Appearance In the real world, Natalia's appearance is less colorful than her counterpart 'Sync'. A petite young woman with a rather plump figure; and a wide smile. Most words that positively would describe her are well-rounded, curvy, and hearty. Her overall weight is 140 lbs, although she's worked to get some of it off. She has a light ivory skin tone and bright brown eyes. Her hair comes to her mid-back and is often swept into a ponytail or a bun. Often times she could be seen wearing dresses or the occasional shirt and pants with sneakers. Most of her clothes end up becoming too big for her within a month's time therefore she wears her mother's clothes from time to time. However, inside of the game, Natalia drastically changes into a young woman that is 5'0" and is significantly thinner than her real life counterpart. Her skin is fair with a slight peach tone, and her hair is a sea foam green with flecks of yellow and pink. She has bright green eyes with a strange flower-like iris; and her clothes are primarily light colored matching her color scheme. She is fairly daintier in appearance and carries several packs on her to hold her things. Her Grimoire is oftentimes tucked under her arm or placed into her Inventory while her Kunai is always in its holster on the side of her shorts. Her clothes consist of the standard leather armor although she hopes to be able to switch it up one day. | Personality Not everything that glitters is gold. Sync never thought that being a Support would be this nerve wracking. In the real world, she often tried to keep her temper when it came to interacting with people. Bouts of stupidity, defeatists, and constant reminders of why patience was a virtue. However being stuck within a VMMORPG for the last two years taught her that silence is not always golden. For that reason, she no longer bites her tongue. Whatever may come to her mind regardless of what it may be, who it may affect, and how it may be taken; it is spoken aloud. Her words oftentimes range from 'Its okay, you'll get through this' to 'Please suck it up before I knock some sense into you'. Although violence is not always the best option nor is it the quickest one, it does well to threaten someone first and then reason later. Rationality is one of her better traits considering that she takes to reason more than she does to impulsiveness. Her quick thinking and creativity are what paved the way through most of her rehabilitation while she was through the process of trying to regain her sight. An extrovert at heart and willing to make friends with almost anyone. The goodness in a person is what Sync often times tries to notice. However, she is also aware that is in great importance not to become disillusioned. Fake smiles, fake friends, and anything that could prove detrimental to her growth as a person are often cut off quickly at the source and tossed away. Her sympathy for those who cannot make friends, and her empathy for those who cannot make friends differ greatly. "Everyone has a chance to make something out of themselves, whether they choose to or not is up to them." She has the ability to be empathetic with another person and show genuine concern. However, the empathy well dries up very quickly when it comes to a person who is merely catfishing for affection. Allowing your demons to beat you, whining without doing anything; sure fire ways to get her blood boiling. Her words often are blunt and harsh, coming out with a deal of sarcasm and a swift tongue. There are times when her buttons have been pushed to the limit and she shows a great deal of aggression. In the past Sync has tried to quell the other side to which her anger comes from but has found that as stupidity increases, it is harder to contain. Every step that she takes and every move that she makes has to be calculated with precision. She tries her best to learn from her mistakes and take a different route. When it comes to admitting that she is wrong and taking responsibility for her actions, often times she is prepared to do so to the fullest. Her optimism and self-confidence allows her to push through most trials. Being a Support means that you have to stand by the members of your team and not cower in the face of adversity. Her loyalty to her cause and stubbornness along with the headstrong nature that she possesses causes her to be unable to turn away from a fight. Despite all of those qualities, she possesses the ability to be quite gentle when the moment arises. Taking a wounded soul into her hand and helping to bring them back to the light although be sure to know that once you're all better, you're going to get a heavy clonk to the head. |

Biography
August 6th, 1994 - 1996
A light wailing noise echoed throughout the hospital room as a new child was brought into the world. Little Natalia Ruiz opened her eyes for the first time. She could smell and see so many colors and hear so many sounds, but also taste them on her tongue. All of the sensations overwhelmed the child and her cries continued even after she was held to her mother's bosom. The young couple shared a quick look before trying to soothe their child. Only a few weeks later, Natalia was diagnosed with an extreme case of synesthesia. One that could wrack her entire body with the most delightful or horrific experiences until it led to the possibility of her death. For the first few years of her life, she was made to learn how to walk and do basic exercises without using her sight.
December 4th, 2003
It all happened at once and then not at all. After years of being told not to open her eyes or even peek at herself in the mirror, Natalia disobeyed. Opening her eyes just once so that she could see the sights that her other classmates had, her entire body convulsed at once. She was assaulted by all types of imagery and clasped her hands over her eyes. Letting out a soundless scream as she jerked and fell to the floor. Her entire body convulsed and jerked, twitching and haphazardly flailing until she passed out. The paramedics came and her parents arrived only a few moments later to see her. The seizures were similar to those caused by epilepsy but they were brought on by the extreme amount of stimulus sent to her brain.
October 9th, 2012
It had taken a few years and a lot of therapy before she was able to successfully open her eyes and use her sight. Now a grown woman and able to make her own decisions, she was faced with something else. Dependency. Her mother and father took care of her for most of her life. Though Natalia was prepared to branch off into the world for her own, her mother was against it. Arguments brewed and words were spat, some things she honestly wishes that she could have taken back but stubbornness turned into pride and pride tuned into anger.
August 6th, 2018
She had lunch with her mother on the same day. The two of them conversing about things that had happened in their lives and sharing small stories about the past. After waving her mother goodbye and entering the subway station, she noticed a message on her news feed. Relating to a game called [Elder Tale Online]; she remembered some of her coworkers talking about it. Natalia decided to give it a try in hopes that it would distract her from the mundane.

It had been two years since she had first entered Elder Tale Online. There were moments where she yearned for the real world and to see her family once again. But this world wasn't so bad and the people there were nic as well. If all she could do was live, she was happy enough to do so.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Enchanter
Astral Torment: The Enchanter shoots an indigo bolt at a target, causing semi-transparent chains to appear and surround their body like a chain of guilt. Although not movement restrictive like other similar Enchanter abilities, this skill places an oppressive atmosphere upon the target and causes extremely minor damage over time for the next minute. However, this skill can be stacked on a target up to five times, each time multiplying the effect's potency. This skill's effect is considered a Mind debuff, and a five-chain effect is on par with low-rank poison effects. This skill has a cast time of 1 second and subsequent cooldown of 5 seconds.
Astral Bind: Astral Bind is best known for its quick casting speed, causing magical chains to shackle the target's limbs and restrict any movement further than about a meter. Because of this, it's especially effective against DPS melee fighters, but not so much for ranged or magic classes. It normally wears off after 6 seconds, but can be resisted against to reduce its duration by roughly 2 seconds. A target who chooses to resist may not perform any offensive skills for 2 seconds after the binding is lifted. This skill's debuff classification is Mind. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Pulse Bullet: Possibly the Enchanter's best skill at attempting to fill a DPS role, pulse bullet is a simple light orb projectile that flies off toward an enemy when used. Its damage potential is low, but its 0.5 second cast time and 3 second cooldown rate is low enough that an Enchanter can actually shoot Pulse Bullets in rapid succession and rack up damage. Admittedly, spamming Pulse Bullets prevents the Enchanter from providing support, and doing so for long enough will eventually start to wear down the Enchanter's MP.
Roleplay Class: Chef
Iron Stomach: Not even food poisoning can stop a dedicated chef! This skill can be toggled, allowing chefs to become immune to status debuffs caused by drinks and food. They also passively recover from sickness status effects twice as quickly.
Crafting Class: Gardener
Weeding: Toggle skill. Gardeners not only have a green thumb, but the ability to bring destruction to that which they give life. They inflict 20% more damage when fighting a Plant-type monster and take 10% less damage from Plant-type monster attacks.
