Hey there everyone!
Have you ever got that urge to run off and post? Have you ever had some random urge to go do something? Have you ever, ever, wanted to just scroll through the site and not be bothered?
Have you wanted to do all of that and then suddenly end up being distracted by the CBox and by the time you realize your mistake, your muse is gone and it's six hours later?
WELL HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU! If you have Google Chrome that is.
The idea popped into my mind a little earlier when I found myself wanting to make a video. I wanted to do it, but I also didn't want the CBox to show up and make people feel awkward when they saw themselves in the video (or something entirely different). As I was thinking about it, I remembered that someone else had actually found a way to make the CBox disappear while not breaking the site, so I decided to try and find it. Due to circumstances, I was unable to access the other Forum where she had posted the code so I toyed with, and broke, my Chrome six times trying to figure this stupid thing out. But I have done it, and you can do it too! It's very simple, and here are your steps.
Step 1: Download this add on; chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylebot/oiaejidbmkiecgbjeifoejpgmdaleoha
It's called the CSS Stylebot and allows you, with CSS, to edit live webpages on the internet to suit your own personal fancy.
Step 2: Access the style bot and paste the code below into the main sheet!
div.cbgrd {
display: none;
}
Step 3: Hit "Save" on the bottom and you're done! It's that easy!
Once the code is in, scroll down to where the CBox should be and try and find it! If you ever want it to come back, simply break up the word "none" or delete the entire code. I plan to use it, so I simply delete the 'e' in none, then put it back when I want the CBox to disappear.
Again, this came from someone else, I simply replicated it because I kept getting distracted~ Enjoy gaiz and gurlz.
