my eternal solace A break from his travels were surely well deserved. What his adventures brought him were tales of exploration into places he never saw himself venturing into. Never in a lifetime.
Sitting inside a breezy shop, a round wooden table stood before him and a chair on the other side, the man took a sip of his warm beverage. Aside from the vodka and water he drank among comrades in arms, tea was his choice of beverage. It carried a rich history in his heritage and he made great strides to preserve what was left of the past. Sometimes people would get too caught up on pursuing the stars in the sky and forget to take care of their foundation. He didn't want to lose himself now, especially since he was so far away from home.
A sigh huffed from his chest as he closed his eyes and remembered what he had been taken from: a home with a stable job and people dearly close to him. Though his time in the real world had come to an end, it was time to move on and the acceptance of a new one here in this video game became his true reality.
Timur slid his fingers across the dark lines running lateral upon the table's surface. His mind had wandered into a forest of possibilities, getting lost in its allure.
The aroma of his remedy fluttered into his nostrils and the taste of the tea leaves bringing satisfaction to a heart longing for comfort. In a world where he knew no one...
Loneliness would be the one thing he would come to know very well. On a personal level with nobody and an emotional bond with nothing, he pondered how long before insanity drew him into its dark grasps and consumed his sanity forever.
It was only a matter of time unless he did something about it. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

As a young woman interested in quantum physics and the like, the druid had to pin it on chance and luck that she finally decided to visit a shop that she has passed by multiple times during her time in Elder Tale. The day was fine with small winds, clear skies, and a gentle chatter of small groups. Suiren figured that she wanted to eat something sweet in her usual cafe just a couple of streets away from Big Ben. Instead, she passed it by without a look and continued on until someone caught her attention. She pondered on the many questions that led her to her current awkward position.
Suiren considered herself a natural introvert. She never made the first move in anything aside from her large family. As the eldest child she had to be assertive and boss around her siblings, telling them what the difference between right and wrong, or pushing them to do their chores. When it came to friends and strangers, she was more like a determined ghost who popped in and out of invisible mode to answer questions or talk when spoken to. So, it was somewhat of a shock that she felt the need to converse with someone she had never met.
With a steaming cup of tea, she found herself glancing at a lone man, seemingly lost in his own world. She looked around the shop. There were plenty of other open seats for her to take and it wasn't like she really wanted to talk to this particular guy. However, something pushed her to go ahead and attempt to socialize with him. Her free hand twitched once as she nervously made her way toward him. Suiren cleared her throat to get his attention. "Hey," she greeted, switching her heated cup from one had to the other. "Mind if I join you?"

my eternal solace Swirls of his tea tickled his nose and the more time he spent in his own thoughts, the further he retreated from his new reality.
Alas, something drew him back. Lo and behold, it was a sweet voice that soothed his frail mind and brought him back to his wooden seat in the middle of a tea shop.
Fair strands flowed from her head and her topaz eyes warmed his cold center.
"Of course, of course." Though the accent would seem coarse and uninviting, he spoke softly and kindly. "Allow me." He stood and positioned himself to pull out her chair from the small table.
When she was seated properly and situated, he'd present a warm smile. Company was what he needed. Grateful in her presence, a conversation with a complete stranger offered a whole new insight into the world. Though she didn't seem to have that rugged and experienced feel of the other players he had come across, there was the certain allure that she carried with her. It attracted him to her in a way that a conversation would her lead to nothing but happiness.
Back to the actual interaction between two people at hand, Litost curled his fingers around his cup, feeling the warmth resonate through the porcelain. "My name is Litost," a hand raising from his cup to hover over the table for the universal sign of greeting. "A pleasure to meet you." MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

"Oh!" Suiren blinked in surprise when the man pulled out the chair for her. In this day and age no one really went out of their way to do things for other people, especially for strangers. While it had caught her off guard and sent a soft blush to her cheeks, the feeling of being attended to was pleasant. Not wanting to be rude, she sat comfortably in the chair and gave him a small smile while reaching over to shake his hand. "I'm Sui- Ah. I mean, Khaleesi."
Her cheeks, already pink from being treated as a lady, shifted to a darker red at her mistake. Being a "newbie", as her friends called her, to games in general Suiren was still trying to get used to the concept of usernames, name handles, and the like. Immediately, she drew her hand back and turned her gaze to her steaming cup of tea. What is she suppose to say now? She was the one that intruded on his table and his time, she should be doing or saying something to not bore him. As she tried to think of a topic to bring up, Suiren tried to peek up from her bangs to look at him.
Taking in his hulking figure, she wondered how he came up with that character: silver white hair, icy blue eyes, a strong facial structure, and what not. It must have taken a while to design, she concluded. Knowing she was too lazy and impatient to go through all the detail oriented options to make a completely new and unique person, Suiren basically made herself in the game. "Is that tea?" Her fox ears perking up from atop of her head when her sense of smell picked up a different yet similar aroma, breaking her not so subtle observation of him. Curiosity taking over, the druid leaned in a bit to see what kind of tea he was having.

my eternal solace Her slight hesitation was familiar in the fact that he had done so himself. Trying hard to keep up the identity he had created for himself in the game was hard since he was so used to shouting out his last name to his superiors. Litost was a strange word to most people and they often confused it for a typo. He wasn't dumb. He wasn't trying to enter "Le Toast" as a name. That was utter bologna.
He nodded once. "Khaleesi," he whispered, mimicking the way she spoke her own name. "A very pretty name."
Timur adjusted his collar, making sure it wasn't all over the place, a habit he had back in the real world. He noticed her positioning as she asked what tea he was drinking. It was unlike many Russians to take part in the consumption of green tea. However, since he was stationed somewhere near the border of China, he adapted to the locals and took up a liking to it. Black tea was sometimes a choice, but its oriental cousin was becoming more and more favored over the typical Ruskie beverage.
"Ah," he moved his upper back slightly to let light shine into the fluid. "Green tea."
Small talk and just the thought of it rubbed him the wrong way. Sure it was a nice way to try and find a topic they could talk about, but he wanted to keep her entertained for the most part. "So what made you choose Khaleesi to be your name?" Litost's fingers laced with one another and were held in front of his mouth. "It's rather unique, no?"
