We will be having a new arc that revolves around characters who are exclusively People of the Land. This will start with a beta period to allow RPers to adjust to the new setting. As such, other content like the Merchant Princesses will be described soon afterward. See the concept previews if you're curious: log-horizon.proboards.com/thread/4800/next-arc-previews
Details to know when registering a new character for the Lune plot:
- The new character must be a Person of the Land.
- You may use any character application template as long as it contains the information available in the existing character template.
- For whichever character build you select, please add any skills to your app accordingly to your class levels.
- Starting base gold for all characters will be 2500 Gold. This will be added upon character approval. Please contact a mod if you are approved and do not receive it.
- You may add faction labels to your character thread. After your thread is posted, simply go into the dropdown menu on the subforum and add accordingly.
- Do not put WIP apps in this subforum. Use the existing WIP subforum.
When making a Lune character, you may select one of the following builds:
- Main Level 30 / Crafting Level 10 / Roleplay Level 10 (Starts with three Level 30 weapons and a single Level 30 armor [custom descriptions allowed, no reforges].)
- Main Level 15 / Crafting Level 30 / Roleplay Level 15 (Starts with three Level 15 weapons and a single Level 15 armor [custom descriptions allowed, no reforges]. Also receives an additional item: Emblem of Creation.)
- Main Level 15 / Crafting Level 15 / Roleplay Level 30 (Starts with three Level 15 weapons and a single Level 15 armor [custom descriptions allowed, no reforges]. Also receives an additional item: Emblem of Perception.)
If you currently possess a Lander character, you may instead choose to:
- Select one of the above builds and apply it to your Lander character. This character will essentially receive the boosted levels of a Lune Lander, except that they will not participate in the Lune plot. Instead, you will be able to join in the plotline that is currently being arranged for existing characters.
- Should this option be chosen, you may then create a Lune Seaport character that starts out with Level 1 in all three classes.
- To apply for this, you may post in this thread on your non-Lune Lander character account, stating which build you would like to have.
- You may also remake an existing Lander character as a Lune character instead, changing up the character history as needed. This retcons the character, allowing them to participate in the Lune plotline as if they had not interacted with the Adventurers. This is essentially a full character reset, so any AP, items, gold, and claimable posts you may have on that character will be completely reset.
Boosted level Lander characters are limited to one character per RPer.
Here are the plot and factions available for the Lune Seaport. Choose carefully and wisely, as popularly supported factions will have the ability to change the plotline and the very city itself, for better or for worse...

Emblem of Creation: Lv30 accessory. A crest of the Lune Seaport, given out to crafters looking to build up their reputation in a competitive market. When equipped, it reduces the Material Fee of crafted items equal to your Crafting Level in Gold. For crafts with Material Fee, the minimum Material Fee a craft can be reduced to is 5 Gold. Only one Emblem of Creation may be equipped by a character at a time.
Emblem of Perception: Lv30 accessory. A crest of the Lune Seaport, given out to those who wish to expand and improve their profession. When equipped, it allows wearers to equip weapons and armor up to the level of their roleplay subclass's level rather than their main class level.

Here are the plot and factions available for the Lune Seaport. Choose carefully and wisely, as popularly supported factions will have the ability to change the plotline and the very city itself, for better or for worse...
Lune is a city isolated and divided. The land has been cut off from the rest of the world due to a spree of banditry and piracy leaving the once great merchant city with no routes to trade by. Their prosperity, once beyond any in the Unfounded Kingdom, now dwindles as its denizens use what surplus left to them to survive. Fear not, however. For there will be a time when heroes break through the wall of darkness that encases this land. It is not this time however, but closer than you think.
The City organizes, it's citizens flocking under the banner of their royal leaders to decide the fate of their great land. Eight districts, each with ideals much unlike the others, all vying to be on top of the other to control the city and push forward in a way they see fit. It is war, but not as you would think.
A band of thieves battles in the shadows, looking to rouse the people in revolution. The azure wardens of the central markets look to maintain what once was. Crimson machines stir in a land of industry and progress. A viridian landscape gives hope to its denizens that harmony will reign supreme. The golden hedonists look within to find understanding and better themselves through works of artistry. The amber bulwark prays that a firm order will lead them on the right path. The violet renegades plot in secret, wary of all who would speak against freedom. The white apostles wait in the shadows, knowing that all shall end and begin at the turn of an age.
You are one who labels themselves as a citizen of this once grand city, and with a shared ideal, anything can happen. Join in the fray, and bring about a new age of prosperity. It is now your time to shape the course that the world will head toward. A tale told by the People of the Land.
Elder Tale: The Unfounded Kingdom - Chapter 4: Tabusa Rasa.
What is your color?
- Blue District: Quite possibly the largest and richest of the eight districts, the blue district is home to a good number of economic giants that hold the majority of power in the city. Many of their estates in the Blue District easily flaunt their level of influence. They are looked on with envy by numerous members of the other divisions, some going as far as to call them heartless aristocrats who make fortunes out of others' suffering. While this title is true for some of them, as with any upper class caste, there are some who openly participate in the local government for the betterment of the city. The Blue District is looked upon with respect and envy by many of the other districts, with possibly the greatest hostility coming from the Black District.
Will you uphold tradition and use your influence to preserve the prestige of the city?
- Green District: The green district is perched high atop the hills overlooking Lune Seaport and is known for being green in more ways than one. They often collect rain water from the occasional storm that hits the city and uses it to irrigate their highland crops, making their district relatively self-efficient and allowing them to supply their resources to other districts as requested. Green Faction members are aligned with the wind and often use sailing mechanisms for their work and travel. If you see a hang glider or sailboat in the Lune Seaport, it is probably a member of this division. The Green District is very well-respected upon the lower class citizens due to the district's honest deeds, although it occasionally butts heads with the Red District due to the latter's industrial ambitions.
Will you stand by humanity's humble roots, even at the cost of technology?
- Yellow District: Bordering the central capital to the west, the yellow district is the region of builders and craftsmen and possibly boasts the most distinctly different architecture of the eight districts. Rather than the typical building designs used traditionally throughout the Lune Seaport, members of the yellow district strive to become innovative and will tend to incorporate ideas from all around. As such, the layout within the yellow district greatly differs from family to family, but their creative nature and hardworking dedication is something that they all share in common. The Yellow District is known to be one of the entertainment capitals in the city, its citizens eccentric and searching for amusement and style. They attract younger citizens while older Lune residents often lament that the district's tradition has become too gaudy as of late.
Will you turn the city into your very own spotlight, blinding out its potential shortcomings?
- Red District: Building its central area of operations beside hot springs and lava pools as their natural resources, the red district is home to a good number of engineers and mechanics who are often home at work with their inventions. Smoke and steam can always be seen rising from the buildings in this district, especially during the winter time. Other factions, particularly the green, view this district with a slightly negative distaste due to their industrial nature, but it is a fact that the technology of the red district is something that sustains the Lune Seaport. They are the most rapidly expanding district in terms of engineering, often angering members of the Green District through irresponsible use of their resources.
Will you work toward an era of innovation, accepting the brave new world it will become?
- Orange District: The orange district borders between the yellow and red districts, making them initially a hybrid of the two areas that gradually gained its own identity. The orange district is similar to that of the green district in that much of their resources come from the weather phenomenon. Throughout the district, they have erected tall electrical spires that collect energy and mana from lightning storms and uses that power to fuel their engineers. This makes the orange district a more cleaner environment, but the imposing appearance of the spires makes other factions wary toward the technology produced by this group. The Orange District is the premiere example of a newer district gaining identity and power, making it popular for ambitious citizens to migrate to.
Will you advocate a balanced system of government and trade, idealistic as it is?
- Violet District: The violet district's lands are primarily situated upon the islands in the Lune Seaport, making their occupations typically that of customs agents inspecting shipments coming to and from the harbor. Because of their mostly scattered lands, the people of the purple district tend to be more aloof and uncaring of faction rivalries. The waters around the islands occasionally freeze up during the winter and it is sometimes no surprise for a citizen of the Lune Seaport to not see a member of the violet faction for an entire season at a time. The Violet District is a mysterious group that sometimes defy expectations of their divided and hermit-like nature.
Will you usher forth a powerful if not treacherous sea trade?
- White District: The white district is the only landlocked region of Lune Seaport, an area farthest to the city's exterior. It is the oldest settlement of the city, noted by the two old cathedrals that stand as a sign of long tradition. Due to its placement, it will probably serve as the first area that Adventurers will stumble upon when they reach the city. It is the only district protected by the Royal Guard due to it status as the original Lune settlement. However, the allure of economic and social standings has led the citizens to migrate to the other districts. The citizens of the white district are probably the most ascetic of all the factions, practicing religions such as the Order of the Six Princesses.
Will you join the people through enlightenment?
- Black District: Stereotypically known to be the most dangerous district because of its nearly all-black design, giving the district names such as "City of Shadows." It is home to the underground black markets and admittedly houses a fair number of criminals within its boundaries. Unusually, the black district runs under a rather simple and chivalrous mindset. Help each other on your brightest of days and you will be helped in return during your darkest of nights. Members of the district are often looked upon as shady and troublesome scoundrels, but many of them are good at heart and perform their deeds in order to survive comfortably.
Will you rise up to claim your power, even if it means destroying the status quo?
Or... will you defy destiny and form a new colorless path toward a better future?
