Character Info
REAL NAME: Aiden Cross
REAL GENDER: Male
GAME GENDER: Male
AGE: 23
SEXUALITY: Unsure
FACE-CLAIM: Original
PLAYED BY: Cymakara
RACE: Human
FACTION: Adventurer
Appearance Bastion's appearance is rather tame, even for this world. A tall, lithe, black haired man with rather kept facial features. His entire appearance soft and easily approachable, sporting a cosmetic Kimono in place of any form of armor, as well as longer black hair that he kept groomed, and a trimmed down chinstrap of facial hair. Muscles and manliness were void on this being, as it appears he kept true to his physical appearance in the real world. No over-exaggerating one bit. His Kimono sporting floral design along one side, the rest bare and purple. Wrists with a couple bands, with his sword normally and visibly sheathed by his hip. | Personality A very easily approachable person, Bastion. Socially outgoing to a fault as he'll happily enter someone else's conversation if he feels like it is worth the risk. Preferring to stay true to himself, and his values over anything, even when his persona in the game is lacking on the stats and equipment that would have improved his survivability. Always aiding others with information, and trying to guide others still learning on the right way. Not even afraid to lend people his hard earned goods when he has no use for them, or tell them of a rarity's location. That said, he hides a darker side. He loves two things, Secrets and lies. He covets many full truths to himself, and often tells people just enough to get them travelling in the wrong direction. Sure, he'll tell someone a legendary drop is in a location, then forget to mention the area's really strong enemies and bosses. Who would suspect him, afterall? He is nothing more than a kind, sweet, and helpful person. Less that, he is a person that sees the game inside of the real game, the game of manipulation, of being an information hoarder, and watching others fail for their stupidity. |

Biography
Before he fell into the game, Aiden was in school to become a High School teacher. His study of choice was World History, with a particular and poetic love of Mythology too. He was studious, and always on time. The truth was he always had a major envy of everyone else, for while he was true to his classes others seemed to always match his work and effort despite being far less attentive. They could go and screw around, and come back with the same marks as he was making. It was enough to make him question the value of hard work.
It made him a rather bitter person, and is why he turned to the game. It was a way to get out his loathing personality safely, as lying through a computer screen to make the world's real idiots suffer was so simple. A gift he would soon keep in the world itself. Before the final days in the real world, he had started socializing more, mostly to prove to himself it was a fluke that they could compete with his intellect. He went from being the campus hermit to being a part of smaller groups of intelligent and fun loving people.

Elemental Bolt: Tier I Skill
The Summoner borrows the physical properties of their follower to generate an energy bolt projectile. The projectile copies the attribute of the follower, so a bolt created from Salamander will deal fire-based damage. As this skill derives itself from the energy of the follower, it reduces the follower's damage potential by a small amount for about 10 seconds. In exchange, the bolt itself deals a respectable amount of damage for its tier. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 10 seconds.

Castling: Tier I Skill
Much as one would protect one's own king by switching its position with a nearby rook in a game of chess, Castling follows a similar convention. It is an emergency skill that instantly switches the places of a Follower and the Summoner. There have been anecdotes of Castling being used with Soul Possession for quicker travel time. Castling may not be used in combination with a Summoned Entity. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown time of 10 seconds.

Roleplay Class: Scholar
Evaluate: This skill allows the scholar to gain additional details about the enemy. While most players can access an interface that shows the monster's name, level, current HP, and current MP, the scholar obtains an additional interface when this skill is used. It has a one second cast time and one second cooldown time. The target's elemental weaknesses and a brief summary of their skills will be made available to the Scholar any time they access the target's interface.
Crafting Class: Scribe
Transcription: Scribes are known for their ability to copy and examine documents carefully. This allows them to obtain the Adventurer skill [Mythic Script] as a Beginner-level skill without it taking up a skill slot. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. If the character can already use grimoires through racial or class bonuses, grimoire damage increases by 10%.
