She portrays herself a little more flexible with how things happen, able to improvise based on the situation. Shanalua views honesty as both important and not important depending on a situation. She trusts people, but she is actually not sure wether to trust them or not. She doesn't mind getting to know a person she doesn't really know, since she thought that at least she learns something about them. She also doesn't mind being in groups and she doesn't care if it's small or large. She loves her family, friends, acquaintances, and others she know. Layla describes her as a kind and caring person, and despite being an orphan, she considers Lira as her real mother. She doesn’t have any pets, but when she was about seven years old, she had an imaginary pet called “Emi”, who, in her imagination, is a dog, but two years later, she forgets about Emi. Later, her once peaceful life had changed five years later: Lira died of an illness, which is the reason the orphanage closed. When the orphanage was closed, Layla met one of the children Lira had raised, who was named “Maxwell”. Months later, they became best friends, and they promised each other that they will protect each other with their own reputation or life, but thy never had any romantic relations together, since they were too young for romance. But six years had passed by and Maxwell is leaving to go abroad, but before he left, Maxwell gave her a necklace that was made by his mother. His mother said that the necklace was for him, but Maxwell gave it to Layla instead. Layla kept it and considered it as her most treasured possession. And one year later, she was taken in to a rich family. She noticed that they look like her, but it was revealed to her that they were her real family. She was happy to see her real family in person, and her parents apologized for abandoning her, and they only did because her mother gave birth at a young age, and to prevent her mother and father’s parents from knowing about that, her father brought her to an orphanage. Then Layla was happy that she was back with her real parents. She also noticed that there are adventure books, the same books she likes to read during her life at the orphanage. And because of her love for fantasy, she began playing MMORPGs. Later she noticed that a very popular MMORPG called Elder Tale has finally released a server officially in her country. Immediately, when her family went shopping, she bought the published Elder Tale. Unexpectedly, she became her own character, Shanalua, after creating her character. Maintaining this skill results in a constant drain on the swashbuckler's MP. From Level 1-30, only one weapon can be controlled by this skill. From Level 31-60, two weapons can be controlled. From Level 61-90, three weapons can be controlled. After Level 90, four weapons can be controlled. Ante Up has a casting time of 4 seconds and an effective controllable range of 1.5 meters. It drains MP at the rate of about 10% of the Swashbuckler's MP each turn, provided the maximum number of weapons is being controlled per tier. Shields cannot be controlled by this skill. Ranged weapons such as a bow or gun that is controlled by this skill cannot fire their projectiles. [attr="class","skill"]Blind Bet: Tier I Swashbuckler Skill. Attempting to hit a pressure point, the Swashbuckler thrusts the weapon forward as its blade glows a faint blue color. This motion has an animation time of 2 seconds, 1 seconds each strike if dual-wielding. If it makes direct unguarded contact with an opponent, their vision becomes blurry for the next 10 seconds, resulting in an accuracy debuff. The degree of blindness is most effective at the moment of contact, clearing up as the debuff wears off. For single-weapon and throwing weapon users, the debuff is dependent upon a single weapon's hit. A dual weapon user must strike the opponent successfully with both weapons to ensure the maximum effect. Even still, they have two chances at hitting, so stability is sacrificed for consistency. Nevertheless, the cooldown of this technique is also 10 seconds, meaning that an experienced user can sustain the effect as long as they can manage to pierce the opponent's defense each time. [attr="class","skill"]Discard: Tier I Swashbuckler Skill. A technique designed to reduce aggro for the swashbuckler. As soon as the opponent draws near, the swashbuckler performs a somersault over the target's head, then uses the blunt end of the blade to spin the opponent sideways. This sudden disorientation disrupts a monster's thought process, often resulting in its battle AI resetting. This skill has an animation time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds. [attr="class","skill"] Needlework: Level 1 Tailor Skill. Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly. [attr="class","skill"]Allure: Level 1 Courtesan Skill. A toggle skill that can be used anytime in a conversation with People of the Land. It allows the Courtesan to smooth over any mistakes and retain the target's attention. Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels.
