He will never forget his younger brother or abandon him. Yet Evan can't stop their fate on being separated after they have been adopted by different families. Luckily, he waited for the upcoming release of a popular MMORPG called Elder Tale in UK. He didn't play it before when he was in Miami, but he was happy to buy it for both of them so they can be together even in online. He even made his brother's character along with his own to not only choose the right classes for both of them as well as to name and design them after when they are born, but he was able to recognize his brother's avatar in the game without asking anyone about him in-game.
But just as the brothers are happy about Elder Tale, their computer screens blacked out and both of them fell unconscious. As they did, they unknowingly transported away from the orphanage.
----
Then with his consciousness regained, Evan slowly opened his eyes as he wondered why he got so sleepy earlier. But before he knew it, his eyes widened that he wasn't in front of a screen anymore, but in some kind of forest. "Wha-Where am I?! Where did the orphanage go?! And more importantly, where's Aric?!" He panickly scanned the forest for any signs of his brother, but so far, nothing. "No way... Aric..." Evan slumped down to the ground, shocked that he lost his own little brother and worried about his sanity as all his previous years was yelling and violence from his former father. Because of his own brother became mentally fragile, he would never forgive him for that incident and with his mother fell in the hands of his father's bloody hands, Evan felt that Aric was his only family left to protect him no matter what.
But just as he gave up hope, he looked at his hands and was surprised that he wore blue gloves, which he never wore earlier as with navy blue pants and bronze boots he saw next. Then upon he saw his hair bangs being orange-red rather than his brown hair, Evan then said, "I didn't dye my hair earlier. What's going on?!" And before he knew it, a menu popped up right in front of his face, startling him even further. "N-No way, a pop-up menu a-and a quickslot?!" As he looked around the menu in panic, he saw a portrait from his status window, which is a young teen like him with orange-red spiky-hair like his own and yellow eyes, which he reminded him of somebody until he realized the connections about his changes. "N-No way... I've became my own avatar?!"
Upon he looked around his surrounding one more time, he then deduced where he was and said to himself, "If that's true... That means I'm in the world of Elder Tale. It must have happened after that new patch was installed after I installed the game and registered our characters. But since we logged in at the same time..." Solar quickly gasped as he realized this and continued, "Then Aric must be here as Lunar!" With that said, he knew what to do first in this new world: Find his brother and discover how the heck did they got here. "But before that, what am I stepping on anyway?" Solar thought before he noticed something on his feet.
When he did, he was horrified that he stepped onto a snake that is the size of a rock, which he saw a HP bar for it. "G-Garden Snake... A-And it's Level 3... Not good!" Despite he don't know where he was right now, he knew this world was set to Elder Tale gameplay rules and if he got hit by a Level 3 monster when he was Level 1, he will be killed in a matter of seconds. Thinking quickly, he pulled out his sword and swung it like a bat to swatted the snake away. And when he saw the snake quickly recovered due to his attack was too weak due to his level, Solar quickly pulled out a skill menu and after a few seconds of searching, he "clicked" one of the skills and said, "This better work like in Elder Tale game along with other MMORPGs! Shuffle Windmill!"
With his body now spinning around with both swords pulled out are outstretched, he made horizontal saw blade slashes to the snakes, knocking it out once more before he ran away from it. And with his good athletic abilities, he was able to jump from branch to branch, which he managed to flee from the Level 3 Garden Snake successfully. "First rule of MMORPG: If you deal with a monster that it's level is higher than mine and thought I can't beat, run away without any second thoughts. Now to find Aric!" With that said, he jumped off from the tree branch and ran off to start searching for his younger brother.

Solar ran and ran around the forest in an attempt to find his young brother. But so far, he didn't made any progress. And what's even worst was that he didn't knew how will he get back to his old world now. But then again, if they did, they will be separated forever. With that thought, Solar might have thought that being transported into this game might have been a sign to not get separated or something. But again, he just thought he was just exaggerating. And just as he was about to skip that subject for now, he felt a burn on his leg, which he became startled by it and looked down to see 3 dull green slimes below him.
He was confused at the slimes at first until he saw their HP bar, which was no surprise to him since he got used to the menu. "Dull Green Slime and three of them are all Level 1." Upon he saw this, Solar smiled at this. If he wanted to find his brother without being killed by a monster or two, he should try to grind for a while to level up as he pulled out his swords and proceeded to slash three of the slimes, which caused them to get angry at him. "Yeah, that's right! Come to Solar!" After he provoked the monsters, he opened his skill menu and "clicked" onto a skill icon as he prepared to make his first attack. "Mirage Dealer!"
Using his two swords, he then made a X-shaped slash and threw it to one of Dull Green Slimes. And without any warning, Solar transported himself behind the slime he attacked, which he was impressed as he made more slashes to it before it exploded into items and gold. "Awesome! Who's next?" His question was answered when one of the remaining slimes managed to attack him from behind by slapping his back with it's acid, which caused Solar to scream in pain due to the burn. "Hey, no cheating!" Then he "clicked" another one of the skills and shouted, "Shuffle Windmill!" With both of his arms stretched out while he gripped his swords tightly, he then spun around from where he stood and created horizontal saw blade slashes before he threw them to the slimes, which made them injured a little as Solar stopped spinning.
"Not bad if I say so myself." He said before he noticed his skills he used now has a countdown that said 8. "So both of these skils have 8 seconds of cool down, huh? Well, maybe I can beat these things without them for now." Solar then dashed onto one of the slimes and slashed it several times with his remarkable speed. As a Swashbuckler, he can attack very quickly, but he has less DPS than the Assassin class that his brother used. Nevertheless, he liked it because it has debuff skills as well as it's speed, which was his preferred build for the game. Then attacking the other slime next before he attack the other one, he kept attacking both of the monsters before both of them exploded in gold and items, much to Solar's relief. "Nice. Just the way I like it. But no time to celebrate, I still need to find Lunar before the sun goes down." With that said, he returned his swords back into his sheath and head off to continue his search.

Running into the woods again, Solar looked left and right, desperately tried to find his brother. Yet once again, there was no sign of him as he stopped due to exhaustion. "This is getting ridiculous! Aric could be anywhere. Or maybe he's still in the orphanage?" Upon he thought of that scenario, he slapped himself and said, "No way! He logged in the same time as I do. I knew he's here!" As he said that, two more Dull Green Slimes slithered into the ground while a boar joined in. When he saw these monsters, Solar decided to check their HP bar to see if he can fight them as well. "The Dull Green Slimes are Level 1 and Level 2 while the Young Pittered Boar is Level 1. They will do for now. I still need to get used to fighting with two swords."
He pulled out his Starter Long Swords once again and charged onto the Level 1 slime before he made two simultaneous slashes to it. Then focusing on the Level 2 slime, he made multiple slashes to it before he "clicked" onto a skill in his skill menu and shouted, "Mirage Dealer!" He then made an X-shaped slash with his swords once again and teleported himself behind the slime before he made two more slashes to it. Yet, it wasn't enough to defeat it as not only the slime slapped him both on his arms, but also the Level 1 slime slapped him on his leg before the boar tackled him on his stomach, which he dropped his knees in pain. "Whoa, two hits from two monsters and two hits from a Level 2 slime and yet, it chipped off some of my HP. Looks like higher level monsters than me are no joke. I have to defeat all three of them before it will be the death of me!" Thinking fast, he dodged another tackle from the boar while he took another slap from the slime and made more slashes to the boar before he noticed that the countdown of his last used skill disappeared.
"Finally! Mirage Dealer!" He shouted as he made another X-shaped slash to the slime before he transported behind it and made another slash with both of his sword, which he managed to kill it as it exploded in items and gold. Then, focusing on the last slime and the boar next, he then shouted, "Shuffle Windmill!" With his arms stretched out, he made horizontal slashes as he spun around, which hit both of the monsters before Solar finished executing that skill and made more slashes to them until they exploded in items and gold. "That's that. Now to continue my search..."

A few hours later, Solar continued his search for his little brother. Yet so far, he didn't found him yet, much to his dismay as he slumped down on the ground and groaned, "Great, this isn't like some other games I've played. I'm about to lose my breath just going around here just to find Aric." Then, he heard some rustling sounds behind the bushes. Thinking there might be another group of monsters once again, Solar about to ready his weapons until he saw the identity behind the bushes, which is actually a little rabbit. Curious, he looked at it's HP bar and said, "It's a Frenmic Rabbit and it's Level 1. And it somehow looked scared. Hmm... Maybe I should get some help for a change."
If he remembered correctly, his Animal Trainer subclass allowed him to befriend any monster in a limited time at his level. With this, he used Scout by approaching the Frenmic Rabbit carefully and said, "Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I just need your help, that's all." Upon it saw no hostility, the Frenmic Rabbit approached to him and sniffed his stretched out hand, which his Scout skill managed to befriend it no problem. "Thanks. Now, I'm looking for my brother. He a little bit smaller than me and he has silver hair and silver and blue outfit." Unfortunately, Solar was dismayed that the rabbit didn't know where, but his spirits returned when it told him by gestures that it did noticed something not far away from where they are right now. "Can you take me there?" He asked to his new friend, which it nodded in agreement before they left to find where the rabbit noticed something.

With his new furry friend, Solar continued his search as he followed the Frenmic Rabbit he befriended on the trail of hopefully his brother. However, a few hours later, they were already in the deeper area of the forest as the Swashbuckler became a little impatient at this when he saw the sun was already setting. "We've been through these woods for many hours now. Are you sure he was here?" The Frenmic Rabbit nodded yes, somehow sure that his brother was here. However for Solar, he wished he brought something that belonged to Aric. But since he was sucked into the game world without warning, he didn't brought anything except the weapons he just started.
And when he looked around the area one more time, he then sighed and said, "It's official, he's not around these parts. Maybe I should try to find a nearby town right now, it's getting late." But before he can thank the Frenmic Rabbit for it's help, he suddenly heard a faint scream, which he was startled for a little bit. "What was that?" He then tried to listen closely to the scream and when he did, it appeared once more as he gasped in realization. "It came from the west. Come on." He then followed the source of the scream as his furry friend followed and when he did, he thought, "Although it's vague, I recognize that scream pattern somewhere."
But before they can even get to source, three shadowed figures jumped out from bushes, which started them. "What the?!" Upon taking a closer look at these creatures, it revealed that they are two green and one red snakes, which according to the HP bar, they are called Garden Snake. However, Solar was more horrified at their levels. "Level 4?! Oh no, with my level currently 1, I can't take them at once!" Not forgetting the Frenmic Rabbit, he grabbed it before he jumped above the snakes to escape. "Hang on! We're getting out of here!" Even he quickly learned how to fight with two swords, he knew a golden rule on video games, which was that if he encountered a high-leveled monster than him, run away.
But it was easier said than done when two more snakes appeared right in front of him, much to his dismay. "Great, I must have walked into the Garden Snakes' territory! I need to figure out how to get out of here, fast!" As he slowly back away from the snakes, he pulled out his skill menu to see if there was anything to help him. But to his dismay, the skills he chosen is fitted for offensive, not escaping. However, as he stopped at the Mirage Dealer skill icon, he remembered something about it, namely that it can allow him to teleport him behind his targets before attacking them from behind. And if he can use it against these snakes, maybe he can escape afterwards.
Not want to have second thoughts about this, he quickly tapped the skill and pull out his swords with the Frenmic Rabbit on his shoulder before he said, "I hope you can trust me on this, little guy. This is our only way out. Mirage Dealer!" With that said, he made an X-shaped slash to the snakes and as Solar predicted, the snakes only dealt a little damage, but allowed him to teleport from behind before he made another set of slashes to the snakes. And with his path cleared, he escaped from the snakes' clutches and headed to the source of the fainted scream at the same time, which he prayed that his brother was there.

After he and the Frenmic Rabbit escaped from the higher leveled Garden Snakes, Solar panted in exhaustion as he looked at his status at the holographic-like menu right in front of him. "At least my HP is fully healed. I can't say the same with my MP, though..." He thought before he scanned the area to make sure the snakes aren't following him. "And the snakes aren't following us as well. That's one less thing to worry about." He then turned around and saw the rabbit, somehow traumatized from encountering the snakes, which made Solar a little guilty on what he did just to find his brother. To make up for it, he gathered some leaves from the nearby bushes and gave them to the Frenmic Rabbit. "Here. It's an apology for dragging you into this."
Upon it saw the leaves and Solar's kind face, the rabbit slowly accepted them and started to eat them as the Swashbuckler smiled at this. However, he stopped upon he remembered about the faint scream before he escaped from the snakes. Solar knew that resembled a lot like Aric's, but he can't tell if he was really nearby. And just as he was about to look around to check once more, the Frenmic Rabbit's ears pointed up, somehow heard something not far away from it, which Solar noticed. "What is it? Is it Aric's?" The rabbit didn't have time to reply as it followed the faint scream, which Solar grabbed some more leaves from the bushes before he followed it in joy. "Good! Just keep on following it and I'll give you more leaves for you to snack on!"
Although that was one sentence he prayed he didn't say, but he was completely overjoyed that not only Aric might be nearby, but he made a right decision on asking the Frenmic Rabbit a favor and he knew he had to give it back somehow. Regardless, he knew one thing: Aric was here in Elder Tale.

Solar continued to run and run as he followed the Frenmic Rabbit he befriended to hopefully his brother, which he didn't stop to rest or to be distracted as darkness started to cover the forest. "Man, this is becoming a workout, does it?" He muttered as he continued running. All of the sudden, he heard a struggle not far away from him. "Oh no, it sounds like whatever scare Aric must have attack him!" Worried, he ran and ran to his brother's location, but the Frenmic Rabbit somehow stopped and saw something. With it's expression turned into horror, the rabbit turned away from Solar and left, much to his surprise as he said, "Hey wait! What about my brother?!"
Before he can chased it however, he heard the struggle once more, now louder than before. Realized he must be closer to his brother, Solar slowly approached to a nearby bush and saw what was happened, which confirmed his fears. A silver haired young boy was indeed attacked by the same Garden Snakes he escaped before, which Solar guessed that was Aric's avatar, Lunar, but to his surprise, a blue haired 12 year old boy somehow defended him and managed to kill one of the snakes. Not only that, his brother somehow managed to distract the remaining snake, allowing the boy to finish it. Shocked at the recent turn of events, Solar then sighed in relief that his brother was safe. Usually, he wanted to jump in and thank his savior, but after how he saw the Frenmic Rabbit left him in worry, he knew that he should check on it first. "Whoever you are, I hope you can take care my brother from here." Solar thought before he left the area to follow the runaway rabbit.

After a few minutes of running, Solar managed to caught up to the young Frenmic Rabbit, who somehow left his side at the moment. "Hey, little guy. Why did you left earlier?" But as he turned around, he was shocked to saw a rock was blocking a small hole near a small hill. Upon he took a closer look, he heard some cries behind it, which he realized one thing. "Your friends are trapped behind this boulder, right?" The rabbit nodded in worry, which confirmed his guess on the reason why it left him. "Well, since my brother is with somebody I might trust for now, I least I should help you with this." Using the strength he had, he carried the heavy rock with all of his might and with his remaining breath, he threw the rock behind him, which opened the hole once more as it revealed some more Frenmic Rabbits inside it, much to the befriended rabbit's joy.
"There! Your friends are free." Solar said as he watched the rabbit being reunited with it's friends before it somehow thanked him for saving them. "It's okay, I can't stand back there and let you see them suffer anyway." However, the celebration was cut short as he suddenly heard some growling noises, which he slowly realized something. "Uh oh... Don't tell me..." When he turned around, he was horrified to see four Young Pittered Boar, who are now angry as they charged to Solar. "Yikes! Level 1 and 2 Young Pittered Boar! But why?" Upon he took a closer look, one of them have a bump on it's head, which he realized that he must have threw the rock to the boars' territory and accidentally hit one of them with it.
Not wanted to let his rabbit friends involved in his mistake, he shouted to them, "Quick! Hide in the hole until I say so! I'll try to hold off these angry boars." With that said, he pulled out his swords and prepared for battle, only to got tackled by one of the boars before he can attack them. "Ow... You're really mad about the rock thing. Can we at least talk things out?" He was then tackled again by another one of the boars, which he realized that this wasn't working. "Okay, maybe not. Well, time for plan B!" Without any choice, he pulled out two of his swords, opened his skill menu, tapped the skill he desired, and shouted, "Shuffle Windmill!" He spun in place with his arms outstretched, which created horizontal sawblade slashes onto the boars before stopped his his finishing pose.
After that, Solar onto one of the boars and quickly attacked it with his 5 combo slashes before it quickly tackled him on the stomach, which he managed to endure in the last second. "Man, you guys are really angry." He said before he tapped another skill on the menu. "Sorry to do this to you all. Mirage Dealer!" Charged with his swords pointed forward, Solar quickly made an X-shaped slash to the boar that just recently attacked him and immediately teleported behind it before he made three more slashes, which caused it to explode into items and gold. After that, he used Shuffle Windmill once more to the remaining boars as his sawblade slashes managed to weaken them more except one of them missed one. However, he shrugged off his missed attack as he made two more slashes to boar that he attacked before, which killed it in the process.
"Two down, two to go." Solar muttered before he got tackled once more by the Young Pittered Boar and the other one who has a bump on it's head, jumped on his head in retaliation for losing it's friend. "Ow! Seriously?! I was apologizing for throwing a rock over your head and this is what I get?!" He said, now completely irritated at the boars' rude behavior. However, when he saw his HP bar, he realized that if he took more damage from the boars, it's game over for him forever and he will never reunite with his younger brother. Not wanted that to happen, he jumped up with his injuries lingered in his stomach as he tapped on a skill he never used before. "How about we'll speed this up? Ante Up!" With the skill activated, he threw one of his swords and clapped his hands, which caused the thrown sword to levitate in the air.
If he recalled, Ante Up allowed him to control his remaining weapons with vocal commands while allowed him to fight either one-handed or dual wield his main weapons in exchange of his MP being drained as he continued to use this skill. Since his only weapons are his dual swords, he had to use one to activate the skill, which allowed him to use his speedy one-handed sword style fighting. It was a gamble since his planned build was melee Swashbuckler, but it might able to speed up the fight. With a grin on his face, he then said to his sword via AI, "Let's try an all-out attack style!" For some reason, it heard his command as it charged into one of the boars and started to attack it.
As for Solar, he used his remaining sword on the boar he accidentally hit with a rock and charged in before he made several slashes to it. But despite the lack of a second weapon, which he temporarily unable to use his remaining skills, he remained confident as he endured two more tackles from the boars as he attacked before he created a strong horizontal slash, which eliminated the boar as it dropped the items and gold. "Now that's what I call a critical!" He can't help but to quip about his victory, but it was interrupted when he suddenly felt fatigue after that. Remembered that Ante Up was still in effect, he rushed to his AI-controlled sword once more attacking the boar, which he joined it making a finishing move by creating an X-shaped slash, killing the last boar at last.
With all of the monsters killed, he deactivated his Ante Up skill, caused his sword to dropped onto his hand once more before he returned it along with the second sword back into his sheaths. "That was a close one. Now to check up on those Frenmic Rabbits." He said before he returned to the hole once more.

When he reached the rabbit hole, he became happy to see the Frenmic Rabbit he befriended and it's friends are safe. Although the boars are not actually hostile and dangerous, Solar had no choice since they are freaking mad and might hurt the rabbits if left alone. "Sorry about that, guys. But at least you guys are safe." At first, he felt bad about the turn of events, but the rabbits only cried in happiness for what he has done. "Your welcome. Besides, you helped me found my brother and if I didn't, I can't forgive myself for leaving you behind without giving you back for the help you gave to me." With that said, the rabbits celebrated his victory until one of them somehow yawned, which Solar chuckled about it before he yawned as well. "Looks like it's already getting late, huh? I think it's time for me to go to a nearby city. Hopefully, I can find my brother again over there."
The Frenmic Rabbits then frowned in dismay that their new friend was about to leave, but since he still have his Animal Trainer skill and he didn't has a heart to abandon them once more, Solar got an idea. "How about tomorrow, I'll come back here to play with you and your friends? I wanted to tame a powerful monster, but I can't do it without your help. Plus, I have a feeling Aric, I mean, Lunar have a busy time after meeting that another kid and I could use another companion." As expected, the rabbit jumped in joy as it's friends did the same before they cried their goodbyes to the Swashbuckler, hoped that they will see him again. "See ya, guys! I won't forget you!"
As he left the rabbits, Solar then walked through the dark forest for a few hours until he came across the gates of some kind of city. But before he can enter, he wondered something. If he and Aric returned to their old world, would that mean they will still be separated? He wanted him to be independent, but after what happened with their ex-father, Solar knew he can't be left alone until he was older. With that thought up, he knew one thing. "I won't go back to the real world with Aric yet. Not because to forget what happened, but we want to reborn and make sure that mistake will never happen again. And if I find you, Aric. No, Lunar, I'll promise that I won't let anyone hurt you again!"
