So i did some reading up on class spell details etc:
I learned some spells are earned by standard by leveling up, some are gained through masterys and some are rare drops etc in forms of scrolls etc.
So i was thinking, it would require more help of course to do all of this, but what if we used the spells that are on now as standard spells that are gained by level:
We could then write masterys so for example a Sorcerer (yea i do a lot of reading into my class):
Earth: with sub-branches into Decay and Rock
Fire: sub's Manipulation of fire, Pure fire
Storm: sub's Wind and Electricity/Lightning
Water: sub's Ice and Tidal
each mastery section has some standards and then branches off into its own section, so you could even do for example, Fire Column would be fire manipulation.
Freeze: Ice power freezes area around you anything moving on it may slip
Earth: Pitfall, collapses ground beneath enemy dropping them into a hole
Storm: Lightning: Arc: bounces a arc of lightning across multipul foes
