Hmm. She looks like she's be too frail. He's too loud. And she's... it's best not say. A white-haired fox tail man was scanning the small crowd of people gathered in the lobby of the Old Parliament Building. His eyebrows furrowed in frustration at the thought of not finding anyone who looked capable on the battlefield. After all, he needed someone to use as a meat shield to keep the pressure off of himself. He enjoyed being an Enchanter, but it was always difficult at the low levels. The Catastrophe managed to wipe out all of his data, which was annoyed to say the least. He was capable of going out on his own, but it would definitely be a grueling expedition. He figured that it would be best for him to find someone to help him. The plights of an Enchanter. Ah, how bothersome.
The fox tail began to walk around the building, he edged closer to a pair of adventurers. They looked like they were having an intense conversation. One that seemed interesting to the curious man. He positioned himself behind them, close enough to hear, yet far enough to look like a nonchalant guy.
"I just wanna go home. This was fun at first, but now, I miss my family." A small girl said. She was visably sad and on the verge of tears.
A large man looked down at her with comforting eyes. He spoke in a calming tone, "At least we're here together, babe. We need to stick together. Keep our heads in the game. Maybe join a guild."
"Oh, Christophe!" The girl fell into his arms sobbing.
Yuck! Moontail wasn't pleased by the blubbering mess of a girl. He scoffed before walking away. I wonder how much time has passed since I first came here. The time seemed to flow by seamlessly. He hadn't thought to keep track of it, but he was certain that a few days had passed. He was mostly concerned with learning more about this world as there seemed to be no way out. He decided that he would make the most of such an odd event. It was useless to be saddened and distraught. It just made everything messy. Moontail leaned against a wall and opened his interface. He began to peruse the menus, no particular goal in mind. He was bored and it showed. He was debating on find a quest to pass the time. He figured that those would still be available here.
