[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]VRAYNE [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Reim Bloddwedd [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: Twenty-one [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Pansexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Kido Tsubomi, Kagerou Project (Mekakucity actors) [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Vrayne [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]Black eyes, dark green hair and fair skin-tone, Vrayne (pronounced as Rain) has a rather tomboyish appearance with a height of five feet and six inches for a character with the age of twenty one. Most of her skin is hidden beneath her green cargo pants with the left side of the pants rolled up to her knee and wears a purple hoodie paired with a red jacket underneath, zipped high enough to cover the whole of her neck. The hood is more often worn than not. Her eyes are sharp and black and she tends to speak while hiding her mouth with her high-zipped collar to keep the emblem on her tongue from being seen. Despite the character’s boyish demeanour, she wears her hair long and sometimes in a ponytail especially when in battle, only leaving it down when she’s too lazy to fix it. In real life, Reim has a short jet-black hair, almost cut to resemble a male’s hairstyle and with a slightly masculine physique, five feet and one inch at height with a semblance almost like that of an Asian, what with her mother being half-Japanese and half-Welsh. Her eyes are squinted and as Reim tend to stay at home rather than spending her time outside, she often just wears her pajamas. If she does, by force, walk out of her house, however, she tries to put on a smart-casual attire. One that mostly consists of black button downs and dark jeans paired with the nearest pair of sneakers she could reach. You could almost say that while Reim is, in a way, alike her in-game character, she attempts to win back what she doesn’t have upon making Vrayne (i.e the long hair and height. Especially the height though she doesn’t like “giants”, so she left it at five feet and six inches.) [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Quite an introvert, Vrayne, both in real life and in-game can be a bit too quiet. Not that she is shy or anything, but rather she simply prefers silence and being alone. She doesn’t mind engaging into party-runs and joining them for a while though, as her class obviously requires a bit (or a lot) of support and is best suited in long-range battles. Vrayne still tends send herself into adventures on her own, however, a never-dying thirst to venture the unknown burning bright and clear deep within her. As a courtesan, she can have quite the smooth tongue when she tries despite being a quiet one, quick to win the attentions of the People of the Land to ask for extra informations for quests and even discounts at times. She believes that it is because of this that she is able to complete a few quests alone despite having such a low defense and health. She’d been told before that she can be childish as well especially once she’s around with the people she is familiar with and though food tasted bland in Elder Tale in the first few days, weeks, months, she had with her quite a huge appetite anyway. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Reim was born in a small family as an only child, her parents always too busy with work, work, work to spend time with her and eventually that resulted with a huge wall between her and her parents. Epecially with her father whom she later found out had another family. But that’s a different story to be told when the time comes. Having entered the rebellious stage at a young age, Reim became a – in Japanese terms – hikkikomori at age twelve which continued up until today, days spent away sleeping, watching TV shows, reading books and most especially playing games. Her parents have basically given up on her after years of attempting to pull their daughter back to the "outside world", leaving her to do whatever she wanted. It's not much of a sob story now that Reim thought about it, but after having locked herself away from other people, she had almost lost the ability to converse with other people and had it not been for video games which soon grew to be more and more realistic as years passed by, she doubted she would even remember how to speak. She learned about Elder Tale through a friend she met in an online shooter game, the said friend recommending it after they’ve soon found the FPS game dull and boring after playing for so long and insisting that they try a different kind of game. Reim eventually agreed, never imagining that something absurd like this would ever happen… [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]

However, rather than discharging entirely on the target on contact, the lightning remains as static energy. For 30 seconds at about 3-second intervals, the electricity arcs away from the target to damage and stun any other nearby enemies. As a result, it serves as a slight deterrent against defensive formations. Although this spell has a fairly long cooldown time, it has a fast casting speed and is often favored for use at the beginning of a battle. Because the target used to channel the electricity is not damaged by the spell, many Sorcerers also tend to cast it on themselves or a teammate as a supportive offense. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 45 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Transcription: Scribes are known for their ability to copy and examine documents carefully. This allows them to obtain the Adventurer skill [Mythic Script] as a Beginner-level skill without it taking up a skill slot. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. If the character can already use grimoires through racial or class bonuses, grimoire damage increases by 10%. [attr="class","skill"]Allure: A toggle skill that can be used anytime in a conversation with People of the Land. It allows the Courtesan to smooth over any mistakes and retain the target's attention. Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels. Its quality depends on the level of the materials used to make it, but even still, it's just about as durable as a thin piece of paper. Quill Pen (Level 1): A feather pen that has been refined by Scribe B. Franklin so that its writing is fairly consistent. Much as a blacksmith's signature tool is the hammer and a tailor the needle, this can be considered the scribe's main tool. The Quill Pen is not used up during a craft. |
