The red haired fox girl let out a small sigh as she lowered her head, her eyes carefully darting around the central marketplace of the great city of Londonium. Rush hour was upon the market, and a large crowd of people gathered. She was lost among the crowd, not that she had ever not been lost. Stumbling around blindly through Londonium was her expertise, and today was the day that she decided to end all of that. After finally blindly finding her way to the market, she merely looked around, overwhelmed by the sheer number of stalls and people. She had not anticipated such a crowd, nor had she thought that she would have so much trouble getting to the stalls, let alone finding the materials that she needed. She approached stall after stall. She knew that if she were to become a better scribe, and if she were to be able to find her way around, she would need paper, pens, ink, and then to begin working on map after map of Londonium. She chuckled softly to herself, tail slightly wagging, it was amusing to her that she was becoming a papermaker first, before she could really become a scribe. It had never really crossed her mind, how something that everyone seemed to have, and need, was now something she had to figure out how to make. She browsed through the various shops, grabbing various different things to make paper with, such as wood pulp, other bits of paper, anything she could use to put it all together. She would sigh, overwhelmed by the variety of things she could make paper out of. Sadly, she found herself with only the basic materials, as her level as a scribe was not conducive to better papers and materials. However, the paper could only get her so far, she also needed to gather materials for a pen and ink. As she resumed her browsing of the stalls, she found herself face to face with several feathers that she could use for a quill pen. She carefully examined each one, running her hand through the feather itself, feeling the textures to determine which one she could use that would be the most comfortable for her. “Damn…” she thought to herself “I need to level this up so I can use better quills, then I can map out whole areas...maybe even be useful on a journey somewhere, then I could get my name out there, start gathering some people who could bring some preparedness to this place…” She would grab a quill, giving a small nod as she paid for it, sliding it into her bag as she turns to gather materials to make her new supply of ink with “Why does it have to be a goose feather? Level one feather my ass...I want a damn eagle pen, but I suppose by the time I’m all done with this one and the paper, then I’ll be able to come back and make one out of better material, maybe I’ll even be level ten soon, that would be perfect” she thinks to herself again as she arrives at another stall. She closes her eyes, mumbling under her breath “Let me think...ink is made of four parts...colorants, binders, additives, and carriers...and it can be in four categories. I want aqueous or liquid for pen ink.. And it’ll probably have to be carbon based...so soot...arabic gum? What is that? Whatever...right...so now I take all this back to the inn and I pray that I can figure out how to make ink, a quill pen, and paper...and I probably shouldn’t make it through the menu…” she says as she picks up various bottles and powders, paying for them before the red-haired fox-tail girl would slide them into her bag, pacing out towards where she came from, losing herself in the city and wandering her way back to her inn.

The fox tail girl arrives back at her inn once more, a bag full of crafting supplies ready to make her into a full scribe over her shoulder. She sets her bag down on the desk, pulling out the supplies and breaking them down into three parts, one for each of the items she was about to craft. First and foremost, she would have to craft her pen. Without her pen, she would be useless, so if the crafting failed then she would not end up wasting her time on unusable paper, and would begin again. She would grab the feather from her bag, taking a small knife, she would begin to shave off some of the barbs, making it about halfway up before stopping, smiling as she enjoys the style of what will become her pen. She then takes the knife to the bottom of the quill, smoothing it out to form the tip of a pen, ensuring that it is flat to work best as a pen, with a clear point that is the tip of the pen. Using a small, wire like object, she begins to clear out the inside of the pen, in order to ensure that capillary action will come into effect when she places the pen into the ink. Next, she tempers the quill. This makes it hard enough to actually work as a pen. To do this, she would end up heating the tip of the pen, using some basic magic in order to generate the needed heat. Her next step is making the needed cuts. She then proceeds to running the tip along a sandpaper like substance, grooming out any imperfections in the tip of her pen, she smiles as she looks down at her clean, goose feather quill pen, gripping it like any other pen from the world before, with one step complete, she was ready to move onto her ink, thinking to herself “Well...it looks kinda elegant...not as much as an eagle pen would...but that’s later, maybe a level five kinda scribe thing...then I’ll make better paper...but all of this right here is for my map...just...making that map”

Klide had woken up rather late on that day. He had been up late into the previous night to hunt some of the mobs he wished to take care of. He had payed for that choice by waking up later than he had in a long time. His eyes were still murky and fogged over as he made his way into town. It had been about a week since he had last entered town. The last time he had been there, He met two new girls, and was re-acquainted with his friend Bailin. "Hmmm, I wonder how all of the others are doing. I was helping to mentor them, and then we went our separate ways. Are those two girls handling them selves alright? I have no idea where they live, or where I could find them to check in on them, but maybe I could check in on Bailin." Klide walked down the streets of the city, absentmindedly thinking these thoughts. He was not looking for anything particular as he found his way into the market place. He looked up to meet a large crowd of People of the Land and Adventurers buying their necessities, and bumping into each other every few steps. He made his way into the middle of the street. There was much more room to breath there. He began to walk a bit faster, noticing a familiar figure not to far ahead. He did not try shouting her name, thinking she would not hear it anyway in the bustling crowds surrounding them. Instead, he decided to follow her out of the crowd. He was not fully awake yet so he was not at his max speed, and as such, she was slowly getting further and further from him. Finally, from a great distance, he saw her figure walk into what appeared to be an inn. He made his way in though the front door, and stepped up to the front desk. A rather heavy set woman sat behind it. She looked up and asked if Klide was interested in getting a room. "No, no ma'am, I regret to inform you that I am not, could you please help me with something else though? You see, I know the girl who just came in here, the short one?" The fat woman chuckled. "Young man, that was no girl, that was an old man. That girl your looking for wears a brown hood too huh? Check the inn down the street, I think someone like that lives there." Klide bowed low with a crimson face "Thank you, I am sorry to have been trouble." and with that, he turned and left the inn. He made his way down the street, in the direction the inn keeper had indicated. He stepped though another door way and found himself face to face with a very old man sitting behind a dark oaken desk. "Excuse me sir?" he said, wondering if the man was asleep, as his eyes were very well shut behind that desk. The man jolted awake at Klide's words and looked at him inquisitively. "Are... Are you.." he was interrupted by Klide very quickly . "No, no I am not here for a room, I am sorry. I was hoping that my friend is perhaps staying here? She wears a brown cloak and is rather short in stature. Is she here?" He waited as the man sat lost in thought. "hmmm, Ye... yes, I do believe there is someone like that here, would you like me to show you to her room?" Klide bowed his head in appreciation. "I would like that very much sir, you have my thanks." and with that, he was led up a stair case and into a long hall of doors. The old man knocked on the fourth one down and said through the door "Uh, miss? Are you in there? There is someone here to see you." Klide then leaned against the wall, thanking the old man once more and lifting one of his feet up against the wall. The old man made his way back to his desk, as Klide stood resting as he leaned against the wall, waiting to see if the door would open. Word Count: 705 Tags: Keyala

"Ugh, yeah! Coming!" the usual voice of the red haired fox-tail girl named Keyala says from within the room. A loud thud would echo from within the room "Gah! Gods damn it! I'll be right there! Damn...ugh...**** this..." she says from within the room, opening the door. The red haired fox-tail girl wears her usual brown robes, its clear she is going to need an armor upgrade at some point, along with a new weapon likely, but that is for the future. The most notable thing now, is that she is covered in what looks like ink. Previously she had recently finished boiling together all the needed materials to create the ink, allowing all of the various materials to mix together, settling as one substance in the end. It appears she managed to trip over her desk, spilling some of her newly made magical ink all over her basic brown robes, some small spots of it dot her hair as well "Oh...hey Klide..how's it hanging? Ya' need somethin'? I was just getting my scribe level up, getting all of the basic materials...gunna make a map as soon as I'm all done with the paper. Oh! And I need a seal, to show that my projects are mine, which I'm gunna have to go out and get more materials for, then I'll have to craft a symbol, which would also probably help my sigilmaker skill, which actually...I could probably make one for you one of these days, if you'd like to mark your crafts with some sort of symbol, or maybe a rune to enchant it with something, since I think you can do acid etching, which would embed the rune. Anyhow! What brings you to my humble hiding hole? Oh gods...this isn't one of those 'Come outside Keyala, get off your computer and go actually be social, stop reading in the dark, why do you lock yourself in your room all day?' type of things, is it? Gods mom! I am socializing, and I can read in the dark, it's fine, it won't hurt my eyes!" she says, chuckling as she crosses her arms, seeming to forget that she is still covered in ink, she certainly can change her attitude fast and with very little warning.

Klide heard Keyala clattering about on the other side of the door as she responded to the old man with "Ugh, yeah! Coming!" followed by her cursing loudly. Klide smiled to himself and waited for the door to open. When it finally did open he was met with a Keyala covered in black specks, which he suspected were ink blots, given her scribe subclass. "Ah, good to see you again Keyala. I do not need anything in particular, just that I thought I saw you, turns out it was someone else with a similar robe, but the lady at the other inn told me I might find you here. I just wanted to check in and see how every thing has been going over the past week. I haven't seen you or the others since Bailin and I mentored you in that field last week. I was actually planning on checking in on Bailin, when I saw the person who looked like you. I though maybe you would like to join me? Maybe if I get lucky he will let me use his forge again, though I haven't the faintest on what I should craft. I think I will be fine as far as a brand goes. I can just create my own. I am pretty decent at drawing little symbols and such, so once I establish one that I want I can engrave or chisel it in the things I forge for people. This is not one of those "Get out and socialize runs." I was not aware that you weren't being social, so if that is true, then maybe I came at the best moment." Klide said to her jokingly. "Anyway, would you like to join me? You could practice your scribe stuff there, and then you can be with other people, granted ones you only met a week ago, but we are better than nothing right? Hmmm, perhaps... maybe before we go, you should wash up a bit? You have a bit of ink on your... well everywhere actually." Klide laughed a bit and hoped he had not insulted Keyala with his remark. "Well...yeah...I do need to get some new supplies...and some more stuff to make more ink. I suppose that getting out and walking around will help me work on my map too, so I can finally stop getting lost around here." the red headed fox-tail says, chuckling, as she crosses her arms "I suppose I need to also get some supplies to make my mark with, so I can put a seal on everything I make. Oh! And I can also finish my paper and work on an experiment I had in mind! After all, you are crafting stuff, right? Can you actually make anything for a summoner to use? If you could, then I'd pay for the materials! Like...maybe a new staff...or some new armor...or maybe I should just level up my scribe skill and make grimoires...or maybe I should get a whip." she says, chuckling again with a small sinister smile "I can also make you maps you know, if you need any, cause that'd be good for getting my scribe skill up." she says as she leaves her inn room, not bothering to clean any of the ink off of herself as she walks down the hallway, with or without Klide, before turning back and sprinting into her room, going up to her desk with her ink, paper materials, and quill pen on. She slides them into her bag, heading out, once again with or without Klide "That stuff is important, and I'm social mom, I swear." she teases, turning around and walking backwards. "The ink builds character, makes it look like I really am the scribe I claim to be before they look at my level. I mean, I am a great scribe, don't get me wrong! I mean...I could probably help you out with symbols and such...considering my second subclass is as a sigilmaker...soooooooo...perhaps that could have some hidden power if it interacts with a weapon? I know that as a scribe I can work with a blacksmith to make some enchanted weapons, so perhaps we could make some kick ass gear? I'm sure that your new sword would be even better if it were enchanted, and had some sort of magic power. Or if you had two enchanted swords! That'd be wicked cool! Then we could go do some adventures, maybe go explore a little bit! Hell, I could make some maps of places that no one has even been yet, imagine that, it'd do really well with helping me get my name out, our us as adventurers!"

"Hmmm, Well I am not sure we will be stopping in at a store along the way, but I agree that a walk will be helpful in getting to know your surroundings. Especially since we will be going somewhere I do not think you have ever been at before today. Bailin lives in a nice house down by the river in the woods, so I think of it as a really peaceful place." Klide then paused to hear Keyala excitedly talk about how she was curious if he could make anything for summoners. I can make you new staves, but I can not help with the armor. Shouldn't the magic classes wear lighter armor? more mobility for less defense? Alternatively you could make yourself a few more grimoires, or get a whip I suppose. But I do not think I am the right customer for your maps. I do not use them, and usually just rely on my own senses and memory to get around. The only time I think I would really need a map would be in a labyrinth or some other kind of random maze. Sorry that I can not be more helpful to promoting your trade, but perhaps Bailin will need a map or two?" Keyala began to walk down the hall, then turned around, picked up all her scribe gear, and went down the hall once more, teasing Klide as she went. She told him that she would keep the ink because it added character. She then claimed to be a great scribe, and said once again that she could help him with his blacksmithing by assisting with the symbols and emblems. He followed her down the hall as she walked ahead of him "Yes, it would be nice to have some special attribute on a weapon. As a matter of fact, I am a big fan of the element of fire. So having a sword with a flame attribute would be quite nice. However, I think I will wait before taking you up on your offer. I mean no offense, but I have my doubts as to what a level one sigil makers abilities with making a higher level weapon more powerful can really do. Same problem with a level one scribes help. Honestly I am not even sure you can do it even if you wanted to. Some things require a higher level to even be able to perform the basics. That's why a level one woodcrafter can not make a ship, and a level one brewer can not make high quality ale. I likely will not be making my sword today, but maybe in the near future. It needs to get done eventually. Maybe we could go and explore a bit. Go see the vast world and have you as our mapper scribe. That would be a good experience for you and for me. Though I think it would be better with a party of more than two."Word Count: 484 Total Word Count: 1061+484=1545 Tags: Keyala

She chuckles, crossing her arms, turning around to face Klide as they emerge out onto the bustling streets of Londinium, she shakes her head "Come on now Klide...don't assume that I don't know about levels, I may be a low level, but I know how they work, after all, I've spent a lot of time looking at them. Yeah, I assume I need a tailor, know any good ones? Cause I'm gunna be grinding through levels really really fast, if everything goes to plan. Don't discount that I'll be able to enchant your weapon next time you make a new one, in fact, I'll even make a wager that I will be able to do so by the next time, after all, I'm even leveling right now!" she says, as she opens up her inventory, casually flipping through it. She materializes a small ink bottle in one hand, with her quill pen artfully put into the bottle. She reaches her free hand into her bag, pulling out a rather large piece of parchment paper, it is not very well crafted, but it'll do it seems. Resting the bottle of ink on her left arm rather expertly, she holds the paper in one hand, returning her ink to her bag, she presses the now inked up pen to the paper, and the map of the Unfounded Kingdom's great city of Londinium begins to create itself on the parchment. It seems whatever she had previously explored and put on her minimap fills itself in, as the winding streets of the city continue to unfold on the paper. She seems to have covered an amazing amount of distance in her time in the city. She idly hums as the city continues, still walking backwards...it seems only a matter of time until she trips. "Now Klide...don't assume I haven't been somewhere also...because with the amount of time that I have spent lost in this city, I've been almost everywhere, so this crafting district is rather familiar to me, at least...I've accidentally stumbled into it several times, so, now the only thing I don't know is where Bailin is, so bud, sounds good?" she chuckles again, turning back around as she walks, still pressing her quill to the map

"Unfortunately no, I do not know any Tailors, aside from Dumah, but I have not heard from him in a long time. Writing on the go are we?" He said as she began to pull parchment and ink from her bag. They were wandering down a stone patch, passing tall apartments, and little market stalls with vendors advertising their wares. It was then that Klide realized something quite important. "Um.... Keyala? Why are you leading? Also, We happen to be going in very much the wrong direction." Klide thrust a thumb over his shoulder to indicate the direction they should be going. "Bailins house is that way, dead opposite from where we are headed, so forgive me if I seem forward about it. Also, forgive me for saying this, but I think it is quite arrogant to say you have been everywhere. There are many places I am certain you have yet to explore. I could show you the view from the top of Big Ben or maybe from the top of Old St. Paul's Cathedral. I know you are not the best with heights, but just imagine the maps you could make from up there. Oh! and the stars? Beautiful! The sunset turning the spy Pink and Orange and Red and Purple! Then fading until all that's left is black and some street lights far below. If you get scared I can take you down, But you should really try is someday. Maybe after we get back from our epic adventure! I Already discussed something along the lines with Bailin, and we decided that maybe Scotland would be the best place, so if you join us we have at least three." With that, Klide guided Keyala to the right path, and they began making their way toward Bailins house. IT was not too far, and Klide could soon see the dirt path up ahead. "Ya really haven't figured it out yet Klide? Of course I'm arrogant, I'm just not the annoying kind of arrogant that will refuse to admit when she's wrong. And yeah, sounds like some fun places to check out. And you're going to Scotland! Of course I'll go! I told you I wanted to go when I first met you! I can map out Scotland since no one has done it yet! That'd be a good way to get my scribe level up and to get my name out there, since ya' know, arrogant. Also, who said I wasn't going the wrong way on purpose? After all, I still need to make sure to finish all of Londinium and the Unfounded Kingdom, I mean...the Unfounded Kingdom map is my next map I need to make, probably before I make the map of Scotland, then I'll just generally draw a map of the isles, I mean, there is still a whole island to explore, even after the Great North is explored. Actually...is there a name for Scotland in this game? Or do we get to name it? I know all of the Brits and Scots probably have their various names for it, but we should at least come up with something creative if none of the Landers or anyone else has. So I take it you and Bailin are leading that? I suppose I'll have to go do some serious grinding through the levels...both scribe and summoner. Well, good thing I have time, and am still making this map!" she says, pulling her quill pen away from the map, as the ink begins to settle. It isn't the best quality map, but that is likely due to the fact that she has low quality ink, a level one quill pen, and low quality paper. This is hardly the last time she'll likely make this map, and in all likelihood, if she started all of her tools from scratch again, she would be able to make a better map right off the bat, it seems possible that is her plan, grinding out tools and maps, slowly getting better tools so that she can enchant and map. She sighs, shaking her head "As for heights, I can take myself down if I get nervous. I've done tall buildings in real life and managed to keep myself fine, I don't need to be babied just because I can't do heights. I only get nervous, nothing too bad. Once we get there I may step out for a few minutes to get some more supplies, I need to grind out my scribe skill, and this map is...it needs work..." she says, looking down at her crude map of the city, that has finally finished setting, sliding it back into her bag carefully, she looks around "Oh yeah...I know this place...been lost here a few times myself"

Klide walked with his hands in his baggy pockets. The dirt path beneath his feet was dry and every so often a little spout of dust would be kicked up as he walked down towards his friends home. As he looked up at the trees and watched the light cut through some of the leaves, and making others glow a very bright green he listened to Keyala's little rant about how it would help her level up if she went on a big adventure and about her going in the wrong direction on purpose, which Klide suspected was a complete lie to replace any embarrassment or feelings of foolishness, because how could she know which direction was wrong if she did not know the right one, but he did not point out his suspicions. She then asked if Scotland had a new and different name, or if the adventurers would get a chance to name it. "Not to my knowledge no, but I am certain that the Scotland Landers have their name for it, and we need to respect that. IT would be very odd if they had no name for their home, as then they could not identify with a land to call their own. At the very least, if they end up being tribesmen and wanderers, a heartier folk who caravans around with no permanent home, then they would still have names for their clans, and the land their clans would own would share that name. But this is only speculative. I honestly do not know idea of what it will be like once we get there, but if i were to make any assumption about that land, I would say that it will be difficult. There are no doubt mobs and monsters there that have levels upwards of sixty and would eat Bailin and me up quite quickly if we were caught unprepared." Klide then took a moment to listen to her comments on the trip to Old St. Paul's Cathedral, or Big Ben. "Keyala, You know I would not baby you do you not? I thought we established that I already consider you an adult and am simply trying my best to express some concerns about a fear I know you have. Is it really so bad to have someone offer to help you if and when you may need it?" With that, they entered a large clearing and Keyala said she had been lost there before. "I believe this is where some of the People of the Land go for a picnic. It has a pleasant atmosphere doesn't it?"

"Oh come on Klide, do I have to keep telling you to relax and open up? Have some fun Klide, have a little bit of wonder in your life and in your mind! After all, this is a world that we haven't seen before, that was built to be wonderful and fantastic and full of mystery! Yeah, obviously the logical conclusion is that they have a name for it, but the prospect of unexplored and unnamed land is a wonder that only people nearly two hundred years older than us had any concept of, or any chance to discover, unless it was from a distance with a telescope, or at the bottom of the ocean! Don't you worry, they won't catch you unprepared, not as long as I'm around! After all, my strength is in preparation. I could also very easily summon a Harpie, and then use Bird's Eye to scout ahead of us. I will be a higher level by then after all, and then we can know what we're headed into before we just dive straight in." she rolls her eyes, looking around the opening "Fine, babying is the wrong word. It's more of...I prefer to take care of things myself, because if I become reliant on others, then how can people rely on me? I suppose it's a little irrational, but it's my tick, and it's just how I'll be, so I'll fight you till the end on that! Anyhow, where is Bailin's place? "No... I guess not Keyala. I am sorry. You do not have to keep telling me to relax and open up. It is just some personal limitations. Believe me when I say that I am a pretty relaxed guy most of the time. So I guess having fun should not be too hard. And as for wonder. I have plenty of it in both my heart and soul, I just do not share it as openly. I know all about the wonder of finding something new and naming it. One of my biggest dreams in life before the Catastrophe was to go to a world where the sword was still a viable way of live, and where there were lands still unknown to us. Where I could find someone to love and protect with my blade, with out some stupid government breathing down my neck and getting involved in every aspect of my life. I am glad to hear that you will have my pback Keyala, but believe me. There are things in this world that can get to you even if your are more prepared ever before. Some things in this world can not be prepared for, but it will be my honor to fight by Rose's side to vanquish them." I also think that in some cases I would rather dive straight in. Where is the wonder and mystery if I do not put myself in serious danger every once in a while. Maybe while you and your harpy are sleeping, I will go and scout out the land to find something to fight. and save us the trouble of dealing with later. If what you are saying is true, than babying is definitely the wrong word. You are simply independent and strong." Klide suddenly began laughing about what Keyala said next. "Keyala, do not be foolish. No offence is intended here, but it is because you become reliant on others that the people around you can then rely on you. If you rely on them, you do not leave them out, they know they are needed, and they need you too. No one can go through everything on their own. We are naturally social creature and we all have different weaknesses and strengths. It's almost like a puzzle. Our strengths fill the weaknesses in other people, and their strengths fill out weaknesses, but that is also why not everyone is compatible. Some people just can not get along because they can not get over something whether they rely on each other or not. You just need to find someone that you can rely on, and who can rely on you and makes you feel safe and comfortable. Fight me till the end on it if you want. That is all I have to say about that, so I will not argue with you whether you have a rebuttal or not. Bailin's House is right over there" Klide said crouching down and pointing to it for Keyala to see. "It is quite small right now, because of how far away it is, but it will not take us too much longer to reach it. See it over there? It is the Brown building with the waterwheel. We should reach the front door by the time your done telling me that you refuse to rely on someone, though I can not see how you expect to survive Scotland with that attitude. We can make the stuff very soon." Klide sighed, and braced himself for any arguments that may come his way. He felt relieved that the weather was so nice today, but he was hoping that a torrent of rain in the form of arguments would avoid him. "I think you and I are destined to fight Klide, not physically, just, to never agree on the route we think is right, or the method that we think is right. I do expect to work with people when I got to Scotland, working with someone is different than relying on someone. If you rely on someone, you cannot exist without them, and that is unhealthy, but if you work with people, and form bonds with them, then you can prepare for anything. Maybe our differences are just in semantics Klide, perhaps it's only a phrasing problem, eh? Don't always assume I'll argue with you, but debate is fun, it kinda is like my energy, ya' know? Regardless, the more we prepare, and the more we know, the better. I have a few research projects I'd like to try before we leave. For example, as a Summoner I can use Summon Follower: Skeleton. This Skeleton is equipped with basic gear, and you can equip it with better variant, but what about other types of weapons? Could I equip my skeleton with a two handed weapon such as an axe or a broadsword? But even better...a bow and arrows, or even perhaps a rifle? As an elemental summoner that I plan to become, it is all about having the best summon for the situation, so if we are fighting plant creatures, I summon my Salamander to deal damage. If I am fighting in a party, then I summon Rose who takes the damage if I make her out of iron or dirt. If I need to be the scout then I summon my Harpy, and she flies above to explore. I need to test out everything I can to ensure that my contracts contain as much power as they possibly can for whatever situation I'm in. Also testing out the best way to use castling, because for example, if I summon Rose in a safe zone, it doesn't use mana. So what if I leave Rose or myself in the safe zone and the other heads out with a party, would it be possible for Rose to be summoned for a nearly indefinite time? And then just monitor her health, along with the health of the party, from the safe zone, and castle back when she might die? So Klide, in my class, and in my version of it, it pays to be prepared for every possibility, because I have to react quickly to the threat, and since I can act as someone who monitors the rest of you, while my summons attack and defend, I move beyond just an offensive of defensive support role, I move to a role where my preparedness is vital to that battle. You're right, you can't be totally prepared, but I need to have my options to flex to if all else fails." she finishes her rant, giving Klide a small smirk as the approach Bailin's house with his water wheel "Perhaps Bailin could help in my skeleton test, eh?"Word Count: 506 Total Word Count: 3490 Tags: @blazeedge Bailin

"Yes, I suppose... you are probably right that we were destined to disagree." Klide suddenly paused and chuckled as the neared the wooden house by the river. "Ironic is it not? How we agree about disagreeing? Unfortunately, I must once again disagree, or... rather than disagree, perhaps it would be better to call it introducing you to my own thoughts. To me, working along side someone and relying on them, are very different things. BUT in battle or when your life is in danger it is not work. If we were fighting a giant turtle or something (I dunno, could maybe kinda sorta be possible in a world like this?) You would not be working with me. At that point , we are relying on each other to do what we can to keep each other alive as best possible, while also killing the enemy as quickly as we can. In the context of an adventure like this, the little things are ones I would consider work. Like unpacking a cart, drawing a map of the lands, repairing your companions armor and weapons, or setting up camp. All of the manual labor along the way. I do not think that relying on some one means you can not live with out them. I think it means something more along the lines of giving someone your full confidence in them and trusting them to do what needs to be done. Sometimes, Relying on people could save your life, like a weak guardian relying on his buddies who are in support classes to keep him ticking. In that case, you literaly could not live without them, but only for that moment. Usually it would just be acts like me charging us and you trusting my to use my skills to there optimum potential and not killing rose in the process, and me trusting to not be hit by anything your firing. I am probably being a little repetitive, but you get the picture now right? Also, is relying on people not present in the working environment? Do you not rely on people to get their work done so that you can get yours? Like in a publishing company. The publishers rely on the editors to have made the work of literature a higher quality one, and the editors rely on the writers to get their end done by the deadline. It is reliance that is at work there, that is not work. "... if you work with people, and form bonds with them, then you can prepare for anything." what is that called, those deep bonds? Are they not trust and confidence in each other? so then, how would that not be relying on each other? Anyway, about your experimenting, I can not really help with any of that, aside from making the equipment for the Skeleton. I look forward to the fruit of your labor though." With that, Klide walked down the stone path to Bailins front door. He gave a slight knock, but seemingly the instant before his knuckles connected with the door, the dogs let out a chorus of barks. "Oops, I forgot to mention the dogs didn't I.... I hope they are not to grumpy about you being a foxtail, but do not worry, you can rely on me." And at the word 'rely' Klide give Keyala a wink.
