[attr="class","capsol"] Hiro's eyes flashed back to reality, as he heard screaming from up ahead. Hiro quickly turned to Sayha. "Let's do this!" Hiro shouted, turning to face ahead quickly. The light at the end of the tunnel that they had seen must have been the exit that they were looking for. Hiro broke into an all out sprint, activating both Eye of the Tiger and Hellfire Drive to boost his movement speed incredibly. He knew what would happen if he didn't get there in time, and what it would mean. The fate of Lonsdale would rely upon the actions that he and Sayha took now, and it seemed that the Pebble of Philosophy shared the same feeling. He heard the war cries of all the people from that time, as they all rallied behind his thoughts. He had to do something. He had to save this city. More importantly, he had to save Hope. After having seen what happened here, he could not turn his back. Whether this is what the Trickster meant for them to do or not, that didn't matter. There were people they had to save, and there was no other option for the two of them to do. His eyes squinted as the light enveloped around him, as he exited the catacombs.
The shattered remains of her spear lay on the ground just a little ways nearby, which she struggled to grab. Standing up eventually, she started to run frantically at them, as the monster seemed to be preoccupied with something else for the time being. She didn't know what, but she needed to do something to end this. At least buy more time, so other people didn't have to die. Picking up the point of the spear, Hope ran over to the monster again, and leaped into the air. Letting out a war cry, she attempted to stab into the monster.
Hiro saw Hope jumping in the air, shouting out loud in an attempt to catch the monster while it was preoccupied. But, he knew that she would be killed if it kept going for much longer after this. "I won't let that happen!!!" Hiro yelled, as his body plummeted into that of the hornet monster. He grabbed hold of it, in a tackle-like fashion, and flipped both himself and the monster over to where he was standing again. Immediately, he activated his next move, and sprung himself up and into the air. Hiro launched high up into the sky. using Suplex on the monster. Holding it with absolute strength, empowered by the Pebble of Philosophy, he began to quickly spin around in quick rotations. As he and the monster both neared the ground, Hiro let go of it quickly, throwing it down. As soon as he did this, he powered up his leg with the skill Megaton Impact. A bright glow began to appear around his leg, charging up quickly. The monster collided with the ground a second later, and then was very quickly crushed with Hiro's downward force. Planting his leg directly into its center of mass, Hiro's dropkick kept the monster there for a long enough period of time. It didn't move immediately, but the hornets began to move around slightly. Looking over at the entrance and rolling to the side before vaulting himself back up, Hiro shouted. "Sayha, NOW!!!!"
Hope saw the monster get knocked away from her, as she was about to stab into it. She landed on the ground, fumbling a bit, but still managing to keep her balance. Suddenly, the person who had attacked the monster had brought it up into the air, using some kind of technique the warrior hadn't seen yet. With the thought of this other person taking care of this monster for her at the moment, she looked around, and rushed over to Sage. She seemed to have taken some damage. Concerned, Hope ran over. "Sage!" She called out, rushing over to her companion. Crouching over just a tiny bit, she placed her hands on the Shaman's shoulders. "Are you okay?" She asked. As soon as she had, she heard the person who attacked the monster shout to someone else nearby. Just as that happened, she suddenly saw a glow around herself and her friend, and it seemed that all the wear and pain vanished from her. Her spear seemed to have repaired itself, too, but had lost all its color as though it had been eroded away. After that, Hope felt even more powerful than she ever had before. Looking over herself, she wondered what happened, but felt that it had something to do with the two people who had arrived. She glanced over at them quickly, wondrously.

When Sayha seemed to return to her actual body, Hiro turned to her, said something, and then dashed off leaving a trail of smoke behind. “You idiot!” Sayha called out, running after him, “If you’re not going to think straight, at least wait for me!” As she ran after Hiro, she felt an aura cover her. It was the <Pebble of Philosophy> again. She felt stronger and faster, just as she had when she fought Brachyura. And she had all the skills too. As much as she didn’t want to admit it, Hiro was right. Sayha drew her katanas, holding them backwards with the sharpened blade outward and the dull side near her arms. “<Death Stinger>,” she readied her blades as she came upon the scene, “<Shadow Arts Invigoration>.”
Sage’s timing was right on the first time as it blocked some of the damage of the swarm’s attack. When the swarm noticed her, part of them attacked her as well, but her Barrier made the swarm bounce backwards, and she did as well. Once she was able to steady herself, she looked around to try to find Hope. She had just been smashed against a wall. “<Prayer of Recovery>!” Sage called out, healing Hope the best she could. Hope, picking up her destroyed spear, ran right at the swarm. “<Damage Interception>!” Sage called out again, doing her best to protect her friend as she charged forward.
Sayha saw Hiro intercept the attack that would have killed Hope. Off to the side, she saw the Shaman, Sage, whose point of view she saw. She had just gotten to the fight on time as Hiro called for her to attack. She flipped the swords in her hands to that of how she usually wielded them. “<Swift Sakura Slash>!” Sayha slashed forward, hitting the swarm, which she could now see was actually called the Praesepe Sentinels. It was a type of Genius just like Brachyura.
The swarm aimed to attack Sayha, but she easily deflected the attack. Then, she went in for the final attack, “<Assassinate>! <Perfect Autopsy>!”
Sage felt stronger than she had ever before as both her and Hope glowed in some sort of aura. She looked over at where the monster stood. There were two others there who she did not recognize at all. However, they must have been powerful as they defeated the swarm with ease. Of course, now was not the time to question help. She quickly casted <Barrier of Purity> on all four of them.
“I don’t know who you two are, but if you’re here to help, I will help you,” Sage turned to the other two, “I’m a healer so make sure they don’t attack me.” Sage then turned to Hope, nodding, letting her know that she was good to go.

[attr="class","capsol"] Standing back up, Hiro walked over to where Sayha stood, patting on her back for a second. "Nice work, there." He gave her a thumbs up as he continued along, smiling, and went over toward Hope and Sage. He motioned for the Assassin to do the same. The two that he had seen in the vision just prior to this just up ahead, though he wondered what exactly was going on, seemed to be conversing a little. But, as he got closer, Sage said that she would help them, despite not knowing who they were. She then admitted to being a healer, so she should be saved from all kinds of damage, after having placed a barrier around them all. Hiro walked a bit closer, before stopping in his place and nodding. "You can count on us." Hiro's gaze then turned over to Hope, whom he guessed didn't know anything at all about him at this point. But, he knew just about everything there was to know about her, thanks to the Pebble of Philosophy. It was also due to the Pebble's interruption that they were all as powerful as they could be for the time being, but he wouldn't try and mention that to the two who were likely confused enough already.
Hope watched as the beast was struck down, almost immediately, and then saw that the two who had been fighting the monster seemed to be approaching them. Sage seemed to be trusting enough of these people to begin with, as she placed a Barrier of Purity on all of them. Hope, however, was reasonable skeptical. He man spoke something to Sage, to which Hope responded. "Strange clothes you've got on, travelers." She said, placing a hand on her hip and leaning to one side. "Any reason you've decided to appear out of nowhere and fight that monster?" She asked, almost demanding for an answer in her own tone. She picked up her spear off the ground, noticing the change that it had undergone. It looked different. Possibly older.
Hiro realized that they had been asked a question by the warrior, and he was about to answer, but the portal that had been there, which he had only just remembered now, began to open up even wider. "Dammit." Hiro muttered, as the portal began to open further. Something started to approach from it, much bigger than that sentinel that had been out before. This thing seemed to be another massive collection of hornets, but much larger and more daunting. Its form was that of a giant black cloud, of which Hiro could only image was filled with hornets. He shuddered at the thought of all those insects. Never really did like bugs much. The being hummed with a low droning buzz, before it spoke.
"Surrender."
Both Hiro and Hope squinted at the being, as she walked up next to him. Hiro turned to his side, facing the female warrior. "Questions will come later, for now..." Hiro brought a smirk to his face, to which Hope responded in kind. She felt like she could trust these two people, for now at least. Both of them struck their fighting stances at the same time. "Feel like taking a damage roll?" Hiro asked to the woman, who only nodded. Hiro turned to Sayha and Sage quickly. "I'll be the tank for this group, so Sayha, you focus on pure damage." Hiro's eyes shifted directly to Sage. "Try and stay back without causing that much of a ruckus. I can keep its eyes fixed on me, to let you do your job." Turning back to the monster, Hiro struck a more offensive stance. "We'll take this thing down here and now!" He shouted, as his body lunged forward. Hiro activated the skill Rafting Taunt, shouting at the monster just as he got near it. "Over here!" He shouted to the Genius, as he activated Incarnated Assault. A few clones of Hiro, as well as himself, surged forward, and all punched at the monster's exterior quickly. Hiro ran over to the other side, as the portal closed, trying to keep the enemy facing away from his allies.
Hope followed the Monk with a few quick stabs from her spear. She didn't want to deal much damage right at the start, since that would mean the attention would go straight to her afterwards. Once the monster's eyes were purely fixed on the Monk, she would start to deal a lot more damage, including skills that had been passed down in her people's line. She mostly used her defensive skills, since that was how her given sect worked, but she was known for her offensive capabilities as a soldier, and would make use of them as such. Until the others had fully backed up the Monk's attacks, and he started to gain more of its hatred, she would standby, but keep moving.

After Hiro patted her on the back, Sayha nodded accepting the compliment. He motioned her to follow him, and she did, keeping her swords by her side. The Shaman, Sage, trusted them already, or at least enough to help them. However, Sayha didn’t think she had much of a choice. Hiro told the two that they could count on both him and Sayha. Hope had asked them two questions, but Hiro answering them had been interrupted.
Sage seemed to be the only one who quickly realized that their victory was short-lived as she felt another pulse of magic. This time, though, she could feel its malice before it even appeared. The rip above the fountain widened, and another massive swarm came through it. Sage took a deep breath, remembering that in order for her to do her job, she would need to keep a calm mind. She needed to be ready for anything.
“Surrender,” the swarm hissed. Sayha quickly looked at its status. Praesepe Hive, Genius, Level 90, Field Boss. Just like Brachyura. Sayha switched her blade holding back to being backwards as she had before. Hiro game them the battle plan quickly before running off. Hiro would tank, both she and Hope would hit it with everything they had, Sage would stay back and heal. Sayha agreed it would be the best course of action. Even though both Hope and Sage had been boosted to 90 as Sayha had been, they were still Landers. If they died, they were gone once and for all. The two of them had been summoned to that time to stop that from happening. Hiro taunted the swarm which agroed them easily. Hope followed behind Hiro, poking at the swarm tentatively. “<Death Stinger>,” Sayha said, readying herself. After Hiro pointed the boss away from both her and Sage, Sayha began her attack. Even if she did happen to agro the boss slightly, she had an ability to drop it so Hiro would be able to get back in control.
As the fighter’s dashed off, Sage quickly re-applied <Barrier of Purity> to everyone. Then, she applied <Compounding Barrier> and <Damage Interception> on the one who would be holding the swarm’s attention.
Sayha wasted no time attacking, “<Quick Draw>!” she dashed forward right away, hitting the swarm with her katanas. She quickly followed up with another attack, “<Sword Rain Flurry>!” After her blur of swords stopped, Sayha jumped back just in case the swarm were to attack her. They didn’t, at least they didn’t appear to, so Sayha quickly readied her next attack, “<Swift Sakura Slash>!” She ended up on the other side of the swarm so she quickly dashed behind Hiro in case the swarm came attacking.

[attr="class","capsol"] Everybody seemed to have found their niche in this fight, and had begun to do what they needed to. Sayha began adding on a ton of damage, Hope started to stab at the monster a few times, and Sage had already compounded two types of Barriers onto Hiro, as he would be taking the brunt of the damage. This type of synergy seemed to look like it would do well, especially if they had such a massive amount of damage. Granted, mitigating someone like a Guardian to a damage role didn't seem like it would be that good of an idea, but if Hiro was the one taking the damage and Hope, Sayha, and Sage were all kept from taking it, then he wouldn't want anything more. For the time being, though, Hiro would have Sage's help to stop much of the damage that would be coming his way. And ho boy, was the damage heading his way. Bracing himself, Hiro took a whopping slap from the monster, though it didn't do much, if any, damage. Thanks to Sage's shielding, he didn't have to really worry about getting too much damage on himself. Hiro needed to start garnering a bit of aggro for himself at this point, so he would begin a combo.
Recovering after the attack, Hiro brought his fist back, charging it up with a Fist of Boreas blast. After a few seconds, Hiro unleashed a powerful blast of cold air, freezing a few of the hornets, and dealing some impressive damage upon the monster very quickly. He followed up with a Somersault Kick to deal some extra damage, but also begin another stage of the combo. Hiro jumped up into the air, using Wyvern Kick to slam his foot down onto the enemy. From there, he would activate and use two more skills. As he started to come crashing down, he activated Aura Kick, as well as charging up a Buddhist Palm as well, to give some bonuses to his allies around him. Hiro's foot crashed down onto the cluster's crystal in the center, and then he followed it up by slamming his open palm into the ground, emitting a powerful shockwave that encompassed himself, Praesepe Hive, Sayha, and Hope. It dealt some impressive damage to the Genius, while boosting Hope and Sayha's health and attack power by 10% for 15 seconds. "You guys got a boost there! Use it!" Hiro shouted, as he vaulted back to an upright position. He wound his arm back, charging it up for a few seconds, and then planting it into the crystal, using Dragon Rising Uppercut. "And, now it's weaker." He said, rising up into the air. All the while, he had been stung consistently, chipping away at his health.
Hope began to follow the Monk up with her own combos of spear slices and stabs. Since she didn't want to try and take any of the hatred from the Monk nearby her, she refrained from using skills, and just attacked however she could for the time being. When he began to attack the monster even more, she saw how the monster stopped looking over at the others, and focused solely on the Monk. This was the moment that she could strike. Jumping high up into the air, she felt the names of moves she had not yet learned appear in her mind. Performing a front flip, Hope held the spear out and above herself for a moment, as she came crashing down. "Ephemeral Guillotine!" She shouted, as a massive impact forged onto the ground, causing some decent damage on the monster from here. This was after she felt even stronger, thanks to whatever moves the Monk had used. And, the strike seemed to hit even harder, as there appeared to have been a shattering sound from the monster after one of the Monk's attacks. She quickly began to twirl her spear around, as another ability she had thought of began to materialize. "Armor Crash!" She said, as her weapon began to vibrate at a high frequency. From there, she continued to slice and stab the monster, dealing even more added damage. This was incredible! Hope felt so... So powerful!

After Sayha dodged behind Hiro, he took a huge hit from the swarm. However, Sage’s shields negated most of the damage. However he continued to be stung via other attacks. Now was not the time to relent. After briefly checking her cooldowns, Sayha ran past Hiro to the side of the swarm. “<Shadow Wires>,” Sayha said, hoping that it would help Hiro not take as much damage. Once she was near the side, she readied her first attack on her second assault, “<Quick Draw>!” She hit the swarm head on. “<Hazecloud Vault>!” Smoke arose around Sayha and covered a portion of the swarm. She hoped that it would decrease its vision even a little bit. If they were going to succeed, they needed Hiro alive.
At that point, Sayha saw Hiro’s buff. She needed to attack as many times as possible while it was active. “<Stealth Strike>!” she hit the swarm again with another quick slash. “<Accel Dance>! <Sword Rain Flurry>!” Sayha combo’ed two of her attacks together, doing her best to deal as much damage as fast as possible. Once <Accel Dance> and <Hazecloud Vault> wore off, she jumped back. Quickly glancing around, she saw that there were plenty of shadows for her to jump to within her range. Sayha gave a quick smirk, “<Infinite Nocturne>.” She felt herself blend into the shadows. Once she was good, she began attacking with basic attacks very quickly jumping from shadow to shadow.
After Hiro was attacked by the large hit, both shields were in bad shape. Sage realized though that she had more powerful healing magic in her arsenal now for some reason. Holding out her staff and targeting Hiro, she cast <Anima-Gathering Talisman> which healed him for a decent amount of health. Still keeping Hiro as her target, she casted <Barrier Armor> and <Luster Charm>. However, Hiro wasn’t her only concern. Targeting Hope, she re-cast <Barrier of Purity> again making sure she wouldn’t take too much damage if the swarm were to target her instead of the Monk. Just before the Assassin faded into the shadows, she quickly casted <Barrier of Purity> on her as well. The fight was going well, better than she could have ever expected. Just who were these strangers?

[attr="class","capsol"] The fight seemed to be going well, especially because of the damage boosts that everybody had on them, and the damage receptiveness increases placed on the boss itself. Despite this, though, the monster shifted into a hand-like form, where it seemed to have increased its damage. Whether it had taken more damage or not wasn't in his mind, but the fact remained that this monster would deal a lot more damage now. Hiro figured that he would need to adjust accordingly, activating Iron Body. His entire form shifted to more of a silvery color, glowing a bit in the light that was above them. This increased both his offensive and defensive power, while reducing some of his mobility. Just as the monster was about to hit him, Hiro braced himself for whatever attack was coming. However, he took no noticeable damage, as the Shaman, Sage had placed a few barriers on him. He looked at his health, which had begun to heal back up. His eyes shot over to the Shaman, and nodded to her. "Thank you!" He shouted, looking to face the monster further.
He wanted to make the healer's job as easy as possible for right now, while still maintaining some decent damage. Activating another upkeep skill, Iron Rhino Stance, Hiro's damage mitigation had increased further. As he did this, he began to punch the monster a few more times, while trying to keep its attention on him. Hiro looked over to Sayha, who was dealing as much damage as she possibly could, and then over to Hope, who was also swinging her spear like a madman. Every time he struck with his fists, he would increase the amount of aggro even more so, which meant that this fight was definitely going to go the way they wanted it to. At least, until the monster flew at him, and went up high into the sky. Praesepe Hive attacked him with a skill known as Sky Dive, and then flew up high into the air. Its health had decreased veritably well, comparatively speaking, and it was now down to about a quarter. Though, thanks to its height above them, they couldn't hit it with melee attacks. Thankfully, Hiro smirked, as he was already prepared for this eventuality. He opened up his inventory, and pulled out Ranger, the rifle that Hiro had made.
The gun appeared in his hands, and he immediately began to aim down the sights, up at the monster above. Hiro was still taking a bit of damage from the hornets that were circling him, assuming that this was its damage over time maneuver, but they didn't get in his way. Hiro lined up a shot, and fired a round quickly. Moving the lever back, an empty case flew out of the gun, and another round was put into the chamber. He continued to fire until the clip was empty, and then put the weapon back in his inventory. Always prepared, that's how he wanted to be. But, there was something else about to happen. As the Genius stayed above them, an indicator below the beast began to form, extending out around it. He looked at the ground, and shouted to the others. "Get out of the circle!" He called, seeing as the others could likely get out of it with enough time. "Make sure Sage is safe!" He didn't really like to bark orders like that, but it sure as hell was the time for everybody to move. He lowered himself a bit, prepared to take whatever hit was on the way.
Hope was slashing and slicing away at the disgusting beast before itself, trying not to take its eyes away from the Monk. She turned to Sage as she had been applying barriers and healing accordingly. "Looks like our training's begun to pay off, eh, Sage?" She called out to her friend, a large smile on her face. It was at this time that the monster began to change shape, and then eventually fly up into the air, where it looked to have managed to avoid all their attacks. It was at this time that the Monk pulled out some weird contraption, that let out a powerfully loud sound as a result. She covered her ears, since the firing was just so loud. "What is that!?!" She shouted, confused beyond belief. It was still hitting the monster, though? What magical contraption was it that it could hit a monster from the ground like this!? Eventually, though, the noise stopped, and the weapon disappeared. Still dazed by the contraption, she barely noticed the circle forming at her feet, and then the Monk shouting for them to move out of the way. Without wasting another second, Hope dashed out of the circle, heading over towards Sage, to make sure she was okay.

Sayha faded out of the shadows as the swarm attacked Hiro with their <Sky Dive> attack. While in the sky, there wasn’t much she could do, but then she remembered she did have some ability she could use. “<Void Shuriken>,” she started to form one shuriken after another and began throwing them at the swarm. During the time the swarm was in the air, Hiro pulled out a gun from his bag and shot at the swarm. “A gun slinging monk,” Sayha said to herself, “that’s a new one.” However, her entertainment was short lived. Once the swarm landed, there was a circle forming around it. An AoE attack. She quickly jumped backwards outside the circle as she heard Hiro call for the others to move outside it. She looked for the other two. Hope moved out of it completely and was running towards Sage. Sage quickly dashed out of the circle and over to Hope. Once they were safe, Sayha went back to throwing <Void Shuriken> at the swarm to continue to slowly dwindle down its health. After less than a few seconds, the entire area exploded. Sayha recalled it being some sort of Nebula attack, but did not remember the exact name.
The swarm was now at about 20% health. It was time to finish this. However, the swarm seemed to pulse within itself. After a moment, the swarm had split into two different swarms, both of them having 20% health. The fight wasn’t over quite yet, but Sayha knew she needed to end it as fast as she possibly could.
Sayha readied her blades, “<Death Stinger>.” Once the poison was refreshed, she attacked, “<Swift Sakura Slash>!” She quickly slashed forward targeting the swarm closest to her. Turning back to the swarm she had just attacked, she consumed the three charges of Shadow Counters she had been preparing, “<Swift Sakura Slash>!” She dashed forward and ended up on the other side of the swarm once more. “<Quick Draw>!” she slashed at the swarm. Once the attack was done she jumped up, “<Assassinate>! <Perfect Autopsy>!”
The first of the two swarms pulsed outward and turned into bubbles, its HP hitting zero. Sayha then turned her focus to the final swarm, “<Stealth Strike>! <Deadly Dance>! <Accel Dance>!” She attacked in quick succession, not letting up at all. She only needed one more attack to finish it, but her <Assassinate> was on cooldown. However, she had one more attack she could use, “<Sword Rain Flurry>!” She thrusted her blades in quick succession.
She saw the swarm pulse again, and Sayha instantly jumped back. However, it wasn’t to attack her. The swarm dissipated into bubbles.
Sayha took some deep breaths, instantly feeling all of the fatigue of the battle hit at one time. She fell to one knee, looking at her mana. It was incredibly low, much lower than she had thought. Knowing that the others would be concerned, she lifted one of her hands, giving a thumbs up, letting them know she was okay.
When the circle appeared around the swarm, Sage moved out of the circle. She saw Hope coming towards her, so she went over to meet her. “I’m okay,” Sage nodded. However, she needed to focus on other things. Lifting her staff, she quickly cast <Damage Interception> on the Monk who had remained in the circle. She also casted <Anima-Gathering Talisman> on him to heal him more. Once the explosion was done, Sage watched, slightly afraid, as the swarm split into two. However, she saw that the Assassin had been undaunted by it at all. Sage quickly casted <Barrier Armor> onto her. Once that finished, she casted <Healing Prayer> on the Monk once more. The Assassin’s movements awed Sage as she quickly destroyed one swarm and moved onto the next one without missing a single step. When the second swarm disappeared, the Assassin fell to her knee. Unsure of what her signal meant, she quickly casted <Anima-Gathering Talisman> to heal her in case she was harmed.

[attr="class","capsol"] Hiro braced himself as best he could for the attack that was to ensue, despite being able to have dodged it if he tried hard enough. But, who was to tell if this enemy would have swapped to focus on something else all of a sudden, shifting its aggro over to any of the girls that were there? What kind of a tank would Hiro have been, if he hadn't stood up to the attack and let someone else take it? A defective one, for sure, and one that would likely receive many hours of scorn and shame from his party members. He decided that he would stay, and take whatever damage would come his way. As the explosion flew about, Hiro took a heavy hit to his HP, regardless of how much he had braced himself beforehand. The blast was so powerful that he would have been knocked away, if it wasn't for both of his current stances up at the given time. Still, the shockwave was powerful, but it ended as soon as it had begun. Hiro noticed that Sage was had already anticipated something of this magnitude, and had already cast a healing spell and a barrier on him, to mitigate some damage and restore some HP.
The swarm split into two, having fully replicated itself. As much as he was worried about all this going on, he saw that Sayha was on her A-game. She was consistently attacking the first monster, as Hiro held up his guard. He decided that he would just let Sayha have the time of her life. He smirked, as both the hand-shaped swarms, now smaller than before, had pummeled away at him. His health, although as it was healing up, was starting to really take a beating. And eventually, he began to feel it. His legs were starting to give out a bit, but this was when the first of the swarms had turned into data. Feeling a sudden reinvigorating burst of energy, he continued to act as the wall, as he used Rafting Taunt once more. "Almost done, Sayha! Knock it down!!" He shouted, as her last combo began to materialize, finishing off the boss monster, once and for all. Hiro felt the hornets, constantly stinging around himself, began to drift away into dust, and the poison that had been laid upon him had also began to disappear. He deactivated both of his stances, and stumbled a bit, trying to stay standing. He was certainly feeling the stings now, which he didn't much appreciate.
Hope couldn't have done anything to help the situation further. The two travelers had seemed to finish things up on their own, and she only stared in amazement. They two of them had fought the monster, which had split into two, and even that didn't stop them. The two mysterious people with strange clothing seemed to have a system that just... clicked. After it was all said and done, Hope didn't know what else she could do. She just watched in awe.
Hiro walked over toward Sayha, who had fallen to one knee. A hand came up, signifying that she was okay. He smiled a bit, continuing to walk over to the Assassin. Once before her, he held out his hand, offering for her to grab it. Hiro would pull her up to her feet from there, if she accepted, and then would proceed to pat her shoulder. "You did good, Sayha." Hiro would say, as he began to walk over to Hope and Sage. He looked at them both, with a big smile on his face.
Hope shifted to one side, a soft smile on her. "Not too shabby, there, travelers." She began, putting a hand on her hip. "I'd like to know what you did, but something tells me, I won't really be able to know, will I?" She asked in a defeated way. She wanted to know, if it could make her just a little bit stronger. But, she knew that she likely wouldn't have the chance to do something as amazing as they had performed. Her body began to return to its normal state, the power that she had felt beginning to disappear into the air, as it seemed. As this went on, she knew they didn't have long before other guards would appear, and she would have to give a full disclosure as to what occurred. These strangers, although saviors, would have been shackled and brought into a jail, as they were very clearly outsiders. She motioned over to the entrance of the underground that they had appeared from with her head, sighing. "You two'd best leave, else you'll end up as prisoners." She was just about to turn around and walk away, before she extended her hand out to Hiro. "Name's Hope." She said, smiling. "If I ever see you two again, I'll be sure to properly thank you."
Hiro knew that they wouldn't be able to stay here long before something happens, and they would be taken away, back to their own time. So, he took Hope's hand, and shook. "Hiro." He said, curtly. "Whether you know it or not, you saved my life already once before." He left it at that, before bowing thankfully before Sage. "Thank you for keeping me alive, Sage" He said, standing back up. "Do take care, now, you two." Hiro turned to Sayha, also motioning to the entrance. "We should get going. I don't think we'll be able to stay here much longer, anyways." Hiro held up his hand, as it was beginning to become transparent. This meant that their time here was likely being recalled, and their mission was successful. Hiro began to walk back to the entrance of the catacombs, hopefully with Sayha nearby him. A little further inside, they would both disappear, back into the Mansion.
Hope nodded to them both, as they headed off toward the entrance, turning around herself. She looked to Sage. "We've got some company coming soon, so we might as well get to work." She began to walk away, hopefully with Sage following. "Hiro and Sayha, huh...?" She repeated to herself, a grin on her face. She had a new resolve to get even stronger, and fight harder. Perhaps Sage had felt the same? Only time would tell, though, as the guards began to rush into the plaza.
- Epilogue - "Well, that's all well and good, now, isn't it?" The voice of the Trickster could be heard. "Our heroes have completed their goal, and saved a civilization... For now." He laughed. "Who knows what the future holds for them? Well, that's not what I should say... I'm fully aware!" Letting out another powerful, maniacal laugh, he continued. "They were then able to come see me, at any time, and head back to Lune. Perhaps the most decent thing I could do. Goodness, I'm such a wonderful being!~" His voice trailed off, with his laughter fading into the darkness...

After Hiro was able to bring himself to move, Sayha accepted his help to helping her stand, though it felt like she could probably pass out at any time. However, she kept that feeling to herself, not wanting to worry the others. She following closely behind Hiro over to the two Landers. Hope asked what happened exactly but seemed to know that they wouldn’t be able to answer. That was a fair statement since they themselves didn’t exactly know what was happening. Hope, then, properly introduced herself, and Hiro introduced himself as well. “Sayha,” she responded in kind.
Hiro turned to her and said that they should probably head out and that their time was short. Sayha nodded and started to follow Hiro, Though, she paused, looking back to the two Landers. She gave them a quick salute and a nod before turning back and following Hiro. When they walked through the entrance, they were back at the Purple Mirror Mansion in the room where the Trickster was. The second part of the adventure came to a close, and this time Sayha wasn’t alone at the end. Sayha touched her pocket briefly, feeling the <Pebble of Philosophy>. It was cool now and not active at all.
Sage also introduced herself when the other three did, and she watched them walk off and disappear. “I think we’ll see them again, Hope,” Sage said, “Next time, though, it will be under better circumstances. I know it.” Sage felt as if there was a weight lifted off her shoulders though she wasn’t quite sure why. Either way, both her and Hope would have a lot of questions to answer and reports to file. But at least they were alive.
