Appearance A solid fella, topping off at six feet and an inch, Daniel boasts a rather stoic build. A herculean chest and shoulder set, thick arms and a core to match. His right arm; wrist to pectoral, is covered by a tribal Celtic runes and designs black-ink tattoo; a sign of pride in his heritage. His eyes, a cloudy bluish-grey, are set in an intense sort of way, fixed with a piercing, focused stare. His face is rugged and handsome; a strong, square-set jaw and a strong chin. Reddish-brown stubble covers his jaw and chin lines. A thick, curly mane of matching color sits atop his head, usually pulled loosely back into a ponytail. When he speaks, his voice is gravelly, but uncharacteristically smooth, and adorned with a strong Scottish accent. His accent is often mistaken for hostility or anger. | Personality The type of person who goes by the "I'm a friend if you're a friend" mindset. He won't shy away from conversation, and he doesn't get nervous meeting new people, but there are times were Daniel appreciates time to himself. "Gathering thoughts and schemin' things" as he calls it. He's an 'on the fly' kind of guy. While he will agree that, in some occasions, having a plan of action is the best decision to make, he's a strong believer in adapting to the present. "Patterns have a way of goffin' themselves," he says. Daniel isn't afraid of making a judgement call based on rationalized thought. He doesn't let his emotions of personal feelings get the better of him, as he's seen the consequences of this in other people. He likes to say the he "Learns from your mistakes," meaning if he sees you screw up, he's going to remember every little step you made, and he's going to make strives NOT to repeat them. This is one of the reasons he doesn't like the feeling of being controlled or ordered around. He doesn't like the risk second-hand consequences. -In real life, Daniel plays as a Prop on an Triple A Rugby team, based out of London, and attributes his Physical Fitness to this alone, as he is very lazy when he's off the field.
-Daniel moved from Kingussie, Scotland to London when he was 14 because, unbeknownst to him, his father was wanted for murdering a man who had molested Daniel's kid sister Gerty.
-In his 10th Grade, Daniel was raped by a female classmate(Yes, people. Rape does happen to guys) named Sarah, and unknowingly fathered a daughter from the encounter at 15. To this day, he does not know about his daughter.
-Daniel's IGN 'Thinker' is taken from a family quote he lives by. "Thoughts are Thinkers!"
Biography
Daniel Thought. When he was younger, he loved his name. His mother had told him that it meant he would be very smart throughout his life. "Thoughts are thinkers!" she loved to chime. It'd bring a smile to his and Gerty's every time she said it. When he started school, he worked extra hard to get good marks, just to make his mom proud, and to live up to those words. And he did.
His marks, throughout the whole of his school career, never dropped below A's. In his 6th year, his parents rewarded his efforts by paying for him to play Rugby, and it quickly grew into a passions. Up until he moved from Kingussie, he had been captain of his local school's Rugby team. In London, it didn't take long for him to regain that title at his new school.
The move shook him from reality. He loved living in Kingussie. He had friends there, a girlfriend. And then one night, his father came home, woke them all up, packed their things, and they were out the door, on their way to London. He cried for a few days, but he came to love the big city. The school he went to was much larger. He made friends quickly, and joined the Rugby team on only his second day of attendance. And then he met Sarah.
She was a very pretty girl, and she seemed to like Daniel a lot, but after a few months of dating, things were getting weird with her. She wanted him to do things with her, things he knew he wasn't supposed to do until he was at least 18. She would get mad when he refused, and stick her hands down his pants, and put his hands on her breasts, saying that if he pulled away or tried to stop her, she would scream rape.
And then, after a game on a Friday night, he was staying at a friends house for a party with Sarah. The friend, a teammate of Daniel's named Rupert, had planned on partaking in some rather illegal activities.. Rupert and his girlfriend, followed by a few other people first participated, and then the last person to join in on the shenanigans was Sarah. She turned it on Daniel. His refusal was broken down by peer pressure until finally he submitted.
The next day, he could only remember a few things, but he did know that Sarah had taken advantage of him. Angrily, he broke up with her the following Monday, and her family moved away not long after. But life continued as normal. Eventually, Daniel graduated, and was picked up by a Triple A Rugby team. The pay got him an apartment, and fed his other passion. Video Games.
He got into a few; mainly ESO and SWTOR, but with the announcement Log Horizon coming to Europe with it's expansion "The Novasphere Pioneers", he decided to shell out for the game on release date. After the long and tedious modeling of his avatar after his own IRL likeness, he finally logged in. But with the blink of an eye, he found he was no longer looking at a screen. He was looking at the world of Log Horizon..

Party members within the fortification receive the entrenchment effect. Entrenchment increases the health and mp recovery of party members when resting and their defense in the event of combat.

Roleplay Class: Pathfinder
Battle Perception: Toggle skill. Battle perception allows the Pathfinder to notice nearby monsters more easily by displaying their names and levels above their heads. It allows the Pathfinder to detect monsters about 3 meters further than a normal character, and is most useful for preventing ambushes.
Crafting Class: Blacksmith
Heatsink: Blacksmiths are able to wear chain armor without penalties if they are normally unable to wear chain armor. They are able to wear plate armor without penalties if they are normally able to wear chain armor but not plate armor. Also a toggle skill. Through their skills at working around a forge, blacksmiths have developed a slight tolerance toward heat. They take reduced damage of 10% from fire-based attacks.
