The smell of new house filled Lavinia's lungs as she stood in the doorway of her potion room. A room designed by her for potion making, so it had everything she'd need and then some for whatever potion she would need to make. It had a sorts of fancy new equipment as well that's never been used, she couldn't wait to get to work. "Alright, let's get to work..." Lavinia's first goal was to create Miasma Perfume, an item that when used made the user seem more evil and made monsters more aggressive towards the user. It's an item invented by the Heretics to help intimidate people even more, a useful trick. The recipe requires two solvents and a mana fragment, simple enough for materials. Walking to the wall covered in drawers Lavinia takes out three bottles of dark blue colored liquid, this solvent will dissolve the mana fragment so that the resulting mixture can be amplified. Taking the bottles over to another drawer, Lavinia takes another three bottles from a different drawer, these bottles are filled with a thick dark green liquid that doesn't look very pleasant at all. Taking all six bottles over to her sparkling white work bench and sets them on it. Next three mana fragments, walking over to the wall of drawers Lavinia looks at various labels on them. Mana fragment large, medium, small, extra small and so forth, reaching for the medium size drawer Lavinia takes out three and returns to the work bench.
With all the materials gathered Lavinia was finally ready to craft. Taking a glass beaker from a shelf of many Lavinia fills it with the first solvent, the dark blue one that sparkles as she pours it into the beaker. Taking the mana fragment Lavinia plops it into the dark blue liquid and slides the beaker down to a plate like device on the workbench. Remember how much Lavinia loves to mix things? This device fixes that. Placing the beaker on the plate, Lavinia picks up a flat metal disc and drops it into the liquid. Now this is the best part, holding her finger to a small button the device drains a bit of her mana and in turn the disc inside spins very quickly mixing the liquid. After a moment of spinning the mana fragment dissolved and things were ready for the next step. Without removing the little plate Lavinia takes the beaker and pours the thick foul smelling liquid into the solvent fragment mix. Putting the beaker back onto the mixer Lavinia pushes the button and watches it spin mixing everything perfectly, awesome.

LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: ... Next one, taking the same beaker as earlier Lavinia pours the sparkling dark blue liquid into the beaker. This liquid was odd, it didn't have a smell or at least one that Lavinia could notice, so why was it apart of a recipe for perfume? Either way this was something to figure out later, as long as it got the job done what's it matter. Taking another fragment Lavinia plops it into the dark blue liquid and places the little metal plate in as well using the tweezers. Taking the mixture Lavinia sets it on the mixing device and hits the button, reviling in the awesomeness that is she no longer has to stir things by hand. After a moment the fragment is dissolved and Lavinia adds the foul green solvent and hits the button again. The small plate inside begins to spin causing the liquid to whirlpool, for whatever reason this whirlpool effect as always been interesting to Lavinia. Watching water drain down in the bathtub and how it supposedly rotated in the opposite direction on the lower half of the world. Anyway, once the liquids were mixed Lavinia plucked the plate with the same tweezers and set both items aside. Taking the second vial Lavinia takes a funnel and pours the contents into the vial and adds the label. The label is pretty simple in design, a purple wavy like icon that gives the impression that this item smells. Putting the perfume with the other there is just one perfume left to make.

Last one, Lavinia thought of an interesting use for this perfume, more funny than interesting but still. Fill a balloon with this perfume and throw it at someone, then watch every animal run or attack on sight, could be a funny prank. Anyway, last bottle of perfume, taking the last bottle of the dark blue liquid Lavinia pours it into the same beaker as before and follows with the mana fragment. With the addition of the plate and press of the button the mixture begins to stir and the hum of the machine fills the room. This makes Lavinia realize how quiet the house is when it's just her living here maybe a pet or a roommate was an option to fix this? Getting a pet isn't a great idea, Lavinia doesn't have time to take care of her own home. A roommate could be nice, but there is only the one bedroom. The thought of getting a significant other did cross Lavinia's mind since then sharing the bed wouldn't be a problem, but Lavinia finding someone who was interested in her in this world, ha. Once the sparkly blue liquid and the fragment are one Lavinia carefully adds the foul thick green stuff to the mix and presses the button again. Why are we even talking about Lavinia's love life in a crafting post? This kinda talk is meant for the ball thread, eh who cares. Once the mixing was done just like before Lavinia plucked the metal plate from the mixture and put it in the bowl, once she's done it'll need to be cleaned along with everything else. Taking the beaker and the funnel Lavinia carefully pours the mix into the vial and adds the smelly looking label. "Well, that was easy time to clean up." Taking everything she used over to the sink Lavinia rinses everything with hot water then sprays the insides with a disinfectant and sets them all out to air dry and that's that.

Upon a visit with the potion shopkeeper in town Lavinia had learnt of a new recipe for hair dye by the now famous pharmacist Capsule. Lavinia could also use this item to paint her hairs, which was also very cool. So let's get started, the recipe calls for a decent sized list of materials than usual three herbs and a solvent. The three herbs she needs are from the mignonette plant and needs to be crushed. Then a simple solvent to allow the pigment from the herbs to stick to whatever they're applied to, simple enough. Walking over to her wall of endless herbs Lavinia opens a drawer and takes our three teal colored leafs of the plant previously mentioned. Taking a bottle of the stuff from a box, Lavinia takes everything over to the work bench and prepares to begin. Taking three of the herbs Lavinia places them in a large metal bowl. Next she takes this round pestle looking thing, but unlike a pestle this one is meant to just crush and not turn it into a powder. Taking the pestle Lavinia begins to press the herbs, turning them into a wad of teal plant matter. Once that was through Lavinia takes a spoon and scrapes the matter from the bowl into a glass beaker for the final preparation process. Carefully pouring the solvent into the beaker, Lavinia doesn't want to spill the contents, as with any dye this stuff will stain whatever it touches. After a bit of mixing this one is complete. Taking the mixture and a funnel Lavinia pours it into a small bottle and corks the top. Now to the bathroom!

Opening her interface Lavinia places the dye in it's correct slot and watches her hair change in front of her eyes. Changing from her normal red color, to a teal color was just awesome. Lavinia then started to wonder what her friends would look like with dyed hair. Charuen would look, awesome with teal hair, with maybe a matching tutu? No that's Hirosame's area of expertise. Plus be only wears pink tutus because of his pink rangerness. He would look even better with pink hair to match his tutu don't you think? I do, but what about Midori, cute little Midori. Pink really isn't her color, the cheerful color goes against her reclusive attitude. Maybe purple? Like the miasma this wolf in adorable sheep's clothing conjures. Yes, purple would fit we nicely, maybe even a purple matching tutu as well? No not a tutu in the traditional sense, or not at all, Midori would look cute in a matching purple Kimono. Anyway...
Unequipping the hair dye, Lavinia watches as her hair turns back into its usual red color. A decent test run for her new item, maybe she'll make a bright orange dye next time. Or maybe nail polish so she matches entirely. Lets try that...
Going back to her potion room Lavinia quickly mixs up another batch of dye. Crushing the herbs, mixing in the solvent and packaging it up so its ready to be used. Taking her new teal nail polish Lavinia equips it and examines her nails. Her nails resemble something like you'd get from a beauty salon, perfectly even coating of teal colored nail polish. "Cool..." Unequiping the polish, Lavinai stores it in her inventory, maybe she could sell it or maybe even find a use for it later.
