Tagged: Open ▪ Word Count: 569 ▪ Notes: Lost ▪ Muse: Link Rolling out of bed, Faded proceeded on his usual routine, using the restroom, brushing his teeth, going to the kitchen, pulling out a couple pieces of bread to sit on a pair of plates, eating one, and leaving the other on the table in front of an empty chair. Munching on his piece of bread, he told the chair what he had planned for today, a trip to the market and then maybe he'd go out and try fishing even though he didn't have the skill for it just to test it out. It wasn't a lot, but he tended to improvise during his day. Stretching out in his chair, he let out a long yawn before standing up to push in his chair. Taking up his plate, he washed it in the sink, did a little dusting around the house, then headed for the door where he would be leaving. Right before he went out the door way, the Wolf Hair turned around to bow his head to the void chair, "I'll be right back dear, be safe." With that, he left the small broken house he took refuge in for the market.
Picking up various ingredients, Faded didn't take too long to shop, only going after some fresh bread and butter so that it wouldn't taste so bland. He was tired of eating the same thing, but hesitated on eating the bland food from the menu. He was use to doing the same things over and over, so preferably his habit of eating bread and butter was how he would go for the rest of the game, or his life, or whatever this one they were trapped in until who knows when. After he finished with the market, he went out to find a source of water to fish in, which was actually harder than he thought it would be. Faded ended up going into the forest, thinking the swamp just full of water that was too shallow and dirty to actually have any fish to catch in. Grabbing a sturdy stick from one of the abundant trees, he took a string from his inventory he had unraveled from one of his older looking cloths and tied it around one end. It wasn't hard, and he got it done quick enough while walking, but once he looked up again, Faded realized he had been wandering without any sort of direction even before he had started tying the string around the stick.
Heaving a sigh, he just continued on his way, wandering about the forest. It wasn't like he had anywhere to be today. Worst case scenario, he died and spawned back at the cathedral in town, which was what he needed to get back to anyway at the end of the day, so it was all fine. Looking up to the sky, Faded figured he still had half the day to wander about the forest before it got dark. It would still do him some good to at least try figuring out where he was, so he looked around for a tree to climb up. Finding one that looked sturdy enough, the man in full plate jumped and hugged the tree... but that was about as far as he got. Too heavy to climb up, he just sort of hung onto the tree, beetle like with his large shield acting like a shell on his back. "... whoops.."

do it like a brother, do it like a dude, Isabelle Windsor had always been a girl that loved to explore. If given the chance, she would run off and stay in the woods for a long period of time - in fact, she had distinctly fond memories of her and her older brother chasing around a motley of terrorized teenagers when they were younger, herding them like wolves would a stray sheep - and she didn't much care for anyone who would scold her for doing otherwise now that she was Cocktail. She still had the stupid two strips of rags in her hair to hold it up, the girl just not having had the chance to find anyone yet who would be able to give her something more sturdy to keep all that hair out of the way, but she supposed that it would have to do.
Today, however, was going to be a fun day. She had every intention of improving her fighting skills, and she had the two rapiers strapped to her hips to prove it. Hunting some boars might be fun, but that would probably involve finding someone else to party with simply because she was so... low-leveled. The very mention of the word, even inside her own head, made the girl scowl and stomp her foot to the ground petulantly. She wouldn't have been so weak if her stupid brother hadn't abandoned her after the Catastrophe! The other was here somewhere, she just knew it, it was only a matter of hunting him down, and then she had every intention of chewing him out for being such a jerk to not even look for her. Now that was a thought that had the young human perking up, a grin on her lips and a light song trilling from her tongue. She loved the lyrics to it, even if it was a little techno for the Unfounded Kingdom, but she didn't care one bit. Nope. Not one bit.
She was still singing when suddenly she paused, a strange sight catching her attention. There was a man hugging a tree as if it were his long-lost love. She frowned, cocking her head to one side, the long cyan hair drifting in a slight breeze. "You know, trees aren't going to love you just because you hug them," she stated casually, trying to pretend that her motive wasn't to startle him enough to cause the man - or at least, she thought it was a man, since the Catastrophe, you could never tell if someone who looked like a guy was actually a guy - to fall from the tree. "They're nasty, vicious, vindictive creatures who have no sympathy for others." She nodded sagely. "You'd probably have better luck threatening it."
Huffing, she tossed one of her pigtails behind her shoulder, lifting her head high with pride. She didn’t care if he was looking at her or not by this point. It was a matter of principle that she look good. She was Cocktail. "I'm Cocktail, Swashbuckler and Blacksmith extraordinaire! It wasn't a very difficult thing for him to do, he was only a few feet off the ground, but he didn't feel like letting go just so that he could fall down and hurt his bottom by landing on a root or something that would likely be under him. It left him with a dilemma, obviously. Without much to do besides hold on, he went through his short to do list for today, looking for something he might have forgotten to add to it. 'Go to the market... get some bread... head to the forest...' Nope, nothing to add except for get stuck in a tree. Sadly, it wasn't a very comfortable position either, he was strong, but the metal plate he wore made it hard on his muscles to keep himself attached tot he tree. Then, whether it be his lucky or unlucky day, he was startled from his thoughts by hearing someone else had wandered near.
Flinching just enough at the female voice, Faded's grip slipped on the tree and he fell downward, scraping at it with no luck. The descent wasn't as bad as he thought though, it was kind of slow and didn't really hurt since there wasn't a root or rock directly under him at all. For awhile he just listened to the voice that tried to convince him just how bad and unforgiving trees really were. Looking up at the mighty tree before him, he tried to picture it as the vicious creature she described, but came up with nothing. In his eyes, it was just a tall living creature that simply wanted to survive as much as he did. Though while he tried to see the strangers point of view, he guessed that he could kind of see it that they were feeding off of everything, the ground, the sun, even the air other living things discarded, and preferred to have their space since trees didn't grow well next to each other. Alright, he could see her side.
Brushing himself off, Faded stood and slowly turned around to face the stranger who had come up to find him in such a predicament just in time to see her flip her hair back. She was different, that was his first thought. The blue tinted hair wasn't something he saw every day, but it seemed to work well on her. The way she talked though, she seemed a little over confident in herself. Tilting his head to the side slightly, he kept getting a feeling like he knew someone that acted similar to her, but couldn't place it. Not thinking much on it, he nodded his head and bowed slightly to her, "Thank you... my name is Faded, it's a pleasure." A man of few words.

do it like a brother, do it like a dude, If she was a nicer person, she probably would have tried to hide the childish giggle that left her lips as she watched the man slide down the tree and hit the ground. Of course, Cocktail had never claimed to be a nice person, and as such, she made no attempt to conceal her mirth at the sight. That had been so worth it, even if it hadn't been quite as fun as when she used to be a child and would chase people around to terrorize them with her older brother back when she was still Isabelle Windsor instead of Cocktail. Humming to herself, she tapped her lip as she looked him up and down, taking her time to observe the white hair and the gray eyes that almost seemed to be without color at all. Interesting, and yet, at the same time, so boring. But then guys tended to bore her easily. She was just a mover and a shaker, someone who only paused to flirt with a cute girl, and as such, she ended up marching right on by the vast majority of people.
"Of course it's a pleasure," she stated, preening slightly under the statement, before she paused, lips twisting slightly with thought. "Hmm... Faded, huh?" She then pointed a finger at his equipment. "That's really weak stuff. I bet I could craft better if I tried." She grinned impishly. "I'm gonna get all my levels up, and then I'm gonna make myself some weapons and smack some things around so that I can show my stupid brother that I'm better than he is!" She laced her fingers together, bringing her palms up behind her head cheekily as she swished her hips. "Y'know, rather than spending your life trying to take down trees, you should come and fight with me. It's bound to be more fun that whatever the hell you were doing before, and besides, you'll get some money and drops out of it too!" She twirled around on her toes, the movement rather elegant with her rapiers lifting from her side and her hair twirling around her. "I mean, there's probably tons of Slimes around here somewhere, and they shouldn't be too hard to beat up between the two of us!" Cocking her hip out to the side, she placed on delicate hand on it, leaning over a little regardless of the fact that it left her slightly exposed. “So are you with me or what? Those Slimes won’t know what hit ‘em!” Reaching forward, she rapped on the metal of the great shield with two knuckles. “Tell you what, I’m feeling generous today, so when we’re back in London, I’ll even make you some better gear with what I know and what my brother taught me.” She straightened up proudly, pleased with herself for being able to finally one-up her elder sibling. “I’m way better than anything he gives me credit for, and if I keep working, I can probably even get better at this than he is, and that’ll show him for thinking that I can’t make it on my own!”
She hopped off the log she was standing on, landing on her feet and looking over her shoulder at him. She was always up for training alone, of course, but she’d much rather have the chance to show off for someone. Much more entertaining. | Words;; 563 Tags;; FadedAnd others Notes;; And she's decided to go try to start fighting things. Bl Brat.

Do you mind if I killed you; if I tried to? Another beautiful day for the girl; rather another beautiful day to burn something alive. The sorceress just wanted to see some boar squirming around as the ball of fire would smack into it's sides, and hungrily lick it to consume more hotly burning desires. For that however, she had to search these woods for said boars; hell even slimes would be a welcome sight right now, simply because it would be easy to just cast this lovely spell, and watch them burn alive once or twice. An almost manic giggle filled her, but she pushed it down. Malavain didn't want to be laughing all by herself in the woods, because some person would find her here .. and be a judgmental brat about the whole ordeal. The girl's lips curved into a smile, as she wandered in the woods, looking for.. well something to set afire! Although she hadn't seen one in a while now, letting out an irritated noise. The red haired girl let out a click of her tongue, annoyed at how this was going, when she heard a strange sound; it was a thump, as if something heavy had fell. It wasn't fair away, so the sorcerer decided to jauntily bounce over there, see if something would happen. After all, only the intrepid got to see situations, or say, pyromanically set things on fire. Not that Malavain was a pyromanic, but she had the urge to set things on fire simply as a stress relief. It was probably better then trying to kill people in a way. In any case, the red head arrived, seeing a.. pair of people. One of them looked more armored then the other, and she felt a grin touch her lips. Luckily for the Half-Alv, she had caught the tail end of the pig tailed girl's comments. ''Ohohohoho, you want to fight don't you~?'' called out the sorcerer, her tone mocking and yet honey sweet. Indeed, she had managed to hear a lot of the girl's preening, and figured that it needed to be knocked down an inch or two, as a nearly malicious smile covered her lips. The genius just held the staff in her hand, seemingly uncaring of the girl's preening attitude, as she lifted up her hand. ''How about instead of trying to vaunt yourself, you get that scrawny little hind of yours to an actual fight?'' she added. The words were venomous, and probably pride injuring. After all, Malavain didn't play nice with others; or rather, she played mean to make them tougher. It was just a little play that the girl did all by herself. Another smirk, and then she twirled her rod. ''I could set you aflame right this second.. but that'd be boring. If you want a fight that bad, then let's go find a pack of them, because I just have that itch too.'' she said, asserting herself perhaps to the detriment of the other. Did the mage class girl cared? Not a single bit; she just wanted to release some stress, and it would be either through fighting with these two, or just fighting against these two. The choices were quite simple and well, Malavain didn't have any complaints. After all, she got to release the pressure that had begun to build up again. Tagged: Open ▪ Word Count: 569 ▪ Notes: " For a worthy cause he would strip for the woman." *shot* lol, and welcome aboard ▪ Muse: Link Well, the girl was certainly... confident. Being forced onto a new server and a new character, of course his gear was crappy, but then again, Faded hadn't exactly gone out of his way to acquire better gear. He was just sort of wandering through the game at this point, he didn't care if he would be stuck here forever or if they would be returned back to their previous life, dimension, or whatever, there was no one waiting on him there. Such a positive attitude, totally. It was interesting to hear that the girl had come into the game with someone else though, her brother in fact. Being an only child, he didn't know much about sibling relationships other than what people told him. There seemed to be a pretty thick line between those who were close, loving siblings, and those who were still loving, but overly competitive with each other. It seemed like her relationship with her brother was the latter of the two. He nodded slightly, and would have agreed vocally, but the cocktail girl went on to insult him about how she had found him.
In truth, Faded only went out and fought when it was absolutely necessary. He wasn't too fond of violence or fighting without good enough reason such as needing money or items to survive. Yet more than that, he did have the weakness of wanting to protect everyone he could from as much harm as possible. He wasn't naive, he knew he couldn't protect everyone from everything. Raising an eyebrow at her exposing movements, he did look just because it happened, but only briefly, not showing too much interest in the freshly met girl. Feeling a rap tap tap on his back, the Wolf Hair took a step back, touching was not something he accepted easily from other woman, even if it was just his shield. Nodding as he kept a safe distance from her, Faded would agree to the offer to make him better equipment. Not just because he hoped it would stop her from rapping on his armor again, but he was helping her to achieve her goals. For a worthy cause he would strip for the woman.
''Ohohohoho, you want to fight don't you~?" The tone of the voice wasn't nearly as beautiful as the voice itself. Who knew that sound and words could be so contrast to one another. Turning to behold yet another arrival, Faded was beginning to realize that he should be more wary of the woods. Pretty young girls seemed to just pop up everywhere and out of no where. Holding up his hands, he probably did something that most other men were too terrified of doing. He got between the two feisty women at an equal distance.
Clearing his throat, the Faded took the shield from his back and drew his sword. "There's no need to slash and burn." Looking around, he pointed the sword toward a group of three Young Pittered Boars at level 1 and one larger, Pittered Boar at level six, "Will they satisfy you both?" There were a couple slimes in the distance, but weren't close to the boar family, they'd have to be dragged over if the two demanded a bigger group.

do it like a brother, do it like a dude, Most people probably would have backed down under such a taunt, but not Cocktail. No, she merely puffed herself up, grinning cockily. "And how about you get all that snark out and turn it towards actually fighting something, hmm?" she shot right back, rather used to learning how to verbally spar with someone; after all, her brother had hardly been an easy target, and while the words might have stung if they were coming from him, she didn't care what anyone else said or thought about her. Especially not someone who was just so... pathetic. The redhead was obviously a lot of talk, not to mention unable to appreciate the benefits of her behind. Hmphing, the Swashbuckler drew a couple of swords, lazily balancing one on her finger before letting it fall down to catch it, a grin on her face. "And so what if you could try to catch me on fire? I could stick a sword right through your pretty little chest before you could even finish your spell."
She pouted a little when the man got between them though she perked up at the sight of the enemies, grinning to herself. "Yeah, that'll do~" she chirped, tapping her lip. She then hmphed and shook her hips, tossing her hair behind her shoulder so that it was out of the way as she paused for a moment to send both of them a party request so that they could keep a better eye on each other, not that she was expecting to need the extra help. "And you two better keep up, because I'm not gonna stop just because you can't keep up with me!" She then crossed her blades as she ran forwards, shouting out "Mirage Dealer!" as she teleported forward right in front of one of the boars, her blade immediately moving to slice at the monster's snout, drawing an angry roar from it, but she merely grinned, spinning to the side and letting the tip of the sword scrape along the boar's side, opening it up and causing quite a bit of damage. That was one aggro'd. She decided to push her luck by using her other blade to smack the rump of the other boar, making it squeal and aggro on her as well. She'd grab the higher levels too, but considering that there was a Guardian among their number, she figured it would be better to let him fulfill his class requirement and pull aggro of the stronger monster. She could handle the second group, settling in a slight crouch, her center of gravity lower so that it would be a little harder to knock her right over even as she was intimately aware of the slow recharging of her skill. She wasn’t quite sure exactly what the mage was going to do, but that assumed that she actually cared too.
For once, she was rather glad that her brother had bothered to teach her how to use a sword before she’d gone into the Unfounded Kingdom, saying that even a basic understanding would help her learn how to craft a blade. As boring as it had been, she found that it was a good basis for her to learn how to fight, especially since her style would have to rely on being hard to hit since she didn’t have the bulk like he did to take hits. | Words;; 565 Tags;; FadedMalavainAnd others Notes;; Lyrics;; "Do it Like a Dude" by Jesse J Template by Kuroya |

To kill or not to kill, that was the question.
Oh, she could most certainly kill the boars. They were no threat to her. Lower enemies had become nothing more than a bump on the fox-tails journeys through the wilderness that made up the world they found them-selves in. Yet Okami was an experienced gamer, honed through years of spending time with siblings shuffling close to the t.v. with blankets over them. The sorcerer knew kill stealing when she saw it, and the woman wasn't about to take away experience from three low-leveled adventurers if she could help it.
No, the fox-tail would instead keep to her tree tops. She'd been experimenting with her new spells all day, most of all blink. it was a funny experience, suddenly disappearing from existence and rapidly appearing again in another location. Dizzying, she'd say, and disorientation could lead to death on the battlefield. So the fox-tail did what anyone else with phenomenal cosmic powers at their finger tips would do: she played. Blinking from tree top to tree top, the woman had found her-self displeased with how long the timer had been to her. Oh sure, it was shorter than some other spells timers, but this one's time was much more important! It wasn't a business spell, made for racking in the experience, it was a fun spell for doing fun things! Like being a wizard ninja in the trees. The alchemist would most definitely need to make something that could cut this spells cool down, oh yes.
So, sitting in her spot from the tree, tails swishing lazily under her, the fox-tail watched over the players, here just in case they might find them-selves on the verge of an early demise.

Do you mind if I killed you; if I tried to? Of course, the girl's rebuttals didn't even face Malavain, as the sorceress just let out a laugh at each comment, and didn't even bother replying. She didn't care about the vain girl's need to be all that; in fact, Malavain had little to no care for her type of persons. They more then likely only used their ego to put others down, and thus become more confident in a false ideal that lead them a path of regret. Malavain understood that well, after all, she had gotten into college early. But that didn't even matter, for she had been a victim until she began to fight fire with fire. Almost nearly literally too, as she had picked her first skill as something related to that. Of course, the male Guardian interrupted them, leaving the little Swashbuckler high and dry, but the intention of enemies coming forward... well that was much more appealing. Her lips split into a wider grin, as she tapped her staff on the ground, and then twirled it, showing off nearly fancily. But that wasn't just it; she had been casting her faithful spell, Orb of Lava. With a tap, she sent the ball off, flying through the air like a missile. The orb itself was beautifully bright, as the sorceress shivered in anticipation. The first problem at hand? Provide support for their swashbuckler, as her grin became even more malicious. The ball of fire smacked itself into the boar, singing it and setting it's fur on relative fire. That boar was the only that the other girl had heavily damaged already, so just one more hit would do it. The ball of fire wasn't done, as it raised itself, and shot at the unattended young boar, spending itself with a final smack into the monster's body. Luckily for Malavain, the cool down time for Orb of Lava was short, and easy to just spam out, as she was already making another ball, and sending it out into battle, this time circling around the Guardian as if intending to shield him. She wasn't stupid, by all means, as the younger boar came towards her; and with a smack of her staff, the sorceress kept the boar at bay, not letting it touch her body with a single one of it's little tusks or movements. Sure, her clothing kept getting caught and ripped, but tch, it was just her beginner clothing! She could get more in town, as she just hummed, dancing around the boar, and smacking it when her staff would actually swing. After all, it was really soon she could have another orb, as she let out a cackle at that point. Yes, she loved this spell for it's fast rate of use, as Malavain wasn't going to go easy on the use of said balls of directionable fire.. it was more then fun to manipulate these, and the sheer dexterity she showed was probably because she had been practicing using it, before going off in the wild. That was definitely a possibility, if not more. But the witch decided that may she should put more pressure on them, having seen slimes from afar.. maybe she should, just to make it a bigger party~ But who knew, she'd see after this boar that was chasing her was down, as she giggled to herself. Tagged: Open ▪ Notes: " For a worthy cause he would strip for the woman." *shot* lol, and welcome aboard ▪ Muse: Link ▪ Health: 70% The ladies were more than happy to stop their bickering in order to turn their attention to the boars instead. Part of Faded sighed happily at the solution, glad to be out of the danger zone and getting caught up in the middle of the squabble. The other part was questioning the girls, wondering just how blood thirsty they really were if they were both willing to give up an argument so abruptly in exchange to kill something. Well, either way, things had been resolved and as the tank of their makeshift group, he had a job to do.
Unfortunately, the other two were moving much faster than him. Faded didn't have the quick skills of the swashbuckler nor the easy movement of the sorceress in her cloth armor, his bulky plate making things a little difficult. It didn't help that this was his first team fight. The main thing on his mind was to either get rid of the monsters, or get them to aggro onto himself, but with only one spell in his arsenal he didn't have many options on how to do either of those. Getting in the game late however, it was clear the other two actually knew what they were doing, they even sort of worked together to kill one of the boars by the time he got there. Without a spell to draw all aggro around to him just yet, the Wolf Hair instead set his focus on the level six boar that got taunted over by attacking the smaller one in its group. It was running toward Cocktail, who initiated combat, but as Faded charged and rammed into it, the beast turned its attention on him.
He didn't hit it very hard though... at least he didn't think he did. As a protector, he wasn't meant to dish out a lot of damage, but for whatever reason the monster's hit points dropped by a small chunk, but impressive given it was five levels higher than himself. That was when he realized its fur got burnt as well. Right, the ball of lava. He hadn't even paid it any mind once he saw the caster send it over it hadn't hurt him, but now he realized just how much it could hurt the creatures. In fact, it was a little too strong.
Before he knew it, Faded lost aggro as quickly as he had gained it, the boar attracted to the more powerful attack of Malavain. He was having none of that though. Narrowing his eyes, he growled lightly as the fur on his tail bristled, eyes flashing a bright yellow as he entered combat as his race's does. Bringing a foot up, Faded slammed it right back down on the ground, activating Heavy Anchor to lock the stronger monster into place right beside him. While it would keep the monster on him, the downside was that he couldn't move from his spot either now as long as it was active so he couldn't move to help the other two. They seemed to be doing well though against their lower level monsters, so he didn't worry too much about it, besides, he had bigger problems. Literally.
Raising up his shield, Faded blocked a large portion of the boar's first attack when it turned back toward the nearest thing it could attack while locked down, but his health still dropped by a larger amount than he was use to- about 10%. It probably wouldn't be seen as that much by other players, but he was a tank and use to weaker monsters only doing a handful of damage points per hit. The fact that the monster did that much to him through his shield... was worrisome to him to say the least. He wouldn't let it off the spell that held it down though, refusing to take the chance that it would charge after the other two while they fought the smaller boars. He reached around to smack it with his sword when he could, but was mainly biding his time for the other two to finish off their monsters before he would let it go, taking blows at the cost of health as he held it down.
