do it like a brother, do it like a dude,
Cocktail always loved a good party, and the festival was no exception. She'd done her very best to patch her clothes up a little, bunching some of the material of her starter dress and then tying it off with the rough strips of fabric that she had been using for her hair. But if things went well today, she'd have something else to hold it back with, and maybe even a nicer dress. There were options for her, but the point was, she was hoping to have some fun, and maybe even sneak a pinch of alcohol if she got the chance to. After all, her brother always kept too close an eye on the supplies of liquor that had been kept in the house, but she was much less supervised now than she was back as Isabelle, and she was sure that with a bat of her eyes and a slight lean of forward, she'd be able to charm her way into a taste. But that was for later. Right now she was hopping about through the festival, mingling happily with the hair and preening under the compliments - mostly from People of the Land - over her lovely long waterfall of cyan hair, which was hanging loose, dangling all the way down to brush against her ankles as she walked. For the moment she was just fluttering from booth to booth, laughing softly as she accepted a flower from a young girl, tossing a wink as she placed the daffodil behind her ear, leaving the yellow petals out to contrast with her hair and earning her a thankful, tight smile from the girl's older sister, who was pretty cute, all things considered. Mmm, this really had been quite a good idea. She loved a good party scene, and- Was that music playing from another direction? The girl perked up visibly, a grin spreading across her lips. She hadn't had the chance to dance properly in ages. Humming to herself, she was already moving as she set off in the direction of the source, her hips skillfully twisting and twirling around the people in the crowd, even if what she was doing wasn't something that she'd consider dancing quite yet. Though that was more of a result of her being who she was than anything else, she had always loved to go out to clubs and dance, something that had gotten her quite a bit of attention back as Isabelle, someone who would be allowed into some of the larger clubs just as long as she didn't try to get any alcohol. It may not have been the conditions that she'd particularly wanted to agree to, but the clubs had the best music and a bigger audience, which were two things that she craved more than anything. She found the square where the music was coming from, grinning when she recognized the song as one that was something she’d danced to before, albeit in the privacy of her own room back in the real world. Humming to herself, she closed her eyes, deciding to see how she would manage her dancing here in the Unfounded Kingdom, sliding out of her shoes so that she could begin to move, not wanting to burden herself with something she wasn’t quite used to. She was going to dance, and there wasn’t anything that was going to stop her. |

On another note, the song that I imagine her dancing to is Valshe's cover of Symmetric Target, the dork reason for it being that, since Log Horizon is originally Japanese, I could see them having some English songs and a handful of Japanese themes that they just didn't find an English "equivalent" for, so when the Catastrophe happened, I could see that there's a few "singers" in the People of the Land who actually sing in Japanese. ;~; I'm a dork okay I already know I am.
