Hp:100 Mp:100Zyrune quivered as his body erupted in a soft green hue that seemed to engulf his entire body, imbuing him with warmth and happiness but for just a moment before fading. "That's strange..." The druid thought aloud. Opening up his interface he couldn't help but smirk as he noticed that his level had increased to level 4. Inwardly celebrating, he noticed his mana and hp bars are also increased somewhat due to the level gain. At least something good came out of all this fighting... Letting out a sigh of relief as he studied the swashbuckler before him. Despite Zyrune's healing spells repairing a significant portion of the adventurers hp bar, exhaustion had taken over the man's body, it was clear from the way he had tried to speak, however the swashbuckler seemed to quickly remedy the situation as a soft melody in his ear notified him to a new mail. "No, I did't hep tat much. Pen an I woudnt be her if t weret fo you,". Chuckling Zyrune smiled as nodded in response to the swashbuckler. Although the message looked as if it had been written by someone who had never used a keyboard before, he could still make out the message. However as the sound erupted again, he tilted his head in confusion as a new message displayed before him. It was beyond eligible at least by the druid's standards. "I wan you t be wit us o or traels,". Glancing quickly towards the swashbuckler he wanted to ask what it meant but soon realized that was impossible given the man's current state. For a few moments, Zyrune read the message internally and aloud, still stumped by the cryptic message until it hit him like a slap to the face, immediately he felt the blood rush to his face it turned a crimson shade of red. Chuckling with his head buried in his palms, he gave a slight nod. Letting his palms drop, Zyrune stared wide eyed at the swashbuckler's attempts to stand, letting out a concerned gasp as he rose to his feet to try support the man."Pen, I need you to help Aria. I want you murder anyone who tries to hurt her," The man's voice was raw and sounded like his throat was on fire. As he turned to gaze at Zyrune, the druid paused in his movements letting the man speak. "Same goes for you... Zyrune. I need you to help Pen. Don't worry about me. I'll be there... in no time," In an instant the swashbuckler collapsed backwards from exhaustion, his body hitting the ground with a heavy thump that the druid guessed had been more or less negated by the heavy amount of green beneath the swashbuckler's body. "I just need... a little rest. I'll be fine. My HP isn't going anywhere. I'm just... exhausted..." Zyrune heard the man breath as he lay bathed in the sunlight. Shaking his head, the druid understood what the man had meant. Despite his body having been healed from his experience and level gain, his body still felt as if it had just run a marathon. His legs and arms ached not only from where they had taken damage but in other places too, he doubted that they would be able to keep moving with a small break. Still his instincts told him to stay sharp, that young girl from before, the one the swashbuckler had tried to protect, she was missing and before they could rest, they needed to know what had happened to her. "Zy, help me with this melodramatic bastard, would ya." The guardian's voice broke the silence and for a moment the druid's heart jumped. Zy... Even though the woman had probably been to tired to say his entire name, the druid couldn't help but feel like the woman trusted him somewhat at least enough to indirectly give him a nickname. Smiling inwardly, the half-alv watched as she tried to wake the swashbuckler. "Oi, this is no time to rest. I know it hurts and your tired but we gotta get Aria and go." A nudge of her foot. "Come on." He couldn't help but shake his head and purse his lips disapprovingly. "That's not good," He commented as he knelt to help the guardian lift him as she ordered him to put his armor away. At good as that suggestion was, if they were attacked and the swashbuckler didn't have his armor on, he wouldn't be much help, then again even with his armor Zyrune doubted he could do much in his current state. The sooner they found the young girl and left this area, the better. Hp:100 Mp:100WC: 777 Abilities Used: Tagged: Ashtver Pen DdraigNotes: Pen Ddraig I enjoyed your post. Still half asleep, Ashtver heard Pen calling him something like a "Melodramatic bastard". I'm not melodramatic, I'm just... Ok, I guess I'm a little melodramatic. I do need to help Aria, though... He could somewhat feel his two allies lifting him together, although he was still unaware of his surroundings. Suddenly, Pen called from the distance of his mind to wake up, and wake up he did. His eyes snapped open, and his head cocked up to take in the familiar surroundings. He recognised it as the place where he shed just a little too much blood of other players just a few seconds ago. He looked to his side at Pen, who told him to remove his armour, supposedly to help them lift him. Obediently, although clumsily, he navigated his menu with the arm around Pen's neck and unequipped his heavy Plate Armour from his character model. He felt himself become half as heavy, and his allies lift him much easier, requiring less effort to lift his body. Then again, I'm a light Swashbuckler. I want to know how I carry that Plate Armour on my torso all day. He felt himself grow slightly less tired, having the exhausting weight lifted off of him. Sure, he might not have been able to fight, had they been attacked, but he could at least support the others. Ashtver pointed towards the dense forest ahead, the forest where he had hidden Aria. The three strolled through the woods, a dead weight as the middle, looking left and right for a glimpse of that golden hair, or ears or tail. Even just a scream would help, but it's wasn't a preference. Worry is something the three really didn't need at that moment. Ashtver was a dead weight enough for the others, they didn't need to worry about anything else. It would just mean returning to the Cathedral for the three of them... and death for Aria. Ashtver's head just sent pain down his spine as he thought this. Closer and closer they got to where Ashtver had dropped the Fox Tail off. He had memorized the tree as one with low hanging branches, low enough for Aria to climb, with a small split in the front. However, the silver shine of a dagger could be glimpsed in the same tree, lodged there purposely. Ashtver dropped himself from his allies' arms, and clumsily bolted to the dagger, the telltale rust still there. He took a look at the blade and the handle, analyzing the damage. Being a Blacksmith, he had worked with metal many a time before, and could recently tell how much damage a weapon had dealt to another. There were a multitude of chips in the rusted steel, evidence that Aria defended herself, meaning she had been attacked, suggestively by the remaining Assassin. Multiple slash marks on the tree showed she was also backed up at one point. Ashtver noticed a fallen branch nearby, showing that one of the two had tried to make a barrier. But what really caught Ashtver's eye, was the red blood flowing from under the branch. He crawled over, shaking like all hell, and reluctantly raised the branch to find... a severed hand, hardy and well built, evidently that of a man's, holding a Starter Kunai. My little sis is learning quick. But we can't stop. That guy must have taken her somewhere. He checked for more clues, noticing that there was no blood on the dagger. Aria had used the Assassin's own main-hand weapon to sever his hand. Ashtver's guess: She attempted to throw it. He was beginning to think that Aria was in fact the attacker in her situation. The last thing he noticed was the small pools of blood trailing further into the forest. Gesturing for the other two to help him stand, he prepared to see his little sister kicking some Assassin ass.The pattering of small, lightweight feet was heard barely feet behind the Assassin. He swore to himself, "Shit! She's fast! Little girls can get scary!" he bolted as fast as he could, holding his stump of a left hand to his tunic, blood dropping in pools to the grass behind him. The young Fox Tail girl had thrown her Dagger right at him, causing him to panic and drop his Hatchet, and she picked it up, skillfully dispatching his left hand, along with his Kunai. He stumbled time and time again, not-so-gracefully trying to escape from the incoming danger. He had to make it to the town before he was killed... but that was never going to happen. He heard a small voice, filled with anger, yell from his side. He glanced to his right, and noticed the Fox Tail girl leap onto the side of a tree, and flip off of it, where she spun through the air, whipping the Hatchet around her body, and slashed straight through the Assassin's body, almost perfectly replicating Deadly Dance, with a touch of extra skill. He felt his body slide in half as the girl landed to his left, crouched, and flung the blood off of the head. Well shit, bad idea to piss of Landers, especially young ones, he told himself, as he felt his body evaporate into Anima. Aria turned around to marvel at the Anima dissolving into the very air, and noticed beyond the beautiful substance, not only her Big Brother, but also Miss Pen and the Druid that she and Big Brother had seen earlier, gazing at her in awe. The state of her Brother, though, wasn't something to be happy about. She quickly dropped her murder weapon, and sprinted towards the trio, aiming for he Brother.

Guardian - Bodyguard - Artisan ____________________________________________________
The three adventurers ventured forth, the guardian Pen and Zyrune the druid and the hoisted swashbuckler, Ashtver. As they moved through the forest they came across the area Ashtver said he left Aria. The scene before them was one straight out of a mystery book. Discarded weapons, blood splatter, a missing girl and who could forget the severed hand. Ashtver jerked himself from Pen and Zyrune’s grip and fell to the grassing earth. He crawled to the dagger and inspected it. Pen decided to look at the rest of the scene, though she wasn’t a very scientific person, though she did take notice of the slash marks in the tree. They were a bit shallow for a man the size of the assassin. The guardian turned her eyes to the severed hand; rough looking palms and thick fingers. Unless Aria had gone through extensive hormone treatment in the past half hour and been fighting a lot, this belonged to the assassin.
Pen whistled, “That’s right impressive.” She said with the corner of her mouth upturned in a grin. She opened her mouth to make a joke but stopped as she heard the sound of footsteps. Reactively she spun on the balls of her feet, positioning her shield up in front of her and stepping between whatever was running and Ashtver. Only when her eyes landed on the small Fox tail did her stance slacken and her muscles relax. Aria stood with an ax in her tiny hands, which much like her clothes, was covered in a dark red ichor. Pen felt her mouth open but nothing came out. She stood in awe of the tiny lander as she dropped the ax and bolted for the grounded Ashtver.
“Seven hells, kid.” Pen breathed in astonishment. “Hell, I don’t think she really needed my protection at all.” She laughed dryly as she rubbed the back of her neck. “Whoa whoa whoa...” She said quickly as she intercepted the young girl. “It’s alright. Ash is fine. He’s just a bit tired is all.” She stepped away from Aria but left her hand on her tiny shoulder. “Be gentle. He might cry.” She winked playfully and lifted her hand from the fox girl’s shoulder. “You okay, Aria? You weren’t hurt were you?”

Lets Play Elder Tales. Hp: 100 Mp:100 ▼ | It was awkward at first, not to mention extremely tiring for the half-alv as the group slowly made their way towards the spot where the swashbuckler seemed to have hidden the girl away. It was odd how she had remained silent this whole time and it didn't sit well with the druid and formed a knot in the pit his stomach. The druid's face frowned as he trudged onward lending his support to the swashbuckler and the guardian. It was clear that the swashbuckler was exhausted, he couldn't seem to keep his eyes open for much, occasionally his head dropped from exhaustion only to shoot back up with worry for the young young.
However what surprised the half-alv more than anything was the guardian's will to live and her will to keep moving, to keep going despite everything that had happened to them, she had never once complained, taking each hit as a mark of honor, fighting with every ounce that her body allowed her to. It was remarkably inspiring to watch, what was even more remarkable was that Zyrune hadn't healed the woman very much at all, in fact he had used pretty much the majority of them on the swashbuckler and yet as they moved, the woman's face showed great determination and will and not once did she complain or ask for a rest stop. That only seemed to make Zyrune want to step up his game, he wanted to be like her, he needed to be if he was going to make it in the world of Elder Tales.
That became more clear as they made their way towards what seemed to be a horror scene. The druid was instantly filled with dread and he could feel his stomach turn and knot and his heart fall away leaving it open to be filled with dread and uncertainty. The swashbuckler most have experienced something similar as he pushed himself out of their grip, seemingly wished to inspect the scene for himself. It was rather gruesome, the tree had been badly damaged and that showed clear signs that there had been an attack, he didn't know nor did he dare ask which side had caused them, but somehow he seemed unsure if the young girl could handle an adventurer, especially one hell bent on either killing her or capturing her.
The druid almost hurled when he noticed the served hand, bringing his arm to his mouth, he tried his best to remain composed and yet as he took in the gruesome scene around him with much dread and horror, he couldn't help but notice that the guardian seemed very composed, looking over the sight with a calm expression, she seemed to understand the attacks in the tree as if formulating a scene in her head as to how the attack went and what may have happened and what may not have happened.
“Wha…” He began, but his voice fell. He wasn’t sure what to ask, he wasn’t even sure what to think. Pen just seemed to whistle out, the druid's heart jumped in shook. If there were any more player killers around, they certainly knew where they stood now. His eyes flickered to the guardian as he couldn't help but wonder her plan.
His eyes widened as a small female foxtail seemed to emerge before them, it was rather the scene, the young girl frantically running forward, swinging her arms around the swashbuckler in relief, however as if knowing what to do, Pen intercepted the young girl, it was clear that he still needed to rest. He couldn't help but smile somewhat, still struggling to ignore the hand that lay served right next to them.
Zyrune stood somewhat uneasy throughout the entire interaction. He didn't know if he should stay, if he should speak or say something, so instead he remained quiet and just kept an eye on the surrounding area. His ears did perk up at the question of the young girls health, his spells had more than an adequate amount of time to cool down, so if needed he could cast a healing spell on her, but he didn't think she would need it as he noticed the severed hand once more. Perhaps her attacker needed the healing more than she did.

Aria stopped suddenly, and her face drooped as Pen stepped in her way, stopping her from reaching Ashtver. Her voice became slightly growly, fitting of a Fox Tail, " Miss Pen? Why are you stopping me from getting to Brother?". Pen explained that Ashtver needed rest, and her face drooped slightly more, but her voice lightened up, "Oh. Okay. I... I guess I can let him rest. How did kicking those meanies' butts go?" she asked, her ears pricking back up again. Ashtver attempted to speak, although highly broken up, "We... got them... all right... Killed three... One got away..." he gave the Fox Tail a small smirk, "And you... killed the... last one. Why... were you... so deadly... right now?" he could barely strain his voice any further, so he decided to ask the question sooner rather than later. Aria's face fell quizzical for a second, trying to think, "I don't really know... I think it was because I wanted to protect you and Pen, Brother! Oh, and don't forget this nice, pink-haired man," she gave a small curtsy to Zyrune, lifting her skirt slightly and her golden hair rippling, "Thankyou for keeping these two alive. I don't know if they could have survived without you. No offence, Brother," she finished, apologizing to the zombified Swashbuckler. None taken, little sis. I told him the exact same thing. Pen finally asked about Aria's status. She gave the Guardian a wide, shining grin, "I'm pretty good! I only got cut on here," she lifted her small shirt slightly and pointed at the green glowing slash mark across her rib. Ashtver's eyes widened to the size of frying pans, "Aria... that's poison! Zy... I need... you to cast... your spell..." he commanded, almost having a heart attack at the sight of Aria's wound. She spoke, sounding slightly drowsy, "Oh? That's why I feel weird..." she began to sway, and her eyes closed. She began to plummet to the ground. His legs screaming at him, Ashtver shot off, and slid his arms under Aria before she hit the ground. He tenderly brought his legs about and laid the Fox Tail's head on his lap.
" Hey, Aria! I'm going to go out and grab us some Boar skin so I can make us coats, all right?" Aria's brother called across the large living room in their home, "I need you to stay here for a little while. Stay safe!" the small pattering of feet could be heart from the other end of the house. A small Fox Tail girl with golden hair, golden eyes, highly pronounced ears and an equally golden tail bolted across the room towards her brother. She jumped at him, her purple dress flapping through the air. She latched her arms around his neck and pulled herself tightly to him in a hug. "Come back safe, okay?" she asked, knowing the answer already. Her brother was a skilled Swashbuckler, wielding a Spear in one hand and a Pistol in the other. She had yet to know how to pick a class. Her brother's voice could be heard, muffled by her thick hair, "Of course I will, Aria. You know that. Don't ask such silly questions," he scolded playfully. He stood up, releasing Aria, and strolled over to the door, where his Spear and Pistol lay side by side. He took up arms, and pulled his dark cloth cloak over his Platemail, and opened the door. He took one last look back at Aria before leaping straight up, closing the door with his foot on the way.
The Fox Tail girl's eyes flicked open suddenly. Only one question was on her mind as she awoke, Ashtver's face hovering above hers, "Brother? How do I select my class?" The Swashbuckler just turned his head and stared at Pen.
