Appearance Victoire is a rather... Bright looking woman to say the least! She has pale skin, is of average height and has a rather athletic built! Indeed, her arms are rather toned and she has the distinct curves of a runner or a dancer. Coupled with her trim chest and lithe legs, she's rather hard to not notice. Yet, the first thing most people notice of her is the short, messy ginger hair that sits atop her head, the ends of the silky strands paling into a soft yellow color the longer they run. It is never styled, indeed, maybe the lack of style is one in of it's self? Regardless! Bangs seem to constantly fall before her face and random bits stick up now and then, she refuses to do anything about them as well! And yes, as a fox tail she does posses the ears that signify her race, but for some reason or another they are almost always hidden. When they are visible, they are of course the little auburn triangles that poke up from her head with their little fluffy tufts and everything! They're positively ADORABLE! Which well, might hint as to why she so readily hides them. Her eyes are rather expressive red pools, always alight with some kind of spark and really driving home the point that Victoire loves to be anything but average. Her eyelashes and eyebrows seem to have been lavished with attention is stark contrast to her hair. Similarly, her clothing is also quite loud and is 100% on the side of form far far far beyond function. Indeed, the clothing is incredibly impractical but looks positively... Salacious possibly? It's a low cut 'dress' if it could be called such a thing, bright orange and red and yellow with a distinct fire like style. The ensemble is far too short to meet respectable standards and it's backless! Truly, she's quite brazen to go out in it! (Hah! Did you see what I did there?!) Yet, this never seems to put her down. As is clearly evident with how she holds herself, a bounce in her step and anything but self conscious. It's clear that she may well be flagrantly ignoring social conventions! Scandalous! The outfit will be rounded out by a red lace choker and armband which do much to add just that much more character. If her fox tail isn't being hidden behind her magic, it's quite commonly seen flicking and waving from beneath her skirt, which may well explain why it's so short? Or well, maybe it's a decent excuse. That's not to say it's her only outfit! But it's the one she's most commonly in. Other clothes tend to follow a similar style, airy and flamboyant and sticking to very warm colors. She also seems to have a thing for lace. She will never admit it ever ever ever. Image reference In real life? Well, she is not a fire haired fox tailed woman. Indeed, she's a rather average woman! Quite thin and most certainly on the short side, she has olive skin and black hair which almost always seems to be done up into a bun or pony tail. She usually doesn't have the opportunity to wear as long as she would like sadly! And really, she would never be caught dead wearing what her character does! She's a normal person after all! She just uh... plays a little looser in Elder Tale is all. | Personality In a word, confident. Victoire is a rather smooth individual, prone to bursts of excitement and joy yet still seemingly possessing that cool air calm and quiet confidence that tend to put most at ease. Yet, even with that attractive air, she tends to get caught up in other things are withdraw from people. When not 'locked on' as it were, she quite often busies herself with scanning the horizon or daydreaming instead of keeping up with her comrades, her attention wavers quickly and she is quite often 'crippled' by bouts of boredom that lead to her getting into some kind of trouble. She is also quite cheerful, always ready to give a quit smile or a helping hand and even an airy laugh, though she tends to act a little rougher with those she likes, but then, that's an aberration that may well stem from some fear of commitment or attempting to look 'too cool' to try to snag the attention of the person she wants it from. She is quite clearly and extrovert, the idea of solo play is painful to her! Though, that doesn't stop her from playing group play in the style of a solo player, meaning that she tries to do every job herself if only because she worries that someone else won't be able to do the job they're assigned. To put it simply, she has troubles trusting people to do what they're supposed to and almost instinctively attempts to do every single job on her own because she believes that results that come from her own hands will yield bigger rewards, or at the very least, have mitigated chances of failure. Of course, this extreme worry induced multitasking usually causes more bad things to happen, be it because she is overwhelmed by all the tasks she is attempting to do or because she simply can't do those tasks well. She's rather easy to speak to, but won't go out of her way to meet new people. Yet, when it does happen she seems rather intent on building that bond of friendship as well as she can, as if she's worried that if she doesn't do enough that they'll just end up drifting away. It seems evident that she has a clear issue with her sense of self worth, though the smug grins she flashes now and then do help mitigate that feelings. She's also extravagantly flashy in public, always walking with a bounce in her step and a smile on her face and never has she used anything akin to what one would consider an inside voice. She loves to tease, but when someone turns the tables on her or even goes so far as to flirt with the poor darling, she tends to melt into a puddle of anxious awkwardness that can never quelled. It's adorable really! But, don't call her adorable, she hates being called adorable. Even with all these flitty characteristics and an airy personality, she seems to be keenly aware that the world isn't all sunshines and flowers. Indeed, Victoire has anything but a sense of youthful naivety and is always quick to offer a second opinion on something that she would see as hedging on ignorance. Yet, she often suppresses this instinct, as if she's forcing herself to be a bit lighter and a little bit happier at the expense of being smart. This leads to her being rather trustworthy and even hedging on the line of too readily accepting what the 'right' thing is in comparison to the 'smart' thing. Because really, she's stuck in a... Something.... Where being smart and alive isn't necessarily the best thing anymore. Why go through a new life bitter and afraid? She's rather afraid of being idle, and extrapolated, the fear that what she does wont have an impact on the world. Which really, has sent her on many an existential crises whenever she tries to ponder the world that she now lives in. But such a thing has to be pushed under the carpet, because she's intent to live the day for what it is and she's isn't going to let that put her down while she still has the chance to be something else. |

Biography
Catherine was born in the city of Reims, France and would spend much of her early life there. Her father was an officer in the French military and her mother a school teacher in the city, so the young Catherine very rarely wanted for much! She was a rather average student, much to her mother's chagrin, but she always put in the effort that was required of her and was quite active with her out of school activities. She was an avid horse rider and always seemed to have a taste for things a little more... Exciting than the day in and day out of school life and such! Her father always called her Ma téméraire peu sucré and could never help but laugh when his darling daughter would come home with her knees scratched up and cheeks red. And well, her mother? Less amused.
Somehow the young Catherine would find her way to the tumultuous teenage years without suffering serious injury! Which really, was a great stroke of luck from the rambunctious girl. But, her life in France would come to an end as her father would receive a new assignment as a military attache in England, and as such the family was swept up and moved to London with nary a moment to catch her bearing! Moving to England was awkward for the fifteen year old at first. She knew some English, but despised the awkward confusing language as much as a French(wo)man possibly could, which is a lot by the way. But she would soldier through, becoming somewhat more reserved due to the nature of her separation from her peers, but she would eventually build a small cadre of loyal friends as she waded her way through school.
And finally she would become a young woman at the age of eighteen, a French speaking, headstrong, British (In name alone!) Mademoiselle. She had broken a few hearts, managed to become very confused when it came to her sexual preference and yet had utterly failed to seal the deal. And on the side of academia she dreaded the idea of further college, and after much cajoling and bargaining with her parents where military service was taken off the table (Her father said he would rather die than see her serve in the RAF), she would turn her eyes to the Fire Rescue Services. And really, the job was perfect for her. She could fuel her pyromaniac tendencies (Any firefighter will tell you a good firefighter is always a pyro), hit those urges for adrenaline, do something that actually mattered and how sexy were fire fighters? She would fill the years between now and then training, treating patients and dashing into fires. She reveled in being part of a team, loved the rush she got and the warmth that filled her chest when they pulled someone out of a burning building. It was perfect! Even if she still had that niggling little want for more in the back of her head, she'd yet to find that person who actually meant the world to her, and a small fear was rising in her chest that she may never find them.
Young hearts.
It was one faithful day that one of her old school friends suggested Elder Tale, she wasn't the most avid of video gamers, and really only bought the newest title out of curiosity's sake on an impulse buy. She was really quite intent on using it as a way to get away from life for just a tiny bit, shut off her brain and just take a load off while playing a someone totally different than herself. And really, what was the worst that could happen from indulging a tiny bit of escapism?

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Summoner
Elemental Bolt: The Summoner borrows the physical properties of their follower to generate an energy bolt projectile. The projectile copies the attribute of the follower, so a bolt created from Salamander will deal fire-based damage. As this skill derives itself from the energy of the follower, it reduces the follower's damage potential by a small amount for about 10 seconds. In exchange, the bolt itself deals a respectable amount of damage for its tier. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 10 seconds.
Summon Follower: Salamander: Reptile-type Fire elemental follower. Summons forth a reptilian spirit cloaked in a burning aura. Damages targets with burning fangs, claws, and a magic fire breath attack. It requires a source of ignition to be summoned at its full power, common sources include camp/cooking fires and even torches. Otherwise, it is summoned at roughly half of its power. Salamander's personality type is Docile toward its Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon.
Summon Follower: Harpy: Bird-type Wind elemental familiar. Summons a creature that has the features of a bird and woman. She attacks targets with cutting blast of wind and sharp talons. She can also stun enemies by emitting an ear splitting shriek. This stun lasts for 3 seconds. Harpy’s personality is Friendly toward its Summoner and Predatory toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon.
Roleplay Class: Courtesan
Allure: A toggle skill that can be used anytime in a conversation with People of the Land. It allows the Courtesan to smooth over any mistakes and retain the target's attention. Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels.
Crafting Class: Tailor
Needle Work: Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly.
