Armor which has been forged after tireless days of hard work and research done by the Funeral Parlor. Scaled armor is formed out of an array of tiny pieces, or scales (and that is where the name derives from). The pieces, or scales, are formed and welded together in such a way which increases flexibility for the user while keeping the same level of protection and weight as an equivalent piece of Light Armor does. The armor is much easier to maintain than plated or leathered armor, as the damaged pieces can be removed and replaced by a skilled blacksmith. In addition to that, the armor is slightly modular, allowing the user to "personalize" the armor by increasing or decreasing the amount of surface area they wish the armor to have (Ex. A full sleeve of scaled armor, or just half-of a sleeve). Anyone intending to craft this armor, however, must know the dimensions of the person they are crafting for, as the number of scales required in the armor will be proportional to those dimensions. Cloth can be attached underneath the metal to make it more comfortable to the wearer.
Explanation: I feel that this armor is needed because there are plenty of additional types of armor out there that can be made that we just haven't thought of yet. It is also armor which can benefit players who like to remain flexible and agile without them risking their health like cloth armor does. Yet, I have not made it easy to obtain and it is actually quite expensive to make because it is complex, and the level requirement is also there because of that. This armor could also be appealing to other players in general because it is a lot easier to maintain and it doesn't have to be completely replaced after combat. Though, that easy maintenance must be kept up. The armor is not made of plates but of scales, and they can still be damaged. Should one not maintain this armor, it will become compromised and they could lose the entire piece of gear.
I have also kept in mind the Blacksmith's skills while creating this armor. Due to it having a high-level of easy maintenance, repairs will most likely need to be done on the fly in the field. The Blacksmith's Speed Forge skill can do this, which makes having a blacksmith in the party handy should this armor become popular.
Aside from the research claim, I wish to have this piece of armor added to my inventory with the specs listed below should my claim be approved. In my thread, I not only researched and crafted the armor, but I reforged it to suit my own personal needs of it.(Yes, I'm needy. I'm sorry.)

Equip the item?: Yes [Chest Piece]

This armor has been modified to have additional scaled plates on the upper arms, protecting the user's biceps from harm. This armor has also been polished and cleaned, exchanging the sooty black color for a smooth, glossed silvery-grey.
[Reforge Effect: Defense Increased by 35%, Movement Speed increase 25%, Reflect 10% of Physical Damage
