As Big Ben started to ring during the first morning hours the first streams of sunlight filled the streets. Few of them also found their way through the windows of the apartment where a girl named Rosalie Rosenkranz lived. At the moment she is lying in her bed unavare of the sunlight entering her room. Her black hair with an red shade to it was messed up in an wonderfull phenomenon called "morning hair". Slowly she opened her eyes. Her eyes were large and silver. Despite squinting sleepily her eyes already were full of energy and life. She smilled slightly, pushing the blanket down to her lips. That revailed the black tanktop she was wearing as a part of her pajamas. Besides that it revailed also multiple large scars. On her arms... Under her left cheek... And it seemed that an larger scar was in between her breasts aswell, however most of it was still hidden by the tanktop. She closed her eyes once more yawned loudly and streched slightly with her arms in the air, the sound of her voice filling the room. Then she opened her silver eyes again and looked around the sun-filled room. Slowly she moved her body and sat on the side of her bed. That revailed her pajama shorts and more scars on her legs. She didn't seem bothered by that however. Of course... It was her home. And this should be an wonderfull day. Then she finally stood up and walked over to the window, looking down on the busy street of london. With an slight smile she watched the cars and early morning ruckus of the streets. Then she turned around and proceeded to the bathroom to continue her daily morning rituals. Fixing her hair to an simply hairstyle fitting her perfectly, brushing her teeth, washing her face and taking a shower. Then finally she returned to the room and walked over to her closet. Before opening it she looked on the calendar besides her bed. "Today the server will be started..." She mumbled to herself. Then she opened the closet and took out some clothes. Besides the obvious stuff like underwear she took an simple black t-shirt, an black folded skirt, pair of socks, and an red/black hoodie with the assasins creed logo on its back and small cros on the collar, right above the place where the hood started. First she put on the underwear, hiding her private areas before putting on the t-shirt. It appeared to be quite loose, her body looking even smaller and more fragile in it. Then she put on the skirt, ziping up the zipper on the side before putting her socks on. And then, she finally put on her hoodie. With an smile she walked over to the door and put on her black leather boots. "Alright! Everything ready!" She said to herself happily before opening the door. As she opened the door she looked around the hallway. It was silent and empty. She closed the door behind her with an slight click of the door mechanism closing. Then she turned around again and walked through the hallway towards the lift. Stepping inside the lift she automatically clicked the number zero on the panel inside, the lift closing its door behind her. While the lift was lowering itself she put on her headphones to listen to music. Meanwhile her left hand played with the silver cross she was wearing, moving it around in her hand slowly while humming an peacfull song. It was an truly beautifull morning. Once the lift stopped she put on the hood of her hoodie and walked outside, squinting as the morning light nearly blinded her. But soon she regained full controll of her eyesight and headed through the street towards an nearby shop. As she reached the shop she entered it, pushing the glass door open with the ring of the small golden bell attached to it. The shop was an simple place with wooden furniture giving the overall peacfull look of an small café. She sat down in the corner of the room with wall behind her and put an small note before her. The neat handwriting on it said "as usual". The shopkeeper walked over to her table and took the not, nodding with an smile. She looked outside of the window, her eyes fixed with the look on the morning sky. She heard the birds singing, she felt the sunlight on her skin. Her eyes looked friendly with positive energy nearly searing from then. An tick of saucer being put on the table brought her back to reality from her daydreaming. She twitched slightly as an fox interrupted by an loud human walking nearby. The shopkeeper smiled as he put down an cup with coffee on an porcelain saucer. Besides the cup with black liquid there were two cubes of the light brown sugar and an small metal spoon you usually see with such an cup. Besides this an larger plate was lying with two toasts divided into halves. She took one in her left hand instead of playing with the cross and bit off the corner of the toast. The brittle texture of the freshly baked bread made into an toast freshned her senses along with the full taste of ham and salad. She smiled slightly while she munched down what she bit off and glupped it down before taking another bite. When she ate it she took her cup carefully wiith her right hand, bringing the edge of the cup over to her lips while holding the saucer underath it carefully with her left hand. Finally she took an sip of the hot, pitch black liquid. She hissed at the pain of the too hot liquid burning her lips slightly and licked the hurt skin. The damage however didn't seem serious to her so she just chuckled slightly at her careless approach and started to cool down the black gold of every student by blowing on it. Then after an moment she took another sip and smiled with an satisfacted smile. The temperature weas just perfect. she put the coffee down and then used the small spoon to put the two sugar cubes into the black liquid. However by that time she was doing theese movements mechanically, because her mind was already wandering through the planes of her fantasy... While daydreaming about the world of Elder Tales Rosalie finished her breakfast. With the last sip she finished her coffee too and put the cup back on the saucer. The owner returned to the table. As usually, Rosalie took her purse out of the pocket of her hoodie and paid the usual bill. With an smile the owner nodded and returned back to his place. Rosalie just stood up and walked back to her apartment. Walking to her wordesk she started up the computer and sat in her chair. "Elder Tales... Finally I can start..." She mumbled to herself. And then finally she clicked the Elder tales icon...
With an smile she logged onto her account and looked tapped on the "create your character" button. With an grinn she started to prepare her character. "I will make her look... A little older than I do..." She mumbled to herself again while adjusting her characters appearance a bit more. "Races... Hmm... What about foxtail?" She mumbled to herself again while selecting the foxtail race. Seems interesting. She thought with an smile. Then she looked on the classes and selected the "Shaman" class. Then she proceeded selecting the Courtesan subclass and Blackmith crafting class. "Alright! Seems good" She chuckled to herself. "let's log in now!" She shouted out before finally pressing the log-in button.
And then... Suddenly... There she was.
Confused by the sudden change Rosalie winked multipple times and looked around. What... What happned? She thought unsure of what happned. Did I fall asleep? She thought as she looked around. It was an city in ruins, resembling an modern overgrown city. When she looked above she saw the bright morning sky and felt the light morning breeze. She winged few times again. What in the world did I just feel... Did I... Ears? Tail? She touched her ears and tail carefully. She creatinly felt the soft fox fur. And she even felt someone touching it. Am I... In Elder tales? She looked around more carefully. It realy looked like Londonium inside the game. That meant... She realy is in Elder tales... Well... Seems... This is real... I feel the air... the scent... I hear the birds. She thought. Then her fox ears twitched. She heared something more than that. Sounds of lamenting and desperation. What in the world... were more players in the game like she was? Alright... take a deep breath... I should look on the interface first. She thought as she swung her hand before herself. The interface as she saw it before on appeared before her. Alright... That was easy... Let's try something more then...

After getting familiar with the interface Rosalie smiled. "Alright, I'm quite familiar with this now..." She said toherself when she finished. "Alright... So let's take a look on my equipment now... Starter Claymore... Starter Platemail... Well I guess I can't start with proper equipment." Rosalie chuckled as she read through her equipment. She took a look ath the red cloak she wore and at the farbic it was made of. It had few holes of it and showed many signs of being low-level equipment. Her armor was actually just an common dress with few plates on the right places. "Well, better than nothing I guess." She says with an simple smile and heads over towards the quest area. While walking she looked around, taking an closer look at the buildings around her. The city truly resembled London in many ways. The main diference is that it looked more like london-ruins. Soon she reached an area which probably, acording to its look, used to be the Japanese ambasade. "I guess I should have expected that when I chose shaman class." She mumbled to herself while entering. "I wonder who is following the path today?" An female voice was heard from an nearby room. Charlotte's ears twitched slightly as she heard it. She stepped inside and looked on an woman in japanese priestess-like clothing. Charlotte walked in front of her, bowed politely and sat down in japanese style. "My, my you are realy polite girl." The woman chuckled and handed her an piece of prachment. "If you realy want to follow the path of shaman you will have to pass an test. Go to the backyard and read the words on the prachment. Then you shall face your fears and defeat them." The woman smiled as she explained her what she should do. Charlotte nodded a bit nervously and stood up, walking towards the door and bowing slightly before leaving. After she closed the door she walked casually towards the door to the backyard while reading through her skills. "Well, I guess this will be interesting." She smiled and opened the door...
As she walked outside she saw that the place is an normal japanese style garden. Taking the prachment in her hand she started to read the words insribed upon it. As she spoke the words formed an mysterious aura around her. When she finished she heard some movement suddenly. Charlotte's ears twitched slightly as she heard it, drawing her claymore quickly and looking around. Out of the nearby bush an spectral fox with burning eyes. The interface showed the information to her. Tainted fox spirit. With an smile Charlotte raised her sword and got into an battle stance she remembered. Holding her sword lowered with her right hand she tapped on the skill "Blood Oath" in her interface. Her body suddenly gained an reddish aura with an slight glow to her sword. The tainted fox spered started to rush forward, its spectral body moving quite quickly. Charlotte swung her sword, dealing massive damage to the creature when the tip of the sword hit it to the side of its head. The aura on her body and sword disappeared and increased the damage to the fox spirit as she killed it instantly. I guess that all beginning quests are this easy... she thought as she smiled nervously. Soon after she returned her sword back in the sheat and returned inside silently.
