“Druid, this world is not like reality.”
Zyrune looked up at the man with watery eyes. All the pain and the frustration and constant pressure the druid had felt had just come pouring right out of him and right in from a complete stranger, a strange who he wanted to impress no less. The druid could feel his sobbing subside as he listened to every word the elf assassin spoke as if it were some kind of eye awakening experience. Despite what he had previously assumed, the man did understand somewhat of what things were like and instead of choosing to be a victim by those circumstances, he had chosen to become a rock in the stream, a change in the wind, he had chosen to stand up, take responsibility for his situation even though it was not his fault nor did anyone ask him to do so.
Instead of waiting for change to happen, it seemed that Saber wanted to start the change for himself and anyone that would follow suit. He understood all too well about how meals and basic living within the city of Londinium under the protection of the Royal Guard was all too easy and so tempting to everyone, in fact the druid could already name a significant portion of people already doing so. There was no challenge in that, it was boring and dull and why anyone would be content with that he did not understand. AS the assassin held out the bright red apple towards the druid, he couldn't help but focus on it rather than Saber as the man talked about his travels, about both the danger that lay just outside the city of Londinium and beyond, apparently the man had traveled far and he had done so to not only face dangers but to experience what this world had to offer rather than simply what was out there that might lead back home.
Something struck the druid, Saber openly admitted to not having many friends that meant at least the support wasn't alone in that, however he guessed Saber might not realize it as much as he did though due to the fact that Saber's class was pretty self sufficient whereas Zyrune's class was designed for team play, but there was no way Zyrune was required to play it as such even though he really enjoyed it when in teams as a support when games like this were still games. His train of thought was broken by Saber's hand resting on his shoulder. Taking a breath, he gazed into his strong eyes and knew he was telling the truth. Slowly he nodded knowing what he needed to do but not before watching the man as he walked away. One day they would look at each other and Saber would be proud to see him.
Just as the candy floss haired druid was about to turn back towards town, the assassin paused for a moment in an instant the druid saw a bag of coins thrown his way that he struggled but managed to catch. “Return to London, Druid. Take that money and go to a nice place to eat. Stay in a more expensive room than you normally would. Show yourself what it feels like to truly live in this world and in the morning… Make your decision. Will you simply live here…? Go one day at a time and let the world burden you? Will you complain about being alone and let the sadness hurt you? Or will you survive? You’ve already started by reaching level five. That has shown me that you already have a taste of it, the taste of being alive.” Once again he turned form him again and continued walking, the druid looked at the bag as if in disbelief that it had even happened.
“In three days’ time, go to the Parliament Building. Seek out the House of Crowns. I have a feeling you might like it there. Take care of yourself, Druid, and watch out for Player Killers.” Saber raised his right hand and waved it a few times into the air as if knowing that Zyrune was grinning. Not only had he enough money to secure a place for himself but he now had an often to join a guild, a GUILD! Inwardly fist pumping, the druid nodded towards the assassin once more, he wasn't going to let this chance go to waste. However he wouldn't waste the money either, he knew what he had to do and he wasn't going to waste that money on some kind of luxury night alone, no he was going to buy some subclass change scrolls and start on his path. With a deep breath and a final glance towards the assassin who had put some distance between them already, the pink haired druid finally turned from the man and started on his way towards the gates to Londinium, the man's advice first in his mind. In three days time he would be a member of House Of Crowns and he needed to be ready for what that mean. "Thank you Saber, you may not want it but you've earn it."
