[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]Komu [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Komu Valerius [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 18 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Takeru Totsuka, Kamigami no Asobi [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Komu [attr="class","bi2"]FACTION: Adventurer [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]Komu is an average young man in terms of physical appearance. He stands roughly at roughly 6'1. He has never been known to be much of a mass of muscle but he's no twig either. He falls somewhere in between packing enough muscle to get the job done. He wears a fairly sharp face in shape. His hazel eyes are usually soft and welcoming but when angered they turn more piercing than most daggers. One of his most distinctive features is his dark blue-green hair. The color is most reminiscent to that of the deep ocean where light struggles to reach. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Komu has always favored the silver tongue over the silver sword. He enjoys using his words to fight his battles while avoiding conflict whenever possible. That is, conflict towards himself. Komu has always been the person who will readily throw his body in front of anyone who is in danger. Protecting others trumps his desire of avoiding conflict. He finds his joy in life by giving others the ability to be happy. To him, a friendly smile is reward enough for all his efforts. Throughout life, Komu developed into being quite the extrovert in his dealings with others. Engaging in conversations with complete strangers is a walk in the park for him. As an extrovert, he gets his energy and his will to continue from the energy of those surrounding him. If the mood of the room is happy and energetic, Komu will never find himself feeling down. He is also very self-critical. He always sees the room in himself that needs to be improved. Even when victorious, he will find something that he feels needs to improve. Because of this, whenever he fails he beats himself up more than most would. While these feelings never really go away, the severity is greatly affect by whether or not he is surrounded by people who do not share in the same mood. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Komu was born to two loving parents who cared for him through thick and thin. While they weren’t very wealthy they had a roof over their heads and food on the table. Luxury wasn’t really something he got too familiar with. His father was a carpenter but he was always overshadowed by the bigger businesses that ruled over the town. His mother didn’t have a job and instead stayed at home to take care of Komu. Early on in life he was homeschooled by his parents. They weren’t the smartest of people but they tried their best with his teachings. Komu learned all the basics he really needed to get by in life but he started to get very dissatisfied with the little that he was being taught. When he was about 12 years old, his father was out at the train station picking up a shipment that had come in for his carpentry business. While he was there, a stranger had slipped off the platform and had fallen onto the tracks where a moving train was about to tread over. Quickly, Komu’s father rushed over and pulled the man to safety just before the train would have turned the man into a ground meat. The man thanked Komu’s father and invited him and his family over to dinner that night as a show of thanks for saving his life. Upon their arrival at the stranger’s house, Komu was overtaken by wonder at the rich mansion that was laid out before his eyes. This man was one of the richest businessmen in town. After the dinner, the man approached Komu’s father and offered him an education at his brother’s boarding school in England. Komu’s father liked the idea but knew it would be a long time before he was able to his child again. In the end Komu ended up leaving for the boarding school shortly before his 13 birthday. Komu really didn’t fit well into the rich society of the boarding school he attended. He wasn’t familiar with the way that they lived their lives and it showed. He was pretty much an outcast from the other students and was bullied on a regular basis. Though he really didn’t care what the others would say about him, it still took a toll on him as time went on. As it was hard for him to make friends, he got into online gaming where no one really knew who he was. While online he could be whoever he wanted to be. What he desired most was to be like those who had shunned him from their society. He became elegant and eloquent trying his hardest to be as royal as he could. This secret identity of his helped him get by through the real world and even helped him better connect with those around him. By the time he graduated, he still never really fit in to his classmates but he moved on with his life. He moved into a quaint little apartment and begun his life in the real world. He continued his internet gaming life when he moved and shortly after found the game called Elder Tales. He had heard about the game throughout his time in school but he never looked into it. Once he starting playing, however, he had fell in love with the game. At this point, he wanted to be different than his assailants back in school. He wanted to be someone who welcomed all. This was a place where he could start a new life and take it wherever he wanted it to go. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"] |

The Bard imbues a tune onto a weapon that allows the weapon to cause a shockwave on impact with the target's body. From this point on, the remnant shockwave remains on the target's body and acts like a time bomb ready to be set off by another attack. If the target is struck by an attack while Resonance Beat is still active, they suffer an increased amount of damage on the second blow. It is such that Bards who use percussion instruments and repeatedly use Resonance Beat are called "Drummers" or "Taiko masters". This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. Battle Tempo effect: While in Allegro/Presto, the effect of Resonance Beat's second blow knocks down the target. [attr="class","skill"]Speed Sword Etude: Tier I Skill Untempoed skill. A lively song that makes one want to rush into battle, causing the surface of the skin to lightly sparkle during its duration. This tune causes all nearby party members' attack speeds to rise. This skill has a casting time of 3 seconds, a duration of 60 seconds and a cooldown time of 30 seconds. If it is used on a target that is currently affected by this buff, its duration resets to the full 60 second duration. [attr="class","skill"]Feedback Resonance: Tier I Skill Untempoed skill. The Bard plays their instrument and causes a high-pitched feedback noise to resonate around the surrounding area. All opponents within three meters of the Bard are stunned for one second. This skill generates a moderate amount of aggro, but due to its nature, it might attract nearby hostile monsters. Be careful when using it in a high population area. This skill's debuff is classified as a Slow effect. This skill has an instant casting time and a cooldown time of 20 seconds. Any opponents affected by this skill's stunning effect cannot be stunned again by the same skill for 30 seconds. Battle Tempo effect: N/A [attr="class","skill"]Carving: Toggle skill. Artisans have a certain affinity with carving stone, making their normal artistic talents not to be underestimated in battle. Artisans deal 20% more damage to Rock-type monsters. They can also ignore defense buffs on Rock-type monsters. [attr="class","skill"]Allure: A toggle skill that can be used anytime in a conversation with People of the Land. It allows the Courtesan to smooth over any mistakes and retain the target's attention. Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels.
