Agata was one for exploration more than going out in the field. The fact that he was still level one, had cheap starting equipment, and didn't even bother to level up his pharmacy. Nothing to test his Gunner skills on too. He was more or less just wandering around and about Londinium. One can say the good news was that he knows it almost by memory but one can say it was bad he was making no progress for himself. Even Agata believes that there is a limit to laziness...well...at least that was what he told himself in his head.
Thus, Agata is here...exploring what was known as St.Pancras Station. This was one of the few places he didn't visit often during his time loitering around in Londinium. The other would be the underground but that's because he heard and gathered enough information that it would be suicide exploring there without help of some kind. Again, he only has his two weapons and his cheap leather armor to rely on. Thankfully, there doesn't seem to be anything here (That he has heard off) so he didn't feel the need to put his combat gear on. Really for a guy stuck in an online game, any onlooker would notice that this guy sure is taking his time.
"What to do..." Agata wondered to himself as he continued to as he walked around. He heard this place was a place where one can practice crafting or function as a market place. He did see a person or two around. Maybe he could learn a thing or two himself before he sets out? Agata sat down on a nearby rock to relax himself as he watched various players pass on by. It wasn't until he noticed someone walking toward him. "Hello, can I help you?" Tag: Open Words: 306 Notes: None

Another day with nothing to do, what fun. So far all Frigus had done in this world was gain control for his new body and wander around aimlessly. He could head out adventuring, like many others appeared to be doing since the Catastrophe. But the thought of perishing in this world was still something he feared. Without anyone he felt comfortable talking to Frigus simply wandered around in London like the day before, thinking of everything that could go wrong. What if he got cut in the arm during a fight, would it hurt as much as it would in real life? Or what would happen if he lost a limb in a fight, would only respawn when he revived at the Cathedral he had visited? He had so many questions, and so little answers.
Simply walking across St. Pancras Station now Frigus could be considered to have the appearance of someone who hadn't made any progress in the game. Wearing starter clothing and using his beginner staff as he walked he didn't look quite elegant. But this didn't bother him too much as of the moment, since he was deep in thought. Walking straight down the path he barely took in the people around him, or even thought of speaking to them, until someone spoke.
"Hello, can I help you?" asked an individual with jet black hair. They were slightly taller than Frigus, but not by much. With pale skin to go with his dark hair he looked a bit, irregular. "Hey" replied Frigus, who held onto the y for a second or two, not too sure of what to say. He could say he didn't need anything, or he could ask him a question. But he had to say something quickly, so he chose to ask a simple question. "How ya doing today?"

"Hey." A boy with brown hair started to walk up to him. Agata's eyes wandered to the status screen of the person he was now in conversation. Frigus? He took in the awkward silence to try to mentally pronounce the name of the person he was going to speak with. Though now at this point, Agata was wondering what business this particular individual had. "How ya doing today?" Agata tilted his head. So this person simply wanted social activity? Well, given the stress that is present with the Catastrophe, one would worry first, not grind first. Then again, Agata can't exactly call himself a shining example since he spent his time bumming out in the middle of Londinum.
"I'm doing fine. My health is at a hundred percent and I have no status aliments or debuffs!" Agata chuckled. "I guess that is in bad taste to say considering the situation we're in." He wondered what should he talk about now that this person desired small talk instead of directions towards some place here with in the station or up in town. "I am simply a wanderer at the moment. Well...wanderer would imply that I've been outside. As you can see from my status, I haven't been doing much of that. So I sit around here, over hear information, and so on." Agata stood up from the rock and stretched. "What about you? Any plans to head out of here?"

"I'm doing fine. My health is at a hundred percent and I have no status aliments or debuffs!" said the male; before chuckling and stating a few words about how what he said might not have been appropriate. It didn't bother Frigus too much, what the boy had said. All he simply did was nod, before letting his eyes wander to the boy's username. Agata. Ah-ga-tah? Didn't sound like an English name, or username rather. But then again, his probably didn't either. Heck, he didn't even know how to pronounce his own username properly. Like many of the names he used for games he popped a word into Google translate and used whatever came out in Latin.
Nodding occasionally at the rest of what Agata had to say Frigus simply listened. "What about you? Any plans to head out of here?" were the last words Agata asked, which echoed in his head. Any plans to head out of London, and into the wilderness? Honestly, he didn't have any intention to. Not until he got some more information at least. He could ask Agata some of the questions which he had been asking himself on his way here. That could be good, but at the same time not good. What if he scared him off, which could be very well possible.
"Uh, yah. Yep" he said, which had doubt written all over it. All he could do now was play it safe, maybe he could get some information as he and Agata spoke.

"Uh, yah. Yep." There was some doubt in the summoner's voice. He seemed nervous about something. Come to think of it, this conversation had an awkward air about it so far.
"Oi, Free..." Agata eyed the name one more time. "Freegust, what's to be nervous about?" Of course, Agata wouldn't keep his doubts and assumptions to himself. "'Well I guess that is a silly question given all that has happened so far." Agata looked up at the ruined ceiling in thought."Is there something you're not sure about? I've been hanging around and collecting info for quite some time. Good grinding spots, skills, so on so forth."

Well, that was one way to pronounce his username. Whether it was the right way though, he wouldn't be able to say. He thought it was pronounced Free-g-us, but that was just his opinion. Thoughts about his username didn't last long however, for Agata brought up the topic of him being nervous. Since he apparently, was showing how he was feeling quite clearly. "I uh, err" he said, speaking before he had any clue of what he was going to say. He had to think fast of what to say, which was going to be difficult. Apparently this guy had a fair amount of information about this world so far, so it could be safe to tell him about his worries. But of course, Frigus tip toed around saying what was on his mind directly. "I'm not sure how to fight properly! Not quite sure how to use my abilities, and how creatures can react." He said, before pausing for a moment. "Can they uh, lose limbs like us in a fight in this world?" He said.
If all went well Agata would correct him about the losing a limb portion of what he had said. And heck, he might even teach him how to fight in this world. That was the truthful part of what he had told him, in a sense. Asking him about creatures losing limbs was technically truthful, but moreover with a different purpose than what one would usually want from asking such a question. Now all he had to do was hope and wait. Hope that Agata wouldn't suspect him of anything suspicious. It was highly unlikely that he would, but it might happen.

"I, uh, err."
"You're not going to be able to send a clear message speaking that way." Agata said, sitting back on the rock that he was resting on earlier. "Do you feel more comfortable in another language? Mind you my only other language skills lies in Asian languages of some form. Is Asian languages now part of London's standard curriculum?" Agata entered Europe when he was in college so he wouldn't exactly know.
"I'm not sure how to fight properly! Not quite sure how to use my abilities, and how creatures can react." Agata tilted his head. He eyed the Summoner class that was on display in the boy's status window. "Can they uh, lose limbs like us in a fight in this world?" Agata crossed his arms and looked up in the ruined ceiling to think about how he should answer. Well, this is to be expected he guessed. Not everyone was experienced with this sort of thing, especially due to the situation he was in.
"Well, your answers can't exactly be solved in a simple manner...but I'll do my best." Agata got up from the rock and then summoned his sword from his inventory, albeit sheathed. He also presented his hols-ted gun. "I don't know your weapon so I can't say anything. In general, you and I have very different abilities. I am a Swashbuckler, a duel wielding specialized class that has a high attack speed and well known for being able to inflict debuffs and being able to strike at multiple enemies at once. It is a very weapon combat based class." Agata then lowered the sword and then started to tie the belt with the gun around his waist. "You, on the other hand, are a Summoner. You have low HP but you can summon a large variety of powerful minions to assist you. However, I overheard from the locals that you have to get new summons by completing some kind of quest. You are essentially a versatility mage who has minions who can shield you." With that logic though, maybe Agata should've chosen Summoner. Then again, Agata wasn't sure he was completely okay with the low health point stat and growth.
"As for how creatures react, you're going to have to collect that info on your own. Most of the monsters have behavioral patterns. To start off with the ones you can commonly find around the borders of this very city, they're Green Slimes who are curious. They won't do battle but they aren't afraid of going near Adventurers. The Young Pittered Boars and the Fernmic Rabbits are doclie. They're completely non-combative until they're attacked." Agata took a deep breathe after all the talking. "As for lose limbs, I do not know. I figure if it could happen to us, it could happen to them. Maybe it is symbolized as a status alignment for this expansion. Who knows. That might be something I have to test." Agata looked up over back at Frigus. "So Frigus, is there anything that I could be missing that you asked about? If my information isn't worthwhile I can point you into places that are great player gatherings."

Would he feel comfortable speaking in another language? Certainly not, because he could only speak English fluently. Him speaking in another language would be practically impossible, since from past experiences he learned that he would only butchered foreign words. So, deciding to still answer Agata's question he replied with a simple "no." Assuming that Agata was from some Asian country Frigus didn't bother to tell him that most people here most likely wouldn't be able to speak anything he knew besides English. So, simply listening now he hoped that Agata would provide the information he desired. If all went well after this conversation he would be more confident about going out into the wilderness. And heck, he might even learn how to use some of his spells properly.
And he should have brought a notebook because he wasn't going to remember what Agata said about what a Swashbuckler could do. Oh well, it probably wasn't very important as of the moment anyway. But what was important was the information on how he could apparently do quests for more summons and how creatures could react to adventurers. It was somewhat disappointing to know that Agata wasn't quite sure about how bodies work in this world. But he still got some fascinating information, so it was alright.
"So Frigus, is there anything that I could be missing that you asked about? If my information isn't worthwhile I can point you into places that are great player gatherings" said Agata.
"Hmm," Frigus said, trying to think if he wanted to ask Agata anything else. Honestly, he couldn't think of anything. The conversation had settled him down a bit, and what he said about Summoners using summons to fight reminded him that he wouldn't be at the front line. "Nope, not really." He said, unsure of what he should say now. Should he continue the conservation, or should he not? And how would he do either one? Just up and walk off, or start talking about something new?

For Agata's question, all he got was a simple 'no'. Asian languages weren't part of the curriculum? That was odd. Wasn't Mandarin now considered one of the top three trade languages? Agata almost wanted to shake his fist at his schools for teaching him English then. Then again, he was already concerned when his country says, without a tint of irony or humor, that they want to be a three language fluent nation.
"Hmm," Frigus thought for a moment. "Nope, not really." Agata shrugged as his sheathed weapons were magically stored away. He started to lie on the rock he was sitting on, relaxed as if he was about to sleep on a lawn chair at a beach. Agata might as well pointed him in the right direction since he will likely have more questions in the future and he might as well be helpful.
"Go to the Old Parliament Building, people usually tend to gather there. Even if you don't decide to speak with anyone and just overhear what small chat people have to say, you'll find yourself with a surprisingly astounding treasure trove of information. Now if you'll excuse me..." Agata stretched and adjusted his position as he got more comfortable on the rock bed. At this point, Agata was now at the peak of relaxation.

After having listened to what Agata had to say Frigus began to draw out a rough idea of what he would be doing for the next little bit. It was all quite simple, really. Head over to the parliament building to gather information for whatever he found to be a reasonable amount of time. Or until he felt like he had gathered enough information, whichever one occurred didn't matter all too much. Then he would possibly head out into the wilderness as to level his main class, or try to level one of his two sub classes. Everything would hopefully go as planned, hopefully.
But in the mean time he should probably stop staring down at Agata as he lied upon the rock because it might appear slightly creepy to strangers walking by. He had just been staring into space, and his eyes had wandered into the position in which they now lay. It honestly wasn't intentional, but that still didn't change that he quickly moved his eyes away. "So uh, I'ma just leave you to yourself" he said, as he turned to look for what direction to take. Now how would he get Parliament Building from here exactly? Shouldn't be too hard. Emphasis on the shouldn't, which meant he would probably get lost knowing his sense of direction.
