The pharmacy shop was full of boxs, each filled with ingredients, bottles and vials. Everything you'd need to fill a massive order that the shop got, 240 potions in total. The shopkeeper is already hard at work when Lavinia arrived he greeted her with a nod and she returned it, no time, there is work to be done. Getting right to work Lavinia walks up to the workbench she takes out three vials out of a drawer and places them neatly on the bench. Next she walks over to the drying racks, the racks are now packed to the brim with herbs and she retrieves six average size herbs and carried then to the workbench and places them next to the vial. Now the solvents, looking on the shelves but there isn't any grade one solvent left. "Where is the grade one solvent?" she asks the shopkeeper as she reads the side of a box looking any indication that the solvent is in it. "There." he replies pointing to a crate on the other side of the room. Feeling like an idiot she walks over lifts the lid and takes out 3 bottles of solvent. She should have known the giant crate was the solvent, it's one of the most used ingredients in making potions. Taking them over to the workbench, she sets them down next to the other materials and retrieves the mortar from the drew and let's out a sigh "Alright, let's get started.". While the shopkeeper has already filled the majority of the potions required, there was still a lot of work to be done.

Taking several of the herbs and placing them in the mortar, Lavinia begins to grind them into a powder. She actually likes this part when comparing it to the mixing other recipes require. Finishing the first herb Lavinia carefully dumps the powder into a large glass container and starts the next. As she grinds this herb to a powder her thoughts wander, she wonders what Kitty is up to and wishes someone would invent a telepathy phone already. It would be nice to be able to have a way to talk with someone through telepathy without needing your hands to be free. It would make filling this order so much less dull. "Just imagine how much AP you'll have when the order is done." she tells herself finishing the second herb. It's not like Lavinia dislikes her crafting class, it's just kinda boring at certain points when making the potions. She loved researching new potions, working out the problems, and hopefully making the world a better place because of it. As before Lavinia carefully dumps the powder into the container and moves onto the final herb, at least for this batch of potions.
As she grinds the herb Lavinia hears shuffling behind her "I'm going out for food, do you want anything?" the shopkeeper says before Lavinia could turn around to see what the noise was about. A thoughtful hum escaped Lavinia's lips as she thought about what she'd like to eat. She didn't know what she wanted "Umm, surprise me!" she replied with a smile. The shopkeeper answered with a grin a nod and then left the shop. As the door shuts Lavinia gets back to work grinding the herb for this batch. As she does she wonders what the shopkeeper will bring back, hopefully something she liked. Lavinia would rather not be rude and decline the meal if she isn't like it and didn't want to stomach down one she didn't like either. Finishing the last herb, she carefully dumped the powder into the container just like before. Now she was ready for the final leg of this.

Setting aside the mortar, she wouldn't need it anymore, Lavinia took the glass container full of the powdered herbs and carefully poured each of the three bottles of solvent into the container. Next she'd need the hotplate, reaching over Lavinia sides the hotplate closer and turns it on after placing the container on top. After a few moments Lavinia would stir the mixture as it started to warm and a few moments later stir it again. She wanted to ensure the powder was completely desolved before continuing. Lavinia found her thoughts wander to her friend Ridley, the rather cute lander she met and then hired as a bodyguard later on, she wondered how her house was coming along and if it'll be finished soon. Lavinia couldn't wait to tell Kitty about the house.
Stirring the mixture one last time, Lavinia snatches a mitten off the workbench and takes the hot container off the hotplate. Setting the container aside to cool, Lavinia begins preparing the vials to be filled, taking each one, placing them in front of her and setting a cork next to each. Finally she takes the warm container, a funnel and carefully fills each of the vials with the mixture. After they are filled Lavinia carefully puts the cork top in each, scoops them up and adds them to the box with the others. Looking at the box and how empty it is Lavinia sighs at how much they still have to make. Cleaning up she takes the containers and bottles and puts them in the sink with the others. Either her or the shopkeeper will have to wash them soon the sink is starting to get full. Walking back over to the bench Lavinia picks up a piece of paper reading what is written on it Lavinia smiles "Alright, what's next?".

"Next up, burn cream. Easy enough." Lavinia says reading the slip of paper before setting it down in the exact spot she found it. Walking over to the drying racks Lavinia fetches 3 handfuls of an odd orange colored herb and places them on the workbench. Next she got into a drawer and took out three small tablets, and finally six bottles of solvent. Placing everything in the workbench neatly, Lavinia took the mortar and begun to ground the herbs into a powder. Taking the first herb, Lavinia slowly and carefully ground it down into a very fine powder. These herbs would have to be very finely ground to produce the kind of cream needed. As she finished the first herb, Lavinia carefully put the powder into a glass container and the started on the next. Lavinia wondered what someone could possibly need this many potions for, she'd have to ask the client when he or she shows up to pick them up. Finishing the second herb, she carefully adds it to the container with the powder from the first. Last one, grinding this one down she adds it to the collective pile that is now built up inside the container. Lavinia would need to go out for a night on the town after filling this giant order, she thought asking Kitty, but then she remembered her new friend Ridley. The cute lander she met just recently didn't give the indication of getting out much, she'll have to ask her next time Lavinia sees her.

Doing her best to push the cute warden from her mind Lavinia begins the next step. Next Lavinia would take the solvents and add them to the mixture. Pouring each of the six bottles into the glass container carefully so none is spilled. Failing to keep Ridley out of her thoughts, Lavinia wonders what she's doing, playing with the village kids maybe? The next step it has to be mixed, Lavinia's favorite step... Yeah. Taking a glass utensil from a drawer Lavinia begins to stir the mixture. The mixture will have to be stirred well or the final step won't go well. As Lavinia stirs thee thoughts wander more, so much for focusing on the job. After a moment or two of stirring Lavinia has a stroke of creativity. Pulling out her notebook Lavinia writes down a series of notes and labels the page "Health Patch" near the top. She then scribals down a few more notes. Closing the notebook Lavinia gently sides it to the side of the workbench so it won't be in her way. She'll have to explore this idea later. Continuing mixing for a moment Lavinia stops to inspect the liquid, almost done. Lavinia sighs as she goes back to stirring the mixture. Finished, as Lavinia finishes stirring the mixture she hears the shop door open. It's the shopkeeper returning with food and the smell that came with him smells delicious. Locking the front door behind him as he enters he gives Lavinia a warm smile. "I think you'll love what I brought." he says placing a bag on the table and taking two plates covered in foil. "What did you get? It smells amazing. " she asked "You'll have to wait till you finish that batch." he replies laughing.

| "Fine." Lavinia replies which makes the shopkeeper chuckle. Walking over to the far end of the workbench Lavinia retrieves 3 plastic containers and their lids, these will hold the final product and keep it safe during storage or when not being used. Placing them next to the containers Lavinia retrieves a simple spoon and places it with the plastic containers. Next she takes the tablets and tosses all three into the mixture. After a brief moment Lavinia starts doing her favorite task again, stirring. As she stirs the tablets start to desolve making the mixture start to get thick. After another moment Lavinia has to switch to a more durable stirring utensil. Before she knows it the mixture is now a nice thick cream, taking the spoon and one of the plastic containers she begins to fill it. Spoonful by spoonful Lavinia fills the first container with the cream until it's full. Doing the same with the final two containers, Lavinia somehow manages to gather up all the items she used to create the burn in both hands and carry them over to the sink. Hunger starts getting the better of Lavinia so she washed all the items in the sink quickly and goes to eat. Walking to the front of the counter Lavinia sees her plate still wrapped in foil. The smell of the meal seems familiar to Lavinia as she reaches out for the plate. "Is it fish?" she asks as she opens it. It was, baked fish with seasons sprinkled on top of each filet. Her plate had two filets just for her and a pile of French fries. French fries were a real world food, an adventurer made these. Lavinia looked over at the shopkeeper "Who made the meal?" she asked looking curiously puzzled. The shopkeeper smiled "Here is a hint, we both know her. You have one guess." he answers. That's not a very useful hint Lavinia thought, it's a girl yeah, but Lavinia has come to know most of the customers that come to the shop so then who. Lavinia looks down at the meal thoughtfully and plucks a fry off the plate and eats it. The perfect crispyness of the fries, the visually pleasing spices and herbs baked onto the filets. There is only one person Lavinia knows that could have made this. It was kittygrey, as she realize this Lavinia smiled and ate another fry. She didn't need to even confirm it was her, all the signs prove it was her. "Well I guess were in for a treat then, she's the best cook I know." she comments and digs in. WORD COUNT:439

Finishing her meal with a embarrassing belch Lavinia apologized and excused herself so can can continue working. Picking up the list for the order Lavinia puts an X next to burn cream and read that charm potions were next on the list. Opening her book of recipes Lavinia skims over what it calls for and proceeds to get them. Two impure tablets, second row, third drawer down, reaching down she takes six tablets from the box and sets them on the workbench. Next the herbs, as always, these can be found on the drying racks. Lavinia takes six of these as well and sets them on the bench. Lastly 2 solvents, retrieving six of them off the shelf Lavinia is ready to begin.
Taking her mortar Lavinia begins grinding down the first herb for the potion. As she finishes the first herb the shopkeeper comes over with a pair of gloves. "You may want to wear these, when in powder form that absorbs rather easily through the skin." he says handing them to Lavinia. She nods and accepts them gratefully and slips them on. Carefully dumping the powder into a container Lavinia then starts on the next. Adding that to the container Lavinia takes two of the tablets and puts them into the container. Lastly she takes a bottle of solvent off the shelf and adds it to the powder tablet mix. She does so carefully or Lavinia risks splashing the materials on her skin, which would be bad. Now the tablets and the powder must dissolve so it can be used correctly. Taking her stirring utensil Lavinia begins to stir the mixture. By the end of this order Lavinia is never going to want to stir another potion again. Luckily she won't have to once her home is complete. Last step, retrieving three vials and corks from a drawer Lavinia places two off to the side and one in front of her. Taking the container filled with the mixture Lavinia carefully pours it into the vial and places the cork in the top, one down two to go.

Next one, taking another herb Lavinia begins to grind it down into a powder like before. As she does she daydreams about how her home will have a room dedicated to just her Pharmacy class. It'll have all the latest equipment, magitek devices that'll stir a mixture or one that will grind up herbs into a powder, once it's done Lavinia will be like a kid in a candy store. First herb is done, just like the first, Lavinia adds it to a glass container and moves into the second herb. The house wasn't just about crafting, Lavinia planned to stay there full time so it would have everything a normal house would. Lavinia wondered if Kitty would get a house and what it would be like. Second herb finished, carefully Lavinia adds the powder to the container smiling because she knew Kitty had to have that deluxe kitchen.
Popping two tablets into the mix Lavinia takes the bottle of solvent and just like before carefully pours it into the container. Stirring the mixture Lavinia's thoughts wandered off to Ridley again. She imagined her playing with the village kids and then later getting scolded for it. Lavinia sighed irritably at the thought and pushed it from her mind. Watching the tablets break up and dissolve into the mixture Lavinia thinks more about her house, her mid really is all over the place today. She couldn't wait for the house being done, not only was it in walking distance of the beach, but it also had a large heated bath. It was the closest thing to a hot tube one could get in this world and Lavinia couldn't wait to take a dip. Now that the materials are finally dissolved, Lavinia takes another vial and fills it carefully with the potion mixture. Then lastly puts the cork in the top and sets it aside with the other potion.

Last charm potion, taking the second to last herb on the bench Lavinia starts grinding it down into the typical powder required for making a cream based item. As Lavinia grinds down the potion Lavinia's thoughts wander to her house once again. She was imagining what the library room in her house would be like. The walls lined with shelves, filled with books and that book smell that Lavinia loved filled the room. Finishing grinding the first herb down, Lavinia carefully adds it to the container like every time before. Taking the next herb and grinding it down to the powder required, Lavinia adds it to the container like the countless times before. She wonders what kind of Aphrodisiac's this concoction has to contain to effect so many creatures and then she wondered if it would work on adventures. The thought made her blush, using such a substance on someone just to get them... ready for such a thing, absurd.
Taking the last two tablets Lavinia pops them into the container and then follows up my carefully pouring the solvent into the container. Now the fun part, taking the same glass utensil Lavinia begins to stir the mixture, once again imagining doing this sort of thing in her home where she'd have a device to do it for her. She was actually given a run down of how it would work by the lander that made it. You place a disc inside a container just like the one she is stiring now, then press a button. The device draws power from the user pressing the button to spin the disc causing the mixture to well mix, rather quickly to boot. After a bit of day dreaming the mixture is finally complete, taking the final vial and cork, Lavinia carefully pours the charm potion mixture into the vial and corks it. Taking all three vials, Lavinia adds them to the collection of potions the customer ordered. "Alright, whats next?" she says turning to the work bench ready to get started.

The pharmacy shopkeeper told Lavinia about a gathering of Pharmacists to discuss crafting, research and all other matters pertaining to the crafting class. Needing a break, Lavinia decided to attend, after several hours has past she finally returned to continue filling the order.
Next on the list was sleeping potions, another easy craft but still time consuming. Walking over to the drying racks, Lavinia snatches three bright green herb off them and places them in a neat pile on the workbench. The recipe also calls for three bottles of solvent, going to the box Lavinia lifts the lid and fetches three bottles and sets them next to the herbs. Lastly Lavinia leans over and opens a drawer set inside the workbench and plucks three tablets from it and closes it. Now that all the materials are assembled Lavinia can begin.
Taking a rather large knife, Lavinia begins to dice the pile of green herbs into small pieces. The knife is very similar to one you'd find in a kitchen for dicing up things like onions and Lavinia followed the same method for it. She would slide the blade over and then chop, slide it over a bit more then chop. She'd then use a small flat metal plate to scoop the herbs back into a neat pile and repeat until they where finely diced. Chop, chop, chop can be heard as Lavinia finishes then she notices the smell. These bright green herbs have a pleasing smell to most creatures. Indulging her senses Lavinia leans down to get a better smell of them, stupid mistake, these particular herbs are also known for their smell causing slumber just as easily as ingesting them in potion form. Lavinia's eyes get heavy and she falls asleep almost immediately.

Asleep with her head on the workbench, Lavinia was lucky she didn't fall onto the knife as she lost consciousness. After a moment the shopkeeper notices her condition and comes to help Lavinia. Shaking his head and smiling at her he tries shaking her awake, nothing, he tries shaking her harder, still nothing. He sighs, pulling Lavinia's limp body to a sitting position he tries shaking her again, still nothing. "Only one thing left to do... Sorry girl..." he says gently taking Lavinia's face in his other hand while steadying her with the other. With one quick motion he let's go of Lavinia with the hand he used to steady her with and slaps her across the face effectively and abruptly waking her up. She wakes with a grunt almost falling over "What happened?" she asks looking up at the shopkeeper sleepily You inhaled the scent of the herbs, it knocked you out." he said chuckling and returning to his work.
Giving a giant stretch to wake herself back up and a yawn followed after, okay back to work. Where were we, oh yes, taking a large glass container Lavinia carefully fills it with the solvent. The clear liquid shouldn't have much problem dissolving the herbs, it does smell pretty bad though. Scooping up the pile of herbs on a metal plate, Lavinia carefully dumps them into the glass container. Lavinia sighed as things were now ready for the next step, that dreaded step that she loathes, mixing the batch so it dissolves. Taking the same mixing utensil from a drawer Lavinia begins stirring with another sigh. After a moment of stirring this step is complete and Lavinia can now finally move onto the next step, that involves more stirring, sigh.

Reaching over Lavinia takes the three tablets and drop one after the other into the herbal mixture. The tablets once dissolved will allow the mixture to be adsorbed into the blood stream considerably easier, plus it turns the mixture a pretty pink color so that's a bonus. Pink was an odd color for a potion that puts the target to sleep, maybe purple or something would be a better color. Lavinia wondered who actually came up with stuff when they created the game. As she stirred the mixture it slowly turned from green to a cloudy pink and then to a smooth pink, like bubble gum pink.
Final stretch for this set of potions, taking the vials Lavinia takes one and puts a funnel in the top. Carefully, Lavinia pours the pink liquid into the vial. The vial is slimmer than usual and is shaped to look like but almost entirely not like the English character Z. With the vial now full of the pink liquid and corker Lavinia sets the glass container off to the side for a moment. Next comes the label, a piece of paper that is attached to the vial with "Sleep potion" written on it. Rinse and repeat for the remaining two sleep potions. Done! Lavinia says as she places the sleeping potions with the rest of them. Only four more items to make them this order is done. Walking over to the list, Lavinia picks it up and crosses Sleeping potions off and looks at what is next. The list reads, Corrosive Poison, a mixture of poison and mana crystals, interesting.

LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: ... Next on the list was impure poison and corrosive poison, two items that go hand in hand. One is required to make the other, so Lavinia figured it would just be best to make them both at the same time. The recipes called for one herb two solvents and two mana fragments, simple enough, retrieving the desired materials from their storage places Lavinia neatly assembles them on the workbench. The herb used for this potion is quite menacing looking, mostly purple in color with light green specks of color and jagged edges. Even the solvent was different this time, because these poison potions are not meant to be ingested it can be more acidic than the usual solvent Lavinia uses. The mana fragments Lavinia took from the box are small in size so that they can easily fit inside the vials.
The first step in preparing the materials like any other potion is to grind them down into a powder. Retrieving the mortar, Lavinia carefully picks up one of the menacing looking herbs and places it inside. She really didn't want to find out how sharp the edges of the herb actually was. As the herb ground down into a powder, it turned from the purple shade it was to a much darker purple, at least the spiked edges were gone. Now powder the herb was ready to be mixed with the solvents. The first solvent was for dissolving the herb and the second for boosting the toxicity of the potion itself. Taking a glass container Lavinia carefully adds the dark purple powder and follows with the first bottle of solvent. After a moment of stirring Lavinia adds the other bottle of solvent and gives the whole mixture a quick stirring. The next step is to put this vile smelling mix into a vial. Getting a funnel Lavinia places it into the top and carefully pours the poison into the vial. The vial is just an average shaped vial that looks like a long tear drop. Taking two mana fragments, Lavinia inspects each of them and finds both satisfactory, plopping both inside the vial, she corks the top and places a paper label on the vial. There are no words on the label just a skull and cross bones, a tell tail sign that what's inside is potion. One down two to go! LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: ... Next one, Lavinia picks up the next purple green speckled spiky herb and inspects it carefully. It appeared to be just as fresh as the first which was important, if these herbs weren't fresh the poison would not be as potent and the customer could become unsatisfied with her work and that can't happen. Taking the herb Lavinia places it inside the mortar, the mortar is actually rather smooth. Lavinia didn't get why at first but it made sense later on, but that's a topic for another day. Taking the pestle Lavinia begins to press the rough end against the herb slowly turning it from the bulky clump of herb into a dark purple powder.
The next step was simple, dissolve the dark purple powder into the solvents. Taking a glass container Lavinia dumps the powder into the container an adds the first solvent. Taking the same mucin utensil Lavinia stirs the mixture until the once clear mixture is a dark purple, just like the powder. Next, she added the second solvent, Lavinia watched as the dark purple liquid lightened as the two mixed. Giving the liquid a quick stir would suffice to thoroughly mix the two and now it was ready for the next step. Taking the foul smelling liquid, a funnel and a tear drop shaped vial Lavinia places the funnel into the mouth of the vial and emptied the glass container into the vial. Taking two mana fragments Lavinia decides that they are good enough and pops them into the vial, careful not to splash the poison out of it. Next was the little cork and a label, with the cork in it's place at the mouth of the vial Lavinia picked up the vial and slid the paper label with the traditional skull and cross bones on it. One more to go... Armor: Windsor Antiqua Robes: Lv5 Weapon: Windsor Antiqua Staff: Lv5 Made by Sileas; with help from Neun, Kyou, Saber, and Oxford. LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: ... Last one, taking the last purple green speckled spiky herb Lavinia inspects the menacing looking thing. Lavina really didn't want to run into one of these spikes out in the wilderness. She assumed they would deliver some kind of nasty poison and Lavinia hates being poisoned and snakes. Finding the herb to be satisfactory, she places it in her mortar and begins grinding. Lavinia can't wait for her house to be done, all this is starting to get really repetitive for even her. When finished she'll place the dark purple powder into a glass container, adds the solvent and start mixing. As the purple powder and clear liquid mix it all becomes a faded light purple until Lavinia adds the second solvent. After the first mixing is complete Lavinia adds the second solvent which turns the whole mix lighter and gives the whole thing a few quick mixes before it's done. Next step, put the liquid In a vial, taking the last tear drop vial Lavinia puts it in front of her and takes the funnel out. Sticking the funnel into the vial Lavinia pours the foul smelling liquid into the vial, carefully. Lavinia wondered what used this kind of explosive poison could have. You could throw it at an enemy and they'd take damage for a bit, but what about it eating through solid objects? Maybe softer things like wood could be eaten through, but no way could it work on something like metal. With the vial filled Lavinia removes the funnel and sets it aside, she'll need to rinse it and use it later. Taking two mana fragments Lavinia inspects them making sure they're sufficient size and shape, they are. Carefully dropping each fragment into the vial Lavinia adds the cork to the vial and gets the label. Sliding the label over the tear drop vial Lavinia adds it to the batch and can now cross them off her list.

LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: ... Crossing corrosive potions off the list Lavinia checks and reads potion of waterbreathing is next. Her recipe for the potion says two herbs one solvent and a mana fragment, simple enough. Lavinia retrieves three blue colored leafs, three green colored leafs, three bottles of grade or solvent and three mana fragments. The herbs for thus potion are rather unpleasant, the blue herb is slimy and smells like fish, while the green herb just smells awful, like rotting eggs. Getting over this fact Lavinia pushed on and takes the slimy herb and places it in her mortar and begins to grind it down. The slime coating the herb makes this a long difficult process. Once that is done Lavinia pulls out a second mortar and grinds down the foul smelling green herb to powder, this one goes much quicker but feels like it lasts forever because of the horrid smell. Next Lavinia reads that they must be dissolved using the solvent, just like everything else. Taking the blue kind of clumpy powder Lavinia dumps it into a glass container and does the same with the now foul smelling powder, Lavinia would hate to get that stuf on her clothes. Next she adds the solvent by carefully pouring it into the container. Next the stirring, why is there always stirring. As Lavinia mixes the liquid becomes teal in color showing that it's done. Next, the mana fragment, taking the fragment Lavinia inspects it and finds this particular or unsatisfactory. Taking another this one is and she adds it to the mixture and starts stirring again. After a moment the fragment dissolves in the mixture and the whole thing turns slightly more blue than green, but also the mixture itself now had a sparkle thanks to the fragment. Only thing that's left to do now is vial it, label it and start the next one. Taking a normal vial Lavinia puts a funnel into the mouth of it and pours the sweet then foul smelling liquid into it, at least this one won't hurt you if you spill it. Next Lavinia corked the mouth then put the label in place. It had three bubbles that looked like they were underwater. Well that was easy Lavinia thought, next! LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: ... Taking another blue herb Lavinia inspects it, yep still slimy and gross. Setting that down she takes a green herb and inspects it, yep still smells horrible. Taking the green herb and the mortar she used on the last green one Lavinia grinds it down rather easily and sets the whole thing aside. Now the blue one, just like before, blue herb blue mortar, just like the first this one takes a bit. At the rate things are going Lavinia is going to have to worry about wrist injury with all the herb grinding. Maybe after she finished this order she'll take a long vacation from the craft for a bit, like that'll actually happen. Taking the green mortar Lavinia dumps the powder into a container, careful not to get any on her. Next the blue, taking the mortar of clumpy blue stuff Lavinia dumps it all into the same container. Giving everything a long very boring mix, Lavinia realizes it's starting to get late. She thinks she'll be able to push through and finish the last of these items before she heads off to the inn for the night. Finally finished with this mixing Lavinia takes the same mana fragment from earlier and almost puts it into the potion. She sighs and puts it into the box with the rest and makes sure to grab another. After passing inspection Lavinia places it into the mix with everything else and starts mixing. After a moment the fragment is dissolved and Lavinia can continue. After corking the vial Lavinia slides the bubble label into place and adds it to the pile. One more... LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: ... Last one, taking the last blue herb Lavinia inspects it before she uses it. Yep still slimy, not that she really expected it not to be. Putting the blue herb inside it's respective mortar Lavinia slides it off to the side. Taking the last green herb Lavinia inspects it and finds it satisfactory, she then places that into it's respective mortar and begins grinding. As she grinds Lavinia is very happy that this is the last potion for this set, these herbs are just awful. Done, next, sliding the green mortar off to the side Lavinia takes the blue one and begins to grind away at this one. At this point the level of potential injury to her wrist is pretty high, not to mention Lavinia's sanity. Finally the grinding is complete and Lavinia goes straight for the glass container and dumps the foul awful smelling clumps into it. She watched as the solvent started to dissolve the clumps as she poured the green powder in and begun to mix. After the mix turns a blueish green Lavinia adds the mana fragment and continues to mix. After everything starts to sparkle it means it's done. Taking the funnel Lavinia places it in the mouth of the vial and pours the potion into it's vial. After corking the top Lavinia slides the cute bubble label into place and adds it with the rest. Done, checking off the potion from the list Lavinia looks to see what's next. There were only two more items left on the list, both of which Lavinia actually looked forward to making. LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: ... Next on Lavinia's list was Anti-poison Poultice, a leafy paste that is to be applied to the skin that removed poisons. A simple enough item, it requires two herbs and a tablet. All you have to do to use it is spread the paste over the area of infection and wrap it in the bandage. First step is to gather all the materials, walking over to the drying rack, Lavinia retrieves six identical herbs green herbs. There really is nothing special about these herbs visually and they are often used in medicinal potions that restore health. Her recipe book states that the herbs must be diced, walking over to the sink Lavinia cleans the knife from earlier and returns to the work bench. Taking two herbs Lavinia inspects them both, small, dry, perfect for what she needed. Lavinia then took a cutting board and placed it on the workbench and began dicing. When diced these herbs released a aroma much more pleasant than that of the herb used in sleeping potions, like mint but not mint. Once finished dicing Lavinia gathers up the pieces and adds them to a plastic container. As of right now the leafy pile in the container is just a pile of small bits of leaf, but this tablet will change that. Taking a tablet, Lavinia cracks it open between her fingers and lets the jell liquid drip onto the pile. She then takes the whole thin over to the sink and adds a bit of water and starts mixing. As she mixed the mass of leaf starts to become sticky and clump together, which is the desired effect. It takes a decent amount of effort to remove all the plant matter from the stirring utensil but after a moment it's and all that's left to do is package and label the poultice. Taking a normal spoon and another plastic container Lavinia begins scooping out the pasty herb mix and presses it into it's new container and then finishes with the lid. This new container is smallish and designed like something you would find makeup in back in the real world. Once that's complete Lavinia takes a paper label and applies it to the poultice container. Done, two more to go. Armor: Windsor Antiqua Robes: Lv5 Weapon: Windsor Antiqua Staff: Lv5 Made by Sileas; with help from Neun, Kyou, Saber, and Oxford. LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: ... Next one, Lavinia takes two more of the normal looking green herbs and inspects each. Both herbs appear to be small and dry exactly what she needs. Reacquiring the cutting board and knife from before Lavinia begins dicing the two herbs into smallish bits of leaf matter. As she diced the smell makes Lavinia want peppermint candies, the red and white round ones, yum. Once the dicing is complete the yummy smelling herbs were ready for the next step. Scooping the pile up and into a plastic container, Lavinia takes another tablet and cracks it open between her fingers letting the clear jell inside drip onto the pile. Taking the container to the sink and adding a little bit of water Lavinia then returns to the workbench to continue the craft. Stirring the mix until it's a clumpy sticky mess Lavinia takes her spoon and begins adding the green leafy mess to it's container. This isn't as easy as it sounds, the green mass likes to stick to everything, even the spoon. So getting all of it into the container is a chore. Once the green sticky mass is in the container Lavinia adds the screw on lid and slides the label into place. As Lavinia puts the finishing touches on this item she day dreams about her house some more. The container needs to be air tight, or the mix will dry early before it's used. This also gives the consumable a expiration date of about two weeks. One more to go.
