Lestivel sat on a rock next to a rather tall building. It was probably some sort of office building back in the real world. Thoughts ran through his head at incredible speed. Is this really so bad? I mean here no one really expect's anything of me. I can lounge around then do things when I feel like it. But I can't escape the feeling that there is something i should be doing. Lestivel shook his head and dropped of the rock to the ground. His hat fell off his head and onto the dirt. "Really hat? can you just stay on my head? you have no problems when I'm fighting," Lestivel spoke to the inanimate object as he picked it up and placed it on his head. Placing one foot in front of the other he began to meander through the streets. It was beginning to cool down for the evening and the sun was setting. Most people had packed up for the day, but this was Lestivel's favorite time to be out. It was quiet there were hardly any people. And most of all it was dark.
His katana, mounted upside down on his back, moved slightly back and forth as he walked. A smile began to form on his face, bright and inviting. Who knows maybe I'll run into someone to have a chat with. Maybe someone cute. That'd be nice. Lestivel thought continuing on his slow walk. He did not walk like the average person he had a saunter to his stride that suggested a freeness in his attitude. This freeness was what made him so agreeable ninety percent of the time. A breeze began to roll in from the south. The cool air ran through Lestivel's green hair. Responding to the breeze he removed his hat, and looked up to the darkening sky. "I don't know why I'm here, but Fates, thank you."

bittersweet. Guild activity had gone rather dark as of late and she was left to wander on her own. It was a rather boring thing to be doing compared to her mission against the heretics. After that night she had vowed to become stronger and she was making good on that promise so far. Already she had gone up seventeen levels since she joined the guild with more on the way she imagined. There was no way she could stop now, not now that her main goal was to catch up in power to their guild mistress.
So deep in her thoughts was she that she almost didn't notice that there was a man sitting on a rock in her path who then got up and started a slow walk. Normally she was the only one who went down this way so she was quite surprised to see someone else. Her brow raised slowly as she decided she was going to approach him and inquire as to why he was sitting alone near an alley. Were there homeless landers in the city just like in the real world?
Wandering over she put on her best grin before she gathered her wits about her to have a conversation. "Excuse me. Are you in need of some assistance?" she asked tilting her head to the side. Lu took a moment to absorb the mans appearance which was not odd in the slightest due to his class. The man wore a rather fancy set of clothes in her opinion. Compared to her he seemed over dressed for this lovely alleyway; all she wore was samurai armor over the typically styled clothing and a large coat over that.
His half lidded eyes made her wonder if perhaps he had been sleeping here or he was drunk. Lu had no real experience dealing with drunk people but she figured it couldn't be so bad. Or perhaps she was wrong on all accounts and this man was merely avoiding the festivities like she was. "Sorry if I come across as rude questioning you like this. You just seemed.. bored? Alone I guess." she said with a smile. |

Hawk was walking alone, these were some of the few moments where nothing was happening. Hawk sullied these moments of nothing to do, no one to talk to. Just him and his thoughts as he walked on the road. A breeze came up from behind him blowing his hair in his face he stopped and paused and looked at the sky it began to darken slowly. Hawk thought in the short time he has been here he has met so many other people some disliked him, some he was friends with. He even had fought a small band of bandits, gone on quest for ingredients and gone to a festival. He could do what ever he wanted here in this new world, maybe he would join a guild soon who knows. He thoughts began to dwell on his past and not the pleasant thoughts. He remembered how his father recited him for the family business, trying to craft him into a man like him by making him start a underground business in his school. Of course he did it well and was very succesful getting his fathers product into the school and collecting the debts that people owe. Hawk always tried do the best he could even if it was not morally right. Hawk shook his head he needed to find something to do or someone to talk to. He was a new man he was free from his father even though he left a great impression on him he would one day get over it. He went to his crutch his saki and drink-ed a little before continuing on.
Hawk began to walk again and started to come up on two figures one sitting in-front of a tall building the other standing in front of the other. As he got closer the figure kept looking familiar, he was fool if he could not recognize the man before him. Him and his hat it was the swashbuckler that helped him fight off the bandits the other was a samurai he never seen before. A small grin came across Hawks face as he walked towards. "May i join?" Hawk brushed some hair from his face pulled out his gourd that had some saki left inside" I brought something to drink".

Lestivel's prayer was answered as he was looking to the sky. A Female Fox Tail adventurer had found her way to him. Fortune favors me this day. Lestivel thought as he turned to face the girl. " Excuse me. Are you in need of some assistance?" She began as she tilted her head seeming to take in his appearance, " Sorry if I come across as rude questioning you like this. You just seemed.. bored? Alone I guess." She is even cute. This is quite auspicious. She was not much shorter than he was. Her level though was seventeen above his own. though he doubted that meant much for a simple conversation. It did, however remind him of his low status in levels. He often forgot about such things. "I am not in need of assistance, and your questioning is quite alright. I am, in fact, looking for a conversation should you be up to it." Lestivel began in his most eloquent tone. Throwing in a bit of rural charm to keep things friendly, and a dash of shopkeeper for trust. "My name his Lestivel Trinyer," He began with a bow and flourish of his hat, "And if I may be so bold as to inquire your name?" Lestivel put out his had as to greet her in the lordly fashion. An inviting smile across his face. How this night may favor me.
At that a familiar figure walked up. A samurai. The one Lestivel had given aid to earlier. " May i join?" He began, " I brought something to drink." "Greetings Hawk. It is a pleasure to have your company again. You may stay if it is of the favor of the lady." Tags: Luiniel Hawk(Made this thread private for now. I would like to keep it small.)

bittersweet. For one who dressed so strangely she should not have been surprised by his manner of speech. Yet the moment he started speakinig she blinked her eyes and her head remained tilted in his direction. The fancy hat really was an indication that someone was truly a "gentleman" like she was told by her english friends. She just sort of wrote it off as one of those jokes you saw in a meme. Gathering her wits about her she shook her head and let out a soft chuckle in reply.
"I guess it's an act of divine intervention then if you're looking for a conversation. The Elder Tale gods saw fit to send you the one person who can't seem to shut up." she said with a goofy grin. The girl could talk for hours and about nothing. At one point she was sure that her family was considering buying her a muzzle just to make it stop. Hence why she decided to stick to herself more often than not, she found it was easy for her to get on someones nerves with her excessive talking.
Returning the bow as was her custom, she pointed to herself with her thumb. "Luiniel. But eventually every just calls me Lu or Lulu. So if you would like you may cut through the formalities and do the same." she replied without missing a beat. Now that she was trapped here in this world as a fox tail she regretted picking an elven name for her samurai. Still she liked the way it sounded, it was definitely easier to say for most than her real name.
As she was about to ask another question someone else showed up; another guy she did not seem to recognize. He was a samurai like she was which was something she smirked about. The class didn't seem to be as common as Assassin or Swashbuckler due to the need to preplan all of your combo attacks together. Turning to take in the appearance of the new guy fully, she nodded in reply to Lestival as she had no objections.
"The more the merrier, I guess. If it is what you wish then who am I to object?" she asked. Besides they were in a town so she did not feel threatened by much of anything here. "So your plan was to just walk around in this secluded spot and hope for someone to stumble across you while a festival was going on?" she asked. His plan seemed like an odd one until she stopped to realize something.
"Well I guess it was a good one.. I'm here.." she thought aloud. |

Hawk got big smile on his face as took a seat in the grass and peeled some of his armor revealing his black traveling kimono and set his sword against the rock. With the weight relieved he stretched a little hearing his muscles popping, and let out satisfied sigh, he then took another drink from his saki gourd. Hawk had obviously walked in on this man trying to swoon this fox tail.He looked her over she was kind of like him minus the ears and tail and the height difference and the gender, he chuckled a little thinking how dumb he sounded in his head. This was not the first animal/ human Hawk had seen. It was refreshing almost to be in small group like this. "Well fate seem to brought us together in this random area...." Hawk takes a drink from his saki gourd again. " ....Ah so what brings a fellow samurai and well dressed gentle men out these parts". "Sorry let me call you by your names... been drinking a little much... What brings you Lu, and you Lestival to these parts enjoying the rare stillness in the air maybe? Oh and you can call me Hawk by the way, I have no fancy nick name or need of one ha." He smiled as some color came to his cheeks from drinking the saki giving him a little buzz. There was another small breeze which felt refreshing as well, and brought some fresh air to the area. He held out his Saki gourd offering it to either of them, if they did not want any that was fine with him, meant more for himself.

Lestivel now had a couple of people to talk to and a nice quiet area to do it. The first Samurai, Luiniel or Lu, seemed like exactly what Lestivel had been hoping for. She was polite enough, a little curious it appeared, and she was not one of little words. All this, not to even mention the fact that she was cute. The second Samurai, Hawk, had perhaps interrupted his plans, but such was the ways of the Fates. Lestivel took it in stride, as he did all interruptions in his plans. Hawk asked him as to the reason of his being here, then offered some of what Lestivel assumed to be Saki or some kind of alcohol. "I was merely out for a stride. Festivals are often lively and such, but I prefer the more subdued parts of town. As for the drink I am afraid I am going to have to decline." Lestivel did not care for alcohol or the effects it gave. Specifically the headache it gave him, or the wonderfully bad heartburn. Perhaps though his body would react differently here. After all it was a different world. Lestivel gestured for Lu to take a seat. "If it would be to your liking, I do believe that joining the drinking samurai would be appropriate." With that he offered to help the lady to a seat on the grass. tags: Hawk Luinielwords: 231

bittersweet. Lu didn't have to ask what was in the gourd after observing the mans mannerisms. She understood what someone looked like when drunk probably better than most people. Shaking her head, the foxtail also turned the man down on his offer of alcohol as she found the idea of it repulsive. A true warrior did not poison their body with such things; it dulled the mind and slowed your reflexes. Then again it was a festival so perhaps she was being too harsh even if she was only thinking all of this in her head.
Scratching her cheek for a moment she considered how to answer the mans question. "I was actually heading towards the flower grove again. I forgot that I was going to get something for a friend." she said with a thoughtful expression. On top of that she was going to wander further out in search of something more worthy of her time in combat wise. Lately all she had managed to fight were things lower level than herself ever since the night she managed to snag all these levels. One to seventeen in a single night was her current record that she hoped to shatter.
"Honestly though? I was trying to avoid the festivities going on back in the city. I am not fond of such holidays as this one." she said laughing nervously. Hopefully they didn't mistake that for what it wasn't, a plea for someone to try and take her to the festival. It would take a massive amount of convincing for someone to manage to drag her back to one of those places. "So many people mindlessly trying to find an easy way to get each other to spill their personal feelings." she said with a scoff.
Taking a seat on the grass with the rest of them, Lu paused for a moment as if she was wondering what to say next. Neither of them truly offered much for her to talk about just now but she was never out of things to say that was for sure! "So I see you're both newish to the game. Are either of you in a guild currently?" she asked wondering how they were coping with the situation as a whole. If she hadn't joined a much larger support group for it she would have been freaking out right about now.

Hawk was slightly disappointed at the fact none wanted to take a relaxing drink with, but oh wells like he thought more for him he took another drink from his saki gourd before plugging and lied in the grass enjoying the cool breeze. He had already enjoyed the festival events in Stratford and that was night he could not forgot (minus the parts that were a blur) he met so many people and made some friends and even won some prizes it was truly a great night. Daydreaming a little he forgot about Lulu's question he thought second about Lulu's question. The thought of guild did please him but he was not willing to rush into one. This new world was not confusing to him. It was surprisingly simple actually in his mind, fighting monsters or people, eating delicious foods, drinking great booze, heck even meeting people who might become his best friend. This was all exciting and fun for Hawk, but when it came to guilds, he had no interest at the moment. " Nah guilds hold no importance for me at the moment, plus i am not strong enough to join a combat guild at the moment." Hawk smiled for sec enjoying the conversation " How about you are you in a guild, do you have any tips for lower level new players like us"? Word Count 225 lestivel Luiniel

Lestivel took a seat after Lu making a form of triangle with each person being a point. He took his katana off his back and placed it down next to him. A slight overtone of merriment drifted over from the festivities. Lu asked the two men " So I see you're both newish to the game. Are either of you in a guild currently?" Lestivel pondered this for a moment. The truth was that he had yet to consider joining one. "A guild?" Lestivel thought aloud, "I had yet to ponder such dealings. Perhaps I was entranced by the sheer beauty of this world. The splendor of such an opportunity. The wonderful world of Elder Tales." The truth was hiding in Lestivel's words. He truly had not considered a guild, but not for any of the stated reasons. The truth was hidden much deeper. It was a fear he failed to even recognize anymore. He hated being in groups for long periods of time. He feared growing attached to the people. He feared losing them, like he had lost all his friends in the past. Lestivel did not show this on his face or in his actions. Instead he hid behind a mask of friendly smiles and a lively personality. "I may be open to joining one, once I get by bearings proper in this world. But I would have to consider all equally." Lies. Tags Hawk LuinielWords: 234

bittersweet. Lu had to stop to ponder her comment for a moment because even she wasn't sure if it was the correct assessement. Technically weren't they all new to this game considering the rules had changed on them when they got sucked in? Never for a moment had she stopped to consider that all of the higher level players had started the way they all were now. Perhaps she would have to track one down and ask them how the did it. This thought, however, could wait for later as she had present company to entertain.
Hawk's words made much sense to her as she came back from her little inner discovery. For most people they saw no benefit in joining a guild right away as they felt they didn't have much to offer. Truth be told she only joined because there was strength hunting in groups and bonuses to the games systems. Was that a good reason for remaining though? She couldn't really be sure but as long as it made her stronger she couldn't exactly say no.
"I guess I can see your point. I honestly only joined a group of players for the bonuses and experience it offered me." she admitted. There was no truly noble or honorable cause for her joining but the reason she stayed was because they were so noble. Rescuing landers from the crazed adventurers who could not handle the Heretic class was no easy feat.
"Hai. I am in uh, Vylbrand Academy. So far it is still organizing it's self but it's focus is on giivng low level players direction and purpose." she said with a smirk. Honestly she was not entirely sure she believed that either just yet but she knew she liked some of the people so far. As far as tips went for fellow low level players, she had almost none to give. "I am the worst person to ask for tips. While I understand how the combat system works in this world now I am not veteran. I'm still working it out as I go." she admitted with a laugh.
The only reason she was even level seveteen was because she had help from Saskia and Pen. The two of them had tanked the mobs while she simply helped burn them down in any way she could. Six mobs that all out leveled her by at least five levels; the experience was raining like the blood of their foes that day.
"The world is a beautiful place though, you're right. I've not been beyond the outskirts of Londinium but so far I am impressed. This game was highly immersive before but now that we're here I couldn't have even fathomed it would be this real." she said with a grin. The details of this world were so breath taking that she had a hard time remembering that this was reality now; not the world that they all left behind.
That was when she decided that one day she would take them on an adventure if they permitted. In the old world she was bad at making friends but here they all had something in common. By the end of this she hoped to add two new people to the friends list that seemed to still function even now. "Perhaps some time in the near future we can go exploring. I hear there is great treasure to be had doing so!" she exclaimed. |

Hawk got a grin on his face listening to Lulu made him think about the guilds more maybe in the future he would join one the benefits were great for low levels like him. Joining a guild just to reap benefits made the game seem less fun for him, if he wanted to join a guild it would be either be his own that he created or that of one that a friend has made. Heroism was not his strong suit either sadly, combat always drives him wild and the fact that he does not take pity on the defeated made him occasionally the villian in moral standerds atleast. He knows that Lestivel has seen this side of him.
He did not dwell long on that thought though, the past is the past. Lulu then mentioned something about adventuring together. Hawk loved this idea, adventuring was one main things that entertained him in this new world. The next thing that came to mind that he enjoyed was someday building a boat and sailing the sea, but that was another tale for another time.
Hawk was satisfied with the conversation he had with these people. He was happy to see a familiar face and meet a new one. He began to gather his armor and his sword putting all of his equipment back on. "This world is truly beautiful and its rewards are even greater." Hawk got a grin on his face as he thought about the treasure and special item drops and specail raid awards. He started to walk towards the road and turned back to his new friends "I will be glad to adventure anytime with you Lulu" Hawk began to add Lulu as a friend "Also I hope to see you again Lestivel do not be afraid to shoot me a call either of you". Hawk adds Lestivel to his friends list " I hope to see the both of you rather sooner than later it is time for me to get going and i need to find a way to gain some exp tomorrow Haha." Hawk gets a smile before waving at his hopefully new friends, and begins on his way to an inn for the night.

Darko just stared at his companions as he took a sip of hot moccaccino, in a cafe in Londinium. As he watched them, he sincerely wondered how he managed to stay in this table for a long time. These two werecats were getting on his nerves. They seemed to be affected by the spirit of the lunar festival. Or the spirit of the full moon. Or the lunacy associated with the full moon. Or all of the three. They were flirting each other so much that their table was jerking, and Darko needed to take his tall glass and saucer off the table for them not to fall down the table. And one time, they were lying at their seats clawing at each other, and Darko was irritated at their outrageous and scandalous display of affection. Hell, the other customers of the cafe started to watch their table, and Darko didn't like it. He didn't like being watched, what's more he didn't like to be viewed as "enjoying the show, since obviously Darko didn't enjoy it. When they were finished with their orgy, they invited each other to go for it again, which made Darko very furious. He stood up, moved to the counter, and paid his coffee with a tip. He then ordered another tall glass of moccaccino, which he then poured into his canteen, and then walked out of the cafe, desirous not to see those rowdy werecats again.
As he walked down the streets of Londinium he saw a large amount of people pass by him. He then looked back to see what direction they were going, he saw that they were going to the lunar festival. As he saw that, Darko just shook his head. A trail of thoughts confounded him. "Why do humans have to go to a celebration of love to find their true love. Not only they were nonsensical, but it opens them to the world where false erotic love, with all their misconceptions and orgies, come to life and haunt them until the end of their lives. This is such a vanity, and also a lot of nonsense and evil." He then continued to walk on the streets until he had come to a place where the sounds of the lunar festival didn't reach him. That was a relief as he thought, since he would not be able to think of those things ever again. His mind, rather tired due to what happened at the cafe and the train of thoughts that once streamed in his head, decided to sit on a rock near an abandoned building. He then opened his canteen, took a sip of the moccaccino still hot from the cafe, and sighed, somewhat recovering from the fatigue on his mind. It was when he had time to think again, that he saw three persons sitting just near him. Two of the persons he had already met back when they beat up some bandits, and the other, a woman, he didn't know. He then stood up, and said towards the three, "Pardon me please, I was tired from a lot that happened, and I think I have intruded you while you were on a chat with each other when I sat down near you. If you want to, I'll leave."

Lestivel sat on the grass an inviting smile on his face. It was good to be back to normal. Just as a chameleon felt safest when it had become the color of its surroundings. Lu began to ramble on. Though most would call it annoying, but Lestivel thought it cute. As she continued on in her monologue Lestivel began to relax. The night was just beginning to take full effect the sun had finished its walk through the sky, and the stars and moon now competed for the domain above. Hawk gathered his gear and added Lestivel to is friends list. A kindness he returned. He gave a leaving farewell and a laugh to which Lestivel replied, "And a good eve to you friend." With that Hawk was off, but as he was a newcomer had arrived. Another from his previous fight with the bandits. The Sorcerer. He approached and sat near them seemingly unnoticing for a spell. Until he finally spoke, "Pardon me please, I was tired from a lot that happened, and I think I have intruded you while you were on a chat with each other when I sat down near you. If you want to, I'll leave." Lestivel had found this one strange earlier. Not participating save to send the Shaman back from her flee. The Fates seem incessant in their deterring me from courting this delightful fox tail. But then I must be equally as tenacious in my pursuit. Lestivel decided. "I have no objections. Seeing as one of our companions is now leaving for the night." Lestivel began keeping his same tone as before, "And of course if the lady has no objections."

bittersweet. It seemed that the sake was hitting the man hard, that or he simply had somewhere more important to be. Either way Hawk was out of here rather quick which made her wonder if perhaps during her rambling she said something that upset him. Taking a moment to reconsider what she was talking to them about she couldn't figure it out if she had said anything offensive. Nodding at Hawk she watched him swipe open the UI and bring up the friends list.
Before he left she returned the favor before swapping her attention back to Lestivel. It seemed there was only two now which meant that she didn't have to try as hard to be so inclusive to her rambling. The samurai was just about to continue when she noticed yet another person had found their way over to them. It seemed that their little resting spot was a magnet for those who were weary of all the activity around town.
Waving to the sorcerer as he walked over she put on her usual wicked grin. It seemed that no matter what he did Lestivel would find his little chat interupted. Not that she minded at all, the more people she had to talk to the better. "I have no objections. In this world you are only as strong as the company you keep." she said with a laugh. A solo player could only do so much so she aimed to continue to grow her friends list so that she could call on them for help down the road.
"So I heard there was a new city discovered a bit ago. A town where people are really into theatre, have either of you been?" she asked tilting her head. She imagined that she might find all manner of interesting landers to speak to there and perhaps some odd but fun requests to fill. Lately she had become obsessed with finding some sort of quest to do as the game was not that much fun without them sometimes. She felt restless and aimless which for her was not a good sign at all.

When Darko asked if he could stay, he sometimes expected a no, especially on this particular occasion when a man and a woman were alone, and had not much of a conversation lately. But fortunately for him, the swashbuckler male and the samurai female both agreed, and so he sat down, and then after another sip of the still-hot moccaccino from his canteen, he pondered about the words of the samurai. Of course a company of good friends could topple down an enemy with a power greater than each of them singly, but he felt that was not enough. Over-relying on others for help or protection would make one weaker than normal. There are some times when he had to face a bunch of enemies by himself to protect other people. He then said, "Of course three sticks taken singly would break faster than these sticks bundled together, but it is definitely not a case with people. There are some instances when others could not help me even when I call for them, and so I have to be stronger by myself. In that way I could better protect the people I need to protect." Darko was shocked when these words casually went out of his mouth. He must be very tired or something. Taking another sip off his canteen, he then said towards the samurai, back in his tone that was devoid of emotion, "And why should I bother with having someone who can assist me? In my books everyone who tried to help me all end up being a burden in my quests. Would you mind if I specify the names of the screwballs I'm with this past hundred days?"
Back to his regular mood, he then listened as the samurai talked about the newly-discovered city, one that a lot of adventurers and landers frequent to watch some plays. Maybe with the opening of the new city there would be more clues about how would they get out of this game. Maybe he should start with searching for a library there and find something that should be of note. Or just watch every single play that were put out by the landers. There were many things that he could do there, and although he knew what to watch for, he didn't know where to start. He then said, "Yes, I have heard about that city, that city was called Stratford upon Avon, right? I would go there tomorrow to research about where should be our next destination."

"why should I bother with having someone who can assist me?" Lestivel mused the question aloud losing some of his fancy tone as he began, "Perhaps the answer is in the question itself. The definition of assistance is to help a person or group with a cause. You said that those who have tried to hep you in the past have only hindered your goals. I have found that groups are like the inner workings of a clock. Each piece does its part to further the common goal of the collective. Should one component attempt to do only what it wishes to do without regard for the common int rest then the clock will surely fail. Now there are times when a group is formed for the goal of one man. Perhaps - we shall say- to build a house. Now the man who wishes to build this house asks for assistance from others. Now he no doubt has a specific vision in mind for said house, ans should likewise share this vision with those who will be helping him build the house. Now should one of the helpers deviate from the vision, or not grasp a proper way to help then the man should help this one understand how he can help. Now the house is done, and the man who's house it is agrees to - in return - help the others with their tasks and goals. Such is the basic nature of communism. As a wise man once said 'The mark of a great man is one who knows when to set aside the important things in order to accomplish the vital ones'" Lestivel finished his long winded argument. Oh my it would seem I have begun ranting. Unfortunate. Lestivel thought as Lu asked about a new town that had popped up. One that had emphasis on theater. Good, a new topic to speak on. Lestivel turned his face down in embarrassment at his ranting as Darko mentioned the name. "I am afraid i ave heard nothing of this town. I keep little acquaintance with recent matters of this world," Lestivel haply switcher topics returning to his elegant tone. Adding a slight hint of a workman this time, to project experience. tags: Luiniel Darko Lipowitzwords: 374

bittersweet. It seemed that she had gone and done it once again. Whatever she had said started Lestivel on some sort of rambling that she grew confused about halfway through. Lu started him and blinked her eyes several times as she tried to figure out how to respond to such a monologue. Maybe there was no correct way to respond to it which then left her speechless; something that rarely happened and she hated. "Uh.. yeah! Something like that.." she said with a nervous laugh as she scratched the back of her head.
Her four tails flailed up and down anxiously as she watched the subject go from communism to the threatre city. At least someone had heard of it so her attempt at small talk wasn't a complete miss. 'Yeesh, these guys might be a little too serious.' she thought as she sighed inwardly.
"EH?! You've never heard of it?! It's such a wonderful place where landers perform on stage almost everyday. It definitely helps break up the monotony visiting Stratford." she said with a bright grin. She would purchase a personal house there if it didn't cost her all of the gold she had managed to save up in this world. It was sort of rough living out of an Inn but you had to do what you had to do.
"What do you do for fun then around here?" she asked seeming baffled. He didn't explore, watch plays and he was still level one. Was he one of the adventurers who chose not to leave the city and remain where it was safe? |

Darko was slightly irked when the green-haired swashbuckler started his rambling, but nevertheless he listened on every word he said. He agreed when he said that groups were like the inner windings of a clock, in that when one of its members refused to work for the continuity of the clock, the whole mechanism would fail. For Darko, everything that failed him were caused by only one thing: pride which is simply out-of-place. Although he himself kept a lot of pride in everything that he was doing, it is a different question whenever he is on the battlefield. In everything that he had played since he took up MMO gaming, he knew where excess pride would take him: to the last save point. And so he was very calculative when it came to field or boss battles. But, in every party that he was in in the last hundred days, there always seemed to be that one rotten apple in the crate who was very prideful that s/he didn't listen to everything that they said. And in that situation there was only one result: the party getting wiped out and Darko barely managing to escape by the skin of his teeth. This reinforced his thinking that there would be nothing coming out from parties. He then said. "I quite agree with the clock analogy you have said. And that's the reason why I currently hate being in a party in general."
As the samurai said to the swashbuckler about the numerous performances put out by landers in Stratford, Darko became more interested. What type of performances were played by the landers in the theater? It must be something related to the culture, way of life, and history of the landers in the area, and Darko wanted to know all about those. There must be something there related as to why the adventurers are transported to this place. Ultimately, there should also be clues as to where was the person responsible for all this, and when they had found him, it would be possible to return to their own homes. Well, if the person would be willing to do that without a fight, and Darko would not flinch from a good fight to return to his own world. He then said towards the two, "Yeah, that would be interesting. This should be the first time we see the landers do large-scale stage performances, and it should be something not ought to be missed. Looks like I'll need to see it for myself, and probably, watch every play they put out. It might be our only source of entertainment while we were engrossed in film or television back in our world." Definitely, there should be nothing missed in this world, for they have lived here for a long time, and they must have something for them to relay towards others in what kind of experiences they felt.
It seemed that the fox-tail samurai wanted to know more about the swashbuckler, and so he did not disturb them. He took a drink off his canteen, and then waited patiently. They seem to get along well, as he thought. [/quote]

Lestivel sighed quietly in relief that the old topic was behind them now. You need to be careful about that. Remember what happened last time? Yeah let's not repeat that. He thought to himself. Luckily for him it seemed he was not the only one who wanted to change the subject. " EH?! You've never heard of it?! It's such a wonderful place where landers perform on stage almost everyday. It definitely helps break up the monotony visiting Stratford." Lu said brightly. Interesting. I might have to check this place out. Lestivel was not the biggest fan of the performing arts, but he could understand people's fascination with them. He was then asked a question. "What do you do for fun then around here?" This made him pause for a minute. Fun? He had not thought about having fun.
"Fun... Haven't really thought about having fun. I have had... other things on my mind recently. Though now that I do dwell on it for a time I think it might be good to relax and have some fun for once." Lestivel did in fact have other motives. Though he had yet to fully understand them. It was true that most of his actions were guided by gut feelings and whatever seemed to be right for the moment. Ye had yet to have true fun yet.
