Okay, so, Ame, the foxtail Cleric had this odd way of knowing things, like pieces of paper, taken up by the wind, flying directly into her face. She squealed as it did and took it down, staring at it through her blue eyes. "The Mansion of Purple Mirrors?" She raised her brow and then remembered that it was Halloween. She stared down at the paper for a while and shrugged, tossing it into a garbage bin. "Like hell I'm going near anything like that, not after the last time.." She was of course, talking about her creepy Slender Man quest. She shook her head and shivered, quickly turning around, feeling a presence there. She sighed. The mission had scared her so much she kept thinking that he was there, lurking in the distance, waiting to attack her with his weird little white fingers. She shivered again. "Okay, I seriously have to stop thinking about that!" She shook the thought out of her head and turned around. Her eyes widened, and her head tilted. She was no longer in Londinium, oh no, she was no longer on her way home. "Why Universe! WHY?!" She was really starting to hate the month of October in this game, weird scary things kept popping up at her.
She stood there, staring up at the mansion that was on the flyer. She sighed a sigh of annoyance and put her hand on her head. If she turned around, what would be there. Well, she would have her answer as she turned her head around to look what was behind her. "Oh, yes, please. Just put a giant, creepy forest covering the entire exit." She looked back to the mansion and shook her head. "Why is it that you want me so bad, mansion? What did I do to you? Were you related to Slender Man or something?" She let out another agitated sigh and walked up to the steps, looking up at the door. She raised her brow and took another look around, shrugging, she sat on the first step. "Well, jokes on you, cause I'm not going in alone!" She turned her head, stuck out her tongue at the door and then turned back, chills creeping up her back. This was going to be one hell of a night, she could already tell.

PUMPKIN PIE AND RIDDLES! [attr="class","topLeftBeam"]HP - 100% [attr="class","icon"] [attr="class","topRightBeam"]100% - MP [attr="class","content"] Why it had taken so long for Madeline to realize just what time of year it was was anyone's guess. Here in the middle of October, likely her least favorite year of the month, and she hadn't even thought about it. Of course, she supposed that wasn't such a bad thing. Not knowing allowed her at least a few extra days of not wanting to erase herself from existence. She was never one for superstitions or tales of the afterlife, and Halloween was something she avoided altogether. Oh, but the world was cruel, and rarely left her to her own devices. Especially this world. Elder Tale was a place filled with things she only willingly fooled around with when she was playing video games. Of course, this was, for all intents and purposes, still a video game. She was just living it. If Fate did exist, she was indeed a cruel mistress. Cruel enough that she would plant Madeline smack dab in the middle of a situation she had avoided all her life up to this point. When she thought about Halloween, other than the annoying trick-or-treaters that she was forced to cooperatively give candy out to since she so passionately refused to do any trick-or-treating herself, there was one other thing that the holiday reminded her of: the rash of desperately cheap "haunted houses" that would pop up in her home town. These things annoyed her more than the trick-or-treaters if she was being honest. So why was she so surprised now to find herself standing in front of what was most definitely meant to be a haunted mansion? Who could tell, but it is what it is. How she had ended up here was beyond her. She had just literally been standing in Londinium, on her way to purchase more supplies for her alchemy subclass. She was standing next to a small apothecary's stall, looking over a flier for-- oh right, that's why this looked familiar. "Wait, just reading the stupid thing got me in this mess?" She placed a hand on her forehead and sighed. "Never reading anything ever again," she whispered to herself in aggravation. Sighing in defeat once more, looked back up at the mansion. Shaking her head, she walked toward the thing, her annoyance with this whole situation rising with each step. When she reached the steps leading up to the porch, she noticed a girl sitting at the top, looking both annoyed and nervous. Tilting her head slightly, she placed a hand on the old wooden railing and clicked her tongue. "So, are you going in there too, then?"[attr="class","bottomLeftBeam"] [attr="class","copyright"] [attr="class","bottomRightBeam"] [newclass=.topLeftBeam]display: inline-block; position: relative; top: -48px; width: 225px; height: 3px; border: 1px solid #4286ad; border-top-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-left-radius: 7px; background: linear-gradient(45deg, #000000 0%, #4286ad 0%, #4286ad 100%); text-align: right;[/newclass] [newclass=.topRightBeam]display: inline-block; position: relative; top: -48px; width: 225px; height: 3px; border: 1px solid #4286ad; border-top-left-radius: 7px; border-bottom-right-radius: 7px; background: linear-gradient(-45deg, #000000 0%, #4286ad 0%, #4286ad 100%); text-align: left;[/newclass] [newclass=.bottomLeftBeam]display: inline-block; width: 225px; height: 5px; margin-bottom:24px; border-top-left-radius: 7px; border-bottom-right-radius: 7px;background-color: #4286ad;[/newclass] [newclass=.bottomRightBeam]display: inline-block; width: 225px; height: 5px; margin-bottom:24px; border-top-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-left-radius: 7px; background-color: #4286ad;[/newclass] [newclass=.icon]display: inline-block; width: 108px; height: 108px; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/MI897pP.png)[/newclass] [newclass=.copyright]display: inline-block; width: 45px; height: 45px;background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/uBBGyur.png);margin:0px 4px 0px 4px;[/newclass] [newclass=.stats]display: inline-block; position: relative; top: -54px; height: 5px; margin: 0px 5px 0px 5px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: bold; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; opacity: .5;[/newclass] [newclass=.content]width: 350px; border-left: 5px solid #4286ad; font-family: Times, serif; color: #ffffff; text-align: justify; padding-left: 25px; opacity: .5;[/newclass]

She let out a calm sigh as the cold night air hit her face, making her bangs move from side to side. Her tail was tucked neatly to her side, clearly afraid for it's self as it only did that when it was in fear. Her ears twitched, basically begging her to just leave, but she couldn't. She was stuck there by some force, or probably just her own mind wanting to overcome this fear, this haunted house. She didn't dare look back at the mansion, too afraid it would be looking back if she did. She had a thing with always running into things like these. The Slender Man, the mansion, ghosts, zombies, ghouls, could her luck get any worse?! She just prayed no one showed up, then she could wait it out and leave once Halloween was over and done with. She had had far too many bad experiences as of late to actually have any interest in going in there, but if someone came, then it would be a sudden test of strength and heart. She would have to go in and work her best to complete it. 'I wish I could just send out a mass email to every adventurer.. Don't come to the freaking mansion!' She lightly chuckled, but jumped as the house creaked at her. She stared forward, forcing herself not to look. 'Don't do it, Ame, it isn't worth it.' But she would have to do it, and in the distance, she knew as she saw an adventurer nearing the house.
Her palm hit her face and she sat still, an expression of anger slash fright slash all the emotions she was currently going through flashed through her. But as the adventurer neared her, she sat still. Maybe she would go away, not see her, not want to go in, but as she came up, Koda, as it flashed into view, the sorcerer class insignia beside it, Ame knew that she was going into the house. It had tested her, tested her ability to do things alone and won, now it was going to have her soul, unless, they could make it out. She licked her lips and stood after she heard the girl's voice. She looked the elven sorceress up and down and then up again, meeting her face. With a nod she qould exclaim, "yup, I am! I'm Kitty." She held out her hand, accepting defeat rather quickly, almost as if she actually did want to go in, but was too much of a pansy to actually do it on her own... "Might as well do it together, if you're interested?" She tilted her head and waited for the elf to accept with a hand shake. If she did, Ame would open her interface and invite her into a party, then she would finally turn to the house and look it up. Lately, she felt like the game had been screwing with her, but suddenly, she felt like maybe she wasn't the only one it was screwing with. Perhaps everyone was a victim, especially with the time of year it was.. If Koda didn't accept, well then, she hadn't gotten that far...

PUMPKIN PIE AND RIDDLES! [attr="class","topLeftBeam"]HP - 100% [attr="class","icon"] [attr="class","topRightBeam"]100% - MP [attr="class","content"] This mansion and its surrounding must have had a way of playing tricks on the minds of those it ensnared. When Madeline had first noticed the girl sitting on the steps of this rickety old abode, she didn't look nearly as chipper as she did now. She wondered if maybe the girl had been sitting there so long that she had gone insane. Or perhaps she wasn't a girl at all, but an illusion created by the house to lure Madeline inside with a false sense of security and companionship. All of these things were feasible, as long as you believed in that hogswallop. Madeline however, didn't. Therefore, she simply looked at the girl with a puzzled expression at her sudden, almost eager offer to go inside with her. Taking her hand, she sighed. "To tell you the truth, I wasn't planning on going in myself. But I guess I don't have anywhere else to go." She rolled her eyes and gestured toward the forest behind her. "I'm Koda. Nice to meet you...Kitty."She thought about how generic the name "Kitty" sounded. By itself, the name was fine, especially in the case of a video game moniker. But to say it out loud...well, it reminded her of those shows that were way to obvious to figure out by the way the cable networks would make the picture all jittery-- you know, we'll just stop there. Looking at the girl's nameplate, she saw that she was of the Cleric class. She didn't know anything about the class other than that it was magic-using class, like her own. She also noticed her full Adventurer's username: KittyGrey. She found the name even more generic and mundane that before, and made a mental decision. "I think I'll just call you Grey, if that's okay. It sounds more...mysterious and intriguing." She felt herself smile at this, something she hadn't done in a long time, if she thought about it. It felt foreign, not to mention a little sad to be smiling at her own comments. Oh well, no one ever said Madeline Gracie was cool. Why start now? At this time, she released the girl's hand and looked over her should at the house. She sighed again and shrugged, looking back at the girl. Nothing more to do now than to go inside and see what yet another "haunted house" had in store for her. She was already over this little adventure and wanted nothing more than for it to end. "Well, let's get this over with, shall we?" She sidestepped past Grey and headed up the stairs, grabbing hold of the old brass doorknob and twisting it without hesitation. It clicked open silently and the door popped loose from the trim with a slight creak. She pushed the door open as a cool draft hit her face. Standing there, she dropped her shoulders and stared upward, rolling her eyes for the second time in three minutes. Not even so much as a scream box. How sad.[attr="class","bottomLeftBeam"] [attr="class","copyright"] [attr="class","bottomRightBeam"] [newclass=.topLeftBeam]display: inline-block; position: relative; top: -48px; width: 225px; height: 3px; border: 1px solid #4286ad; border-top-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-left-radius: 7px; background: linear-gradient(45deg, #000000 0%, #4286ad 0%, #4286ad 100%); text-align: right;[/newclass] [newclass=.topRightBeam]display: inline-block; position: relative; top: -48px; width: 225px; height: 3px; border: 1px solid #4286ad; border-top-left-radius: 7px; border-bottom-right-radius: 7px; background: linear-gradient(-45deg, #000000 0%, #4286ad 0%, #4286ad 100%); text-align: left;[/newclass] [newclass=.bottomLeftBeam]display: inline-block; width: 225px; height: 5px; margin-bottom:24px; border-top-left-radius: 7px; border-bottom-right-radius: 7px;background-color: #4286ad;[/newclass] [newclass=.bottomRightBeam]display: inline-block; width: 225px; height: 5px; margin-bottom:24px; border-top-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-left-radius: 7px; background-color: #4286ad;[/newclass] [newclass=.icon]display: inline-block; width: 108px; height: 108px; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/MI897pP.png)[/newclass] [newclass=.copyright]display: inline-block; width: 45px; height: 45px;background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/uBBGyur.png);margin:0px 4px 0px 4px;[/newclass] [newclass=.stats]display: inline-block; position: relative; top: -54px; height: 5px; margin: 0px 5px 0px 5px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: bold; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; opacity: .5;[/newclass] [newclass=.content]width: 350px; border-left: 5px solid #4286ad; font-family: Times, serif; color: #ffffff; text-align: justify; padding-left: 25px; opacity: .5;[/newclass]

Ame felt a little bad with her excitement. She really didn't even want to go in, but this was her way of showing no fear or something, by acting overly excited.. She was definitely a strange type of person. With her words, Ame let out a soft giggle and nodded. "Yeah, we're both kind of stuck here anyways.." She wondered if she should tell the sorceress before her of promise to the house, but as she began to speak, the thought left her mind and she tilted her head as Koda said the name Kitty. She wondered why the word had come out as it had, but soon her mental question was answered and she replied with a wide grin reaching from ear to ear. "Well, that's certainly a first. Most people just call me Kitty, but, I'm okay with you calling me Grey if that's what you want!" The grin didn't disappear as she continued. "Though I don't know how mysterious or intriguing I really am, so I wouldn't expect to be able to live up to the name." She giggled lowly and shook her head at herself. She found her gaze reaching the house and her grin became a flat line. She felt as though she should tell the sorceress that she really didn't want to go, she had been truthful with her, so now it was time for her to own up as well. She looked to Koda and took a breath.
"Now it's my turn to be honest.. I really wasn't anticipating on going. Funny story, I somehow got transferred here and told the house I wasn't going in alone, and now you're here. My excitement is a bluff.. I'm actually.. terrified." She shifted her feet lightly but followed after Koda spoke and side stepped her. She hoped the girl wouldn't think less of her for being afraid, but after the experience she had come upon recently, she really didn't know what to expect and that truly terrified her. She almost expected the Slender Man to appear in the house or something and she kept her eyes wide open as Koda opened the door and it made a creepy squeaking noise. The noise made her shudder slightly but she breathed in deeply and licked her lips. "Alright, let's do this." She would wait for Koda to enter before entering herself, though, the anticipation of walking into a trap haunted house was making her nervous, and if the didn't enter soon, she would probably high tail her golden, white tipped tail right out of there. She really wouldn't, but when they did enter the house and the door closed behind her, she would try to re open it, but with a failed attempt, the two would know they were stuck in the house until they, one, completed it, or two, died. And if neither happened, they'd be eternally stuck there.. That thought was also terrifying. That was it, it was clear what she had to do, make sure both of them got out of this house!
