Yet another day in this new reality, how ironic that this reality is so similar to that of the game I was going to play, but oh well. Everything here is real, and I have a friend as proof of that, known as Dan Springer. This Dan Springer is a person of the land, what would be an NPC in game, yet he is an actual person with an actual life. Now he is a real nice guy, so he gave me an offer to live in his house, which I graciously accepted and now I am basically a roommate with him. We both try our best to keep things workable and sustain our daily lives, so I keep on venturing out into the Savill Flower Grove to train on all these weak slimes to fund our lives and get ingredients for food. "Why ingredients" you ask? well that is because we found out how to make actual food, which is cooking like in the other world, but you have to be a chef or it turns into gooey mush, and judging by level if you are too low level in your chef subclass it will also turn into mush.
Anyway enough about cooking, it's time for me to leave for my regular "grinding". "I'll be going now Dan, you know where to go to bring me lunch." "Ok, I'll see you then Tremora" I went out to go to my regular training spot when I overheard some talk between some guild members, I believe it was something about forming an actual government for the adventurers..... I hope it doesn't turn into a tyranny, otherwise things will be very bad for The People Of The Land. With this bit of shocking news seeped in I go over to my spot in the Savill Flower Grove, hoping to find some of those garden snakes to get my revenge on. Why revenge? well that's because I almost died to a group of them, which I was only saved by the broken shambles of my puppet that I used to spare time for my skill Magi Lightning. Grand Fall, a skill that takes a long while to cast and does very good damage. Anyway, back to snake hunting, and since they are camouflaged I have to really concentrate to find those jerks, which lucky me I stumbled on two of them that are level 5. Time to test out my new skill for dealing with these little monsters. The Orb of Lava, a multi-hitting, bouncing, fire projectile which never affects allies. Very popular, and very deadly, so I aim it to bounce of the first snake into the face of the other, hopefully killing them in one shot.
But unfortunately, I didn't notice the level 5 garden snake right behind me, so after shooting my Orb of Lava and killing those other two, I was bitten right on the shoulder with a poison fang which hurt immensely. There were many things I wish not to have to experience in life, snake venom is one of them, and I got a fresh dose right into my bloodstream. Anyway, after pummeling it to death with my puppet and spells, I decide that I need a break and head over to the meeting place, but for what exactly? Here is my answer, for lunch, because after fighting you are almost always tired and hungry, so what better way to get rid of that than sit under a tree, surrounded by flowers, with the sun gently breaking through the leaves with a well cooked lunch in hand. Soooooo relaxing, and just what everyone needs after a good workout, which is all the better when you recently suffered from a poisoning. So when I come to the meeting spot I notice Dan talking to someone, another Person of the Land it seems, and it looked like they were having an important and private talk because they suddenly silenced themselves when I approached.
"What were you guys talking about? It looked quite important to you two." "Nevermind Tremora, oh wait I forgot about the introductions, Tremora, this is my brother Will, Will, this is my new friend Tremora." "I'm pleased to meet you Will." "Same, so, my brother says you are an adventurer, is that true?" Suddenly I get a feeling of suspicion, mixed with distrust and fear, so he is wondering about what I'm after from his brother. Well, as they say, honesty is the best policy and I'll give him exactly what he wants. "Yes I am an adventurer, and if your wondering what I'm doing around your brother, it's basically a sort of symbiotic relationship, he cooks and does other miscellaneous stuff while I fight to get money to fund us. It's as simple as that, and I'm sorry if I'm making you worry about him, If you want him safe I will make sure nothing happens to him" "Oh really? Then how are you going to protect him when you are so low level?" "I'll train and become a higher level, simple as that, I used to be level 1 a week ago, and now I'm level 6, is that proof enough that I will protect your brother?" "........... fine, you win, I'll let you stay with my brother for now, but if I find you doing anything to him....... anyway it's time for me to leave, I'm going home brother, so see you again." "I hope that he starts trusting me.... *sigh* so Dan, is your brother always like this? Or is it only around strangers?" "As far as I can remember, he has always been like this, anyway, don't let it bother you, it's time to eat." And so we ate lunch under a tree in the sunbathed flower filled Savill Flower Grove
