Fiona O'Kearney Person of the Land - Fox Tail - Summoner - Courtesan - Tailor - ♀ [attr="class","equipicon"] [attr="class","equipdescription"]Modified Blue Kimono: Level 15 Cloth Armor. Originally a beautiful dress whose design came from a land far away; its owner has made a number of alterations to comply to both her fashion sense and practicability in terms of mobility. Being mere cloth, and rather low level, it doesn't protect the wearer too much, but the alterations coupled with the fact that cloth has rather negligible weight grants the user the agility and mobility to dodge. [attr="class","equipicon"] [attr="class","equipdescription"]Ornamental Rune Metaled Wakizashi: Level 15 Rune Metaled One-Handed Sword. A smuggled item from outside of Lune, this wakizashi, while beautiful, is rather poor for combat, more ornamental than practical. While the runes on the blades allow it to launch a ranged attack; while a novelty, even the blade's owner finds this ability to be a waste of time and energy. The quality of the materials that compose this blade greatly varied but averaged out to be rather poor. The blade's owner only purchased it for its rather unique properties and beauty rather than for effectiveness. The weapon's external beauty, despite the quality of materials used to forge it, can only be attributed to the overall skill of its unknown blacksmith. [attr="class","equipicon"] [attr="class","equipdescription"]Vampire Killer Replica: Level 15 Whip. A leather whip smuggled into Lune. The merchant who tried to sell the whip attempted to trick people into believing it was a legendary weapon, once used to slay countless vampires thus the name Vampire Killer. However, the whip was proven to be a fake and the merchant thrown into prison. Though the whip was purchase after the merchant's arrest, at a greatly reduced price of course. Despite the rather low quality of its material components, the whip really does give off that legendary weapon vibe. In the end though, it is still just a plain old leather whip. Its creator must be rather skilled to make such a mediocre weapon look so potent. [attr="class","equipicon"] [attr="class","equipdescription"]Emblem of Creation: Level 30 Accessory. A crest of the Lune Seaport, given out to crafters looking to build up their reputation in a competitive market. When equipped, it reduces the Material Fee of crafted items equal to your Crafting Level in Gold. For crafts with Material Fee, the minimum Material Fee a craft can be reduced to is 5 Gold. Only one Emblem of Creation may be equipped by a character at a time. [attr="class","equipicon"] [attr="class","equipdescription"]Accessory Name: Level # Accessory Description. Fate/ Series PLAYED BY. Luna [attr="class","infotitle"]Appearance [attr="class","infobox"] Fiona stands at 163cm, has pink hair, and is a therianthrope being with the appearance of a human possessing fox characteristics, possessing both fluffy ears and a fluffy tail. In fact, it can be said that her ears and tail are her pride, though she does worry about the thought of growing additional tails as her level rises. Her overall figure can be described as seductive, especially when paired with her usual clothing. Speaking of which, her preferred styles of clothing while seductive, aren't overly so. They do reveal a decent amount of skin and put some emphasis on her assets, but it can't be said that they are too aggressive. The best phrase to describe her clothing sense, and her look overall, would likely be "seductive but refined." Many within her presence often describe her as a rather alluring person, but one with an air of nobility and dignity. [attr="class","infotitle"]Personality [attr="class","infobox"] As head of the prominent O'Kearney family, Fiona generally displays a calm and mature front, carrying a noble and dignified air around her—though one with a hint of seductiveness. Raised to be well-mannered and punctual, Fiona uses her intelligence to act with calculating and decisive grace, though she tends to be a bit of a flirt at times. However, this has led her to be rather stubborn—once Fiona has her mind set on something, she will use every resource at her disposal to fulfill her goal—and her stubbornness has further led towards a bit of cockiness, but not to the point of her recklessly tackling on impossible goals. Despite her usual serious public demeanor, Fiona is rather silly and cheerful in private, almost comical actually. If she had to guess whether her mature and serious self or her goofy and cheerful self were the real Fiona, she would likely lie that her mature and serious self was the real her while knowing deep down that the comic relief version of her is the real Fiona. However, she rarely shows this Fiona to anyone, even those close to her; the only person who has ever seen this side of her on a regular basis is her little sister, whom she adores and dotes on. Fiona is also, genuinely, a kind-hearted person. She doesn't see showing kindness to be something expected out of her position or her duty towards the commoners. Instead, she simply sees it as something she wants to do. After all, Fiona isn't exactly of noble birth despite her current status. However, towards enemies, those who earned her ire, Fiona is nothing but a merciless whirling torrent of vengeance and hate. Her stubbornness makes it difficult for her to forgive people, and once she sets off on revenge, it is almost impossible to stop her. She will not hesitate to destroy your very existence should you cross her. Finally, Fiona feels honor-bound to her family but not to the O'Kearney name but rather to her loved ones—specifically her little sister and their late mother. She feels that she owes everything she has to her late mother, and she greatly cares for her little sister—both out of love and due to a promise she made on her mother's deathbed. If anything, Fiona is loyal, almost to a fault. [attr="class","infotitle"]History [attr="class","infobox"] Abandoned on the streets, Fiona never knew her biological parents. She does not know why her parents abandoned her nor does she know if it was intentional or forced, but most of all, she doesn't care. To her, they were not considered family; they were not the people whom she spent her childhood with, they were not the people who took care of her while she was ill, they will not the people who taught her right from wrong, they were not the people who raised her, they were not the people who gave Fiona her name. The only person she would consider a parent would be her adoptive mother, Maire O'Kearney, the former head of the O'Kearney family. The O'Kearney family had been a prominent family within Lune for many generations. However, within the main family no heirs were produced; Maire seemed infertile. So when she found a baby abandoned in the streets of Lune, she took it as a sign and, naming the infant Fiona, decided to raise the child as her own—despite protests from the rest of the O'Kearney family. Fiona's childhood was a bit of a troubled one. No one within the O'Kearney family accepted her, treating her as an outsider. To them, Fiona's very existence created two sins: the first was the absence of the O'Kearney blood within her veins; the second was her race, she wasn't human like the rest of them. The O'Kearneys were a human family, and one that once predominately believed in human superiority. The beast-man races were originally made to combat monsters, and while there were many who treated them with respect, many also discriminate against them. However, this wasn't to say they were all bigots, in fact, the bigotry mostly existed within the elder echelons of the family; the younger members are simply following their elders. Nonetheless, the young Fiona suffered discrimination from her adoptive family, even from her adoptive father who saw her as nothing but an abomination. The only one who supported Fiona during this delicate time was her mother, always there to encourage her or teach her right from wrong, the only one who understood her. Whenever Fiona was pushed too far her mother would always find her, always there to protect Fiona. In fact, it was her mother who taught Fiona to take pride in her ears and tail, to treasure the unique factors that made Fiona her own person; it can safely be said that if her mother did not step in, Fiona would likely be ashamed of the fluffy ears and tail that she now puts great pride in. As time passed on, Fiona overcame some of her family's bigotry, winning them over with both hard work and ability. While she did not have the O'Kearney blood in her veins, she definitely had the spirit. Still, roughly half of the family were still opposed to her. When Fiona was named as the next head, the very foundations of the O'Kearney family shook. Naming an outsider—someone who wasn't even human, let alone her lack of the O'Kearney blood—heir was something unheard of. However, Maire would not have any of it. She silenced them, point to Fiona's accomplishments, her success despite the obstacles set before her. Maire also pointed out that she knew that they discriminated against her daughter, reminding them that she explicitly commanded them to treat Fiona as if she was Maire's flesh and blood; that she had not forgotten the pain they brought upon her beloved daughter. She told them that Fiona was more of an O'Kearney than they would ever be, and that retribution would be swift and merciless should they touch even a single hair on Fiona's head. She further humiliated them when she told that the only reason why they were not expunged from the family was due to Fiona's insistence of forgiveness, that they owed Fiona their status and position. Her decision was final and any opposition was swiftly put down. All good things must come to an end however, some sooner than others. When Fiona was thirteen, her mother, Maire, was finally able to become pregnant. Many who were dissatisfied with Fiona's appointment as heir now looked to the unborn child as hope; while they dared not mention it, it was obvious that they hoped that Fiona would be replaced as heir. Maire knew this and was worried that Fiona would feel threatened by the child's existence. However, Fiona would dispel her mother's thoughts and stated that if her mother truly did feel that the newborn baby would make a better heir then Fiona would gladly give up her position as the next head of the O'Kearney family, without hesitation. Relieved and touched by Fiona's words, Maire could only respond that the unborn child has its work cut out for it if it wishes to replace Fiona as the heir. The two, mother and daughter, promised to work hard together, raising the baby—even coming up with names together. But some things are simply not meant to be; complications occurred as Maire was giving birth. As the delivery date approached, Maire suddenly found her body growing weaker for some unexplained reason. On the fateful day, her body couldn't handle the strain and Maire found herself on her deathbed. To make matters worse, the newborn was born frail and weak, barely alive, and Fiona's adoptive father committed suicide, both out of despair and belief that the O'Kearney family was doomed. As she laid before death's doors, Maire apologized with Fiona for being unable to keep their promise. Fiona shook her head, that even if her mother was gone, the fact that Maire raised her that the lessons she taught Fiona would be passed onto the newborn child, would fulfill their promise. With her last breath, Maire asked that Fiona would look after and protect her little sister, Grainne, just like how she looked after and protected Fiona. With hope in her eyes and a smile on her face, faithful that Fiona would not fail her, Maire died, her only regret being that she would not be able to watch her two daughters grow. However, there was something that did not make sense. Her mother was always strong and healthy; for her to suddenly grow ill as she was about to give birth, especially to the point where it was fatal to her, seemed too much of a coincidence—something just didn't add up. Just then, one of the servants discovered a vial of poison. Upon examining the food that was prepared for her mother, it had become apparent that she was poisoned. Secretly launching an investigation, Fiona discovered the perpetrators. They were the same people Fiona forgave as a child, the people she protected from her mother's wrath when she was named the O'Kearney heir. They repaid her by using their status and positions to kill her mother and leave her sister in a struggle of life and death. They had planned on using Graine as a puppet to usurp Fiona's position as the O'Kearney head. If only she didn't vouch for them, if only she didn't protect the trash, if only she didn't forgive them; her mother could be well and alive now, and Grainne wouldn't be struggling to live. They would have been a happy family. Something within Fiona snapped. As a child, Fiona showed forgiveness and was merciful towards those who wronged her. However, that Fiona was now dead, killed with her mother—by the very people she protected. What was left was a vengeful demon. To say they died in regret, agony, and despair would be an understatement. Fiona would not let them die easily, a swift death was too good for them. No, they had to curse as they died, curse their bigotry, curse their ungratefulness, curse their incompetence, curse themselves, and, most of all, they had to curse the forgiveness that Fiona showed them. They had to wish that they had been expelled from the O'Kearney family, that they never had the power to poison Maire. Every inch of their flesh was rent, then restored with healing magic only to be torn apart again. Even when they begged for the blissful release of death, Fiona would not permit it. Their torture went on and on until their minds were completely destroyed, to the point where describing them as insane would be incorrect. Simply put, their minds no longer existed. Fiona then showed their broken minds to the rest of O'Kearney family, as a glimpse of the future of those who oppose her, before killing them. In the end, Fiona found no solace or peace, she only found feelings of gratefulness and of regret. At the young age of fourteen, Fiona had succeeded her mother as head of the O'Kearney family. Five years has passed since then and—despite recent events, specifically the the blockage—the O'Kearney family has been prospering under Fiona's care and still holds the same amount of influence as it did under her mother's, if not more. Fiona is raising her little sister, Grainne, to the best of her ability, being there for her like their mother was for Fiona. At the same time, many, even the servants, say Fiona dotes on Grainne a bit too much. They also don't approve too much of Fiona's frequent association with members of other districts, however, given Fiona's track record, there isn't much they can say as her results support her methods. In fact, a strong portion of the family fully support Fiona, even if they aren't always so fond of her tactics. However, there is still unrest within the O'Kearney family, and factions that oppose Fiona's position as head still exist. However, they dare not reveal themselves, still wary of Fiona, the sight of Fiona's first victims still fresh in their mind. [attr="class","bigheader]Skills [attr="class","columnheader"]MAIN CLASS SKILLs [attr="class","columnheader"]SUB-CLASS CLASS SKILLs [attr="class","columnheader"]CRAFTING CLASS SKILLs [attr="class","column"] •Ambidexterity: Tier 1 Adventurer Skill. The mechanics of Elder Tale lightly discourage dual-wielding due to the reduced accuracy and proficiency with such a combat style. However, it remains a quite popular strategy among those who willingly sacrifice stability and defense for a little boost in DPS. It is such that Swashbucklers are primarily the class type that specializes in dual-wielding and thus has the most compatible skills for this purpose. The Ambidexterity skill passively lifts the dual-wielding penalty from equipping two one-handed weapons or two shields. This skill does nothing for a Swashbuckler, since they already possess a beginner skill which does the same purpose. •Spellwalk: Tier 1 Adventurer Skill. A toggle skill that allows a character to cast a spell without forcing them to remain immobile during the spell's casting duration. It is an excellent skill to take for those who prefer an on-the-go strategy or at least a less vulnerable position. When the character moves while casting a spell, their movement speed is halved. This speed penalty decreases to 40% at Level 30, 25% at Level 60, and 10% at Level 90. •Summoner's Whip: Tier 1 Summoner Skill. Whip skill. The Summoner cracks the whip in the air, making a loud sound that shoots out a red-colored shockwave. This skill is used by the Summoner to increase the attack speed and power of a Follower for a period of time. Contrary to some misconceptions, this skill does not require the Summoner to strike the follower with the whip - merely being in proximity is enough. In fact, striking the follower with the whip has a chance of causing the follower to lose respect with the Summoner. This skill has an animation time of 1 second, a duration of 15 seconds, and a cooldown of 20 seconds. •Summon Follower - Carbuncle: Tier 1 Summoner Skill. Beast-type Light elemental familiar. A beast-like summoning companion centered around a ruby core. Completely powerless in terms of physical attacks, but has the capability to shoot rays from the ruby core. Also has the ability to cut off barriers and heal the summoner or another target. Resembles a combination of a fox and rabit with a ruby on the forehead. Carbuncle's personality type is Friendly toward its Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon. •Summon Follower - Golem: Tier 1 Summoner Skill. Artificial/Rock-type Earth elemental familiar. Summons a large guardian composed of the surrounding material. If the material that the Summoner desires the Golem to be made out of is not around, they pay a higher price in mana to summon a golem of that type. Soil Golems are weaker in attack and health but are faster and regenerate quickly. Stone has decent attack, health, speed, and regeneration. Iron Golems are extremely strong in attack and health but lack speed and regenerative abilities. Its size starts at 1 meter, but grows an additional meter every 30 levels. Golem's personality type is Docile toward its Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon. •Guardian Fist: Tier 1 Summoner Skill. A physical attack for Followers of an artificial nature that deals a large amount of damage. It is known to crater the ground due to force. Guardian Fist is a noteworthy skill that the Summoner can command the Follower to use; its high generation of aggro makes it extremely likely that targets that originally aimed for the Summoner will redirect their attacks toward the Follower instead. Guardian Fist has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 7 seconds. •Phantasmal Heal: Tier 1 Summoner Skill. The Summoner commands the summoned Follower to recover mana or health for a specific target. While in use, an extremely bright shining star effect is initiated on the target. The target's HP or MP will heal instantly, making this skill a nice ability to have when there are no available clerics in the vicinity. Naturally, this skill can only be used with healing summons like Unicorn or Carbuncle. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 20 seconds. •Summon Follower - Harpy: Tier I Summoner Skill Bird-type Wind elemental familiar. Summons a creature that has the features of a bird and woman. She attacks targets with cutting blast of wind and sharp talons. She can also stun enemies by emitting an ear splitting shriek. This stun lasts for 3 seconds. Harpy’s personality is Friendly toward its Summoner and Predatory toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon. [attr="class","column"] •Allure: A toggle skill that can be used anytime in a conversation with People of the Land. It allows the Courtesan to smooth over any mistakes and retain the target's attention. Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels. •Knot of Leverage: The power of seduction is an especially powerful weapon, and any capable Courtesan knows how to manipulation these bonds to their advantage. Usable only on targets affected by Allure. A skill that connects the Courtesan to their target by a transparent red string of mana, Knot of Leverage restricts the target from dealing any damage to the Courtesan. Violation of this restriction results in the target taking minor damage and suffering a 3-second stun effect. After this skill is used, Allure's effect on the target is canceled and must be reapplied again in order to activate this skill on the same target. [attr="class","column"] •Needlework: Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly. •Emergency Suture: An experienced tailor will be able to make quick mending to clothes in the fraction of the time, although the material will definitely require a proper repair later on. Still, this skill is especially important when you need to fix up your gear during a battle or when you have an extremely vital fashion malfunction. Additionally, this skill allows a tailor to mend wounds and stop damage over time bleeding effects from skills such as Swashbuckler's Viper Raise. No damage is recovered, however. •Runway Model: The Tailor's fashion sense allows them to make clothing that complements a character's gear, making it seem stronger and more impressive. When the Tailor is participating in a thread and a character is wearing Vanity Clothing crafted by the Tailor, this skill may be used to buff an item for 1 hour. The buff may target themselves. The buff causes the item level of any cloth or leather armor worn by the target to increase by an amount equal to the Vanity Clothing's level / 10. Armor affected by this skill cannot have its item level raised past Level 90 by this effect. This skill has an animation time of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 1 minute. |
