The Festival of the Chinese New Years was something Rei had wanted to experience for himself, being of Japanese descent never really allowed him to actually take part in it except for the one time his family went to China to see some in laws. To date Rei had not only learned a lot about this world and its way of life, but also finding himself and new friends along the way. Today he would finally indulge himself in another's culture and have some fun while doing it, although he had thought about inviting Kris and the others but due to not...well remembering to even ask them were they busy during this time he was here alone. The young wolf hair male had spent a large sum of his money that he had earned fighting monsters and other various things to get a very nice outfit for the event tonight, even a pair of shoes to cover them.
Tonight he would had decided to wear the white Yukata which the bottom set were alot like it, although for shoes he had just decided to wear some of the very same sandals he had worn around his home...well back when he was at home to begin with. Starting at the entrance of the vast area one could see the collection of lights, smell the various aroma's of the vendor's food had graced his eyes and nose as he began to walk around and look in amazement. For only this moment however he would be observing the world through both of his eyes, the covering that housed his left had been removed to show another light brown eye. The first stall he had stopped at had what looked to be pork buns, but were made in a different way and the smell of them had been something that had made his mouth water," Can i have one of those please, i have the money to pay for them as well," he had a great big smile on his face as he exchanged the money for three pork buns happily as he walked off and bit into one of them, he had finally or somewhat gotten the hang of the food here.
As he continued to walk through the busy streets and take the sites of the stalls, he would come to a single bench and sit down for a moment before his eyes took to the sky. It felt weird looking through both of the eyes and even weirder looking through eyes that did not require the use of glasses. It gave him a small hint of happiness to finally be able to see clearly, but as of today he did not have a need for the eye covering and was better off without it. The sights were so beautiful from the angle he was currently sitting from, the beautiful colors of the lights and even the interesting clothing many people had been wearing to here, it had all stood out so much that it made him almost bust out in a laughter of happiness. For the moment however he would sit there and continue to eat his pork buns while relaxing and enjoying the music in the distance.
