body; DEF0F9 speech; F4B7C8 thoughts; FCF2F6 [color=DEF0F9] Recent quests that had been rumoured throughout the community struck Valentine as curious, one about clearing monsters below the surface to make for safe travels for the future. She herself was nearly useless in a fight, entirely dependent upon her team mates and ability with her rapier, which she always had sheathed, hanging off of her left hip. She was quick to disregard the potential dangers of the underground monsters, feeling that she could easily find a group of people willing to adopt a new cleric like herself. There was usually a high demand for such a role, as most people enjoyed being tanks or fighters rather than a support role. She skipped her way over to the station, standing by as groups of friends and adventurers passed her, eager to fight off creatures in the earth beneath them. A part of her wished she had a group of friends, but a part of her also knew things like that took time, and she knew the world had something planned for her. She escaped the sunlight, heading into the cave, watching the last strands of sunlight fade away as the only lights that remained were ones stuck in the walls, barely illuminating the caves enough to see.
[/color][/font][/div][/blockquote][/blockquote][/div][/div]
It didn't take long for her to see glows of all sorts come from around her, groups of people sending their magics all throughout the station. She searched for a group that seemed to lack a healer, but she couldn't spot one for her life. She wasn't even a high level, she was still rather basic at the game, so she knew her chances were even slimmer of finding someone down here in need of her help. In wasn't that long until noises and magic alike stopped, as she realised she was alone in the darkness. Alone? Was she really? The excited cheers from a party could faintly be heard from behind her, but she knew it would take them at least 40 measures to reach her location. She stood in the darkness, a tad bit afraid with her hand on her rapier. "I shouldn't have come here alone, how could I have been so foolish?!" she scolded herself mentally, before the gurgles of a monster seemed to be heading for her direction, as she faintly spotted a man lying within the darkness. Was he hurt? She ran over to him, inspecting his body only to realise he was relaxing. The monsters approached faster, it seemed like she was their target. "Sir, I know this is sudden but may I request of you to slay these monsters? I will assist you in anyway I can, but I am unable to fend them off by myself." She quickly spit out, before drawing her rapier in a defensive fright. [/color][/font][/div] why do these ugly things appear when i click save changes sos god

"Valentine;" @tagged words: #### ♥ | and I feel ALIVE when I'm with you ♥ deep inside it's something true ♥ You're the only reason I fight ♥ You're the best thing in my life ♥
Yet he began to slowly realize that the terror was making him feel more alive than he had for a very long time. The sense of adventure and excitement, something new, it was proving to him that there was more to life than the adventures he read in his history books. He really did like her. He really did want to be with her. The logical part of his brain was being drowned out. Logic decreed that they wouldn't work due to their similarities. Logic decreed that they were two hormonal teenagers in high school, and this wouldn't last longer than a fling.
But one never forgets the first love they had.
He felt her fingers brush against his cheek and his breath caught. He had never experienced something like this. He was pinned between a beautiful girl and a wall, with the girl brushing his cheek and telling her that she liked him, confessing her fears about what could be. His head started to spin. The logic and reason that he prided himself on, both as a student and as the future vice-president of the academics club, that part of his brain was completely out the window. Instinct, pure instinct took over his head.
When she said that he could say no, he cut off her speech. At the last moment, part of his mind came back to him. He didn't want to scare her. He leaned in, his eyes glazed over, his breath erratic with nervousness, and he lightly brushed his lips against hers. It was a soft and shy caress, a tease of what he desired, but he would keep it slow. He held the kiss for a couple of seconds, before coming apart from her and resting his forehead on hers.
“I'm not going anywhere.” He whispered quietly to her, his voice shaky with both nerves and excitement. ooc ♥ notes here. |
