Polack || time to go hunting~ || Polack figured, that it perhaps would be good to dedicate a few days in order to hunt. He figured, that maybe he could earn some money with it if he improved his skills, gaining experience wiht it wouldn't be bad in any way anyway. As for now he didn't do anything yet to hone his skills, maybe it was finally time for this. That is why Polack left to look for a safe place to go hunting. He went to a part of the Windsor Greatwood that didn't appear to be containing opponents that would be in any way more bothersome than a natural hunt. "So... where do I start?" Polack mumbled in polish and held his bow. He has picked a place that was rather silent and the amount of monsters in general was very slight. He decided to make his way through the woods first. The forest was actually quite pleasant, Polack had to admit that. Quite often Polack was fascinated of the beauty that Elder Tale was revieling, especially since Polack was stuck in this game and could see it with his own eyes, if you could say that that way. Suddenly Polack stopped. Was it just his imagination, or was something from far away moving? Silently, he sneaked from tree to tree to come closer and eventually catch a sight at what has been moving there. After a few moments he was finally close enough to see the figure clear enough. It was a Frenmic Rabbit, Polack didn't bother to check it's level, since, if he remembered right, those rabbits couldn't have a higher level than five. Spanning his bow, Polack concentrated on his prey. He didn't move for an inch, leaning from behind the tree he hoped, that the prey wouldn't notice him. Polack didn't want to use the aiming aid, since it was only distracting him, all he could rely on were his very skills. He inhaled, felt his heartbeat stronger than before, for a split second everything seemed to move slower as he sighed out and let the arrow fly. The rabbit turned around in the very moment the arrow hit it's head. The difference in level and the bonus he became from his hunter subclass doomed the little rabbit to be the victim of a one shot, one kill situation. Polack watched the little creature disappear and he smirked. He had to admit, that hunting was way more pleasant in Elder Tale, since it didn't feel like harming a creature at all. With a smirk he looked at what he was skillful enough to do. It wasn't anything hard for Polack, considering that he had a lot of skills with the bow outside of the game, but it has taken him some time to adjust his skills towards the world in Elder Tale. The body felt in a way different and it was harder to make the eye comprehend things the way it was supposed to be, so it took him a lot of time and training to even remotely bring back what he was capable of doing. Making a step towards where the rabbit was, he suddenly noticed something from the corner of his eye. What he didn't notice was a Garden Snake, Polack soon saw, that it was level nine, but he didn't have much time for any planning or something like that. He got hit, the damage wasn't much, considering the level difference, but it made him step a few steps back. Immediately he used Magnum Shot that was a skill suitable for opponents that came close to the archer and with one shot, the snake was defeated. Polack still could feel his heart hitting against his chest as if it tried to escape from him. Polack certainly didn't see it coming and he was even more surprised about him being able to react that fast. Maybe that game was changing people more than he assumed? He sat down leaning against the tree, wondering how he could let the snake surprise him. It took him a few seconds to realize, that Garden Snakes had a certain ability. If he remembered right it was called Camouflage and made the snake's name and stats not visible until a certain radius. He certainly had to be more careful from now on. Polack decided to sit the damage he took out, he didn't believe that any creature would spawn in this area any time soon. He decided to relax for a little while. Word Counter: 750

Polack || another hunt, oh damn || After a while Polack decided that it was time to go on with the hunting. Standing up, he stretched his body to the extend that he could feel his spine crack in several places, he looked around for the next prey. Currently there was nothing to see, so he made his way deeper into the forest. After a few minutes and a few annoying Garden Snakes later, he found himself watching a Young Pittered Boar. With it's level five it was no challenge for him. Spanning his bow, he concentrated on the prey and shot. The arrow hit, but it wasn't a Young Pittered Boar that has taken the damage. What Polack didn't notice earlier was, that the young boar wasn't alone. A Pittered Boar took the damage to protect the young one and Polack could see the rage within the animal's eyes. After a few seconds, Polack realized, that it wasn't just one boar, but from the bushes suddenly five more of them appeared. His eyes widened as he saw them running straight towards him. With a pretty high pitched voice he took a run for it. The boars came closer and closer and Polack gave his best to run as fast as he could, meanwhile thinking about what he should do. Stopping twice to shoot quickly, he managed to knock out the boar that he has hit earlier, each arrow appeared to be capable of taking a third of it's HP. It didn't change the fact, that there were still five of them chasing him. Even though he was of a higher level, he could not possible take on five of them. A damageful attack against the butt, Polack realized that he could not shoot at them anymore and run in the same time. He had to come up with something and that quick. After a few more seconds of fearful chase, Polack stepped on a fallen stump and jumped up to catch a branch, hoping to get away from the boars that way. He took yet another attack against the butt, that made him swing on the branch and land on a higher branch where he was safe. Sure, that wasn't planned, but that little moment of luck was his salvation. Sitting on the branch, he shot down one boar, then aimed for the second one. The boars stopped chasing him and run away instead. He still managed to shoot down the second one, until the rest disappeared in the woods. Heavily breathing and shocked from what has just happened, he stared down at the ground. Polack never imagined that it would ever take so much to hunt down three boars in a game. He sat down on the branch in a way that it was more or less comfortable and decided to relax. This time he had to take a longer while to calm down from all this, he has taken more damage than earlier. It wasn't any dangerous amount, but he prefered to be sure. Word Counter: 500

Polack
|| still hunting || After the moment that he would take a short moment to relax, he soon realized that it turned into a two hour nap. It took him also a few seconds to realize what he was doing here, where he was and why. Yawning and wondering that he didn't fall down from the tree. With a careful movement he stretched his body to make his spine crack. Looking into the eyes of the snake that was dangling in front of him from a branch a bit above, he blinked a few times... and realized that he was looking into the eyes of a snake that was dangling in front of him from a branch a bit above. For the second time today he squeaked like a little girl as he fell down the branch, hit against two others and finally landed on the ground. That was nothing to enjoyable, one had to admit that. The snake didn't seem to follow him, so Polack stood up and tried to forget the pitiful moment as soon as possible. The first step to forget this was to move away from here and concentrate on hunting again. He went deeper into the woods, concentrated on the hunt as much as he could, he looked for a new prey. As expected from a spawning range of a game, Elder Tale provided Polack soon with yet another beast. Using the skill Hiding Entry, Polack came close enough to see what it was. For the first time Polack saw a Brier Weasel. It was level 15, so it seemed like a decent prey to him. As he was in a range in which he could rely on his own abilities, he activated Arrow Revolver and proceeded to hunt down the prey. With one shot, hitting the weasel, Polack's Hiding Entry was shut off, the Arrow Revolver immediately prepared another arrow to shoot, which Polack did immediately. The weasel being attack, it started to defend itself. Polack didn't expect the weasel to come so close towards him that fast. In a half distance Polack found himself whipped by a vine, which was powerful enough to be knocked off his feet. Standing up quickly, he shot the third arrow from his Arrow Revolver and then immedietaly had to evade yet another rageful whip. The animal tried to slash Polack with a few other vines, which Polack somehow managed to evade, then Polack could shoot the fourth and fifth arrow. The Brier Weasel still was furiously attacking Polack and the young male, despite evading the best way he could had to take quite some damage after all. After a while Polack realized that his tactic stopped to work, as the vines slashed away his arrows whenever Polack tried to shoot, which was bothersome, since he didn't had many opportunity to begin with. After a few other evasions and sometimes taking damage, Polack finally figured out what he could do. He activated the skill Rapid Shot, that allowed him to shoot twice as fast, which is how he could finally avoid the weasel to parry his arrows with it's vines. The weasel was almost done for, Polack could see how little HP it had, but it tried to escape now. It was fast, so if he would try to use a normal attack, it would get away, since it was hard to hit such a fast prey, he had to use something else. He decided to give it a try with a Crash Shot. Shooting slightly upward he saw the arrow flying, then splitting into a few fragments and rain down towards the animal. It was hit and defeated. Polack was out of breath from this fight, perhaps not that much physically, but more mentally. Fighting in Elder Tale was sure something to get used to, since it took quite some nerve to avoid all the damage one would usually take without hesistating, considering it was something else sitting behind the screen.Sighing in relief that this was over, he leaned against a tree and looked for another beasts, but there was nothing else around here, so it seemed, so he could take yet another moment to load himself ready to continue his hunt, the hunt of this forest's different beasts. It was starting to become really bothersome, but he didn't want to give up. If he had to spend a day or two dedicating his time to hunt, he wanted to get the best results he could get out of it.
