The second day, and the second chance he was getting to become acquainted with the game of Elder Tale. He had plenty of background information, of course, but was severely lacking in the experience department. The fact he almost panicked against the first monster he defeated, a mere slime, was proof he had to get much needed training. Though before Xeno had mustered up the courage to leave Londinium, he had glanced over his skill set one last time. Ever since his first battle in the game he had attempted to burn his current skills into his mind. There was a strange gut feeling he had that he would not be getting anymore too soon. <Aura Kick>, <Bullet Punch>, <Iron Body>, those were the attacks Xeno had chosen to start out with. It was pretty solid in his opinion, but it didn't leave much of an impression. There were only three in quantity after all, not counting his subclass skills.
Ah, his subclasses. Brewer and Acrobat. To be completely honest, he was not exactly sure which to pick at first. None of them had appealed to him, or rather were what he had in mind. No. He didn't even consider the idea of more than one class if he were to be truthful. So, he winged it. It seemed to complement his main class, hopefully. He wasn't completely sure with his choices. Yes, he could only hope they wouldn't be useless to those who were monks. But, back to the matter at hand. There Xeno was in the large valley of Windsor Greatwood. The valley was in no way spectacular, considering it was a mere valley. But, he could see hints of monsters (or beasts being the correct term) scattered about. It put him on guard and made his muscles tense with anticipation. However, he had to remember. They were low level monsters. Usually, anything low level wouldn't attack on sight, right?
Xeno took in a deep, yet shaky breath as his eyes scanned the area. Slimes, boars, and rabbits. Those were all the animals he saw, luckily. It made sense to him since he was basically at the entrance of the valley. His light chocolate brown orbs landed on his target, or rather targets: level one and level two slimes. Of course, his class was a tank, it was obvious he had to get used to fighting a large amount of enemies. This would be the first step in that direction. Xeno steeled himself, as he found himself doing often already in this game, and prepared to strike. Wait, game? No, this was no game.
This was, for now, his new reality.
