Appearance (Visual aids are always helpful, this depiction is a bit tall and obvious a high level due to the tails, but gives a good at glance example as well as overall style i14.photobucket.com/albums/a308/Clow_/Naruto%20Fox%20Avvie%204%20100x100_zpswcnruscp.png ) He has rather messy, slightly spiky blond hair. He has rather sharp, expressive blue eyes, making him easier to read than he would like. His new appendages also do him few favors when it comes to hiding his mood. His large red vulpine ears perk and fold often without his consent, and his fluffy tail will often frizz up and wag with little effort. These appendages may be odd, but Clow has grown rather accustomed, having decent control, even if they need little prompting. It should also be noted the tail has a white tip, as does the floof in and around his inner ears. With his sharp teeth and whisker markings he gives off a strong vibe of mischief, whether it’s his intent or not. Clothing wise he usually enjoys cloth robes or coats. Considering his appearance he doesn’t mind attire of a tradition Japanese nature, as they look fitting for him. He also has a liking for cloaks, but tends to lean more for extra long scarfs these days, it irritates his tail less. Unless the gear is necessary, or has great stats he does prefer to go barefoot. In the real world he was a tall (A bit over six foot), lanky, glasses wearing red head. Due to this, even after time to adjust, he’s still rather clumsy, and his tail will make frantic movements at times as he tries to keep his balance. He finds it easier to move with long strides and active arm movements, but will often correct himself if his notices, fearing he appears too juvenile. | Personality While it’s not the way he thought it would be, Clow was very much the type of person that hoped to get a lot out of the Elder Tales. Early in his childhood, he moved away from a rather ideal life, to a more rural, secluded area. He dealt with many bouts of loneliness, before outlets like the internet could serve as social interaction. This made him someone who is still by all accounts a bit shy, rather out going. He has a love of conversation, and is willing to talk to just about anyone but it’s not uncommon for him to feel self conscious mid conversation, and start to get flustered, even with people he’s become close too. Once he’s become good friends with someone it’s not uncommon for him to view them as family. Clow never had massively close ties with his own real relatives, and grew up an only child on top of this. He can seem overly eager at time to substitute these bonds, which may become a bit overbearing, but he at least has the best intentions at heart. He’s also often a mediator, usually wanting to negotiate, as well as not wanting to take a strong stance on many divisive issues. Though not quick to anger, he can be highly defensive, especially with loved ones. He’s far easier to embarrass rather than anger, he tries to stay composed, but has a good few weak spots that can be exploited. He can be a bit overly sensitive, but he’s is also empathetic to most. He also has a tendency to be neurotic and over think. Like many people who joined Elder Tales, he created his character to fulfill a role. Namely to not only bring him back to his early days of RPGs, but to fit the trope of kid spell caster, as well as monster trainer. And though Clow considers himself to be rather mature and intelligent, he often feels conflicted. He rather enjoys letting loose and just going with the flow, perhaps even being a bit wild. He isn’t really sure whether to be angry, embarrassed, or flattered due to how many may perceive him. Giving into his more childish, wild, and care free side does quiet his neurosis however. Along with this, though he’s not really a fool, he can be rather naïve, and trusting. His tendency to be easygoing, as well as his sheltered life style also leaves him a little impressionable. He’s also quite opportunistic, as well as frugal, even a smig greedy; though he can still be quite generous to those he cares about. He’s not sure he would have made his character the exact same way, if he knew what was to come of it; but his class certainly suits him, even being the type to dote on his summons. He’s even admitted to day dreaming on the notion of turning many of the monsters of this world into pets. |
Extra
He has a tendency to squint and rubs his eyes often. He wore glasses in the real world, but only needed them in his teen years. Thus he didn’t design them into his character, and though he no longer needs them in his new body, it still feels odd.
If given the choice, he prefers to wield weapons with his right hand, and cast spells with his left.
Being Scottish by birth, he does have an accent, though it isn’t overly thick, it is distinct from most English accents.
Though he choose chef as his crafting subclass, and though he does have a certain passion for food, he never actually learned to cook in the real world, so though he has the ability to make great tasting food in this world, he still needs to learn the basic skills. He also hopes to not only cook wonderfully tasting food for himself, and those close to him, but also to be able to serve up tasty baits to improve his Animal Trainer Subclass.

Biography
Alastair is a Scottish born boy who’s lived a rather sheltered life. It all started well enough, a nice private school, a good many friends, he was a pretty happy boy. But around the age of seven, change reared its ugly head, as it has a tendency to do. His father’s business fell through, and caused them to relocate to a more rural, countryside location. The family wasn’t quite as well off, but they were still living comfortably. Although a private school was now out of reach, both physically and monetarily. His parents felt that homeschooling would be the next best option. And though he was taught rather well, it did lead to a life of seclusion for many years.
For the majority of his childhood he pulled inward, he still had a few friends in his new area. But looking back, he wasn’t sure if they were really good companions, or if they were simply all he had. He tended to play video games in his free time; a particular portable monster collection game introduced him to RPGs. Though he rarely got to enjoy the trading aspect, he was rather enamored with the tactics, and felt rather close to the pixilated creatures in his charge.
As he aged, Alastair stayed rather studious, but with the advent of the internet lead to the young Scott to at least obtain a new social outlet. With his somewhat bookish nature, and love of games, it didn’t take long for him to really delve into “Geek Culture.” It didn’t do much for his social life in reality, but he was happier if nothing else, becoming far more chipper and upbeat as time went on.
As the years passed, he focused on his education, taking a psychology major, aiming to be a therapist, or perhaps some type of councilor. It was going rather well, but as his latest semester ended, he was feeling burned out. With some free time on the horizon, it was the perfect happenstance for Elder Tale’s to releases a new, semi local server. Alastair hadn’t played an MMO in years, and ET’s style, structure, and artistic direction really appealed to him. He had a character in mind, something relatable, yet different. He wasn’t sure if he would go as far as to roleplay, but he was certainly hoping to reconnect with his nostalgic love of games. It was then that everything changed.
Clow was suddenly in a body that was extremely alien to him, and he wasn’t really sure how to feel about it. His short stature and youthful appearance wasn’t… bad per say, but it often left him conflicted. Though he was actually rather enjoyed his new large pointed ears, and extremely fluffy tail. He wasn’t really sure if this new lease on life would the chance to reinvent himself, or if he really even wanted too. But his new viewpoint aside, he started adjusting rather well. His internet handle, Clow, had felt as natural as his real name for many years now, and though this new reality was a complicated beyond his comprehension, he certainly wasn’t just going to mope around. Improving his skills and leveling up would open more doors for him, add new possibilities, he was already setting goals for himself. He had to admit, he really wanted to make one of those crazy brier weasel’s into a pet.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Summoner
Summon Follower - Sylph: Fairy-type Wind elemental follower. Sylph is a small fairy-like creature that looks like a jolly girl. She is able to attack with a magical wind that knocks back enemies. She can summon a healing breeze that heals allies for a minor amount and removes a debuff. She is Friendly to her Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon.
Summon Follower - Salamander: Reptile-type Fire elemental follower. Summons forth a reptilian spirit cloaked in a burning aura. Damages targets with burning fangs, claws, and a magic fire breath attack. It requires a source of ignition to be summoned at its full power, common sources include camp/cooking fires and even torches. Otherwise, it is summoned at roughly half of its power. Salamander's personality type is Docile toward its Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon.
Summoner's Whip: Whip skill. The Summoner cracks the whip in the air, making a loud sound that shoots out a red-colored shockwave. This skill is used by the Summoner to increase the attack speed and power of a Follower for a period of time. Contrary to some misconceptions, this skill does not require the Summoner to strike the follower with the whip - merely being in proximity is enough. In fact, striking the follower with the whip has a chance of causing the follower to lose respect with the Summoner. This skill has an animation time of 1 second, a duration of 15 seconds, and a cooldown of 20 seconds.

Roleplay Class: Animal Trainer
Scout: The Animal Trainer attempts to recruit a monster to their cause in order to create a temporary partner. This is often done by approaching the monster without startling or aggravating it. If performed successfully, a tamed monster will fight by the Trainer's side for a few minutes before control is lost and the monster returns to the environment. Certain situations might make this duration last longer or shorter; acts of kindness toward the tamed monster will make it stick around for longer, while excessive demand will make the Trainer quickly lose favor with the monster. Only one monster can be tamed at a time at the early levels.
Crafting Class: Chef
Iron Stomach: Not even food poisoning can stop a dedicated chef! This skill can be toggled, allowing chefs to become immune to status debuffs caused by drinks and food. They also passively recover from sickness status effects twice as quickly.
