Sark looked about Londinium. It was a familiar sight; a sprawling, broken metropolis full of shattered skyscrapers overflowing in lichen, English mosses and oak trees. A select few buildings had been cleared from the nature and repaired, but by and large the locals and adventurers alike chose to squat in the shadow of a long past. His city was beautiful and exciting, but compared to the city of Lune it was derelict.
It was sunset in autumn, a truly beautiful time of year. The ambers and roses washed the clouded sky with inspired colours, yet Sark didn't appreciate it. Wherever he trod he could not help compare his city with that of Lune. They had been so excited to find steam engines when this other Golden Age of civilisation had mag-elec trains. Lune had a few guilds who exerted minor political control while Lune had several guild-like organisations who commanded entire suburbs. All of that had been done by locals - just normal people leading normal, finite lives.
At the end of the day, after 2 years of existence what had Sark done in comparison? These troubling thoughts floated about in his head as he contemplated his position in society. He'd head that travel broadened one's understanding and challenged their assumptions, but he'd never realised just how true that was.
He decided that anyone could be a tailor and anyone could be an acrobat; adventurer or lander it did not matter. What made him special as an individual was his knowledge of the the previous world, his Western attitude, his own personal spunk, and his immortal body. He should try to make the most of his advantages where he could and hope that he could make this world a better place; a place as impressive as Lune.
A telepathy call popped up from Fletcher. His elder dwarf had also been to the city, so as Sark accepted the call he wondered if his friend was having the same soul searching questions. The call was brief; Fletcher had found something at the Messier Sages and wanted Sark there ASAP.
Sark discarded his musings; he could mull over that another time. For now he was needed. The samurai activated his trusty battle skill 'lightspeed', and with a burst of speed began to race through the city. His small form wove between ambulatory couples, it leaped over overgrown traffic dividers and zippped through empty building shells. In just 15 minutes the panting samurai arrived at the edge of the pavilion where the order had set up their camp. His eyes locked onto what Fletcher must have been talking about.
There, standing casually with several identically dressed comrades, was Mr :(.

2. Investigate by consulting the Messier Order [Londinium]
- Post at least 3 times within the thread (if performing this questline as a group, each member must post 2 times) with a total of 750 or more words
- Adequately cover all of the following information within the summary into the events of your thread.
- Summary:
Returning to the Messier Order, you'll no doubt have a number of questions to ask the Order. When you arrive to the Order, you'll encounter a man who appears to be one of the leading figures of the group, answering by the name of Sage Bode. If you chose to attend the Blue District's interrogation, you'll no doubt recognize this man as looking almost exactly like Magistrate Zaffre in physical appearance.
Your discussion with Sage Bode and investigations in the city make you realize that you'll likely need to be able to attend the banquet at the end of the festival in order to get to the bottom of this incident. Based on your clues, you have a few ideas on where to start if you wish to attend as Guests of Honor.

Similarities to Zaffre: Should you tell him about your journey to the Blue District, Bode will reveal that he is the descendant of the man you witnessed in the Blue District. In addition, the Messier Order is made from descendants of the Landers who were able to escape the city prior to its destruction. As you no doubt have the ability to use the Pebble of Philosophy's power to save the city, he asks for your help.
Praesepe: The Genius of Pestilence whose mind had collapsed long before. It attacks people and induces despair in them in order to feed upon their emotions. It was said to be the catalyst to the destruction of the Lune Seaport after it killed or abducted several prominent leaders in the city during the Harvest Moon Festival of the Third Cerulean Era. However, the texts from that era have still changed somehow and the creature is hardly ever mentioned again. The Order wondered if you were the cause behind this change in history.
Changes in the Timeline: The texts still indicate that the city underwent its destruction during the Harvest Festival, particularly at a time called the Banquet of Revolution.
The Messier Order's Involvement: Due to their inability to command the powers of the Pebble of Philosophy, they are unable to help you directly other than guiding you along the way through monitoring how history changes from your actions. Nevertheless, there may be a way for you to augment the power of the Pebble into its true form - the Philosopher's Stone. The Sages will let you know when ritual preparations for restoring the stone are ready.
