Seeing as he had recently leveled up quite a bit, Kane only saw it fit to create himself a new Grimoire. His old one had been serving him fine for a whil yes, but his new level not only necessitated the increase in damage output, but the mass production of it also seemed a bit off. It didn't quite match the style he was going for. So once again he decided to return to his repertoire of Lovecraftian knowledge in order to create for himself a better book. Sure he could have just made himself a functional copy of the vanity item he had made as a gift for a friend, but that was her look. He would need his own dark creation in order to both impress and sway the masses.
In the end, he selected one that would be more suited for a heretic. While not reeking of the necrotic and dark essence of the Necronomicon, the Book of Eibon would surely do more than enough to inspire his hand in this new craft. Quickly he got to work, searching for the perfect paneling, the perfect binding, even the perfect ink with which to pen this dark masterpiece. Eventually he settled upon the desired designs and look. It would be simple but elegant; an aged black leather with grey binding for the spine, metal silver for more ornate detailing in the cover, and a tan, animal skin like leather for some detailing within the binding itself. The ink would be infused with mana and moonstone in order to make it shine like the lunar light itself whenever it was exposed to mana, and the pages were selected from aged papyrus.
This book would become his piece-de-resistance for his build, and he had an idea that it would last him a good long while.
