Aeon, trudged ankle deep through the swamps of the Thames, the smell of decay and sulphur filled the air and the clicks and cackles of insects filled the air.
This was a murky dark place, it was as if the sun was blotted out by just the shear darkness of the ground, as the ebony black swamp water bubbled to the surface in pockets.
Aeon’s cloak dragged across the muddy ground slowly gaining weight as it picked up the mud of the swamps.
Aeon placed his footsteps carefully hoping to avoid disturbing any floating pockets of ground above the swamp waters, for falling into one of those would lead you back to the cathedral, no matter what you tried, the likely hood would be if you went through something would grab you and drag you under before you could escape or you would become stuck in the bog and die of drowning or just being drained of all your energy.
Creatures lurked in this place, creatures designed for this land, weird crocodile like creatures, there were even rumours flying around that a creature like an ancient Egyptian god lurked in this waste land hunting its prey and controlling its minions.
As Aeon made his way deeper into the swamp he came across a set of tracks that were clear as day as if something had literally blundered its way without any care through this area, that would be the worst thing to do all it would lead to is something following the trail.
That would most likely want to have you for its supper, lunch or breakfast or maybe that cheeky mid-afternoon snack.
There were small plants that were cracked, bent and snapped along the trail, clearly not the best thing in the world at hiding its route.
Aeon tried to keep a good pace hoping whatever he was following was moving slowly enough that he could outpace and catch up on whatever it was that was moving further into the swamp.
There they were right a head there was a group of 3 goblins clearly lost in this wilderness blundering their way through with no care, There was a loud crack from there direction as something broke.
Then launching on top of one was a large newt like creature its slivering hide was dotted with red marks, its eyes bright yellow and reptilian. As its small razor like teeth bit deep into the smallest goblin, crushing its throat in an instant.
Of the two remaining goblins one looked unnerved the largest of the pair, it repositioned itself around the newt, as it gouged its teeth into its gurgling screaming comrade pulling it apart with ease. The large goblin drove its spear in deep to the newt flank and it recoiled sideways, as blood leaked from its flank. The creature let out a large hiss at the large goblin, turning to face it.
The other goblin also was fairly small it stumbled over its feet falling backwards, pushing itself backwards as the newt had begun tearing apart its comrade, it scrambled its way on its hands and knees through the low swamp water, trying to regain its footing to run away.
The larger goblin and the newt continued their battle, the newt seemed to bloat a sack under its throat in the direction of the goblin, moving its throat and head backwards it seemed to be moving to regurgitate something.
The Large clearly more experienced goblin tried to side step, but was glanced along its arm by a small puff of flames from the mouth of the newt.
Meanwhile the fleeing goblin stumbled up through the mud in Aeon’s direction, running as fast as it could.
Aeon kept himself down as it approached preparing the draw his sword, he fancied using some of his berserker talents for this one and it would be a less obvious approach than literally blowing swamp water into the sky with lightning or possibly electrocuting himself as it passed through the water.
Over at the battle, the bulky goblin brought its spear down with a crack on the side of the newt’s head cutting into its eye, as the creature recoiled, a black ichor leaked from its eye, as the multiple lids tried to close over the injury.
The Newt swung its head back viciously, clamping its teeth into the shaft of the spear biting down hard, with a might crunch it bit through the spear shaft, shattering head from handle. Leaving the goblin with a pointy stick.
The goblin let out a cackle of disgust.
However, as the other goblin continued running, Aeon made his move, the goblin wasn’t prepared for an ambush its spear dragging through the mud.
As the sword launched from its hilt from Aeon’s right handed right sided draw, slicing into the goblins flank as the creature stumbled over its feet and plunged face first into the mud.
Aeon brought his sword round once more down towards the goblin, but this guy was quick it rolled awkwardly through the mud, avoiding the blade.
Quickly it scampered to its feet, thrusting towards Aeon with its makeshift spear. Twisting his sword Aeon brought his sword up to attempt to block, as sword and wood scrapped along each other, the spear head pierced through Aeon’s cloak as the goblin rapidly pulled itself and the spear away, tearing itself out through the cloak before the sword could get to far down the spear shaft.
Over on the other side, the goblin and the newt were still at it, the frustrated goblin swung a punch into the top of newt’s head sending it bouncing off the slightly liquid like floor of the swamp.
The newt put weight onto its back legs and launched itself forwards towards the goblin, overwhelming it and knocking it over with its sheer weight, as it landed on top of the creature pinning it to the floor as the thin layer around the broke, from the sudden movement of weight causing goblin and newt to plunge into the swampy water.
Aeon continued his fight with his goblin, it was a rapid attempts at stabbing one another, it had taken some time but Aeon found his opening, sighting to the side as the goblin lunged with its spear, catching in his cape.
Aeon grabbed the shaft of the spear as the momentum still carried forwards, pulling it with his strength to. The goblin reacted to slowly stumbling over its feet instead of releasing its spear as, Aeon stabbed forwards with his sword as the goblin fell onto the blade. The blade dug straight through the thin goblin, as it keeled over on his blade, it coughed up blood before it exploded into coins and bubbles.
As Aeon ended the life of the goblin, he saw a splash swamp water launching itself into the air, as a rather swampy newt dragged itself bleeding in its jaws back to the surface, the goblin was still breathing as it tried in its weakened state to punch the newt, as blood leaked from its shredded body. The newt backed itself up moving the goblin in its mouth as it dragged its feast onto a solid mound to enjoy its meal.
Aeon slowly moved in hoping the fact that maybe the goblin blood that had coated him would attack as a kind of masking agent as the newt was now gorging its face into goblin flesh while the creature still lived as if it was trying to feast on the creature before it turned into nothing.
The goblin let out a near constant howl and scream of agony as the beast, continued before the goblin burst into bubbles as it ran out of health points.
Aeon was quite close now hopefully close enough to ambush the blood covered newt and finish it off as well.
But the creature knew he was there it turned its gaze onto him it felt like minutes past by in seconds as its one eye peered deep into him, the creature let out a large hiss and reared itself backwards, preparing to launch itself onto Aeon.
As the creature prepared this Aeon, quickly cast Serpents bolt, bringing his left palm to his chest then back off as the creature launched itself onto him, throwing his sword from his hand and impaling it deep into the swampy floor.
Now it was a tussle of fists and newt claws, as the newt tried to bite Aeon as he kept his knees up into its front legs as they tried to claw just out of reach and his hands wrestling around the creature’s gills trying to bite him only inches away from his face.
The beast let out a low hiss as its began to bloat the pouch in its neck as it recoiled its head and opened its mouth, the pouches continued to grow in size. It seemed as if it was using some form of reaction to build up what would most likely be methane gas and what looked to be to metal like teeth, the pouches condensed as it went to close part of its mouth.
This had taken just about 3 seconds as the two pieces closed, the lightning overloaded from Aeon’s body sparking up and around crackling and igniting the build-up that was still within the creatures mouth, the gas sparked exploding within the creature, the back of its neck was torn apart by the force.
The creature exploded into a shower of bubbles. As Aeon leant his head back onto the floor, panting rather scratched up from the encounter.

"Healing Light!"
The words echoed from seemingly out of nowhere...or, at the very least, it probably would have seemed out of nowhere from Aeon's perspective. In reality, it was just a couple feet behind him. Regardless, a white light flew toward the Sorcerer and, upon making contact with him, completely enveloped his body. Almost immediately, the light's effect was clear. His scratches started healing themselves, and his pain was relieved. As a direct result, his health went back up a bit. All in all, it wasn't that much of a health increase, but it would be enough to keep Aeon in the fight against the remaining Ember Newt, and, luckily, the spell had a rather fast cooldown, which made it a popular beginning spell for Clerics. It was certainly the main reason she chose it.
As it turned out, Lucia had been wandering aimlessly through the swamp, looking to see if there were any weak enemies she might be able to grind off of. Sadly, she was still only at level 1, as she had spent most of her time since the Catastrophe trying to find ways to make food taste good. After hitting a wall, she realized that she hadn't done any fighting at all, and decided to set out. After all, can't be much of a combat medic if don't level yourself up. Either way, it was nice to know that Clerics could take hits better than other healing classes, due to their ability to equip plate armor. A lot of them opted for less encumbering equipment, but, personally, it suited Lucia just fine. It always helps when a healer doesn't have to worry about taking hits.
Either way, one can probably imaging the girl's surprise. She came here looking for a weak enemy or two to grind against, and she found what looked like a sorcerer wrestling an Ember Newt. There was something you didn't see every day. Just when the creature looked like it was ready to torch the guy with some sort of breath weapon, the Sorcerer did...something. She wasn't quite sure what he did, to be honest. All she knew was that she was pretty sure she saw electricity involved, and it pretty much ended the newt. Needless to say, it was rather impressive to watch. However, there seemed to be another Ember Newt in the area. Based on levels, it seemed a bit out of her league...but, she figured she could at least keep Aeon alive long enough to take care of this opponent. Having gotten herself involved, she would have felt bad if she had let him die right then and there.
As such, here they were now. After casting her spell, she called out to him "Hope you don't mind me butting in. You looked like you could use a bit of a pick-me-up!" She then looked to the Newt, shuddering a bit before she continued "That thing looks kinda strong, so I don't think I'd be much help against it. But, I didn't wanna just leave you on your own, so I figured I could at least keep your HP from getting too low. If that's alright with you..." As always, Lucia was fairly direct. She wasn't the type to dance around the subject...straight and to the point. That was how she liked things to be. Either way, the look on her face made it rather clear that she didn't really plan on leaving, regardless of what Aeon said. She was that kind of person. Even before she started playing Elder Tales, she was the type who couldn't leave someone who looked like they needed help behind, regardless of how much that person actually wanted it.
Meanwhile, she drew her sword and readied her shield, just on the off chance that her healing spell generated enough Hate to make her a target of the remaining Newt. Clerics, as already mentioned, are capable of wearing armor, and have pretty decent HP as well. As such, she was confident that she could take at least a few hits, even with the Newt having a clear advantage in terms of level. Unfortunately, Clerics lack offensive power on their own...it was pretty clear that she was going to have to rely on equipment if she wanted to deal any noticeable damage. Especially since she was only level 1 and still using her starter equipment. Hopefully, she might be able to find a way to increase both her healing abilities and her damage potential, both with physical attacks and the light-based spells that Clerics were able to learn. As much as she enjoyed supporting others, Elena always liked being able to hold her own by herself.
But that was something she would have to worry about some other time. For now, she'd have to focus on the battle at hand. Because of their difference in levels, she didn't want to have to engage the Newt if it could be avoided. Normally, she wouldn't have minded, but she wasn't very confident that she would be much help in the actual fight, thanks to her low level. Still, she needed experience in a battle, and what better way for a healer to gain experience than to help someone not die? Even if it wasn't that much, the quick casting and cooldown times should be more than enough to sustain Aeon's HP, long enough for him to finish the battle. Or, at least, that what Lucia's was hoping. Even now, this was more or less her first time actually battling something since she started playing this game, even before the Catastrophe hit. Of course, she never quite expected it to feel so real. At least she knew that, if she died, it wouldn't be permanent, but that didn't make her any less anxious about this whole thing. For now, all she could do was wait for either Aeon or the Ember Newt to make their first move, and respond accordingly...in spite of how nervous she was, she could already tell this was going to be fun.

Aeon had been caught by surprise when he was suddenly flooded by light while he was lying down, why someone would be so far out in the swamps was a bit of a mystery to him, the would surely be lost and just lucky to stumble on some dude lying on some of the solid ground of the swamp. As the electricity still continued to arc off him for a small amount of time before stopping after dissipating what remained of its energy. As he rolled himself over and began getting himself up slowly stretching out as his health was rather rapidly replenished due to his low health level as a Sorcerer and member of The Race of the Ritual. His cloak filled with holes from spear heads and ripped by talons as well as covered with horrible mud of the swamp. Rather woken from the sudden flush of energy that had surrounded him, he raised his hand and waved towards the female healer. She was rather short, he thought and with that extremely long blond hair, well surely that proves the fact they aren’t too smart because that must get in the way during combat, the prepared mind set in him told him that what if you were running away from someone or something trying to grab at you, getting hold of the hair would be easy at that length, then you lose balance and then you’re at their mercy. Though she was rather heavily armoured, it a rather dark and shiny iron plate mail, she had a small shield which looked rather shabby maybe a starter item that hadn’t been replaced yet, as she drew her sword. Aeon wondered what she was doing, maybe she wanted a fair fight or something along those lines as he had not noticed the second newt as yet. Aeon recognised the sword it was similar to what he had started with, it seemed to dawn on him that this player must be rather low level to be with that type of equipment, why would you stumble so far off into the swamps. He then heard a low hiss, as another newt slumped its way over the ground in her direction, this one was slightly smaller than the one Aeon had battled before, it was best for him to assume that this could have been a mated pair, it would be interesting he wondered if they mated for life or if it was done in breeding cycles with random partners. Aeon shouted “s***, why are you out here with these monsters so much higher than you”
As the newt began to move at speed towards her. Aeon, stumbled to his feet, grabbing his sword as he made a run towards the newt, bolting his way as quickly as he could in the newt’s direction. Serpents bolt was still recharging, he would have to engage the newt first or he was sure the cleric would end up getting eaten. Aeon dropped into a charge, aiming to ram into the newt with his left shoulder. Word Count: 510 Lucia

Once she got a close look at Aeon, she was rather surprised. Not only was he a Sorcerer, but he was a Race of Ritual, as well. This was, to say the least, unexpected. Race of Ritual was one of the eight races, known for their ridiculously high magic power. However, this was offset by an insanely low HP growth rate. Considering that most of the magic-based jobs already had a low base HP to begin with, it wasn't that surprising to find out it was easily the least-chosen race in the game, making them something of a rarity. And yet, here she was, in front of a Race of Ritual Sorcerer...who was wrestling with Ember Newts. Considering how low his HP had to have been, that last part kinda baffled her. The only explanation she could think of was that he must have picked Berserker as his Role Playing subclass. Still, no matter how you looked at it, it was a bizarre combination. It was rather interesting, but definitely bizarre.
Unfortunately, she didn't have time to think about it any more than that, as a second Ember Newt appeared from out of nowhere and set its sights on her. "Crap there's a second one?!" Of course, looking back, Lucia realized it was probably dumb to assume that it would be as simple as "stay in the background and heal the Berserker Wizard". Although, one thing she noticed was that this one seemed smaller; maybe it was a lower level than the ones she had seen Aeon fighting. Regardless, as she heard his question, she let out a sigh. As much as she hated to admit it, he kinda had a point "Well...I heard that the snails were good for grinding early on, due to how slow they are, so I came out here to find some." She let out a sigh, and added "Guess I got a bit lost, though. If I had known this would happen, I-" Before she could finish that thought, the Newt lunged at her with its claws. Crap. Looked like she'd better focus on the battle.
Moving quickly, she raised her shield in hopes of blocking the claws. However, before it could land the strike, Aeon intercepted the Newt's attack with a ramming attack, much to the girl's relief. Still, she couldn't just sit there and do nothing. After Aeon had rammed the lizard, she waited for an opening and lunged in. With a swing of her sword, she performed a vertical attack at the Newt with her sword. She scored a perfect hit, slashing it across the face, which caused it to slither back before she could attempt a second attack. Its health also dropped a bit, but not by much. It didn't seem to pay much attention to her though. Being the stronger of the two, it's Hate was focused on Aeon, so it barely acknowledged her even after she had attacked. Lucia couldn't help but wonder if this was intentional on his part, or if it just sort of worked out that way. Lucia couldn't complain, but she was kind of annoyed at the same time. Even if it was definitely a very good thing right now, being ignored like that sort of pissed her off.
Still, despite this, she did her best to pull her weight in the fight. When the chance presented itself, she'd move in for a quick attack. Even if her attacks didn't do much damage, it would still add up with Aeon's attacks. Once her Healing Light was ready to be used again, she'd immediately cast it on Aeon, since he would undoubtedly be the one taking the most damage. The Ember Newt did strike at her a few times, but she was able to take the hits surprisingly well thanks to her plate armor. It seemed that her assumptions were true. While Clerics had fairly good defense, their offense left a bit to be desired. Hopefully, she'd be able to find a way to work around the lack of offense, but she was definitely enjoying the benefits of plate armor right now. Anything lighter, and she'd probably be close to dying right right now. Either way, she did what she could, but, for the most part, she realized she'd probably have to leave the bulk of the fighting to Aeon. For now, she'd just do her best to support him...and hope he wouldn't be too angry at her for butting into this fight. As mentioned before, sometimes she simply can't help herself when it comes to aiding someone who looks like they need help.

Leila has never been in a prison during her life outside of this game but one thing was for certain in the case Leila ever became confined into a lock down, the daily exercises that are part of Leila's life will always be with her, inside a game wouldn't be any different but in this case, the body being trained is a digital one and of course that means leveling it up. It would be optimal to do said leveling together with Leila's friends but life always find a way to destroy one plans, having lost contact with her real life friends even before they could add each other to their friends list, Leila had no other option than to go solo for the moment, as long as everyone is inside the game, it will be a matter of time before Leila find them again, until then it is a solo run.
Using skills in this current game world was more difficult than what it is worth, obviously Leila knows that skills have their use and would make battles easier at the long run but it simply wasn't practical to open the skill menu during the battle and the shortcuts are now useless since there aren't any F1-F10 keys anywhere in sight, long story short, Leila can only use her basic attacks which by the way, work a lot better now that the 'realism' factor have been buffed up and Leila do know how to bring the pain to someone else, although this Guardian body wasn't moving as fast as Leila is used to, one of the many cons of being a Lv1 player.
"This is ridiculous, I should be able to move like I always did even in here if this is my body!"
If this really was Leila's real body that is it, something that will be a bit harder for Leila to notice since she customized her avatar to look the same as her original looks, a double-edged sword in many ways. All the possible theories about how this weird world will be left for some other time since right now, it is smashing time! If Leila's current body isn't moving as she would like it to and the levels remain here, then the answer is obvious, raise your level and you shall go back to your former glory or become even stronger, while inside the game. Glorious moment aside, Leila have to be careful here since it is unknown what death in this word entails, much like back at the real world. Unfortunately it seems that not everyone thought of this possibility as Leila finds a pair of mages fighting goblins or some other form of low-level monster . . . head-on, they either are really strong or really reckless, not that Leila was someone that could call others on being reckless.
"Oooooryaaaaaaa!!"
Leila approach the duo by giving a full body tackle at the enemy the mage had rammed, this world might make things more complicated with the level system and the very non-intuitive skill system, one thing works just the same as the real world and that is physics, Leila's bigger and heavier mass, counting the armor too of course, and speed generated enough strength to knock the monster away, pushing it even farther away of the players here, positioning herself between the mages and the monsters, like a tank should do, where a tank character should be. Regardless of the mages needing help or not, Leila was here already and ready to earn herself some experience, it being shared was the least of the problems for the boisterous girl.
"Let me into the fun as well!"

As Aeon tussled with the first newt.
Claws and fists flying at each other as one tried to get the upper hand, watching this must have been funny because you don’t see a lizard and a man trying to beat seven bells out of each other every day.
Aeon heard some sort of speech over the multitude of sounds coming from his fist fight with the newt. Through his multitude of cursing and the growls and grunts of the Ember Newt he was battling as he tried to keep its head from getting in his arc.
Suddenly the Newt he was fighting disappeared from in front of him in a blink of an eye.
Looking around quickly, Aeon was completely oblivious to where his newt had gone, it had been tackled and was now fighting a guardian.
Aeon found himself locating a Guardian and yet again another level one in an area with higher level mobs.
Aeon exclaimed loudly “it’s like I attract level one players or something, do I have level one magnetism or something”
Aeon was completely oblivious to the fact they were female character level ones, what did he care in MMO’s it didn’t matter if you were male or female just if you could fight and survive, he had grown to respect many female players in his younger years, many of them being like cousins to him.
Aeon took out his sword and said “Thunderbolt Crash”, Aeon's Racial markings appeared to hum a low white undertone as he did this.
As electricity funnelled from his left hand into his blade forking into the blade sending streams of lightning up along the blade, as the energy streamed into the blade creating a fuzzy electrical white skin to the blade.
Aeon charged the tackled beast sword drawn back moving in for the lunge.

It seemed like they were doing pretty well against this Ember Newt, all things considered. At first, she was a bit nervous, but she was slowly getting the hang of the combat in this strange world. Her hopes were to get strong enough that she could at least hold her own while by herself. Sure, she was playing a support class whose main purpose was to heal allies, but it didn't mean she couldn't throw in some offense as well. In fact, there was a prime example of something out of the norm right in front of her. If someone had told her that she'd see a Sorcerer, who was part of a race known for rather terrible HP growth no less, meleeing a bunch of Ember Newts like he was a frickin' brawler, she would've thought they were stupid. Or insane. Maybe a little bit of both. And yet, here she was, watching Aeon do just that. It was fun to watch, to say the least.
Then, from out of nowhere, someone charged in and tackled the Newt that Aeon was engaging. Wait what? It all happened so fast that it wasn't until after the fact that her brain was able to register just what was going on. Once she got a good look at the mystery person, she was...rather pleased. From what she could tell, based on their appearance, they were a Guardian, and seemed to be wearing the basic equipment like she was. Also, she was kinda hot. Yeah she was definitely gonna have to do a bit of flirting once this battle was done. But, that would have to come later. They were kinda in the middle of fighting a fire-breaking lizard after all. Of course now came a bit of a dilemma. She only had one healing skill, and she could only target one person with it...so...who should she heal? The female level 1 tank? Or the <insert Aeon's level> Sorcerer who, despite being capable of dealing more damage than the both of them combined, had extremely poor HP and not very strong defenses?
As she weighed which one would need the healing more, she listened to Aeon's complaints and couldn't help but smirk "If all of the Level 1 people you attract are as sexy as she is, then I say keep 'em coming." She spoke out loud, purposely making sure that the both of them would be able able to hear it. As always, she was pretty much shameless in regards to her sexuality, and she didn't really care who knew. Either way, as Aeon once again went on the offensive, she nodded and cast her Healing Light on Aeon again. He was taking the brunt of the Newt's attacks it seemed, and his low HP and poor defense probably meant that he needed it the most. Then, she resumed her previous tactic of rushing forward and getting in a quick hit whenever she got the chance. Like before, she knew she wasn't doing a whole lot of damage, but every little bit counts. And besides, Personally, she couldn't wait to level-up a bit, especially since it meant gaining new skills. She already knew what she was getting next, though it could come at the cost of limited healing ability for the next few levels. But, if this "Martyr Spear" was anywhere near as awesome as it sounded, then it would be well worth it.
At this point, Lucia was beginning to notice signs that the Newt was starting to weaken. Perhaps it was close to falling. At least, that's what she was hoping. If they were lucky, there wouldn't be any more nearby and they could escape this place. Admittedly, it was her fault for coming out here in the first place, but it was still a bit inconvenient to be out here in a place with such strong creatures when she was only level 1. In spite of how bad she felt for showing up out of the blue while Aeon was fighting, it was probably a pretty good thing she found him when she did. Of course, the only reason she was so deep into the swamp in the first place was because she had gotten lost. As she told him, she only came here because heard that the Grimy Swamp Snails were good for grinding early levels, due to how slow they were. As for the rather attractive Guardian who showed up out of nowhere? Well, she had no clue why she was out here. Not that she was complaining, of course.

Battle infiltration successful, Leila was done fighting on her own and found herself some players that are in need of help, not because they are incapable or weak, since for a fact, Leila had no idea how good at battle those two are or even their levels, grading their strength by looks alone in this digital world is possible but not as accurate as in the real world. The reason why Leila convinced herself that they need help is simply because of their class, both are mages and are fighting in close quarters with a monster, even if they are good enough to deal with this one without much of a problem, that isn't a good strategy in the long run since as everyone knows, mages are terrible in direct combat as a basic rule of any RPG, Elder Tale wouldn't be an exception, Leila was sure that she had this right even thought she does not know the other classes all that well, having fell in love with the Guardian class at first sight and now with this more than perfect chance to enact her role as the protector of the 'weaker' ones, a role Leila was well used to in the real world.
Although the mage class may indeed be physically weaker than a warrior class, Leila could only notice that those two were more experienced than her in battling at this world, at least to the point that they could use their skills with such ease even during a real battle like this, something that Leila had yet to figure out herself and of course, seeing those two doing it, seeing that it was possible to have a functional use of skills even when the gameplay changed so drastically, Leila couldn't be the only one being left behind!
"Hey! How do you two use your skills so swiftly?"
An important piece of information like that need to be acquired as soon as possible, surely Leila only have one skill right now but it still was a very useful one when it comes to keep the heat away from others, in this case, the two mages. There was no way for Leila to know if they would simply share this 'amazing secret' or not but being in a situation where no one had too much time to think things through could be helpful to Leila's case right now albeit that also being limited since Leila usefulness as a Guardian have yet to come through and shine in order to have those two think that it is important to have a tanker around. Now, while it is common to go silent while you wait for an answer to a question, Leila's silence was more than just that as if one would take notice on the female Guardian, her eyes were drifting all over the place while her hand that holds the sword was making small but precise movements, not combat movements but smaller ones, like when one moves a mouse to click whenever he or she may desire.
Yes, Leila was using her skill in the most basic and futile way, given the current conditions, that is selecting it at the menu HUD that magically hovers in front of her as if it were some hi-tech sci-fi panel, an obvious gesture to anyone that dared to take their eyes away from battle and focused, only for an instant, on Leila, yes, she made the mistake of ignoring the Ember Newt while she activated one of the most useful skills for a Guardian, Anchor Howl, very quietly even since normally there is no need to shout your skill name for it to take effect. The very same skill that compels any surrounding enemies to target the caster, thus letting the mages free to wreak havoc to the monster, given that Leila can survive it attacks. While taking the eyes away from the monster was indeed a mistake, Leila knew that her tackle alone wouldn't make the monster switch targets that easily and for all that she knows, those two were fighting the monster much longer than her, the aggro the monster had on them should be higher than the one of a simple tackle, this is when Anchor Howl come into the play, pulling all of that aggro towards Leila alone.
"I just used my skill, it will come for me now! Beat it ass now, Sorcerer!"
In Leila's mind, this was the best way to deal with this situation, the healer could focus on only one player now and the mage can dish all the damage he wants without much worry now, the only problem was the level difference between Leila and the monster, it wasn't a overbearing difference but it was enough to have it attacks hurt quite a bit if Leila were to take every hit, especially with this basic equipment, there wasn't much of a choice here if not dodge or block the attacks until the rest of the team managed to defeat this monster. Quite the predicament but Leila was smiling, it have been quite a while since she felt pressure like this from an enemy and this was as amusing as it was dangerous for her.

It had been pretty rapid, his low health allowed for rather quick regeneration of his health from healing, but surely it must be taking a heavy toll on the cleric’s mana point count, surely they would run out of the ability to be able to sustain both him and the guardian quickly.
Speaking of the Guardian she was in trouble herself, even with the power and health for tanking of the guardian with its shield as extra defence, no level one player should be fighting close quarters with a creature so much higher than them.
Aeon wondered if the guardian would collapse at any second from the mauling they were receiving, oddly enough the newt had yet to spray fire from its maw.
Aeon shouted to the Guardian “pretty good for a new blood, back in my hay days of MMO’s I used to be a tanker, good to see you are still in one piece”
As she gained its full attention, Aeon was rather worried if she dropped it would most likely target the cleric whom had been building up their threat steadily, while Aeon had been mostly out of the action wounded during this battle due to the more surprise event of it.
As the creature lurched up towards the guardian, Aeon ran straight at.
Aeon shouted “O f*** it”
As he closed in Aeon kicked off the ground with both feet at once, as he came closer bringing up his knees to his body, aiming his feet at its belly, Aeon planned to drop kick the bugger.
