Appearance Jordan never considered himself to have a particularly noteworthy appearance, so he designed Tranquillus to imitate his ideal self-image. He did not dislike his appearance, but in the game he wanted the appearance of a hero. So, while Jordan was average in height and a bit pudgy, Tranquillus stands more than six feet and has a large, muscular frame. Tranquillus has a lightly tanned skin tone of an individual who spends much of his time outdoors, typically training or working as a guard. His face has strong features with high cheek bones, a small nose, thin lips, and his eyes are a very dark brown color. Jordan's hair was light brown and very curly, but Tranquillus' dark brown hair has a gentle wave and reaches just above his shoulders. He lets his hair down while in combat, but usually has it up in a pony-tail during his day-to-day activities. Tranquillus is a cleric who prefers to wear heavy plate-mail armor, preferring the role of a support tank, so in most situations he will wear his heavy armor. During his typical daily activities Tranquillus likes to wear simple (and cheap) clothing, since he'd rather spend his time and money elsewhere. So, around town he can usually be seen wearing basic, starter, clothing in shades of brown and black. However, regardless of the situation, Tranquillus always carries his staff in case of emergencies. | Personality Tranquillus likes people and works best when he is surrounded by like-minded individuals, in fact, he typically has difficulty concentrating when he is alone. Casual conversation is necessary while he works, whether as a guard or scribe, and he is very talented at small talk. Since he works so well with people, he needs to be part of a group to function properly and will be pretty useless solo. Though he began working with PUGs, he wishes to join a guild as soon as possible in order to have a stable group of friends and companions. He avoids PvP as much as possible, despising the concept of fighting other adventurers unless it is absolutely necessary. Tranquillus wants to believe that all the adventurers are in this together, so he assumes the good in people until proven otherwise. He had a difficult time dealing with People of the Land at first, beyond seeing them as NPCs, but this has changed over time and he now tries his best to respect them. He treats most people kindly and does not have much of a temper. He actively avoids being angry, thinking that it will drive people away even if it was deserved. In combat, Tranquillus prefers to put himself on the front line. He uses the strong defensive capabilities of the Cleric class and the Bodyguard subclass to act as a support tank, a role which allows him to switch between the tank and healer roles, as necessary, in order to act as support for the primary tanks and healers. He tends to be self-sacrificing to a fault, putting himself on the front lines even when it is not strategically necessary so he has a tendency to end up at the Cathedral. At least his heart is in the right place. He is not particularly competitive, preferring to protect others rather than reaching the heights of his own abilities. He trains and does quests in order to increase his strength, not for his own sake but for others. |

Biography
Jordan's early life was rather uneventful, he was born in London to an American family since his father, Samuel Cass, was employed as a professor of mathematics at the University of London while his mother, Eleanor Cass, worked in the University administration offices. He had a pretty typical childhood with many friends from school and with the children of other university professors. He was constantly in an environment that heavily emphasized education, and Jordan was pretty smart but by no means a genius of any kind. From an early age he gravitated away from the mathematics and scientific subjects and towards language and literature. His favorite past times were reading and going to the cinema, typically with a large group of friends. He was never athletic, but he was very sociable and he made friends quickly. He said and did things that others wanted, trying his best to avoid being disliked or losing the friends he already made. Of course, he could get not along with everyone but he rarely got into trouble since he was generally confident when around others, and he always surrounded himself with friends.
High school life was not much different than his childhood. He was the guy in the school who knew everyone but was not part of an individual clique, getting along with most people. He had a few really close friends, but most of those were children of university professors rather than from school. Many of his friends were interested in academia, and Jordan developed an interest in Roman history and literature. He played the occasional video game, mostly single player RPGs, throughout high school but he never considered himself a gamer and he had little interest in MMOs. He preferred interactions with the people around him rather than through a game, so he spent more time with others whether it was studying together, going to the cinema, or just hanging out. He graduated high school within the top 20 of his class, and went on to study Latin at the University of London.
Sadly, at the university Jordan lost contact with most of his friends from high school who had spread out to other universities and while he did make friends at the university, they were never as close as the ones he made before. Since he was not interacting with people as much as he wanted face to face, he turned to the internet and specifically began to play MMOs which he was previously not very interested in playing. He bounced around from game to game until he started playing Elder Tale, choosing to make a magical support tank character, similar to what he would typically play in the single player RPGs. By the announcement for the next expansion, Renaissance in the Unfounded Kingdom, Jordan was entering graduate school to continue working on a degree in Classics. Once the expansion was out he loaded up the game and recreated his character, Tranquillus.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Cleric
Holy Rampage: By charging their body with holy energy, the cleric violently releases a wave of mana. This creates a split-second barrier that pushes away all enemies and physical projectiles within three meters. In return, the cleric's mana is pushed into imbalance and requires a moment to recover; as a result, they cannot cast a healing spell for the next 10 seconds. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown time of 10 seconds.
Reactive Heal: The Cleric's starting restorative skill and regarded as the Cleric's signature skill. Unlike Heal that immediately restores hit points at once, Reactive Heal requires the target to receive damage to trigger this skill's effect. Reactive Heal's effectiveness in combat relies on the caster's level and the level of the skill itself, but it does not require the Cleric to focus on a single ally like in Heal, allowing the "Heal Walk" tactic to be employed. When activated, the ally becomes wrapped with a warm orange light as a visual effect. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 15 seconds.
Cure: A basic cure magic that removes negative status effects from a single ally. It consumes little MP and has the ability to remove negative status effects regardless of type, but higher skill ranks allow shorter casting times for this skill. Its effect is a pale blue light similar to that of Heal. The effectiveness of its cure effect may vary based on the level of the skill and the gap between the level of the user and the level of the monster which gave the status effect. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 10 seconds.
Level 4 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 4.
Level 7 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 7.
Level 10 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 10.
Level 13 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 13.
Level 16 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 16.
Level 19 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 19.
Level 22 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 22.
Level 25 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 25.
Level 28 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 28.
Level 31 Tier II Skill: A skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. The skill may be either a Tier I or II skill. Unlocked at Level 31.
Roleplay Class: Bodyguard
Valor Guard: Passive. The Bodyguard prides themselves on being able to take a blow for their comrade. When the user takes the hit for an attack that originally targeted another character, increase the user's defense by 25% for the duration of that attack.
Crafting Class: Scribe
Transcription: Scribes are known for their ability to copy and examine documents carefully. This allows them to obtain the Adventurer skill [Mythic Script] as a Beginner-level skill without it taking up a skill slot. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. If the character can already use grimoires through racial or class bonuses, grimoire damage increases by 10%.
