Character Info
REAL NAME: May Flowers
REAL GENDER: Female
GAME GENDER: Female

SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
FACE-CLAIM: May, POKEMON

FACTION: Adventurer
Appearance Hoenn stands at about 5'5" and has an average sized build. She has shoulder length brown hair with bangs and bright blue eyes. She has a very expressive face which shows her emotions easily. When May created the character she went a bit large in the chest area to make up for her lack of bust in real life. It was always something she was self conscious about so she made sure to fix that. Otherwise, Hoenn is a pretty accurate representation of May. Clothing wise, she prefers bright colors, especially the color red, and wears them as often as possible. Her outfits are usually simple and easy to move around in. She doesn't put a lot of time into coordinating colors or accessories. | Personality Hoenn is very easily excited and goes through a wide range of emotions and expressions in a very short period of time - all of which are clearly displayed on her face. She is loud when she speaks, even when she thinks she is whispering. She often gets herself into trouble by sticking her nose into things she shouldn't. She's never afraid to laugh at herself when she does something stupid, though. She is honest (almost to a fault) and has nothing to hide from anyone. If she likes you, she absolutely loves you and she'll be a loyal friend in any situation. She dislikes serious topics and moods and will try and lighten up a situation if it gets too gloomy, no matter how bad it is. She often acts before she thinks, throwing herself head first into situations. Planning and weighing out her choices would not be something she would even think of so she leaves the thinking to others. That isn't to say she's stupid, she's just impulsive and more of a 'think on the go' type. In her mind, she'll figure it out when she gets to the problem - no use worrying about it before hand! She can follow directions and work in a team but every so often, she might need reigned back in and reminded of what she's supposed to be focusing on. Due to her inability to filter herself, Hoenn sometimes finds that she rubs people the wrong way. She can have a sharp tongue due to her honesty and doesn't always think before she speaks. She's quite familiar with what her foot tastes like. Unless her comments were intentional, she is quick to apologize when she realizes she's hurt someones feelings and will go to great lengths to make up with friends. |

Biography
May came from a pretty ordinary family with two siblings - one older (a huge stick-in-the-mud) and one younger (a quiet introvert). From a young age, May was full of life and a seemingly endless source of energy. No matter what emotion she was feeling, she shared it. Her mind seemed to work at a pace faster than those around her, constantly moving from one idea to the next, sometimes without enough time to even act on the first one fully before moving on.
As she grew up, May tried out an endless amount of after school activities. Almost every month she was switching to something else, looking for something that interested her. She made a lot of friends but often had trouble keeping in touch with them once she moved on to the next thing. The only two things she ever found she could focus on for extended periods of time were games and singing. She loved to dance and sing, often putting on mini performances for her friends and family. Being up on stage was fun for her as she didn't suffer from any amount of stage fright. When it came to games, the more buttons you could press the better. She especially loved flashy games with lots of effects and pretty background. She was easily sucked into fighting games and MMORPGs. The only thing she didn't like was the story aspects, so she always clicked passed those without ever reading them. It never seemed to make a difference in the end.
One day, just randomly, she stumbled upon a game known as Elder Tale. Without even bothering to read anything about it, she downloaded and installed the game. Always willing to give something new a shot, May immediately set about making a character. With almost no information on what she was getting into, she became Hoenn - a reference to an old game series she knew of.

EQUIPMENT
Left Arm | Armor Starter Leather Armor: A basic set of soft leather armor made from cheap leather. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. | Right Arm Starter Long Sword: A sword with a prominent shape designed for cutting. A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. |

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Swashbuckler
Fold Step: Tier I Skill
Using this skill, the user's body suddenly is propelled and accelerates in a desired direction. It is often used as a surprise burst of momentum when delivering an attack or used as a last-ditch dodging maneuver. The only downside to this technique is that once activated, the swashbuckler cannot stop or adjust their trajectory. It should be noted that if this skill is used for an attack, the momentum from initiating the attack will not increase damage in any way. It merely allows the Swashbuckler to quickly close in on the opponent for a possible surprise attack. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown time of 6 seconds.

Mirage Dealer: Tier I Skill
Dual wield skill. The Swashbuckler performs a forward X-slash with their two weapons to slash at an opponent, then immediately teleports a meter forward. This usually places them behind the enemy, allowing them to either bypass their line or enable them to continue attacking before the enemy realizes what just happened. Because of the flashiness of this skill, it's a popular technique among aspiring warriors. Try not to use it while the opponent's at the edge of a cliff or right against a wall, though. You'll either plummet to your death or crash face-first into a wall. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 8 seconds.

Shuffle Windmill: Tier I Skill
The Swashbuckler spins in place and performs 4 rotations with outstretched weapons, forming a horizontal sawblade attack. It can also be performed from a downed position in order to spin and transition into a final standing pose. This technique has optimal results if the lengths of both weapons are the same. Be careful of your party members' positions before you attempt it though. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 8 seconds.

Roleplay Class: Idol
Level 1 Skill
Showtime!: The Idol raises their arm in the air and causes a spotlight to shine upon the target. This spotlight starts at 2 meters above the target's height and stretches down to cover their body within its radius. When Showtime! is in effect and used in a battle, any characters standing underneath the spotlight will have their aggro temporarily increased. Enemies that do not rely on vision to detect targets are unaffected by this skill. If it is used on a crafter in a crafting thread (cannot be a speed craft), the light serves as inspirational support and can be applied as a Production Bonus, increasing the final level of the craft by 1. This bonus can only be applied once per thread per character. Items cannot have their levels increased past Level 90 by this effect. If it is used in any other context, this skill can serve as a temporary light source. The spotlight is stationary and does not move, so it is fairly simple for an enemy to escape from attention. Showtime! has a casting time of 5 seconds, a maximum range of 5 meters, a duration of 30 seconds, and a cooldown time of 60 seconds.
