bittersweet. The sorcerer seemed to be quite antisocial from the sound of it and she made a mental note to bother asking him to party up if that was the case. At the very least she figured that her friends list would increase by two this day unless he decided to change his tune. Lu couldn't imagine going it alone in this world considering there was no telling how long they were going to be a part of it all. It could be months or it could be years until they found a way out of here. To be honest she was afraid to even know how or why they were here considering the fact that they could all simply not be alive anymore.
"I promise you it is worth it to consider finding a trust worthy group of friends." she said with a laugh. Honestly though she couldn't help people in this world who didn't want it and so she backed off the topic for now. It seemed that they were both intrigued by the other comment however. Somehow they had both missed out on this wonderous place. Now was the perfect time to go honestly since the fairy gates were working for an undisclosed amount of time.
Beaming she nodded her head at the two of them slowly. "Now is the perfect time to visit during the lunar festival. The fairy gates seem to be functioning once again but who knows how long that could last." she said with a serious tone of voice. Honestly she wondered if their kind would ever figure out how to repair a lot of the things that were broken or missing from this world. The landers were limited and so they could not rely on their aide to restore this world to it's former self.
"I can understand that. When I came to this world I couldn't even fathom the idea of having fun. Now all I do is try to make a game out of everything to keep myself going. In this world very few things seem to have a lasting consequence and so every moment can be spent however I please." she said with a grin. What was not to love about that? There was no stress to do or be someone you weren't and so you could enjoy whatever life you made for yourself here in Elder Tale.
"Besides, if you're ever bored seek me out. I know plenty of ways to have a good time." she said with a giggle. |

Darko pondered on the suggestion of the samurai. Sure, there might be someone who would meet his standards, but in this state of mind of adventurers, there would be a narrow list made more narrow by Darko's high expectations. All of the adventurers, with a single exception or two, were wondering why Darko was stark serious about everything he did, since they thought that it was just a game to them. But for Darko, as long as they were trapped in this world, it would never be a game for him. He did not know why most of the adventurers refuse to understand that their idiocy would lead to the landers saying that they were the root cause of everything that happened to them. There had to be a way for them to realize that this is not a game as it currently stands. But it would not be so unless their idiocy is removed from their system.
He was intrigued on why did the samurai seek to gain his trust, suggesting that he should find a trustworthy group of friends. If he would count the adventurers in this world who were really trustworthy in his eyes, a single hand might suffice. but he wondered about this person in front of him. Would this person count as one of those people that he could manage with? He didn't know, but he wanted to try. Maybe it would work out perfectly for them, like the guardian he had met before, or that one other sorcerer that he somewhat disliked to be with, but ending up spending a lot of his time with. He then said, "Well, you might be right in that I must gain for myself some trustworthy friends to start over with. But if there would be someone trustworthy enough for me in this world, I do not know. A lot of adventurers here are idiots anyway." That reflected his sentiment in his meeting up with a lot of adventurers.
When he was asked to attend the lunar festival, he just said, "I don't know if you would agree, but if I would attend, maybe someone would accompany me there. I would never know if I could resist that one hell of a sorcerer to accompany him in the Stratford lunar festival, I somewhat disliked his mannerisms, but something kept me attached to him no matter how I try to break away. Well, if we go to Stratford right now, it seemed that he would also accompany us. I don't know what to do with him, so maybe I'll have to ask you to accompany me." He really disliked going out with a lot of people, but it seemed that he would have no escape. At least he would mostly be spared from that sorcerer since his attention should be divided between the three of them. Well, he hoped.

Lestivel sat for a time while the others spoke their peace. The night was in full effect by now, and the air had been fully chilled. The cold failed to bother Lestivel as he was used to functioning during the night. " I can understand that. When I came to this world I couldn't even fathom the idea of having fun. Now all I do is try to make a game out of everything to keep myself going. In this world very few things seem to have a lasting consequence and so every moment can be spent however I please." Lu said with a grin. Little to no consequences? now that was an interesting. "Besides, if you're ever bored seek me out. I know plenty of ways to have a good time."
"Perhaps I shall take you up on that offer some time. It would be nice to simply have some fun for once." Lestivel grew a small smile on his face. Yes it would be nice, and the more people he knew the better things would turn out, as it always is. "I do wonder though, as to what untold mysteries this world now holds for us. There have been many changes. Elder Tale is much more like a real world now rather than that of a game. Have you noticed how the people of the land have changed? I've watched them and they do not react as they once did. They seem more... alive." This was something he had hoped all adventurers had noticed, but most likely had failed to do. words: 262 tags: Luiniel Darko LipowitzLestivel speech color: #42e202 (Sorry for the late post.
