Another day, another craft -- well, not so mundane, considering what she had in mind. Since having freed her previous animal servants and companions a while ago, the woman had to find suitable replacements, preferably near her level. Of those, the Crystal Reindeer and Snowfield Bears seemed the most promising. The reindeer could not only act as a means of transport, but decent protection against any player killers or roguish monsters that prowled the roads. The bear, on the other hand, could act as a tank or a form off offense, depending on what role she needed that day. Neither could take Fiver's place as a cuddly lap animal, however.
With a small sigh, heavy with reminiscing, Capsule rolled up her sleeves and stood up to get to work. She had to make a Repel Essence, to deter the Malicious Snowmen that were known to prowl the snowy landscape of Snowdonia. The snowmen were one of the few beasts she'd crossed off of her list of possible monsters to tame. Snowmen well… they melted when they weren't kept in cool places. That enough made her wary of going through the trouble to tame one, no matter what video game logic might say.
A small packet of herbs was emptied onto her table. Normally she would have used a cutting board, but the table was shoddy and already nicked and stained in places. It's not like she ever had guests, anyway. Somewhere outside, her stubborn owl friend, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, hooted. The owl was relentless in keeping her as a master, it seemed, though that was likely due to it being a plain animal, and not a monster with a greater agenda. That was all fine and well with Capsule; Duke sometimes brought her orders and the like, though he did not always return for days at a time.
Her fingers moved with methodical grace, the blade of her knife slicing through the plant matter with an unmistakable ease. Capsule marveled at her new body as she worked. Immediately after waking the morning following her draught of the potion, most of her examination lied in the heaviness of her bosom, her curvier figure, and the "legs that won't quit," as some men were known to say. Her hair was also another curiosity, and nearly an hour alone was devoted to playing around with it.
Today, however, her observations lied on the long, slender fingers she had acquired, attractively shaped and unmarred by previous scars. For the first time in her life, she could honestly say that her hands were pretty, despite the fact that they did not actually belong to her. The compulsion to kiss her hands and then her fingers was strong, but she did not give in to it.
Irrevocably caught up in her own allure, Capsule grasped the pestle with her hand, gasping softly at the form and heft of it in her palm. Objects felt so strange to the touch now, almost as if she were experiencing them for the first time. Even grinding up the bits of herbs was a lovely sensation. Her palms tickled and slightly hummed as she rolled the pestle around the sides of the mortar, eliciting a soft chuckle from her delicate throat. Even the powder at her fingertips brought forth a tingling sensation. What other wonders did this body possess?
