KittyGrey | Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams we're on each others team Hope it's okay ^///^ Also, testing out my new template XD | Ame shifted her eyes around the Thanks Coastline as she searched for the person she was waiting for. She wasn't sure what the day would bring her, but she found herself anticipating it now, even more so than before, that the day was here. They had been through a lot, the team that she had seemed to be connected to since the beginning. Lavina, Balore and herself had just finished an event quest not too long ago and she was sure that today would be a good day to wind down from the experience, though it had been fun, it had also taken a lot out of her, and more than likely the others as well. She walked down the sunny beach, feeling the hot sand between her toes. 'I wonder if he'll come..' It wasn't that he was late or that she even actually thought he wouldn't show up, but, she always seemed to worry for no reason. That's what she got for getting up early and rushing to get there, even though she knew that they hadn't planned it until a little while later, even still the thought seemed to burn into her mind.
She felt her eyes wander to the bathing suit that a local tailor had made her and she felt her cheeks turn red. She had asked for a similar design, but she guess that the Lander gentleman decided her design wasn't good enough, because he added, or took away, some of the things she had asked for, things like being a bit concealed. No, instead, she felt as though she was hanging out at all which ways. She didn't necessarily feel uncomfortable, but she didn't want to give Balore a bad impression of her, as she normally didn't dress so, scantily clad. Even so, it was a cute bathing suit, she would admit that much. She loved the flower accessory that he had thrown on for her though, she thought it added a bit of finesse to the under clothed swim wear she was now sporting. She shook her head. 'I can't change it now.. I'm already here..' She would have no choice but to wear it, and pray that Balore didn't think less of her, though she was sure he wouldn't mind.
The thought made a giggle escape her lips as she walked a little further down the beach. There was a small breeze, but the sun was so hot that she barely noticed it. Soon she found a spot that she felt would make a nice place for the lunch she had prepared for them, though she was hoping she hadn't over done it. She went a little crazy sometimes when it came to food and she thought that today would be a special day, so she just wanted to make it more so, and add her own flare into their date. She felt her face stretch into a grin as she thought of the word. She just couldn't wait any longer, she thought the anticipation was going to kill her. As she sat down in the spot, she brought her hands up to the back of her head and felt her body lean backwards. She closed her eyes to shelter them from being burnt by the sun and laid there, letting the sun heat up her skin. |

doesn't it feel like we're falling ❝ Although yesterday he would have said yes, today he wasn't nervous in the slightest. There was a bounce in his step as he went about his morning routines and prepared his gear for the day. He wasn't going to be wearing it but he still decided that he should bring it along just incase they needed to defend themselves from something. There were Sahagin along the coast sometimes if he remembered correctly and they were a nasty sort of critter. Balore even made an attempt to wrangle the messy mane of white hair upon his head but it was all for naught with the wolf hair race. Once he was satisfied with all of that he stretched his arms and let out a loud yawn. The other day he spent most of the day looking for someone to make him a bathing suit. Deciding to go with something plain with no stats in the end he realized he wasted most of the day doing it. 'Should have sprung for swimspeed. You never know..' he thought to himself as he gathered himself and headed out the door. It took an hour or so to get there unfortunately from where he was. His only hope was that she was not waiting too long for him to show up. If he was late on the first date he assumed that any others if at all possible would be expected to start this way. As his bare feet hit the sand, he let out a sigh of relief, and had an amused expression on his face. Balore had never felt the sensation people spoke of when sand squished between his feet. This was all so new to him and now his only fear was the water it's self. " Ahoy!" Balore called out to Kitty as he finally spotted her, waving his arms excitedly. He was not afraid to look like a goof when he was happy about something. Today his mood was through the roof, buzzing with excitement, and he only hoped that the mood was contagious. His long strides would carry him over the distance between the two of them rather quickly, leaving him only standing a few feet away from her. He was so excited he didn't even notice the bikini at first. Now that he was closer his eyes took in the sight of Kitty before him. Was it starting to get hotter out here in sun? No, probably his imagination, yeah.. had to be. Gulping, Balore smiled nervously at her but did his best to maintain the courage he originally had when waltzing on over. " Sorry I got here a bit late, had to take care of a few things." he said with a sincere tone of apology. After that he worked up the nerve to tell her what he thought. " You look n-nice. Easily the most beautiful woman on the beach." he said. He was trying to be charming but was it really working? He had no idea what sort of things he should say but he'd work it out as he went. He wasn't so spectacular, red swim shorts, no shirt. A guys swim suit didn't even look that interesting unless he like.. wore a speedo. His avatar was pretty tough looking however almost like the spartans in 300 he was pretty buff. Word Count: 555 us the gods with broken wings

KittyGrey | Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams we're on each others team | Ame, eyes closed, felt herself begin to drift off. If she hadn't managed to fall asleep, she would have been surprised with herself, able to relaxingly sleep when nerves raced up and down her spine. She didn't know what to expect from the day, but she was certainly happy that it was happening and she really couldn't wait, but even with her anticipation at an all time high, she had managed to doze into a light sleep. She would have wondered if it had been the heat that had made her do it, however, she wasn't out for long before she felt her eyes open wide as she quickly sat up upon hearing a voice in the close distance. 'Oh, I hope he didn't see me sleeping.' She felt a yawn come to her and forced it back as she didn't want him to think that she was bored already. She looked over to him, her eyes widening slightly, a small cough came through her as she stood, hopefully hiding it successfully.
She let her lips widen into a bright small as she watched him wave to her, both arms outstretched. She followed his actions as a giggle escaped her lips and she took a few steps forward to meet him. She shook her head and put her hands behind her back. "It's alright, don't worry about being a little late, I wasn't waiting long." She shifted her gaze to the side. Okay, so, that wasn't really honest and she tightened her lips, something she supposed she did when she lied or something, which she really wasn't used to. She let out a nervous laugh and felt one of her hands reach up over her head. "Actually, I got here about an hour ago, and I," She paused, a blush flushing her cheeks. "I fell asleep.. So technically, I wasn't even really waiting.." She shifted her gaze to him again, her cheeks seeming to flush harder than they had before. Why did she always feel that she needed to tell the truth? Not that it was a bad thing, but she definitely could have left out the falling asleep part anyways. Her mind stayed on that thought for a mere second before she felt her face turn red, and her body began to become hot.
His words made her want to cheer happily as he clearly approved of her bikini, even though she thought it was a bit over the top. She clapped her hands together and bowed, a sign of respect where she was from. "Th- Thank you!" Mentally, she began to freak out. 'Oh my god! Did he just say that I'm beautiful?! He- He thinks I'm beautiful!!' She let the thought slip as she brought her head up from her bow, she looked up his body. She decided that red looked amazing on that nice, toned body of his, like the guy who played as Spartacus in the television series she used to watch. She was surprised that she hadn't began to drool, that or fan girl nose bleed all over him. She had to force herself not to reach her hand out and touch his chest, though she found it was becoming a task much harder than she had ever imagined, but she would hold back, knowing that she would get her chance, hopefully anyways. When she finally reached his eyes, she felt herself bite her lip and nervously said, "You, look really good in red." Like normal, she wanted to run screaming, but instead, she stood, her hands again behind her back and blushed hard, smiling up at him. |

doesn't it feel like we're falling ❝ An amused smile appeared as he watched her try and climb to her feet and shake off what appeared to be dozing. He wanted to laugh but he decided that he would rather not embarass her by even making a mention of it. Now he only hoped that her dozing meant that he hadn't taken too long. If he had ruined this by being late he would probably be really irritated with himself. At this point though he decided that it was past the point for argueing with himself in his own head. " Alright, if you're sure. Though I'm willing to make it up to you somehow." he said scratching his head. So she was just as nice as she was with the group when they were alone. Good sign, some people changed when they were around others, it was good to know she was still the same person. " I guess I got lucky then. Still, anything you want, let me know." he said with a laugh. Looking out at the water he took it in for a few moments, this was the first time he had come to a beach in this world. Everything was much more beautiful now that he could fully experience it. He felt joy for the first time uninhibited by his own insecurities and limitations. It seemed like he was spacing off but he was definitely aware of what was going on around him. Closing his eyes he let out a short laugh. " It's been so long since I've been to a beach. I almost missed this feeling, the sun and the wind." he said with a grin. He was getting sentimental, next thing he knew he would be walking down memory lane with her which was probably not a good idea he thought. He wasn't watching but he could tell by her tone of voice that what he said flustered her. Then his compliment was accepted without the usual 'No I'm not' that he often heard. " I'm going to be quite honest here, I have no idea what people usually do on a date." he said turning to look at her once more. " But I was sort of thinking we could get to know one another." he said. Raising a finger in front of him as he spoke, he smirked suddenly. " I was sort of thinking we could ask each other a few questions. Nothing invasive, unless you're okay with that." he said with a laugh. Balore was already prepared with his own, there were things he wanted to know. Things like her name, Kitty was alright for now if she chose not to divulge it but they all had names he realized. He found it strange to be called by his username even if he was a role-player. " If you don't mind, I'll start if you're okay with it. I was hoping that maybe we could share basic info, like first names." he said. Word Count: 491 us the gods with broken wings

KittyGrey | Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams we're on each others team | Ame watched as Balore scratched his head, speaking and then laughing afterwards. The scene made her giggle lightly as her smile grew wide. She liked it when he laughed, it made her feel like her heart was about to burst, but in the best way possible. She tried to think of things that she could possibly need from him, though protection when they fought in battles was pretty much the only thing she could think of, that, or starting up the guild sooner than later, though she was never one to rush about with that sort of thing. She knew that it was hard work so she wanted to give him time, and saying the other thing, well, she would be in a ball of bashful blushes if she had said that, so she smiled and said, "If I think of anything, I'll let you know." She continued to smile widely and tilted her head lightly, her eyes closing from her large, white smile. She couldn't tell if it was the sun making her feel as though she was a hundred degrees, or if it was that sight of Balore, but she almost felt as though she would faint. Maybe it was nerves, or the fact that she was excited to begin a new sort of journey. She didn't quite understand it, but she was sure it was just the way she was feeling inside that was making her feel that way, though she knew she wouldn't actually faint at all.
When she opened them again, she saw that he was looking out onto the ocean. She turned her head for a moment to view it as well, but turned her head back to him once he had laughed. She nodded her head and put her hands behind her back. "Yes, it's been some time for me as well. I'm really happy that you decided on this place. I didn't even know it existed, which is strange since I try to keep up with information on new things that pop up." She felt her shoulders shrug as she turned her attention to the shore line once again. She felt the loose hair of her bun begin to blow as a warm breeze over took her. It was strange that the feeling felt much like her reactive heal, though she knew she hadn't cast it, but it felt just as nice against her skin, especially with the beating of the hot sun on her body. She turned her attention back to him as he began to speak once again. She listened to his words and felt her face flush as he said that he wanted them to get to know eachother. She hadn't been on a date before either, so she was in the same boat as him, but she figured that would be best as well, especially being in the kind of situation that they were in. She nodded, letting him know that she was alright with the idea he had given. She wanted to get to know him as well, so she smiled happily to him.
She nodded as he asked to go first and felt her eyes widen as he asked the question. She had gotten so used to everyone just calling her Kitty that she had almost forgotten that she had a real name. She nodded, her face flushing as she said, "Its, ah, Amaretsu, but I like just being called Ame." She blushed a bit harder than before and shifted her eyes to the left. "If it's not too much to ask, or doesn't make you uncomfortable, would you call me by my real name from now on? Uhm, only when we're alone, if you want to." She had wanted to ask him that question before he even asked her to go on this date, but she thought it may have been too forward, but his question made her feel happy and she wanted nothing more but to hear him say her name, her true name. She would wait for him to answer his own question before asking hers and once he did she would look at him. "Before I ask my question," she felt both of her hands reach forward as she looked down at his hand. She grabbed onto his wrist lightly and gently pulled him. "We should take advantage of the water while we're here." She blushed, and if he allowed it, she would pull him to the water's edge where she would let go of his wrist. She sat down where the sand was a little wet from the incoming water and put her legs out straight so that her feet were in the water. She enjoyed the simplicity of letting the waves push themselves up her legs and she found it easier to actually get in afterwards when the lower half was already wet.
Once they were seated, she would let out a soft yelp as a wave over took her and caused the bottoms of her bikini to become wet. She blushed and then let out a soft giggle. "Okay, so, I guess it's my turn. If you don't mind, I want to ask two questions. You can ask two questions next as well, if you'd like." She took in a deep breath and placed her hands to either side of her body, then she tilted her head towards him and let out her breath, feeling nerves take her spine for a roller coaster ride. "Uhm, how old are you, and, where are you from? Like, in the other world?" She raised her brow at herself and mentally shook her head. 'Where else would he think you meant, dummy?' She let out a soft laugh and shrugged her shoulders. "Of course, you knew what I meant." She took the hand that wasn't close to the side he was sitting on and put it over her back, placing it softly on the back of it while she let out another soft laugh. 'Smooth Ame, smooth.' Well, she really wasn't a smooth person, but she was trying her best to not look like a fool, though she wasn't sure if she was being very successful or not.

I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I'VE BECOME INDESTRUCTIBLE He grinned as she thought about his offer, it was a hard one to not to consider he imagined. It was clear that he aimed to please with most things he did and so he would most likely do whatever it was. That was the moment he realized that his mind was more of a pit than he realized and blushed as he repeated the words in his head. Perhaps it sounded more perverted than he realized however it seemed that she had not taken it in such a way. 'Real smooth.' he thought to himself as he stretched his arms into the air before placing both hands behind his head. This was going to be an interesting day for sure and things would never be the same afterwards he could tell. Hopefully the change was going to be a positive thing, he didn't need another cloud over his head.
"It's hard to keep tabs on everything in this world. So much going on I am not surprised it slipped by us. I only just learned that it was possible to make actual food the other day when you did so." he said with a laugh. The soggy mush that he had been surviving on did little to dampen his spirits though it seemed. "I figured that there isn't a person alive who doesn't like the beach. I guess except for those who can't swim." he said with cough afterwards. He was unsure how he was going to break that to her considering that was the main reason for even coming here. Would she laugh at him and his lack of basic skills or would should be alright with it? At the very least he was tall enough to wade out pretty far and be alright, he hoped.
Things were getting personal and that was exactly how he wanted them to be. What was the point of all of this if they remained hidden behind their screen names? He wanted to know the person that was behind the creation of the fox tail girl he saw before him. Pausing for a moment, he thought about her name and assumed that she might be from Japan with a name like that. "Ame.." he said aloud, rolling the name around on his tongue to get a feel for it. He loved it, actually, as it was one of those names that just sort of rolled off the tongue. There was a broad grin as he decided that fair was fair and he would give his own. "Unfortunately I wasn't as awesome of a name as yours. I'm Xavier." he explained with a chuckle.
She wanted to be called Ame and so that was what he would do. It would be strange at first as now it had more personal meaning behind it. Liking someone was a strange feeling, simple things felt like a lot more thought had to be put into them before they were executed. "It's not a problem really! I can simply start using it from now on, it suits you anyhow. Beautiful name for a beautiful person." he said nodding. Even his own cheeks had taken on a red tint as he let out another awkward cough to break up the short silence that followed his comment. However with her next comment it would all come crashing down around him, he couldn't swim!
"Err, I mean, if you want to. We could see how it is.. j-just not too far okay?" he said looking away nervously. He didn't want her to be able to see through him like this and know he was afraid. The water was a daunting challenge to those who did not know how to conquer it. He imagined she would help him if he asked for it but he felt that his pride wouldn't allow for that without a fight for sure. Following along behind her, every step felt like it was taking an eternity but within moments they would arrive at waters edge. As she sat down he did the same, dipping his own feet into the water. At the very least she was going slow with it all, he couldn't blame her though as the water was quite cool.
It was back to the questions now, he would pause to consider it for a moment before he gave his reply. "That is probably a question we should have asked sooner huh? I'm twenty-one." he replied with a laugh. Now that he thought about it all of this could have been horribly inappropriate when they considered real world ages. It honestly had never even occured to him when he was hanging out with Ame and Lavinia. "As for where I am from, I'm from Yorkshire." he said with a grin. He was given leave to ask two questions of his own, however one of them would mirror hers. "My turn. Where are you from? Annnnnnd, let's see, what were your hobbies before you ended up here with us?" he asked. | WORDS | 836. | TAG | kittygrey. | NOTES | Imgae from Pixiv Fantasia: Fallen Kings. | MUSIC | Alone Together - FOB. Ame nodded her head with his words. It was a pretty big place and there were still many mysteries to be unlocked, but she wished to know all of them. She had said once that she should have chosen to be a scholar and it was for that reason that she had said it. She loved searching up information on the new things around Elder Tale that popped up everywhere, but his words were true, many things often slipped past as she focused on things she felt were more important, but still, a beach, who would have thought? At the mention of her food, she looked up at him with a blush. She thought about the excitement on his face and she wondered what he would think about the food she had made especially for him. She would bring up lunch once they made up more of an appetite for themselves by swimming, although, with his next words and the cough that followed, she tilted her head. She wondered, briefly, why he had coughed after such a saying, though she let it slip her mind as she heard him voice her name.
The sound gave her shivers, ones that embraced her spine with joy. She felt her face flush with pink and she shifted her gaze to the sand in front of her bare feet. She then felt her head shoot up and a look of surprise embraced her face. "X- avier. Like X- men?!" She clapped her hands together excitedly and then forced them back to her sides. She blushed more now than before and shifted her gaze to the side, repeating his name. "Xavier." She thought his name sounded cool, and when she looked back up at him, she saw him in a new light. Not that he wasn't handsome before, but, with his true name, she found him much more attractive and that thought made her blush even harder. He seemed to have that effect on her, making her blush more and more and even beyond the point that she had thought she could. And with his next words ringing in her ears, she felt her ears get hot, actually, her entire body felt hotter than it could in the sun. She wondered what the feeling she felt was, but she wouldn't think to much into it, she would just look up at him with a wide smile. The flush of his own face made her feel a tingle, like goosebumps on her arms and legs. "I'm, so glad that you think that."
Who was this girl? She figured that if she had ever been called beautiful, she would break into a fit of laughter and say that she wasn't, but, with her new self, she had a different sort of confidence. She knew her avatar was good looking, but her avatar was her. How did she not know that she had this hidden person inside of her this whole time? She continued to look at him, wondering if it was actually him who had brought out this new person. It really wasn't until she had met him and Lavinia that she had found confidence in herself, not even with the two adventurers that she had met previously was she that confident. Balore was making her realize her true value, and she felt worthy of being who she was, she just hoped that after it was all said and done, if they managed to return, she could find this confidence in her other self as well. She hoped she could see Balore, no, Xavier as he usually was. At that moment, she found her next question, after he answered her previous two, and she answered his of course.
As she brought him closer to the water, she felt her head tilt again. The look on her face was confusion. 'Is he, afraid of the water?' But then why would he invite her to the beach, unless. She was about to burst out a question, until he answered hers. She tilted her head and laughed. "I suppose we should have, but, fate seems to be on our side. I'm also twenty- one." She smiled wide and then listened to his next question. Her eyes widened but before she could say something, he asked his questions. "This doesn't count as my question, but, Yorkshire.. England?" She tilted her head, but responded quickly to his questions. "I'm from Kyoto, actually, I live in Kyoto, I'm actually from Tokyo, Japan. And, my hobbies?" This question made her feel embarrassed but she would answer him. "Aside from gaming, I read, a lot, manga, novels, comics, you name it, I read it." She let out a soft laugh and continued. "I also draw and write. I've made some manga myself actually, but aside from that, I guess I'm a pretty boring person." She felt her cheeks turn slightly pink and she looked over to him. "You can believe it or not, but, I'm not actually a really social person on the other side. I don't even have any friends." She bite her lip, perhaps that was too much information but, she had felt that he needed to know. She looked away from him, a bit spaced out for a moment, but then continued to speak. "If you still want to continue this after hearing that, I pose that we must answer the questions that we ask each other, that way, we can ask more things. On that note, I have another two questions, I hope you don't mind."
She breathed in deep, not sure if she really wanted to ask her first question, but she wanted to know the answer. "So, first, uhm, what do you look like in the other world? You don't have to answer that if you don't want to, but, I pretty much look the same, except, I have glasses, and super long bangs that cover my face. And well, I wear things that look like boy clothes. If it weren't for the length of my hair, people would probably think I was a boy or something. I made a promise to myself though, that if I get back there, I'll cut my bangs, and try to wear more, flattering things, for lack of a better words." She looked away from him at that point. She figured it would hurt less if she turned to him and saw that he was gone or walking away, instead of facing him and seeing the expression on his face. With that thought, she let her second question burst out. "You don't know how to swim, do you?" With those words, she would look back over to him, her face filled with worry that he wouldn't be there anymore, and wonder at why he had chosen this specific location for their date, and a few other things that made her wonder about him.

I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I'VE BECOME INDESTRUCTIBLE It amused him that even she seemed to relate his name to the comic book character. He had heard it enough in his life given the circumstances, yet he was never bothered by such a thing. Everyone had to find something they knew to relate something to, this was no different. Still it made him think about the real world again which drew him away from reality for a moment. What was happening back there now? Was this their actual body, healed and empowered by this world? Were they all laying in a hospital somewhere now wasting away from the lack of movement? How his mind had taken such a grim turn he did not know, but her voice snapped him out of his revere.
There was a sigh of relief in his mind after she admitted her age. Thankfully she was right, fate decided to be pretty chill for once and keep things from being awkward. "I could have seen that going much worse. Deep down part of me dreaded the idea that you might be a bit too young." he said with a slight laugh. With that bit of relief he knew that he could proceed with this having a clear concsience and not feel like he was potentially doing something wrong. It was actually noticeable too how much he relaxed after she answered the question.
"Yes that would be correct, England." he said with a smile. Of course it was nowhere near as interesting as where she came from. You could see his eyes light up as she spoke and suddenly he had a myriad of questions for her that he hoped for answers to. "Kyoto, that is so awesome. I've always wanted to visit but I've never had the opportunity to pop on over. I've always wanted to travel." he said with a sort of fan boy adoration. Of course most people you spoke to their age had some sort of idolization of the country, he was no different. Leaning forward some, he put his hands on the ground as he seemed pretty interested in what she had to say.
She pretty much mirrored his hobbies which was another thing that amused him. He read more comics than manga, however, but it was still something they had in common. There was a sixty percent chance of catching him with a "Justice League" comic in hand at any given time. "If anything you're far from boring. You like comics and obviously love adventure as much as I do. You're like finding a unicorn, I think." he said sticking out his tongue at her. Her next statement seemed to baffle him though, there was no way what she said was true at all. Blinking at her he let out a slight chuckle before shaking his head.
"Well then when we manage to escape this world I will change that for you." he said with a laugh. He felt it was a nice gesture, letting her know that he would be there for her even after this world. He didn't really know how things would go between them but he hoped that Lavinia, Ame, and himself would remain friends even beyond this place. Although he had never told anyone his secret about all of this, the fact that he wasn't even trying to find a way out. He was trying to adapt to this world so that he could stay here forever. If the way out was a portal or door he would most likely not be coming with them if he had a choice. At least, that is how he felt right now, that could change down the road.
Raising a brow at her next question, he paused for a moment. He was awful at describing things but luckily he had also went with accuracy. "Mostly the same though my hair is more tame and dark brown. I have chin length hair but the rest is pretty much the same." he said with a chuckle. The only thing he couldn't mirror that belonged to this version of himself was the herculian muscle the sliders allowed him to have. Suddenly like that it was time for the final question which made him look down at the ground and blush. "No, I can't swim.." he said with a sigh. "I've never had to in the real world so I was never taught." he said.
"I didn't think about it before I chose this place. I don't regret it though, you seem at peace and that's something I am happy with. Still I probably shouldn't have been such a melon." he said with a short laugh. Shrugging his shoulders at her he decided that he would come up with another question. He knew the inevitable was going to happen and she would ask him into the water to show him and he was preparing for it. "I guess we should probably give it a go though, otherwise I will feel like I have only teased you with a good time." he said with a gulp. At least he was so tall that the shallows weren't so bad but the rest he would be worried about. One more question though wouldn't hurt.
"So do you work outside of the game?" he asked, curious what her answer might be. | WORDS | 886. | TAG | @xxx. | NOTES | xxx. | MUSIC | Godspeed - BT.

- Words - 684- Tags - Balore- Skills Used - ---- Notes - Lovin the new pic btw XD !!!! Ame sat quietly, nodding her head to his statement about him dreading it if she had been too young, when in reality, she dreaded him being too young. She didn't know about Lavinia, but she knew that she was a teenager at least. She knew that she was from America, and made a mental note to ask her for her age when she saw her again. She looked over to him with a tilt of her head and a smile to him as he spoke of travel. She loved the sound of his voice when he spoke about her home. She pictured him as a fan boy of sorts and the thought made her feel excited and she said well, now you have a reason to visit." She felt her cheeks line with the usual pink flush after saying something that made her feel embarrassed, but she knew that she would want to meet him if they ever returned there. She wanted to travel too, not that she didn't love her home, but she wanted to see the world and all of it's wonders. "Maybe I could visit you in England as well. I've always wanted to see Flamborough Head. Have you ever gone there?" Was it just a coincidence that she had done a project on Yorkshire in high school, probably, but it made her feel even more connected to him. That was also how she had known it was in England. She wondered if her knowledge of his home would impress him.
As she heard him speak, she felt her cheeks flush more and she looked up at him and let out a soft giggle. 'A unicorn?' She shook her head, she was no unicorn, though she kind of wished that she was. When he spoke his next sentence, she felt her eyes widen and her mouth drop, but she quickly shut it. She stared at him, wondering if he truly meant it, or if he was just trying to be nice. She shook her head mentally. 'He seems like the kind of person that wouldn't say things like that, if he didn't mean it.' She felt her bum shift over closer to him and when she was close enough, she would lay her head on his broad arm, not able to reach his shoulder. "Thank you, for saying that." She looked over the waters as she listened to him explain his appearance. She looked up at him, and pictured his face with chin length brown hair. She thought that he would look handsome like that and the dark hair would bring out his eyes even more. Then she felt her eyes wander down and as he spoke about not being able to swim, she watched his lips move. She felt her own part, but as he shrugged, she came back to life, shaking her head. "It's alright, I'll try my best to show you and if not, you can just throw me into the water." She let out a giggle at her words.
With his question she nodded. "Right now I waitress at a coffee shop in Tokyo, but I'm going to school to learn how to do programming. I want to make video games eventually, and you?" She looked up at him, and once he answered as would grab his hand, the one closest to hers, with her own and get up. "Now come on, let's go swimming! You don't want to tease me any longer do you?" She found herself winking at him and trying to pull him up, which would have probably looked extremely comical to anyone watching them near by, but she didn't care. She wanted to feel the water cover her body and jump through the rolling waves. It was one of her favorite things to do at the beach. When she had first went as a child she had jumped through the waves and played games with her brother, acting out a survival game they used to play on their computer together. She was too excited to hold it in any longer than they had. Coded By Saber of L33T T3@M Modified by KittyGrey

I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I'VE BECOME INDESTRUCTIBLE There was a short chuckle in reply- she was absolutely correct now he had a reason. Now all they had to do was figure out a way to free themselves from this game that many did not wish to play. The real question was how or was it even possible? He did not have long to dwell on such topics as she was already asking him more questions. Balore did his best to keep his full attention trained on her- after all this day was suppose to be dedicated to that exact purpose. "Have I ever been? Just the once if memory serves. My father was in the military, loved to teach me about historical battles." he said with a smile. While there was a smile on the outside, that was still one of the more painful things to be able to do for him.. using past tense about with his father.
While he had never truly known what love was for himself the look on her face made him wonder if could be the start. The flush she wore as he spoke about her being a rare find seemed to be genuine. While he didn't mean to sound so lame in saying it he truly meant it. Girls like her were one of a kind and you had to pay attention or else risk losing out on something. "No problem. I was conditioned to always speak my mind and tell the truth." he said with a smirk. Which was entirely true to a fault unfortunately- Balore never lied even when it could benefit him. "I'll hold you to that then. Be forwarned, I have a decently high strength parameter being a wolf hair." he said with a grin.
Programming?! That was exactly what he wanted to do at one point but realized he didn't have the patience for it in the real world. Instead he chose to spend his time building and diagnosing computers for others. He was good at what he did and was often able to fix most problems. "I build and repair computers for a living. It's something to pay the bills while I figure out what I want to do with my life." he said with a laugh. He didn't mean to sound so negative but outside of Elder Tale he had no idea who he was or what he wanted. This was the only world to him that made any sense at all and he was going to take advantage of that.
As she pulled on his hand he rose- it was quite comical that she was trying to aid him in moving. The size difference to the on looker would be quite comical for sure. Moving to the edge of the water with her he stared down at it the same way he would an enemy over his shield. He was sure that anyone who knew him long enough now would know that look. It was time for him to swallow his pride and do it. "I guess this will be a good thing. What's the worst than can happen right? I can't permanently die in this world so I should live life to the fullest without fear.." he said aloud. He was coaching himself aloud like a scaredy cat.
"You got me?" he asked, turning to beam down at her. When she was ready to jump, he would follow behind her. | WORDS | 569. | TAG | kittygrey. | NOTES | x3 I am really fond of it myself and your new template is so adorable. | MUSIC | P.S. I Love You - Gackt. MADE BY VEL OF GS

- Words - 1008- Tags - Balore- Skills Used - ---- Notes - Thank you! (about the template!) I like doing them XD They're so fun!!! Ame listened to him speak of his father, using the past tense. She wanted to ask, but she didn't want to put a depressing mood between them. She made a mental note to ask about his family later on, but for now, she really wanted to get to the fun part of their date. It wasn't a bad thing that they started with questions, but she figured if they asked too much about each other, there wouldn't be much for them to talk about later on. If everything between them went well, they would have plenty of time to learn more things about each other, especially with being in a guild together. With that thought, she tilted her head. She did have another question, but it wasn't really about him specifically, it was more a guild question. "Um, sorry to jump to business right now, but, I've been wondering. Guilds normally have a second in command and, well, I was wondering if you had given any thought to who you might promote?" Right now, it was only the three of them, him, her and Lavinia. Lavinia was really smart, and she had grown so much since they had met each other, so she wondered if he would chose her. Not that it really mattered, but she was honestly rather interested in the spot. She shook her head and hung it low. "Uhm, you don't have to answer that.. It's just been floating around in my head for a few days.." She let out a nervous laugh and then shook her head again. No more questions, no more business, just fun, from now on!
She smirked at him as he told her that he had been conditioned to tell the truth and she tilted her head. "That isn't a bad thing, you know. It's actually a really good quality! I'm sort of the same, though I kind of had to condition myself to do so." She smirked and let out a light giggle, even though it was true. She had had to learn a lot for herself, but she didn't mind, it was apart of who she was now and the reason why she was who she was. Once she had met her family, they had taught her more, but she didn't want to feel the rage she did when she was in the orphanage, with everyone talking about her and her parents. With his next words about him working on computers and how it pays the bills, she feels her eyes widen. "I think we might be a match made in heaven!" She let her face beam and laughed a little, trying to pass it off as a joke of sorts, though in reality, it seemed as though they would be a perfect couple, but only time could tell. She wondered if he had ever thought about doing programming, but she let the though slip as he stood and beamed down at her. 'Oh that face..' She let the thought slip in and she found herself blushing. He really was attractive with those bright blue eyes that made her want to melt and start to feel weak in the knees whenever she looked into them.
She felt herself let out a small giggle as he began to coach himself and she pulled on his hand, trying to drag him in further to the water. "We'll go slow, so don't worry. I won't let you drown, promise!" She matched his beam, looking up at him with a wide smile. "I've got you, babe." She let her voice chime an oldie from the real world and then giggled as she finished. Her face was still flushed, but perhaps more so now that she had let him hear her singing voice. It was a rare thing, for her to sing. She wasn't a bad singer or anything, but it was something she normally did when she was alone, really, no one had ever heard her sing. It embarrassed her to think of other people hearing her singing voice, and judging her, but she knew that he wouldn't. She thought of it as repayment for the day that she had walked in on him singing a tune, wondering if they did a duet, would their voices go together? She wanted badly to ask him to sing with her, and see what it would sound like but, she mentally shook the thought away and just continued to drag him along until she was chest deep in the water. She smiled, looking up at him. "We'll stop here, since it should be deep enough for you to swim, but be able to reach the sand just in case." She smiled and looked down to see how deep he was and the water would be just above his chiseled ab line.
She couldn't help but stare at the sight of the waves pushing themselves against him. Oh, how she wanted to be those waves at that moment. She felt her lips part and she moved in a little closer to him. "Okay, so, um.." Her heart was pounding, she couldn't take her eyes away from the sight of his body. She tried to force her mind out of it, but instead she reached out and put her hands palm down where the water hit him. She felt her breath become heavy as she continued to stare, lost in the sight and feeling of his body. 'Ame, earth to Ame!!! Snap out of it!!!!' Her subconscious screamed at her, but she couldn't force herself away from it. She knew that this body wasn't actually his, and for some reason began to think about what his actually looked like and if she would ever get the chance to see it. Was she become a closet pervert?! She didn't realize the large wave coming in behind her until it hit her in the back and her own body was pushed into his. She felt her eyes widen as she looked up to him, her face a pink flush. I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I'VE BECOME INDESTRUCTIBLE There was a slight pause as he waited for her to speak- when she mentioned business somehow he knew he would dread it. This always came up in guilds, this was not his first, and he never know how to answer the question. They were a team of three founders but if he chose a second in command, how would he go about it? Both of them were helpful to him, without them he would not be as far as he was today. Still he was also aware that in his absence someone had to act as commander. His expression became rather pensive as he thought about it- it was clear that he was not going to just blow it off.
"I've actually given this thought before. My dilemna is that I don't want to risk alienating either of you with my choice. A tough position since you are both responsible for where I am now." he said with a half hearted smile. He needed to learn to harden his heart at times and use logic rather than emotion. That was a work in progress that he hoped would never overwhelm his better judgement. "The problem is that Lavinia didn't seem to have prior knowledge of the game so I am hesitant. On the other hand- the fact that we're here on a date might make my choice of promoting you seem like favoritism. I feel like perhaps we should all discuss it together, maybe?" he asked with a hopeful expression.
At the very least the date was going well even if the guild might immediately reach it's first rough spot. He chuckled softly as she told him that it was a good quality, yet it always seemed to screw him over. No matter how many opportunities he had to get ahead he always finished last due to being unable to step on others. "I guess so. Sort of gimps me I feel like sometimes when I stand to gain. Then again if you have to lie to gain something it's probably not worth having I feel." he said with a nod at his own comment. That was exactly how it had been put to him when his father taught him that lesson. Slow and steady was how men like him won the race, there was no need to rush everything.
"Hah." he said with a smirk at her comment. A match made in heaven? They would have to see about that as the true test of things was yet to come. She had only known his fun loving side- the side they saw when they adventurered. She knew nothing of his baggage or the darker part of him that seemed to lose it's self in the excitement of combat. He still wondered if he was playing the right class at times but his gut instinct told him that he had chosen wisely. "I surely hope so. I can use all the assistance I can muster, divine or otherwise." he said with a grin. He still felt he did not stand a chance with a woman such as her.
It was hard not to smile when she bore so much of her soul on the outside. He found the expression consumed his entire face, that goofy smile of his. Her voice seemed to reach deep into his very being, bringing out the happier part of him. "I'll hold you to it. I imagine it's a scary thing to drown in this game as I'll ressurect and remember what it was like." he said with a slight shudder. He had yet to die since the catastrophe began and he wished to keep it that way. Wading further out into the water, his nerves started to become shot as he thought about it. Still he had to steel himself for the sake of this date. Balore could show no fear as his positon as their tank, guild leader, and potential boyfriend? He had to be stronger here than the water.
Yet for all his psyching up nothing could prepare him for what nature would do next. As the waves rolled in, Ame was pushed towards him, their bodies colliding together. At first he thought nothing of it as his arms wrapped around her waist to keep her from falling out of reflex. As his mind caught up however his face turned a crimson shade of red as he opened his mouth to speak. Almost nothing came out at first even though he had a million thoughts going in his mind. "I, uhm, well.. errr..." he stammered. The entire time he did not let go, he had not even thought about doing so.
This was the closest he had been to her or anyone really. He noticed himself watching her lips, the lines of her face move with each expression. Little things you never noticed that you enjoyed. It invoked that movie moment where you felt like you had to kiss the other person. Yet he felt that this was a hasty though- he had to consider the potential outcome of doing so. Instead he sort of hovered there, his expression would show he was considering something like it but seemed confused and hesitant. | WORDS | 871. | TAG | @xxx. | NOTES | All I can think of is the song "Kiss the Girl" haha. | MUSIC | A Rose for Epona - Eluveitie.

- Words - 762- Tags - Balore- Skills Used - ---- Notes - Hehehe, do what you will XD I won't mind if you want to wait though! Ame listened as Balore spoke to her about her question. She nodded and smiled to him in full agreement. "You are completely right. I'm sorry that I asked such a question in this situation. It was one of those spur of the moment things, but anything pertaining to the guild, should be discussed with all of it's members here." She paused, holding her hand up and looked around. "I don't see her anywhere." She giggled, trying to brush off the awkward moment she felt she had brought on. She was a fool for asking something like that, but it was true that it had been on her mind, and sometimes her timing really sucked, but the deed had been done, so hopefully they could move on from it and speak about it on their next guild meeting or whenever they were both around Lavinia. Hearing his next words, she nodded in agreement. "I feel that that is true. Most people lie to gain things, but once their lie is found out, they usually end up losing the things they have received, not that I've had the experience personally, I, like you, maybe am too honest for my own good sometimes, but I think what you say is true. Lying will only get you so far, until karma takes you down." She nodded, fully believing what she said to be true.
She found herself blinking, her face flushed as she realized what she had said, but him laughing at it made her think that her plan had worked, and she found herself laughing with his next words. She shook her head and jokingly widened her eyes. "I can't imagine you need any help at all." She smiled, but her lips stiffened with his next words and she felt herself shudder. She had forgotten that if you died, you came back, but, would you really remember everything that had happened before your death. She supposed so and shook her head. "That would truly be terrifying. I would never let you suffer that!" She felt her breathing become heavy with the thought of remembering death, feeling th pain as you died and remembering it afterwards. She wondered if she could handle such a thing and how long the pain would subdue. Hopefully it went away quickly, as something like that could scar someone for life if they were weak minded, such as herself. The thought alone sent shivers running up her spine, but she didn't want the thought to linger, it was time to take her mind off of death and put it on living, though she wouldn't expect what was to come.
As Ame pulled him closer into the water, she could feel that was becoming anxious. His nervousness made him quite attractive to her, like she was seeing a side of him she didn't think existed in the strong guardian. She they waddled out into the water, the waves pushing her against him, she, herself, felt nervous and as she looked up at him, seeing his cheeks a crimson red, she felt her face follow his in color. She realized now that his arms were around her waist and their bodies were pressed together. She couldn't speak, she wanted to, but nothing came out and after hearing him stutter on his own words, she knew he felt the same. Was this the moment? Would she receive her first kiss? This sort of thing always happened in the movies, it was supposed to be a magical moment, but she felt afraid. Afraid that he would kiss her, and realize that she had no experience even though he had said that he didn't have any either, or, what if he didn't like it, realized he didn't like her?! She felt her breath become hardened as she continued to stare up at him with wide eyes. She watched his facial expression, the way he looked at her lips as he considered something in his mind, but looked confused. She felt her lips part, to say something, but the shut quickly. She didn't want him to let go but she knew they couldn't just stand there. She had to say something, anything. "Nature, huh?" She raised her brow at herself. What the hell did she just say?! She wanted to facepalm herself so hard but held off on it. She had all the time in the world to do that later, but for now, she would just let out a soft, confused giggle and tilt her head, smiling up at him. What else could she do, really? I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I'VE BECOME INDESTRUCTIBLE It seemed to last for an eternity, that moment where they were both so close together. However knowing Balore he would not seize upon an oppotunity granted to him by nature. He did not truly know if now was a good time, not when there was so much to learn about her yet. Then again could letting a moment like this pass also offend her? He considered the outcome of the two scenarios before he realized that he had been holding on to her the entire time. His skin flushed as he did in fact go for it. It was clear that he was nervous but he felt like this was the only time this might happen. Turning red, he closed in for a kiss, pressing his lips against hers.
Well it was definitely something alright, though he couldn't figure out how he felt. Underneath all of the anxiety from this, he was sure that he had some sort of thought on it but he couldn't access it. This was considered magical to some, to him he just hoped that he didn't mess up right now by attempting to kiss her.
"I-Indeed." he stammered as he looked back down to her. He put on a smile even though he felt he was making this more awkward than it had to be. Truth be told he was terrible at this and he knew it unfortunately. Clearing his throat he looked around himself at the waves rolling in. "Do you think I am going to be able to figure this out with all the waves?" he asked sounding a bit disappointed. He'd never even figured out how to stay afloat in calm water let alone restless water. Even if he had faith in Ame, he wasn't so sure about himself.
Real smooth, Balore. Move on from the kiss that quickly she'll think you're not interested. Now he remained silent to give her a moment to respond to what just happened. Was she going to mention it or was she going to say nothing and move on? Honestly he was unsure what there was to say about any of it. "I'm uh.. sorry if that wasn't what you wanted.." he said suddenly, though very quietly. Yep, awkward. | WORDS | 374. | TAG | @xxx. | NOTES | -_0 Dying, but didn't wanna take any longer to post. | MUSIC | xxx.

- Words - 638- Tags - Balore- Skills Used - ---- Notes - -patpats- Don't push yourself! Looking up at him, her face flushed pink, Ame watched, searching his expression, wondering what would happen. She felt her breathing become slightly heavier as she suddenly became away of the feeling of his hands on her waist. The feeling sent shivers of, what were they pleasure? Up and then back down her spine, hidden ones that would not make themselves known on the outside. She became aware of her hands, planted palm down on his chest and the beating of her heart in her own. She felt her lips part and she felt as though they were lost in some sort of fantasy world, oh, wait, they were, but it was different than the fantasy world around them, no, she was sure if they stood there for an eternity, not letting go, then she would be okay with it. However, the two, there, standing in the ocean, close together, it didn't last. What felt like an eternity of waiting, for her anyways, was closing in on her.
She watched as Xavier lowered his face, watched as he came closer to her. To her, the world seemed to be moving in slow motion. The waves hit her body in a caress and she breathed in lightly as she felt her eyes close. She felt pressure on her lips, a soft pressure and put her own pressure on his. The kiss didn't last very long, but she felt breath taken from it. As he pulled his face away, she felt her eyes open slowly, her lips tingled with the sensation of his. She swallowed hard, wondering what he was thinking, had she done alright? It was just a peck, could you even mess on of those up? She hoped not. She watched his lips form into a smile and she felt her tongue escape from her mouth and lick her lips softly, then disappear back inside. She followed his suit, feeling her lips push themselves into a smile and she giggled lightly as he spoke about her weird nature thing. 'Indeed.' The thought passed as she heard him clear his throat. She felt her flush stay with the sound and she found herself hoping that he still liked her, but with his words, she felt a soft smile take over her face. She nodded. "You'll do fine."
Ame was about to take a step back, honestly she was, but his words made her raise her brows as her eyes widened. 'What.. she had wanted?' The girl was an open book, she rarely knew what she wanted, but at that moment, hearing him say that, seeing his face. She slid her hands up his chest, over his shoulders and around his neck, pulling herself she let her lips push themselves onto his. She let them linger there a moment longer than he had, her eyes closed. She slid herself back down, feeling her feet touch the sandy ocean floor below him and she tilted her head with a shy smile. "Well, uh, now we're even!" She let out a small giggle and bit her lip nervously but took a step away from him. "Now, should we get to swimming or?" She asked, eying him curiously. She had been pretty bold with that second kiss and wondered how he had taken it. Then her eyes widened and she brought her hand to her hair piece. "Oh shoot, sorry, just a second!" She pulled out her hair piece, untying the ribbon and let it fall down, then opened her interface and stuck them in her inventory. Closing it, she dipped her head under the water, pushing her hair back as she came up from it. She sighed happily. "Aaah~ That's much better." She let out a smirk and waited for him to let her know he was ready, for their swimming lessons!
