He has well-defined, strong features that give him an imposing appearance. He has pointed ears like many other elves. His nose is sharp, and slightly upturned. His lips are thin and pursed most of the time. His eyes are a vibrant shade of crimson that brings blood to mind. Due to his darker features, they stand out nicely. They are framed by a set of angled, black brows and thick lashes. Moryarus has a chin-length mane of thick, white hair that lays about messily, but it looks styled. White is the dominant color of his ensemble. If one were to glance at Moryarus, they would think he'd be a Guardian. Instead, he is Cleric. He wears a combination of cloth and pieces of plate mail, but his armor is classified as plate armor. He wears chainmail under his outer layer of clothing and thick wool clothes under that. His upper body is covered in a white tunic that splits down the side. There are golden symbols over the front and it's lined with red. The tunic is cinched at the waist with a brown belt with silver clasps. He has a bit of chainmail around his neck that functions as a shawl. He has on a pair of leather, brown pants and a top under the tunic of similar material. The plate armor that he wears is ornately designed and polished well. It consists of a pair of pauldrons, gauntlets, greaves and other smaller bits like counters. [attr="class","infotitle"]Personality [attr="class","infobox"] Moryarus is a kind and gentle man despite his stern expression. He often has a positive outlook in situations. He is a skilled communicator, able to tailor his message to whomever it is for. However, he loathes mundane conversation topics and finds them the equivalent of getting a root canal. Complimenting his communication skills are his talents for listening and observation. This allows him to swiftly notice the emotions and intentions of others. Despite his capabilities, he tends to keep to himself because he finds social situations taxing. If he does mingle, it is with those he knows well or to be polite to people who approach him. Even though he finds other individuals interesting, he is quieter when dealing with strangers as he is a private person and is trying to get a read on them. Once he feels that he can trust someone, he becomes warm in disposition. Being trapped in a game where he doesn't know anyone is proving to be a challenge. If he has to work with another person, he gets on with it. Moryarus has many interests, most of them in the arts and humanities. He likes to write and paint. He's a curious man who’s fascinated by the myths and mysteries of the world. He can often be found indulging one of his pursuits. His mind often picks up on information others don’t notice, connecting dots and patterns to come to a conclusion that may not have been considered. He typically relies on his intuition to make decisions, but logic is not foreign to him. Moryarus has a set of moral principles that he strives to live by. At times, he imposes these on others. His intentions are pure when he does this, as he just wants to establish harmony. He is compassionate and feels emotions deeply, even if he will not always display them. This causes him to be dragged into ordeals that he feels a connection to, especially when there are people involved. He cares about the welfare of others very much. He is not one to hold his tongue if he feels threatened or if someone he cares about is threatened. If he has an opinion to share, he has no qualms with doing so. His emotions show more often when he is around people he's comfortable with. [attr="class","infotitle"]History [attr="class","infobox"] Ethan was born into a lower class family. He faced many struggles growing up. He was the only child that his parents had. His father worked full time as a construction worker and his mother was a secretary. Ethan didn't ever feel like he was poor as he had everything that he needed, but he was aware of the reality of the situation. His father suffered from an injury at work which made bills difficult to pay. When Ethan was old enough to get a job, he did so. He maintained solid grades, extracurricular activities, and a job. Yet, he never complained, because he realized that he was responsible for helping out. He wanted to be a psychologist, but it was difficult for him to scrape together enough money to pay for college. Scholarships only provided so much. He instead decided to do volunteer work after graduating high school. He found that he enjoyed it a great deal, but he felt like he wasn't able to make as big an impact as he could be. This lead to increased anxiety. He began seeing a therapist in order to work through his anxiety. It was recommended that he find some hobbies to occupy him from time to time. He played video games, trading card games, and tabletop games when he could. These helped. He enrolled into college to study psychology soon after. He often found himself fascinated by mythology and supernatural events. He studied these topics a lot. It wouldn't be too far-fetched to say that he believes some parts of them to be true. His friend, Christopher-Paul Garth, suggested he join Elder Tale, a game that he had been playing with a few of his other friends. They needed a new healer since their old healer stopped playing the game, because his grades were declining. Ethan figured it would be a good idea. He booted up the game and designed his character. He wanted familiarize himself with the game before Christopher-Paul joined, so he logged in ahead of schedule. Shortly after, the Catastrophe struck. Ethan immediately began panicking after finding himself unable to log out, but he was able to coach himself through the situation. Unaware of how long he would be stuck here, nor if the consequences of this world were dire, he decided to remain in the city. As time passed, he collected more and more information about the world that he now resided in and developed a deeper knowledge of its mechanics. This spurred him to want to explore and improve it. He wasn't sure what awaited him outside the city, but he was going to head out anyway. He figured that there were others out there who were in needed of help and guidance like he was, so he felt responsible to find out what lay in the wilderness and share his knowledge with others. Possession of an equipment mastery skill negates this penalty for that specified weapon type. Generally, there are reasons behind why certain classes focus on certain weapon types. Taking this skill provides some level of versatility, but be warned that some of your main class skills might prove incompatible with this new fighting style. If the character's class is already able to use one of these weapon types normally, that weapon type does not gain any additional effects through taking this skill. -Reactive Heal (Tier 1): The Cleric's starting restorative skill and regarded as the Cleric's signature skill. Unlike Heal that immediately restores hit points at once, Reactive Heal requires the target to receive damage to trigger this skill's effect. Reactive Heal's effectiveness in combat relies on the caster's level and the level of the skill itself, but it does not require the Cleric to focus on a single ally like in Heal, allowing the "Heal Walk" tactic to be employed. When activated, the ally becomes wrapped with a warm orange light as a visual effect. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 15 seconds. -Cure (Tier 1): A basic cure magic that removes negative status effects from a single ally. It consumes little MP and has the ability to remove negative status effects regardless of type, but higher skill ranks allow shorter casting times for this skill. Its effect is a pale blue light similar to that of Heal. The effectiveness of its cure effect may vary based on the level of the skill and the gap between the level of the user and the level of the monster which gave the status effect.
