Jay opens his eyes, staring at the bright blue skies, watching the clouds slowly drift through the blue. Jay turns his head to the right and sees a building taking over his sight. The Parliament building?, Jay thought to himself as he recognized the building from the leaked screenshots he saw online. Odd, I don't recall the game having a camera angle like this before... He sits up, still staring at awe at the plant covered building, studying it closer. It's much more detailed than it should be...there's no pixelated blur. Jay gets up onto his feet and walks closer to the Old Parliament Building, suddenly a text box appeared from the corner of the eye throwing information about the structure. Jay is taken aback, then he noticed around his field of view, there was the in-game interface.
Shaken up by the new discovery, Jay cautiously looks around and saw that the UI stayed in his vision. He walked to the nearest, deserted alcove and tries to hide himself from view. His second discovery is that he noticed he is in his Scharden Freuden avatar's body. With his gloved hands, he felt the mask that covered his face; giving it a few inquisitive taps and found out it was made from a rather thick material, possibly ceramic maybe metal. Jay looks down at his new body and saw the crimson and black suit he picked out for his character, letting out a hushed chuckle. Not bad. Though, I could without the tight pants. He thinks to himself as he tugs at the tight fitting dress pants. Then he looks at the rapier strapped to a belt and a grimoire attached to the same belt by a magical chain. Shard's permanent smile matched Jay's as he realizes that he's not completely defenseless. Bringing up the UI, he scrolls through the skill menus. Shard stares at his UI, engrossed by the new information, time flying by as he does so. His left hand absently resting on the hilt of the rapier, his right hand quickly moving in front of him.
~~~~~~~
Hours passed. The blue sky turns orange as the sun begins to set. Shard lets his right hand relax, dropping limply to his side. He cracks his neck trying to relax the cramped muscles. Once he finishes up, he works on his back stretches. After a few grunts and popping noises, he moves out of his cozy alcove and heads out of Londinium heading towards the Thames Marshlands. His hands held behind his back, as he walks in a leisurely pace, his coattails fluttering behind him.
