There had been talk amongst the few people she knew of, that the low level monters weren't exactly the smartest creatures in the game. In addition, the dull slimes seemed to be extraordinarily unimaginative, being pushovers for even the newest characters in the game. Knowing that there would be little to no challenge in just grinding them out for points and levels, Aka chose a different route to getting properly used to the game. The plan was simple. To get used to combat, dodging and running about, she'd be provoking as many slimes as she could. Allso just to see how many of them she could have chasing her at any given time. Aka was standing around on top of a hill, wearing nothing but the basic cloth that she had spawned into the game with. Its colors were bright red, yet of the cheapest fabric this world had to offer. The staff was tied over her shoulders to the back, almost longer in reach than she herself was tall. As she was standing there, the wind was softly tugging away at her clothes and hair. It was hard to argue that this couldn't be called a real world. In fact, considering how she could walk around in here, it might even have been her preferred alternative if she had ever gotten the chance to choose. In the distance she could see them, the targets of her bullying, the slimes. Lips parting in a grin, this was going to be extraordinarily fun! Before just darting in mindlessly however, she wanted to make sure that she had as nimble movements as possible. Opening up the spells menu, Aka quickly located the sigil she was searching for. The Seal of Aquarius, to boost her stats. Drawing in magical power, she drew the seal onto her own body, exclaiming softly. "Agility!" The buff quickly took effect, as her mana bar decreased ever so slightly. It took some getting used to all the menus and systems, but so far it was coming along quite well. While the sigil wasn't providing a huge increase, considering her extraordinarily low amount of stats, every little bit counted when being up to no good. It always had, and always would. From there, Aka detached the staff, wielding it in both of her hands. Running forwards, the mayhem would commense. The method was simple, really. Run up to the biggest, ugliest of the dull slimes, smack it once with the staff, then run off to hit the next one. Running in a circle, due to their slow speed, they'd then gather in one big group after a while. At least, that was the theory. As Aka smacked the fifth or sixth slime however, it occured to her, that she didn't have much in the ways of area of effect damage. In fact, she didn't have any damaging spells what so ever. Even so, she wasn't going to be one of the first adventurers having to flee a mob of angry slime. Turning around, she smacked on whichever of the slimes were closest, trying to back off before they could retaliate. While it was moderately successful, the slimes did manage to bump into her. It was a losing battle, there were too many slimes for just one person to handle...
"You're kidding me!" Aka squealed in glee. While a defeat was lurking just around the corner, and the story to her friends of having been defeated by slimes embarassing, at least she had gathered this many, right? The whole experiment had been quite fun, if she was to say so herself!

Let's fight without fear with a double-edged sword Of course, the blonde was moving through the begin area. She had been told by a helpful fox tail that it would be good for her to start here. The elf had to make sure she could find an enemy; that and learn how to fight with her skills relatively easily. One of her sub-classes, Pathfinder, was probably the best of help with this. After all, from what it sounded like, it could help her find paths... and monsters, or help guide her party. The blonde was moving into the area, when she realized she should probably use it in some manner. So she brought out the menu, happy to know where it was. With a small breath, she noted one of the skills she could use, and toggled it on. The effect was immediate, as she could see notifications with monsters popping up around her. If the normal perception was something around like ten feet, her range.. it was further. She would say.. maybe twenty? It was uncertain, because she wasn't sure of her normal range, but it was showing up monsters, and she could skillfully move through, and pick off those that were lonely. The elf felt calmer, as she continued to move through the forest; although, a cluster that popped up were odd. They were low leveled slimes, but there seemed to be.. quite a few. Something like five or six, perhaps more, clustered in a bunch? It was worrying, considering how they moved sporadically. In fact, it had peeked her curiosity, as the Samurai made her way to the area. What she found surprised her. A red haired, and clothed fox tail was running off from slimes. The blonde elf didn't think, as she drew her claymore. ''HIYAAAAH.'' she yelled out, letting out a sound to let the other know she wasn't alone. With another touch, she activated one of her Samurai skills; probably not the use it was intended for, as lightning began to race across her body. With a push, the greater agility she was offered allowed her to charge; she had very little context to the actual use of her skill, but she figured it was something like this, as she bolted down the area. Would she make it? It was only a question of inner fortitude! Besavel's form arrived before the Red Haired girl, and she swung that Claymore, clipping the first slime in the face; and then swinging it from that backswing, she got another on. That was two out of.. five that she counted, now targeting her. That wasn't enough, as she grit her teeth, and sent a third swing towards another slime. ''Quickly! Start moving, and if you have attacks, use them! I will try to distract these three.'' she said to the other girl, her presence calm, unruffled. There was a grace, a strength of will that made her willing to charge into this mess, and take the brunt of the damage; as the first slime tried to attack, it found itself electrified. The elf let out another breath, and began to back away slowly, bringing the monsters with her. Plausibly, she did more damage on a base level then the fox tail, that looked to have a staff. The claymore was intimidating in comparison, and probably did more melee damage. That was a relief for her, as it would probably help the other to take care of the other two. However, watching the cool down on her skill, she almost felt like taking a sharp breath. It was long. But that didn't matter, as the Samurai stood her ground, green eyes dangerous and sharp. She could only hope that the other would be able to turn the situation around to her advantage for the most part. That was.. the testy part of course. And this was, once again, Besavel rushing into something without thinking. Well if she died, she didn't die for good, right? That was a nice thing at least. There was another entering the area. A noisy one, perhaps out seeking for a lot of fun too? There would be plenty of fun to be had, especially now that they were more than one! Aka stopped dead in her tracks as the samurai got between her and the main pack of slimes. Tilting her head sideways, the first response was confusion. Then she realised that this samurai was trying to assist with the troubles. The only logical choice, was to start cheering."Go Elf-samurai-thing! Go Elf-samurai-thing!" The cheering was loud, happy and warm. It showed how much she appreciated the help! However, Aka only had a few moments to cheer. Danger was appproaching her. As the remaining slimes encroached upon her, Aka bent forwards, preparing to cast yet another spell. The mana subtracted, and she entered a casting state. Being able to direct her arrival, it felt kind of warm. Choosing her spot, and she was off through space. A light glow emerged from her skin, and a split second later a strange lightning esque sound was heard. The girl blinked forwards, completely out of harms way. The distance wasn't very far at all, but it was enough to give her time to prepare to fight her adversaries. While laughing, clearly happily so, the girl started to swing the staff at the slimes, almost dancing around while swinging madly. It wasn't very easy for her to fight, as her spells weren't really unlocked yet. Luckily, these small creatures weren't very touch. After a few solid hits, the first slime imploded, sending small blops of slime in every direction...
To avoid getting soaked in slime innards, Aka sprinted away. Or at least, so she had thought. Still too unprecise in her targetting and average awareness, she had ended up right next to the stranger elf. They were merely a few feet apart. The attempt to sprint just resulted in the girl running directly towards the elf. Turning her head, it was just a few moments too late. Unable to stop herself, since they were only a few steps apart, it was quite likely that Aka would give the poor thing an unfortunate bodyslam. One thing was certain, if they ended up on the ground, the slimes would be over them in mere moments. Not that it was super dangerous since they were two against four, at most. "L-look out!" The girl squealed. Not knowing what would happen, as she closed her eyes and prepared for impact.

Post by Kris on Jan 12, 2014 9:48:34 GMT
Kris was wandering around the area, thinking of taking down some «Dull Green Slime» to see if he could use the item drops to craft something like ink. It made sense if one thought about it in a certain way. Slimes were monsters whose body was exactly like jelly, and there was always that possibility that their physical make-up was like liquid underneath that elastic layer of... whatever their skin was made of. In order words, the insides of the «Dull Green Slime» was likely to be liquid, which could be a possible material for ink. He could also somehow turn the jelly into ink somehow, hopefully. He was not really clear on the ingredient details yet. With that in mind, Kris headed to the forest where he was bound to meet some «Dull Green Slime». What could he say drew him toward the fight? The distant sound of battle, the luck of walking down that path, or simply the fact that he was looking for monster to fight? Regardless of the reason, Kris noticed a battle between a sorcerer and the «Dull Green Slime»... at close proximity. "What is that person doing..." muttered Kris as he tried to figure out what could have possibly caused a sorcerer to be fighting at close range, without the use of a single spell, and only using the basic staff given to beginners to fend off the «Dull Green Slime», which seem to have gathered in quite a large group. Did that person seriously try to aggro that many «Dull Green Slime» without any offensive spells? Figuring he should help out, Kris hurried toward the area.
While he was on his way, a familiar blonde elf appeared within his sight. "Huh?" gaped Kris as Besavel suddenly appeared, attacking the «Dull Green Slime» with her claymore. Was she... trying to aggro the «Dull Green Slime» to make them focus on her instead of the sorcerer? thought Kris as he increased his pace towards the place. In normal situations, from Kris's experience in games, that might be the right choice, for a tank to draw the attention of the crowd of monsters, and the spell caster with the lower defence would shower the monsters with spells and destructive magic. However, the sorcerer in question didn't appear to have any offensive spells, since she had so much MP and yet not using a single spell, so that normal RPG way of thinking for a tank to rush in and let the spell caster do their magic was pretty much useless. Well, that is why I'm here, isn't it? thought Kris to himself as he reached a safe distance away from the heart of the battle, enough for him to intervene. "Summon: Stone Golem!" His MP took a dip as he used additional MP to summon a Stone Golem, despite the fact that it was soil all around him. "Let's help out," Kris told his summoned being as both of them charged towards the fray. His current grimoire had a range of 2 meters, so he planned to stay a slight distance away from the fight and shower the mob of «Dull Green Slime» with magic blasts as his grimoire's basic attack. His Stone Golem, on the other hand, was to charge into the middle of the battle and aggro as many of the «Dull Green Slime» as possible, and tank the damage instead of Besavel. He knew that Samurais had powerful skills with long cool down times, so he preferred to let his Stone Golem tank instead, since he could always summon another one if it got defeated, and he didn't like the idea of letting a player die if he could help it. It just didn't feel right after all.

Let's fight without fear with a double-edged sword Battle was difficult; Besavel was swinging her blade, cutting through a jelly, even as she noted that the red head had followed her idea. That was good, but it seemed that she didn't really have attack magic or something first, but something akin to support skills? That would be a bit difficult, but not as much as the elven woman thought. It would be easy to keep fighting, at the least, as her focus narrowed onto her target. With another stab, the one she had focused on exploded, slime flying everywhere; but her face was like stone. She had no problems being covered in a monster's insides because it meant she won and it lost. It was a fulfilling moment, as she took in a deep breath; her heart was set, ready to fight the next monster. That was before the fact she noticed a red blurr. A body was coming towards her; throwing out her arm, she tried to grab the fox and twirl her around, even as she moved back, the golem creature ambling itself into her view. Of course, it might happen that Besavel wasn't that quick, and bamf, tiny fox tail in her behind, and she'd fall over, but who knew how it would end up? In any case, Besavel would watch the golem. With a roar, it smashed into the slimes; if she had managed to grab the fox tail, she would let go then. If she fell, then she would get up. Either way she would push herself right into the fight, a matching roar ripping out of her throat. Her claymore swung, smashing one of the slimes straight into the golem, and let it smash the creature. ''Stay together, watch our flank Kris!'' she called out. How did she know it was the male? Simple. She had seen him as she had backed away, due to him coming in much closer to attack. The Samurai knew her skill would take a while to refresh, but she had a powerful gut, even as she kept an eye on the monster tags in her area. Well in a passing fashion; she smashed into the slime that had been after the red head, defending her temporary teammate. It was easy as breathing to the blonde blade user. Watching the beautiful arcs of her swords, watching them dance and cut through enemies, and mostly, the sheer confidence that she was right in helping this stranger, made her attacks seem.. well. She couldn't pin it herself, but someone else surely would be able to figure it out. Breathing out, she had stepped back again, to take stock of the fighting. Thus far, that was.. two, three at least that were killed between her and the red haired fox tail. Well the golem as well, but Besavel needed to step back, her hp, despite them being weak, had taken a beating because she had stood and fought against four of them. Another breath; she had to get ready. ''Don't lose hope, we've got this!'' she shouted out, as she brought her blade towards her. She was ready to charge again. But she would be patient, and let them fall into order. After all, she knew at least two of the other slimes would die.. maybe all three of them left. Who knew actually, it would end up how it did.. Wait when did the extra one get here? Dammit, they were pulling weren't they! She'd have to watch that, but the fight must be finished first! The elf had caught her, a bit as if she had been a tiny beach-ball, now held in a firm grip. Aka's tail was hanging loosely between her legs, and her ears were lowered as if being apologetic for the mistake. Albeit, this only lasted for a moment, before every sense was kicking into full gear again. Apparently Aka wasn't heavy enough to knock the elf over, which seemed to be their luck. At least neither of them would be buried under a pile of slime just yet. Hanging loosely in the grip for a moment, just as Aka was about to comment on being let go, as she wasn't exactly comfortable, the elf actually did let go. Tilting her head sideways, she watched speechless as the elf returned to battle immediately. Such a serious face, almost as if there was nothing about this that could've been a game. It made Aka feel a bit sad that people didn't have any fun with this game. At least, not to the same degree that she herself was! Though, if that was the elfs choice, Aka would be respectful. Afterall, Aka had got a helping hand before being humiliated by the slime. Thats when a boulder-like creature made its appearance, alongside its master summoner. Aka's eyes sparkled for a moment, as the stone-titan smashed its way through the helpless slime. When all this was over, there'd be absolutely no way she wouldn't investigate this creature of havoc. For now, however, she'd assist her two allies the best way she could. Running up behind the elf, Aka would attempt to place a hand on the elf's back and muttered lowly, just loud enough that her companion could hear her. "Strenght!" Embedding a seal of Aquarius into the elf, that should temporarily boost her strenght. Aka's mana pool was running dangerously dry, but she was having a blast!
From there, she vanished to the same subtle sound of lightning. Reapparing next to the summoner, Aka was breathing rather heavily, strained. Casting this much in succession was draining a ton of mana. Yet, as she had picked blink as her primary skill to begin with, there wasn't much in the way of fighting. For now, she'd have to rely on buffing her allies and whacking whatever came close enough with her staff. Waving as a greeting, a smile as bright as the sun itself was apparent on her lips. Aka would attempt to place her hand onto the summoners shoulder, muttering: "Wisdom." If successful, she'd have just buffed both of her allies, empowering them for a short duration. Clearly out of mana, there wasn't much more for Aka to do, than charge into battle with the staff held high. Roaring like a predator, she folllowed it up with a heart laughter. Swingíng the staff in broad strokes, and seemingly entirely randomly in whatever direction the nearest slime appeared to be, Aka appeared so careless that if one of her allies got in the way, she'd not hesistate to give them a smack or a swing too. A very chaotic little Fox tail indeed... Though, there was no mistaking it, Aka was having a great time, and it was painted over her every movement.

It had seemed as if everything had flashed before him, one moment he was staring into his screen walking out into a combat zone, the next moment it was as if he was actually in his character. His head burned in agony, his vision blurred. As Aeon stumbled through that forest dazed and dizzy, stumbling over his steps. He thought to himself “what the hell is this it’s like someone set a fire cracker off next to my head”
Aeon stumbled along some trees leaning into them as he tried to work his way back to town now lost in what felt like to his confused stated self like maze, as he made his way deliriously over roots, he caught his foot on an outcrop of a root.
Suddenly he was falling, falling down a slope, his grimoire flew from his grasp as he tumbled his way down the slope. The hilt of his longsword digging painfully into his gut, as he impacted repeatedly into the ground
As he fell head over heel, he caught his head on an outcrop with a nice crunch. He felt as if he had been hit this time.
Letting out a dull long groan, Aeon opened his eyes to a blurry vision to see 4 figures slightly away from him, one wielding a claymore, another with a grimoire in hand and another standing next to some large being that seemed to swirl with matter.
As he lay his head back down on its side, he could see his grimoire, as he tried to reach out to it just at the tip of his finger. His vision began to clear up, but his ears still rang. But now he could see under a small bush. Two dull green blobs that seemed to roll forwards like a slightly solidified liquid.

Sigil... Maker? thought Kris as a temporary symbol appeared on his skin. I'm pretty sure she said "Wisdom" when she touched me just now, so maybe... my stat has increased? Woah, that is actually a pretty sweet move if I think about it, especially at higher levels, Kris continued the thought as he fired (weak) bolt after (weak. Did I have to mention it twice?) bolt of magic from his grimoire at the «Dull Green Slime» in front of him. He mentally ordered the Stone Golem to keep the aggro focused on itself, and weaved his own way into position to shoot his basic magic attack available due to his grimoire. I really have to upgrade this thing some day, it's really doing quite little damage. My Stone Golem on the other hand... thought Kris as he compared the amount of HP depleted from the «Dull Green Slime» when his basic magic attack hit it, and when his Stone Golem gave the «Dull Green Slime» a good smack in the face (Slimes do have faces!! :D). Since his Stone Golem was dishing out sufficiently high damage, it had the aggro of the group of «Dull Green Slime» focused on it, but it was not going down that easily, since, well, it was supposed to be a tank, and it did have sufficient health regeneration capabilities to handle this level of «Dull Green Slime» anyways. This allowed the other two players from himself to be able to focus on attacking instead of purely defending. Elder Tales was weird that way. If one had aggro-ed a monster, that monster would appear to not notice the other players around it, as long as they do not deal devastating amounts of damage to it, which would cause the monster to focus the aggro on them instead. Samurais had taunts skills, as befitting of a warrior class, but regardless, Kris still felt it was too dangerous for Besavel to try to live up to its tanking potential at lower levels. It was better to let magical summons like Kris's Stone Golem here to take the hit instead.
The rustling of a bush nearby caught his attention. Is it another «Dull Green Slime»? How could he have missed that? It didn't make sense, after all. Monsters were drawn to battle due to the noise made or due to seeing lowered leveled players. Although he himself had just started off not too long ago, he had not met any monsters that didn't follow this trend, who would hide first and strike later. A dull groan was heard, which immediately dispelled all doubts that Kris was keeping within. He was technically a new player, after all, still experimenting with the system and testing his limits, so doubts about his current knowledge would appear ever so often. The groan indicated that it was a human - People of the Land or Adventurer, he wasn't sure, but at least it was not another «Dull Green Slime» or some other monster that roamed the area. Well, there was always the possibility of it being a PKer, scum who resorted to PK instead of facing reality, but Kris trusted his instincts, and his instincts was telling him that someone who was groaning in the bushes couldn't possibly be attempting any form of ambush on the group. Well... If that person was a PKer, he did have two temporary allies with him anyway, one of which was his friend, and the other looked trustworthy enough. "Hey, you okay back there?" said Kris as he fired another basic magic attack from his grimoire, deciding to wing it and figure out what that person in the bushes was here for. His Stone Golem continued to keep the «Dull Green Slime» busy.

Let's fight without fear with a double-edged sword Luckily for Besavel, the fox tail was light enough to carry. To be fair, her claymore was quite heavy by itself. The samurai also had a strong footing, being a class that relied on strong movements to keep themselves from toppling over. She just offered a grateful smile to the fox tail; just her presence there would be more then good enough. Her safety, was good for the one that should have been a knight. However, the fox girl didn't seem content with just leaving it be; she ran up to the Samurai, but the touch on her back was almost.. gentle. And then the soft muttered word of strength echoed in her ears, and a surge of strength surged through her body. Well, well, this was definitely interesting! The smile on her lips grew once more, and she nodded to the fox tail. The creature of course, ran thick into the fight, but Besavel understood. She was feeling it too; the addictive feeling of fighting. Besavel herself found that the Golem and the Sorcerer was doing something interesting; they were managing without her, along with Kris slowly beating on a slime. Although, she noted her eyes around, spotting.. well darn maybe they had to walk into a bad place at the wrong time. There was a lot of slimes, coming in from the aggro of getting slime bits chucked on their own hides. And then she noticed the sheer numbers she was seeing within her distance. She was.. speechless. They would need at least one more person, this was going to be stupidly dangerous. But a grin touched her lips. With a sudden burst, she was flying; well not flying per say, but the Samurai was dashing towards a pair of slimes, little crawly bastards. With a stomp, she was behind them and smacked them; lucky for her, Kris was just about right there. ''Hey Kris, watch it you almost got yourself attacked from behind!'' she said, quickly ejecting one with her blade like a levy, sending it flying at the golem. That left the one still here, and she smacked it. But as she had ran to the slimes, she had noted the poor guy that had flopped in the bushes; they were nearly on top of him too. ''Get up, we need your strength, we won't make it at this rate.'' she said, not sternly, but clearly, as she began to run again. Hopefully, the mage type, as she saw a grimmoire on the ground, would take care of the slime that she had aggro'd already. Besavel's body flew, as if she was used to running track, her blonde bangs fluttering in the sunlight. Indeed, they had killed the original five slimes; but in their place, six more had arrived. Those six were down to three, but Besavel could see a good four more coming in; it was probably starting to wear on their bodies. ''Don't give up! There's not that many left!'' she called out, her voice shouting. She wanted to give them courage. The Samurai noted that her breath was ragged, obviously excited from the combat. She was.. having fun, fighting with them. It made her.. entirely happy, as the Samurai just weaved her way into more enemies, letting the Golem take the damage. At least, for now, for her time to shine would be as she leveled up, and got better weapons. But for now.. she wouldn't begrudge Kris' attempt to protect her. She could recognize that. She'd have to thank him in some method much later, when the enemies were gone and she was free to do as she wanted to once more. Just as Aeon managed to get his fingers on his grimoire and pull it to him but by now the two slimes had closed on him, as he got to his feet they made their offensive both struck the flat-footed sorcerer.
Jumping back he had the sudden pain of what felt like 100’s of small needles being jabbed into him, like he was being burned by acid or something along those lines. His health dropped to 70% from their two attacks.
Aeon called out as if speaking aloud to himself “Gah! Are these things meant to be acidic or something”.
Stepping back to gain more distance on the slimes, Aeon opened up his grimoire in his left hand and began using it to cast a few ranged magic missiles on the slimes in front, they didn’t seem to give too much of a hurt but at least it allowed him to be able to move and stay out of range of them for the time being.
Now it seemed he was just standing still, as he allowed the 2 slimes to hit him, his health moved down to 46%.
Jumping forward as they hit him passing behind the slimes, the runes on his hands glowed as he cast, Force Shield. A faint blue film of a bubble appeared around him, “now this should help”.
As he continued to Kite the two slimes that were attack him.
Before finally as a magic missile struck the Vanguard (Dull Green Slime) it popped into a show of a couple of gold coins.
Thinking aloud yet again, Aeon said “surely if these are slimes shouldn’t they clump together to become a big slime”

Edit Addition:
The remaining slime turned it gaze from Aeon onto the samurai, It slithered its way across the ground in her direction. "ok ok give me a second i do feel to good i just fell down a hill, cant i ever catch a break" Aeons eyes were still in the process of readjusting and he still felt slightly off balance.

The melee fighting style of Aka was based mainly on her experiences from martial arts, Capoeira. Moving around in a stance called Jenga, the staff was following her hands as if it was a part of her body. As Aka moved forwards, she sent the staff whirling sideways into the slime. Using the spin and momentum, Aka tumbled sideways, immediatelly getting out of reach from the slime. It wasn't quite as elegant as she had once been able to perform it in real life, nor was she able to inflict serious damage with kicks and punches, but the knowledge of how to fight still assisted in properly utilising her staff. In essence, to the onlookers, it would look quite a bit like genuine a fox that was playing around with its prey. Perhaps she should've chosen to work with martial arts rather than magic afterall. Though, magic had compelled her quite a bit, since she already knew how to use limited amounts of martial arts. Plus, there was nothing quite like blasting foes with some kind of powerful spell. The main thing that had attracted her to play a sorcerer though, was a single ability, blink. This skill had as many uses as the mind would allow. Liking potential and valueing skill and versatility, there had been no discussion when the races and classes were to be picked.
Thats about when Aka tripped and faceplanted into the grass with a low thud. The most annoying bit of movement in this world however, was getting used to having a tail that assisted with the balancing act, and this time she had overbalanced herself with it, creating more forward momentum than she had expected. The result was clear as day... For the most part, she kept the tail wrapped around her waist, but it really did have applications in keeping ones balance, as soon as she'd get properly accustomed to it. The real trick was, that getting accustomed to using it, would take quite the bit of training. Looking up from her downed position, the first thing she saw was the stone-golem crushing another helpless slime underfoot. It was about at that time, that the girl lost focus on the slimes, and turned her attention towards the stone golem again. Curiosity peaked, there would be nothing keeping her from investigating the summoned creature. The slimes could easily wait, and they were, in honesty, more dull than their names suggested. Aka gathered magical energies and disappeared in another flash. Using the staff as measurement, the girl had blinked closer to the golem. Running forwards, she placed the staff into the ground and used it like a pole. Jumping, Aka attempted to get atop of the stone golem, preferably getting onto one of its shoulders. If successful, she would waste absolutely no time in poking it, checking it for eyes (and covering them if found..) its ears, nose, everything. Aka wanted to know how much the creature was reacting upon command, and how much it was reacting on its own senses. "Hi there mister Golem!" The girl shouted, waving frantically and trying to hold on and avoid being knocked off with all of her ability. So far, she had not noticed the intrusion of another individual. The golem had claimed most of her immediate attention.

"Hm? Thanks!!" hollered Kris to Besavel for watching his back and protecting him. It was a basic thing to do, really, thanking people that is. However, one would be surprised at how often one could lose themselves in battle, even in the past, even when there was a computer screen to give them a clear view of what's happening, and even more so now that their game has now become their reality, and thus, forget even the simplest act of thanking. After, he heard Besavel shouting some encouragements that there were not many left, and sighed a little. Things wouldn't appear so tense if it was really ending, now, would it? If only I had more summons at my disposal, then things would be wrapped up much faster, thought Kris inwardly as he sighed once again as he fired a bolt of magic from his grimoire at a a «Dull Green Slime» before him. Summoners specialized in the versatility and range of their magic, due to the large number of summons available within the game, as well as the fact that their summoned beings could be controlled from quite a distance away, giving the Summoner class additional range to their attacks.
While concentrating on firing magic bolt after magic bolt at the Slime to wear down its HP, Kris could hear the loud complaints of the Slimes being acidic upon touch. Oh, that's new, thought Kris, who hasn't gotten close enough to the «Dull Green Slime» due to his Stone Golem tanking for him at the moment, to actually take a direct hit. Not that he was itching to experience how it felt himself, of course. He filed that information somewhere within his head, where it could possibly be used in the future to describe «Dull Green Slime» features or something random like that. Kidding. It was filed under "most unpleasant things to avoid". Getting showered in acid isn't fun after all.
Just as Aeon commented how Slimes should mix together to form a last boss, possibly a reference from another game in Kris's opinion, a sudden movement near his Stone Golem caught his eye. "What's wro-" Kris began to say, then realized that it was just Aka using her sorcerer magic to teleport on top of his Stone Golem. "Hey! Leave it alone! We need it to aggro and tank for us!" Kris shouted to catch her attention. Damn, guess I should go manual then, thought Kris, seeing that Aka wasn't really bothering and was too engrossed with his Stone Golem to care. He gave the «Dull Green Slime» before him one final kick, shattering it into items and coins, and moved to view the front of his Stone Golem instead of its back, a slight distance away from the battle. Move that right arm, take a step forward, punch it, Kris mentally projected his thoughts to his Stone Golem, making it move as he wanted. Truely, a manual style of doing things. But necessary since the Stone Golem was his main attacking force, damager and tank all in one at the moment. Trusting his back to Besavel, he increased his focus on the battle his Stone Golem was having with the three «Dull Green Slime» remaining before it.

Let's fight without fear with a double-edged sword Of course, it was like time itself was slow to the Samurai. The one that had tumbled down the cliff, as they claimed, was inconsequential to her. In fact, it was like he was acting in a fantasy; but that was besides the point. The Elf had made an effort to acknowledge, even approach the male, but indeed, it had been in a way for naught. She ignored everything else at that point, letting the male do whatever he chose. In fact, he choose to just let himself to become a target, and it was not something the elf could do anything about it. In fact, she could only draw the third slime, which had joined up sometime in the rush, away from the male.. despite there only be two. Luckily for the male, Besavel was strong; they hadn't scratched much of her hp, as the golem came in time to help. Generally, it was still a while before her skill would come back. She realized that she would need more skills; basic combat, for Besavel, was done mostly by instinct. Why? Because she had no idea that she wasn't supposed to just feel things; she just threw around her blade, struck, wanted her skill, got it. It was interesting, as she realized quickly she herself would need to fight.. or find herself in peril because of menus. Of course, Kris had thanked her, and the blonde just flashed a smile. She felt alive; she felt strong, and willing to take on the world, simply because fighting seemed to make her feel.. free. They may have been trapped; the real self acknowledged that. However, Cordelia was not an existence in this world; Besavel however, was. Therefore, that's what was important; that the self in this world be happy. Like a dream, or a role play.. she remembered her friends being into roleplays. Her heels dug into the ground, and the claymore swung, hitting the slime, causing it to fade off into a pile of coins, slime bits flying harmlessly. It made sense; attack one kind of monster, and they could swarm you. Any other monster caught in their rampage would come too.. that's why they had so many to deal with currently. This didn't really make Besavel angry; rather, the Fox tail's method of aggravating several, and then dragging them into an open area to fight, along with several more coming, was fun to the elf. She could feel her blood pumping, and spinning, breathing out softly as she closed her eyes for a moment, blinking. The next movement was now! The elf nodded to herself, and pushed off the ground, once again running. Running towards combat, and danger, aiming to take the entire of the world with her. She flew straight towards the last batch, knowing that there were no more. In that blink, she had twirled right after; and seeing no more monster names, she turned her body towards the last, and knew. The only three left were the ones in front of the Golem, as she saw her skill finish refreshing. ''HIYAAAAAAAAH'' she shouted once more; with a snap, electricity was around her body once more, as she zoomed into one of the slimes, the claymore clashing. The second it turned around to attack, it was electrified, and her claymore swung again, getting a second hit. The blonde grinned, knowing.. knowing she had just done something pretty cool. She would kill this slime, and that meant two were left.. one if the Golem finished it off. It was almost over! Besavel could taste the ending with this strike, and thus her heart bounced softly in excitement. They.. would win, regardless of anything that happened! That excitement, that knowledge was warm to the elf. She was glad that they had begun this journey, and would end it beautifully, fighting to the last! The sense of victory is what made Besavel happy most of all, and that showed up in the smile that she had. Aeon took his sword in hand, he spotted two or so slimes attacking a……..
Holy ****, Aeon thought as his vision had cleared up and there was this moving hulk of rocks, crunching its way into its battle against its slimes, the thing stood tall and statue like it seemed in Aeon’s mind that it must have taken a heavy toll on the caster to summon something like that.
Aeon had noticed the sword wielding figure had finished up with their slimes and was “celebrating” in the middle of combat, such a rookie move leaving your guard down when fighting that would get killed.
Aeon also noticed there seemed to be something squirming over the golem, something with a tail, Aeon thought what the heck is going on here what type of people had he managed to drop in on.
Aeon dropped his right hand down to his right hip, inverting and rotating his hand to hold the handle of the sword hanging from his right hip.
Aeon took a target of the closest slime to him to the side of the golem and made the charge at his target as he reached attack range.
He went down into a slide on his left knee while keeping his right foot planted into the ground as he made an attempt to slash the smallish slime in a upwards ark.

Time had been ticking, a lot of slimes had been defeated, and the battlefield in all honesty was starting to lose interest. The Golem was regenerating HP quicker than the slimes could take it down, and it didn't seem to be responding much to her attempt at pissing it off at all. Taking a brief look around and listening to the muffled complains of the summoner, Aka took a deep breath and sighed softly. Yep, swining her staff at slimes had gotten increasingly boring over the past couple of minutes, and the fact that noone seemed to be getting in trouble anytime soon meant that this was a foolish game to play. There was no excitement or fun to be had in these confines, against these dull slimes. Rhyme?! Smiling widely at her own intellect, she decided it was time to move on. This was going to be the end of that little adventure, at least for her part. Figuring at least some of the others would continue their heroic battle against the slimes, she couldn't say she shared the same kind of interest. If the others wanted to continue smacking slimes for the rest of eternity, she wouldn't be one to stop them from doing so. At least Aka felt she had provided the group with enough support to warrant her leaving the scene. With a gentle jump, the girl landed in the grass with her back turned in the general direction of the group and the slimes. The path before her was clear, and she intended to leave immediately. Attaching the staff to the straps over her back, she looked thoughtful for a brief moment. The day had only just started, and there was so much fun to be had, so many places to explore and so many things to try! Now that she had started training her sigilmaking and sorcerer classes, she'd have to make sure she got her crafting class up to the same kind of par. Else, knowing herself, she was likely to not bother with the hassle in the future. Afterall, a lot of other players woudl be mechanics aswell, at which point she could just have them make her whatever she needed. With a loud shout and an enthusiastic tone, she yelled to the group.
"Bye you guys! I'm going to go train my mechanic skill!" With that, the tiny foxtail started running through the grass, headed off towards a new adventure in the horizon. For now, she planned to look through the ruins of London. In there, she was sure to be able to find some appropriate litterature, right?

Let's fight without fear with a double-edged sword Of course, Besavel could tell that they had managed to defeat the enemies; at least for now. It made her quite proud about it, as she gave off a grin too, nodding to herself. It was a beautiful accomplishment, as she let her breath escape, the male helping to kill the slime. It was over; all of them were dead. The blonde closed her eyes, and nodded her thanks at the group; however, as the last slime exploded, the fox tail seemingly ran out of there, like something had bitten her tail off or some such. It was a shame that she couldn't understand.. the victory they had achieved. Besavel just gave a sigh, and shook her head, making sure to remember the fox-tail for next time. It just seemed like a waste to leave so early, as the girl made stock of their kills and loot, and looked at the experience they gained too. It was almost good, as she just smiled to herself. It seemed like the other male was just focused on killing the last slime, and hadn't done much beyond that, so the blonde sheathed her two handed claymore. Maybe she should get some one to make her a better weapon, and soon, simply because her levels were going up faster then she assumed they should have. After all, this was her first game like this. She was surprised she hadn't died yet; then again, it was probably because she was always with a lot of other people. For some reason.. people liked swarming over opportunities. Not that she blamed them, today was one such thing as well. But perhaps it was something to be learned for the future. The knightly elf then turned around to the male, and frowned for a moment, not sure on what to talk about. ''We did a good job. We should be proud of our work.. and possibly should return to recover.'' she said simply, as she felt awkward. Kris had either retreated or fallen silent, she wasn't sure which, but the blonde felt.. well as if she shouldn't be here anymore. It felt intensely awkward, so she just dusted her clothing, and set her shoulders straight. She would preform an exit, but not by being rude. ''My name is Besavel. I will see you around sometime. Good bye.'' she said briskly, and clear cut. She would wait for the male's name, and then leave, her steps heading towards.. somewhere. She wasn't sure if she wanted to go deeper into the forest, or towards the town, considering her mana and hit points. She wasn't fully capped on either, and her hit points had taken a bit more of a hit then she had assumed at first. So perhaps heading back and healing would be nice. The elf was undecided on this point, but she figured she would go where her steps lead her; either that be to town, or deeper in the forest. Regardless of such, she was done with this occasion. And left with a feeling of immense victory, glad of their win over the army of slimes. The Last of the Slimes were felled by the party, combat had ended they had been victorious somehow, but a victory was a victory and for this low level PUG team Aeon was happy he had come out alive. The fox tail who had been harassing the golem half the battle had already darted on into the forest before the fight had even ended which of course was much better than them staying and continuing to annoy the golem.
Aeon stood hands on knees, breathing rather heavily, this first fight had taken rather a lot of energy out of him, after the falling and then the dizzy fighting it wasn’t a very efficient use of his energy. He was covered by goblets of slime from the exterminated creatures the goo seemed to stick quite well to his clothing as he tried remove it leading it to start getting stuck to his hands.
Aeon found himself approached by a young woman, pointed ear, armoured in shiny metallic chinking armour and a large sword.
Aeon listened to her greeting and farewell all in one sentence that was rather efficient.
Aeon Force Shield bubble crackled and collapsed the blue hew dispersing as the field rapidly collapsed.
Aeon answered breathing rather heavily, “Name’s Aeon, you showed some good swords play back there”
As the group dispersed off into the woodland back to town, Aeon tried to straighten himself out and stand up properly, placing his hand over his aching flank.
Aeon began trying to make his way back to the city through the forest, best bet was most likely to follow one of the others who hadn’t become lost like himself.
