Having crafted two sets of small wheels Bailin rummaged around the piles of junk in his garage.[break][break]  Oddy had been busy with making a load of parts for both himself and Bailin. Today Bailin was dead set on finishing the last known recipe for mechanics, which was to say… the last one that was currently known to them, the recipe was on how to make rollerblades, something that appeared to be rather simple, however, it did make use of two pairs of small wheels, which was another recipe on its own. So, being lazy as he was, he crafted those through the menu. It would mean they would be of rather… common build, being neither terrible nor good, but they would serve their purpose and save him a boat load of time. Next up he gathered two u-shaped metal bars, as well as some screws and two metal plates. The metal plates would serve as the platform on which one could put his or her shoes or boots. Upon the other side of the metal plates would be the bars, each with four wheels and one of those for each foot. The bars would be fastened with screw upon the plates. Pondering about the mechanism Balin figured there would be need of a way to keep the shoes more or less in place. After some more searching and looting of the stockpiles he found some pieces of coil, which he could use to make six arches, three for each foot, which would keep the foot safely tightened upon the plates. Now that all the parts were gathered and placed upon his workbench, it was time to put them to use. [break][break]

Having gathered all the parts, the ones he initially intended to use and the parts he figured he could use on the go and having all of them in front of him, Bailin took out his trusty screwdriver, given to him by Oddy. [break][break] Taking the screwdriver and sticking out the tip of his tongue he proceeded to take on of the plates and a screw, placing the screw through one of the holes of the plate. Next up he took one of the u-shaped bars and placed one of the holes on the screw. Placing the screwdriver on the head of the screw Bailin started turning the screw round and round until all three parts were tightly connected with each other. Taking the next screw he connected the part on the other end of the plate, wiggling the bar a bit in all general directions to make sure it didn’t move, and if it did he took his trusty screwdriver and fastened the loose screw a bit more until he was satisfied. Next up were the wheels, which were actually pretty easy to do; place a wheel in the open end of the u-bar, take a screw, place said screw through the hole in the bar and making sure it couldn’t move too much but still being able to turn. When he was satisfied with the result of the first wheel he continued and repeated the process with the other three wheels. When he was finished and satisfied with the wheels he continued to place the three metal arches on the places, making sure he could move the arcs on and off his boot. When he was satisfied with that he repeated the entire process with the other parts, creating a second plate on wheels, creating a pair of improvised rollerblades. [break][break]
