Not necessarily child like, but close enough that some people think she hasn't done growing; it's just the fact that she's asian in nature that's all! She's also thin, almost extremely in some cases, depending on the day. The girl is not emancipated, but some might think of it being close if they saw her stomach. Her skin is a pale colour, probably because she's so thin and often doesn't go out because of issues with her health. It's natural to think that the small girl is sick, but she intentionally made her game body that way. She makes sure that her body looks really thin, and often carries the feeling that she is so fragile. Her face is a bit sharp but still soft with youth, having a sort of foreign design to it. Her hair is a brownish red, shifting softly as she moves. The strands are soft to the touch, not quite silky, but the actual nature of the hair is thick, so if one were to try and pull out a strand, it would be quite size-able. The length is no longer then a bit past her shoulders, and seems to be straightened almost all of the time. Her eyes are almost a surprising blue, as if she intends to capture people within her gaze. She looks young of course, but there is this sort of softness to her features that are highlighted by slightly hard angles, probably inherited. In either case, it seems that she has a pretty face to go with her strange name. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Malavain is not necessarily a cruel person, but she's rather unsympathetic. Well most people think she's heartless. She likes to insult people, and kick them when they're down; along with gouging their inner wounds, and making sure they're bleeding emotions everywhere, and edging them on with negative emotions. Generally, she's the type of person that intentionally hurts people when she wants to, and any sort of kindness can be seen as a double edged blade. Laughing at the misfortune of others, and trampling on their pride or emotions is exactly what this girl likes to do. She thinks herself as superior, and often boasts of her skills and combat capabilities to others, uncaring if someone wants to call her out on them. She often retorts she doesn't need to lower herself like a charlatan to their needs of proof. However, that's not quite right; Malavain is a very caring person in her own way. She wants people to improve, and learned over her life that people always need an enemy to do so. So she decided to become the enemy of the world, to watch it progress. That means burying her kind heart under a mountain of negative and black emotions, in order to preform that role. However, she's really protective of her family from outsiders, defending them whilst insulting them at the same time. She is just the type of person that cannot straightly declare her love, and decides to bear the cross of hatred in order for the others to move on, to go forward. It doesn't matter to Malavain; she has a strong thick skin, and is stubborn to, not a fault, but a strength that she feeds from the inside. When no one is observing, she relaxes and tries to find better ways to help others, such as, in the real world, looking for a reason for why cancer existed. It doesn't matter to Malavain; she takes the credit, but none of the kindness, preferring to paint herself as something hateful in order for no one to get close to her. She does need someone close however, because she suffers through panic attacks at times, and generally doesn't show them... well she showed them to her boyfriend before the incident that separated them. She has a hard time trusting, but knows eventually she has to become stronger.. if for the sake of her family. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Kiera Vadas was born to a large family; composed of the Head, and his five children, she was the first child of the middle child. She was younger then some of her cousins, so she grew up within the family as a babied child in some cases. She was a bright one, always listening to how her cousins talked, and learning many things; the family was close and often had meetings and what not, due to living relatively all on the same estate. Kiera was a cute child, she would often run over to one of her cousin's house to play. Of course, she felt relatively happy with her life, finding school easy as her cousins seemed to like showing her things early. So she began to do good in school since she started. When she hit six years, her little sister, Gwen, was born. Kiera was a really happy child, and loved helping out taking care of her sister. She was perhaps the best big sister one could ask for. She was studious, and quickly found herself skipping a few grades, going into higher classes earlier. By the time she was twelve, the age she was supposed to start High school, she was about four grades ahead; so she was nearly done even. It was surprising, how fast the girl was moving through the school system. It seemed she had a natural aptitude to the sciences and mathematics, easily putting in compound equations with ease. Her cousins were proud of her, and her less able sister admired her. To Kiera, that was good enough, despite all of the bullying the older kids were doing to her. She didn't really care, as her sister was diagnosed with medical difficulty after difficulty; it was sort of costly on a level, but Kiera was trying to fast pace through school to get one of those scientist jobs, that did bring in a lot of money. She wanted to look into her sister's condition, and find out what was wrong; so she angled herself for the medical field. At such a young age, she had already decided her life. She took as many studies as she could, and graduated High school very early. The hardest part? Finding a college that would accept her; and of course, none would until she turned sixteen. So she just spent more time taking classes at the High school, building up her credits largely. With such a good track record.. no college would reject her right? The girl managed to get into a medical college, and then kept going; her sister was still in and out of the hospital often, and Kiera didn't have any real life friends except her cousins and her sister. She developed a harsh personality because of this, often pushing away people; however, a boy that was slightly older then her, admired her, and asked her out. Touched, she agreed; and within that year, they become really, really close. Kiera thought she would marry the male; as he came back from his exchange trip to Japan of all places, he said he saw an MMO there that he wanted to play with her. It was her gift, and to boot, her parents had given him money to buy a copy for her sister Gwen, and the cousins had given him money to get them a copy too. So a lot of the family would play together, right after they would get their new server! However, before that happened, he got into a car accident, and passed away. Keira was in the car at the same time, and made it out with only a concussion, her boyfriend having taken off his seat belt, and thrown himself in front of her when the accident was unavoidable. The near genius girl shut her heart in then, only responding to her family, as strangers were pushed out of her life. Remembering the promise she made with her family, and the memory of her boyfriend, she booted up Elder Tale on that day.. and then it happened. Everything.. was no longer a game, and became life. So now, instead of being bed-ridden at home, she was walking, moving. Her sister was healthy, and her cousins were around too. She could be happy. The only thing she missed.. was her boyfriend. He wasn't with them.. but that was fine. This was a new world, and she would not let strangers taint her heart once more. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]Malavain means ''Death Arcane''. Because Kiera had not gotten over the fact that her boyfriend died saving her. What said boyfriend didn't tell her is that he had won a contest in japan, so some of the options of the game were customized to him. So there's someone that picked the right settings, and looks like him in this world. Also, she has quite an extensive family, and a lot of it is in the game. She tries to avoid some of them, but generally stays close just in case. She has a fear of fire, which is why she will get fire spells; to get over that fear, because of the accident. |
