game called 'Elder Tale', which her father would not let her touch, thus her mother and herself worked in secret to get the game set up and running. She had watched game plays of it online, intrigued by the fantasy world of becoming anything you wanted, with limits rivalled by the border of the United Kingdom. She was sure she would get the hang of it and often spent hours throughout the night seeking the thrill and excitement of the two decade old game. It wasn't soon after that did she finally start, and the apocalypse struck down on Earth. She was a newbie, as were most of the players located in the United Kingdom. Elder Tale was just a game she couldn't play when her mother was a child, but with the servers now placed in Europe this was finally a possibility for her. At first she was confused, looking at the London she didn't recognise, accompanied by thousands of other players who were just as confused and scared as she was. She had chosen the Cleric class, wanting to be able to aid those in combat providing support matched by no other classes regarding its healing capabilities. She finally made her dreams a reality in this world, choosing Animal Tamer and Pharmacist as sub-classes, allowing her to get down into the forests and do what she longed so much to do. She seeks a good group of friends now, more worried about that then actually exiting their new reality. Elder Tale was more of a blessing to her, and escape better than she had imagined it would be. She keeps this to herself most of the time, knowing many ache in their hearts and long for their old home. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"] Blood type O+, right hand dominant. Unlike Heal that immediately restores hit points at once, Reactive Heal requires the target to receive damage to trigger this skill's effect. Reactive Heal's effectiveness in combat relies on the caster's level and the level of the skill itself, but it does not require the Cleric to focus on a single ally like in Heal, allowing the "Heal Walk" tactic to be employed. When activated, the ally becomes wrapped with a warm orange light as a visual effect. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 15 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Scout: Level 1 Skill The Animal Trainer attempts to recruit a monster to their cause in order to create a temporary partner. This is often done by approaching the monster without startling or aggravating it. If performed successfully, a tamed monster will fight by the Trainer's side for a few minutes before control is lost and the monster returns to the environment. Certain situations might make this duration last longer or shorter; acts of kindness toward the tamed monster will make it stick around for longer, while excessive demand will make the Trainer quickly lose favor with the monster. Only one monster can be tamed at a time at the early levels. [attr="class","skill"]Detox: Level 1 Skill Pharmacists have developed a certain resistance around drugs. This skill can be toggled to make a pharmacist immune to status debuffs caused by potions. Additionally, they passively recover twice as fast from poison status effects. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: N/A. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Starter Rapier: A thin sword with complete emphasis in thrusting. A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
