To say that she was completely unaware of what was going on around her would be a little far fetched. Taking in the decorations that was coming into view and seeing the increase in activity around this particular area already ping a few ideas in her head. Continuing to walk her eyes took in stalls that sold food product, trinkets, and other things that would catch one's eye. " A festival? " The words slipped from her lips as a flyer stuck to one of the food stalls caught her eye, confirming one of her thoughts on the what was going on. Now that she had gotten her answer the Fox Tail who went by the name Lady Lucifer looked over the flyer once more for further details on the events and activities, pocketing it into her kimono once she was satisfied with the information. " Well since I'm here I suppose I can enjoy myself with this little distraction.... " The meaning of the festival in her eyes was quite clear and didn't need to be explained. There was no real legit reason to have one Though it was the Chinese new year festival and maybe it held some type of rewards, the only reason that Lady Lucifer could think of was to distract the people from the recent event that took London by storm, and most possibly left the people dumbfounded.... The Catastrophe.
A small smile began to play on her lips as she took notice of the food product the stall was selling. Her mind went back to the day she herself got sucked into the game. It was fairly recent and though she was not the least bit phased, a lot of others were distraught, confused, and scared. Though she herself could understand why she didn't share their feelings and rather enjoyed this, maybe a bit more than she should. Though she knew no hardships back at home and she had enough adventures with all the moving and traveling her family did, she knew she could never experience life like this in the real world. After a short while of thought and looking over the product her eyes finally met with those of the being running the stall. It was a woman, tall and slim with high cheek bones and teal hair, her eyes were a pink color and her skin pale with pink undertones. She was a pretty female who looked to be Human, but as soon as she opened her mouth to Speak it was clear that she was not. " Hello and Welcome to my stall, My name is Meredith . I sell the freshest fruits and vegetables. I also have a nice selection of freshly caught fish. " As she spoke Lady Lucifer's eyes honed in on her tongue, taking not of the emblem that could see between her words as she spoke. " Half-Alv, I rarely see those around.." In Lady Lucifer's case this was a true fact her encounter with the Half-Alv's were few though interesting.
" Oh I'm just browsing around right now thank you. But I may be back in a few for some fish and those yummy looking cranberries. Smiling her mischievous smile she sauntered away swishing her tail in a rhythmic movement that matched the slight switch in her hip. With all the things going on here she was sure to get into some type of fun, though it was still early and the real fun didn't begin till during and after the dinner. Lady Lucifer just kept her smile nodding her head in acknowledgment to those she walked by and stopping here and there to the food stalls and other areas of interest. Like a kid in a candy shop she moved from stall to stall and even allowed herself to play some games. She was enjoying herself quite a bit but soon she felt the need for a bit of companionship. " This would be much more enjoyable if I didn't have to go at it alone. Though with all these people I'm sure someone will join me. " Within the hour the festivities were increasing and so were the people, Lady Lucifer had been eating and drinking a number of things and yet no companion. Sitting on a bench she indulged in a rice ball stuffed with Salmon. " I suppose if I find no one to pal around with then this wonderfully tasty food can keep me company.

After everyone on the new server was taken and trapped into the game, Tobias had some shifts to go through to say the least. Upon finding out that he could commit suicide or even be killed like how he wanted after his sister died, he'd gained a renewed value for life and now that his freedom was mostly taken away in this new situation it made him want to survive and be free all the more. That being said his will to live and zest for life had not fully returned yet so he had to find some sort of purpose where he could. For now he dove into work to try and get stronger and better at the classes he had chosen at the start of the game.
He had already worked on his blacksmithing abilities, all that was left to try out were his occupation as a courier and his fighting style as a swashbuckler. He wasn't about to go starting fights in town and he wasn't too confident in straying that far yet so that left him as a courier. Luckily with the festival coming up the congregation of celebrating players made it a bit safer to travel the roads and the festival needed a ton of supplies for decorations, foods and crafts. He made use of his large inventory to gather up on things people wanted to get to the festival square at the station from the old parliament building.
He'd already delivered the decorations which needed to be set out first so they could bet set up before the festivities began. He then stopped by the crafting and merchant section to drop off raw materials so that the crafters had enough time to make them into trinkets to be bought and sold at the festival proper. Last was the food, the odd part was that though his instructions were to deliver the decorations and materials first, the festival foodstuffs had a special timer for this assignment to make sure they were still fresh by the time they were cooked into the treats that would be enjoyed during the festivities.
What that boiled down to was Tobias was in a hurry. His time limit was fairly generous but every second that counted down filled him with dread that he wouldn't be able to find the food stalls on time. What was more was that he'd had to leave the parliament building early this morning to make sure the decorations arrived on time to get set up before anyone got there, so he hadn't had breakfast. So now he was stuck carrying tons of food in his inventory on an empty stomach. That salmon fillet in his uppermost slot was particularly teasing him. As a wolf hair people expected him to have more of a taste for beef but he always quite liked fish as well.
He rushed through the busy streets, moving as fast as his feet and ravenous stomach would carry him. As he ran he tripped over his own feet and nearly planted head-first into the cleavage of a poor Lander that was carrying a vase of water to one of the stalls. "S-Sorry ma'am!" He shouted out, face red as he continued on his way. The food stalls couldn't be far now and he still had a couple minutes left on the food items before they turned not-so fresh.
He finally spotted the stall at which he was to deliver the food, his fanged teeth curving into a beaming smile. He ran over to them, nearly causing a three person pile-up as he did and tripping again as he went, panting when he finally got there. "C-Courier delivery complete..." He groaned as he unloaded his inventory onto the Lander. He smiled, collecting his pay for the delivery and looking around. Now that he had finished his work, he could enjoy the festival as one of the patrons.
The first thing he would do was get some food, but where? The stall he had just delivered to obviously hadn't finished making their food yet, and after seeing that salmon fillet he kind of wanted some. He went over to another nearby stall only to find the had sold out of their salmon riceballs, causing the boy to pout a bit. He looked around again, spotting a rather strikingly beautiful woman with a rather delicious-looking salmon ball in her hand. Against his better instincts his wolf hair body began to pant like a dog as he stared, his long flat tongue hanging out as his brown dog ears perked up. He wasn't sure if it was a response to finding the woman attractive or whether he was just that hungry but he quickly realized he was staring and corrected himself.
"S-Sorry ma'am... it's a dog thing... haven't quite gotten used to that well enough yet to be able to control it." He rubbed the back of his head nervously, eyes widening as he heard his stomach growl as well, still hoping he hadn't offended her.

Licking her lips she had not begun to indulge in the tasting of the succulent snack in her dainty hand. It really looked too good to eat but that was not the reason for her not devouring the healthy sized ball of rice stuffed with salmon. Her ears perked up and she felt an all too familiar feeling, the feeling of being watched. Though this feeling was not particularly unknown to Lady Lucifer because of her gorgeous physique and stunning looks, she got the feeling her watcher was closer than most and it made her shudder. Looking around her eyes seem to instantly look into come upon a male who seem to be panting in her direction. Blinking quietly she couldn't get a word out before he was apologizing and explaining his lack of control over his new race. Chuckling she was taken back to her first time in her new body, she couldn't keep her hands off of herself let alone control certain * ahem * actions. Getting a good look at the lad she could tell he was of Wolf Hair before he could even speak of it. The Wolf Hair's and well most of every race had very noticeable differences so it was fairly easy to tell them apart once you met them.
" It's alright no need to apologize, you've done nothing wrong." Smiling she could hear his stomach grumble and looked from him to her rice ball. A warming smile played on Lady Lucifer's face as she realized that she could make a friend or at least a companion for the festival. Holding out her hand with the salmon rice ball inside she patted the seat next to her, a clear invitation " I'm Lady Lucifer, or rather that is the name I have chosen to go by in this world. Please help yourself to this rice ball, it's stuffed with salmon. I've already eaten quite alot so I have no qualms about sharing with those in need. And with the way you're stomach growled just now I know this'll help a bit. " Her sunset colored eyes stared into his as she hoped he would accept the offering and join her on this fine day. At this point in the game Lady Lucifer had not made a true friend yet and know knew that this festival could be a lot more than just a distraction. Though she never had gotten the chance to celebrate the Chinese new year in the real world she was satisfied with her first time being here. Making a new friend in a world without rules and magic could be fairly helpful, and as she looked into the eyes of the Wolf Hair male she wondered about his life and how he was coping with all of this.

Tobias blushed a bit, still feeling quite awkward at having been caught staring and then having his own stomach out him like that embarrassingly. He felt especially bad about acting so awkwardly in front of such a pretty lady. That being said he was somewhat used to it at this point, he never really knew how to act around pretty girls. This problem was only compounded by his new animalistic traits which he was still getting used to. However some of it did seem to fit him as more than one of his friends in the real world compared him to a loyal little puppy.
He smiled softly however when she said it was alright, happy that she seemed okay with it all and even more so that he hadn't offended her in any way. He couldn't help stealing a glance at the striking woman again and blushing softly. He had always been this way with many types of girls, quiet and nervous. Though in the end he still got along better with them than he did with boys. He shifted nervously for a moment, though her smile eased his worries he was still quite a bit unsure about what to do.
He looked up from hanging his head to see her holding out the riceball and patting the spot next to her. His blush deepened further, was such a beautiful woman really inviting him to spend time with her? He shifted a bit, still blushing and carefully reached out and took the riceball she was offering. It smelled of salmon, just what he had been craving. He then slowly inched a bit closer, glancing at her like a timid deer before sitting down beside her, making sure to give her a decent-sized gap for her personal space but not sit so far as to deny her invitation and risk offending her.
"N-Nice to meet you Ms. Lucifier." He took a bite of the riceball and gave a soft satisfied sigh. He hadn't had a proper meal since he joined, nothing but the bland generated food. He'd heard chefs had made some advancement in taste since then but didn't know any thus far so this was his first taste of the delicious food. Before he knew it the riceball was gone and his stomach did indeed feel somewhat better. "T-Thank you ma'am. You're very kind." He smiled up at her from his spot on the bench.
"I-I'm To-... I mean DJMcloud I suppose..." He never really had gotten used to his in-game name, he had chosen it on a whim, not planning to be in the game long before logging out to do the deed so to speak. He realized he was being rather quiet and tried to think of something to say. "U-Ummm... are you enjoying the festival?" He hadn't gotten a chance to see much of it yet with his deliveries and such but it seemed to be shaping up nicely.
