Appearance Standing 5'5" (168 cm), Elwen isn't tall for an elf. She has a lithe build and moves with the practiced, measured poise of a swordswoman. Her blue eyes are large and expressive, giving her a youthful appearance that is not helped by her almost gawkish, adolescent body. Her blue hair is long, reaching past her waist when she hasn't bothered to put it up. She tends to dress in white with blue highlights, favoring tight, sleek clothing that does not interfere with her swordplay. In real life, David is a young man in his twenties, still possessed of a slender build, but with short, brown hair and green eyes. He stands half a foot taller and being shorter in Elder Tale isone of the many things he is struggling to get used to since the Apocalypse. | Personality In real life, David was quite extroverted, one of the reasons he selected 'swashbuckler' as his class. Now, trapped in a body vastly different than his own, Elwen is more introverted. Part of this is due to the change in gender, partly due to the change in age. When people treat you like a demure elven girl, soon you start to act like one. Her mind is still very analytic, carefully weighing the pros and cons of each decision. Fortunately she is very flexible, able to go with the flow in even the most unexpected of situations. When someone earns her trust she can be very playful, even teasing. As time has passed since the Apocalypse, her mind, like her voice, has changed to be more feminine in matching her appearance. Because she is so reluctant to let people get close, she is fiercely loyal to her friends. She is also incredibly competitive, a holdover from her old life. She has the wit and brilliant mind necessary to flourish as a swashbuckler, but a lack of confidence in her new body sometimes holds her back from truly excelling as an adventurer. |

Biography
David was going to grad school when he first discovered Elder Tales. He had always been bright as a child, but was late getting into MMOs, having always favored single player games before. Still, his girlfriend convinced him to try it out so he logged in and rolled up a character. His girlfriend, Michelle, was in an all female guild so he rolled up a female elf swashbuckler so they could adventure together. Little did he suspect the impact that decision would have on his future. He stopped playing when Michelle moved to France to study abroad, since she would be on a different server there. One day, after finishing work on his thesis, David decided to log back in to his Elder Tales account, and see what the new expansions had added. She woke up later, blue hair in her face, staring up at the sky, trapped in a strange body in a strange world...

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Swashbuckler
Fold Step: Tier I Skill
Using this skill, the user's body suddenly is propelled and accelerates in a desired direction. It is often used as a surprise burst of momentum when delivering an attack or used as a last-ditch dodging maneuver. The only downside to this technique is that once activated, the swashbuckler cannot stop or adjust their trajectory. It should be noted that if this skill is used for an attack, the momentum from initiating the attack will not increase damage in any way. It merely allows the Swashbuckler to quickly close in on the opponent for a possible surprise attack. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown time of 6 seconds.

Dual wielding has its merits in granting the swashbuckler with an opportunity to apply two different effects to the opponent upon a successful hit, while fighting with the Fencing Style sacrifices this versatility for a greater form of fighting stability.
