Queen of the Underground
Character Info
REAL NAME: Cordelia Izunai
REAL GENDER: Female
GAME GENDER: N/A
AGE: 17
SEXUALITY: Homosexual
FACE-CLAIM: Shiro, NO GAME NO LIFE
PLAYED BY: N/A
RACE: Dwarf
FACTION: Person of the Land
Appearance Cordelia's most distinct trait is her size; owing to the fact she is a dwarf, despite her late age as a seventeen year old, her appearance and stature make her off as a child, what one would call a lolita. She stands at 4'7'', and her body is rather petite and slim, compared to most girls her age, even within the dwarven race. Her hair is usually messy, due to the locale she calls home, but Cordelia manages to pull of the look well; while the colour is predominantly white, there are various other tints within it, such as pale blue, purple, pink, green, and yellow. Lastly, her eyes are a passive yellow-red or golden colour, which always seem to pierce one's soul when she looks at them. Her attire is made up of rags and cloth, collected by the members of her sewer gang - the Underground - and stitched together in the semblance of formal robes. While they may look odd and dishevelled on others, Cordelia's grace and regal disposition allow her to pull it off quite remarkably. | Personality Cordelia can be quite difficult to read, as her facial expressions usually remain... expressionless. She avoids the turmoil of revealing one's emotions, keeping herself eerily calm even when speaking. But, while she may seem cold or empty to those who do not know her, she is incredibly kind and caring towards her people, the members of the Underground who name her Queen. And she earns the royal title swimmingly, always giving off an air of grace and poise that can only be attributed to one in much higher circumstances. Some even believe she was royalty for a time, but she has never given any information or clues towards her past, leaving it all to speculation. Outside of her people, she is slow to trust those who have not proven themselves to her, and while she prefers not to rush headlong into violence, she can be vicious when forced into a situation that can only be rectified through combat. Her propensity towards the Heretic class suggests she has a much darker side to her abilities, one that even the Underground have yet to fully realise. |

Biography
Many believe that Cordelia is one of the last semblances of evidence that there once ever was a ruling class in the Unfounded Kingdom, who disappeared a long time ago, before the Catastrophe took place. However, with no indication from the woman herself, these are merely rumours and speculation that have no backing to them.
Cordelia's true past, the details of which she has revealed to no one, begin as the daughter of a wealthy artisan in the upper districts of Londinium. Despite many quarrels amongst the merchant caste, Cordelia's mother became a respected and talented craftsman in her time, and as her daughter aged, she wished for her legacy and her creations to continue on through Cordelia. Teaching her the ways of the craft, Cordelia's mother trained her with the intention of her daughter inheriting the shop.
Alas, fate and destiny chose a different path for the intrepid Queen, who became enamoured with the fanciful woman who would come to her mother for trinkets and baubles; their dress and demeanour struck them as faux nobility, using their charm and wit to seduce and coerce other Landers, most commonly men, into doing their bidding. Wishing to ply herself to the trade, she ran away from home, leaving behind her mother's shop and finding herself in need of a tutor.
Luckily, she caught the eye of an established gentleman Courtesan, who took Cordelia under his wing and began teaching her his ways. However, he proposed other teachings to the young doe-eyed girl, offering to pass on his talents in the manipulation of Corruption and Miasma. By the time Cordelia realised what she had been taught, she had already become accustomed to the role as a Heretic. Begrudgingly, she left her tutor behind, distraught by her newly found and corruptive powers.
Even Cordelia is unsure how she came to find herself in the sewers, but after much lingering in the dark, she was found by a group of Landers who had made the tunnels their home. Wowing and impressing them with her wit and charm, as she was taught, she quickly brought them together, even so much as recruiting other Landers to their 'gang'; and so, here she is today, the Queen of the Underground.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Heretic
Hearing Aptitude -- Tier I Adventurer Skill -- A toggle skill that improves the character's hearing perception. Whispers can be heard from about 2 meters away, conversations can be heard up to 10 meters away, and the hearing range of the most distant sounds are doubled. It is a very effective skill for the sake of gathering intel and eavesdropping.
Centripetal Buffer -- Tier I Heretic Skill -- A skill usable only with a Crystal Ball equipped. The Heretic creates two copies of the crystal ball using Miasma as a temporary composition material. The three crystal balls then float about half a meter outward and rapidly spin around the user. This allows for a decent amount of protection against oncoming physical attacks. Centripetal Buffer has a duration of 10 seconds, a cooldown of 10 seconds, and a cast time of 3 seconds. Centripetal Buffer deals 2 points of Corruption to any targets struck by this skill. Centipetal Buffer's casting time can be increased by 2 seconds in order to summon an additional orb and deal 2 additional points of Corruption to targets.
Humoral Stigma -- Tier I Heretic Skill -- The Heretic infuses an open wound with Miasma. As a natural antagonist to Anima, the energy of life, the Miasma lingers around the wound and prevents it from healing naturally. As such, this is a bleeding debuff curse that causes open wounds to continuously bleed. The target loses HP over time as long as their HP is less than full, or after 2 minutes have passed. The HP loss is fairly little but it adds up over time, much like a poison effect would. If the wounds should somehow be fully healed and HP reaches 100%, however, the curse is expelled. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. A target currently affected by this skill's effect is treated as though their Corruption was increased by 3.
Miasma Bullet -- Tier I Heretic Skill -- The Heretic generates Miasma into a black orb projectile. The orb is then fired toward an enemy within 10 meters at a high velocity. Exposure to this concentrated mass deals dark attribute damage to the target and applies 1 point of Corruption to the target. The Heretic may alternately charge this skill to deal 25% extra damage and 1 additional point of Corruption for every second of charging. This skill has a cooldown of 5 seconds, a regular casting time of 2 seconds, and a maximum casting time of 5 seconds.
Oblivion Claw -- Tier I Heretic Skill -- A Heretic skill that conjures Miasma to shroud a melee weapon up to 1 meter away in a purple mist-like animation. It may also be cast on a character's bare hand, creating a purple mist silhouette resembling a demon's claw. A direct contact between the enchantment and the target's body deals minor darkness-attribute damage and places a harmful curse upon the target. When this skill is cast, the Heretic may select one of the following effects: [Increase the animation or cast time of this skill by 1 second], [After activation, increase the cooldown time of this skill by 5 seconds], [Reduce the duration of this skill by 10%], or [The user takes 5 points of Corruption immediately after this skill is used]. If a target was damaged by this skill, the selected effect will activate immediately when the target uses their next skill. After a curse was successfully placed upon the target, no additional curses may be placed unless the user recasts the skill. The animation and passive damage buff will remain, however. If it has been 10 seconds since this skill made contact with an enemy's body or equipment, it is cancelled. This skill has a cooldown of 20 seconds, a minimum casting time of 3 seconds, and a maximum casting time of 8 seconds. For every second spent to charge the casting time, increase the curse's effect by 10%. A target currently affected by this skill's effect is treated as though their Corruption was increased by 5.
Shackles of the Sentenced -- Tier I Heretic Skill -- Miasma takes a tangible form in the shape of violet-black chains which erupt from the ground and wrap around a target. These chains root the enemy in place for 5 seconds. During this time, if the target should be afflicted with any skill that inflicts Corruption, their Corruption is increased by 1 additional point. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds.
Roleplay Class: Courtesan
Allure -- Level 1 Courtesan Skill -- A toggle skill that can be used anytime in a conversation with People of the Land. It allows the Courtesan to smooth over any mistakes and retain the target's attention. Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels.
Crafting Class: Artisan
Carving -- Level 1 Artisan Skill -- Toggle skill. Artisans have a certain affinity with carving stone, making their normal artistic talents not to be underestimated in battle. Artisans deal 20% more damage to Rock-type monsters. They can also ignore defence buffs on Rock-type monsters.
Quick Architect -- Level 11 Artisan Skill -- Through a process of trial and error, fledgling Artisans are able to learn the techniques for producing crafted materials quickly. This allows them to create temporary structures of stone, given enough available materials. However, this comes with the cost of making the object extremely fragile, to the point where even a moderate impact can completely shatter it. It's said that some Artisans have attempted to turn this quirk into an unusual battle strategy when fighting atop stone-filled mountains.
